Two Hands

Two Hands was my first foray into the culinary options available at The Quad in Uptown. The food was fresh with layers of flavors and textures. My chicken harissa bowl had the right amount of spice. The service was thoughtful and friendly. Xita timed the courses perfectly for us. The atmosphere is bright and welcoming. It was a bit loud for conversation with a full lunchtime crowd. I’ll definitely come back to try their brunch menu!

Honestly one of the best brunch spots by far in dallas in my opinion. I met with my friend and we ordered the brunch bowls, which had a good amount of veggies and meat; just a colorful bowl of healthiness, tastefulness, and nutrients. We also got lattes-their drinks are pretty amazing. And of course we had to try their desserts. Everything was so good. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in town. Great place for small or large groups. Till then, let’s eat and sip!

I was slightly disappointed. The price felt a bit high, but the food wasn’t as delicious as expected. the flavor was a bit too plain. This restaurant has branches in Austin and New York, yet I think the dinner menu at this Tropical Texas location is just average. The staff recommended that their brunch would feature a new menu, but I don’t think I’ll give it another try.

The food and atmosphere were great when my mom and I went to brunch over the weekend. Although, my mom is allergic to gluten (celiac) and she got really sick from something in one of the dishes. We made sure to order all things that were GF on the menu and the server told us that there is no cross contamination in the kitchen. We ordered the banana bread starter, brussel sprouts, and the chicken bowl. We would want to go back because we really did enjoy the food, but not sure what happened and how she got glutenized.

I came here for brunch for my birthday! The service was absolutely amazing. They were super busy but Michael the manager took care of us and always made sure we had everything we needed. The entire staff signed happy birthday on one of their signature postcards which was just the sweetest touch. The food is also amazing. Whether u come for brunch, lunch, or dinner it is all amazing. Make sure to get the banana walnut bread, it is to die for. Will 10000% be back and couldn’t recommend enough!

Very good restaurant. I've been back a couple of times now and my wife and I really enjoy it. I either go for breakfast or dinner. They have wonderful healthy options and also indulgences. I liked their burger so much I forgot to take a picture for the review.

Love Two Hands ATX so took a client to this new location in Dallas! The Quad area is completely revamped and I was so impressed with what they have done with that area of Dallas. The restaurant is designed well, had a cool vibe. We got there at 11:30 and by 12 it was packed. We loved all of our dishes. The only thing was they were out of all the ingredients for their fresh juices. They hadn't gotten a shipment yet so that was disappointing. We had a very attentive and great service from our waitress and would highly recommend this place. Make a reservation.

Tried out Two Hands in Dallas with some friends and the food did not disappoint. Definitely a solid spot if you’re into bold, well-seasoned dishes. The only downside was the service, which felt a bit inconsistent throughout the service. Some parts were smooth, others not so much. Overall though, the food made up for it, and I’d give it another shot.

One of the better brunch places I've been to in the DFW area- we were quickly seated and our server was great. The aesthetic and vibes of the restaurant were also top tier. We ordered the steak and eggs for brunch, along with the lemon poppyseed waffle, the Banana bread, and the chili fries. I can't say how great it was and how fast the food came as well. It was overall a great experience and would definitely come again

I recently visited Two Hands with a group of four on a Saturday morning, and overall, it was a really enjoyable experience. The ambience is super cute, with both indoor and outdoor seating options that give off a welcoming, relaxed vibe. I'd recommend either making a reservation or arriving right when they open, since it definitely gets crowded. For food, we ordered the steak and eggs, smoked salmon toast, harissa chicken salad, and an açaí bowl. Everything was beautifully plated and tasted fresh and flavorful--no disappointments at the table. The staff was very friendly and attentive, though it did take a little while for our food to come out. All in all, Two Hands is a great spot for a casual brunch with friends. Good food, friendly service, and a charming atmosphere--just be prepared for a bit of a wait if it's busy.

Tasty brunch options -- some hits, some misses! I stopped by for Sunday brunch with a friend. They're busy, so definitely make a reservation! The interior is modern and trendy. Service was decent -- I waited a good bit to be seen by a host and the server once I was seated. Food & Drink: - Lavender Matcha: standard! Would drink again! - Breakfast Burrito: loved the addition of the hashbrown and the mushrooms. Delicious! - Lemon Poppyseed Waffle: wanted to love it, but was disappointed. The waffle was extremely dry. Skip!

I thoroughly enjoyed my brunch here. It was such a good meal. It was so delicious. Everything on my plate was so good. It left my taste buds happy. The strawberry rose matcha was splendid. And the big brekky was hands down the best breakfast I had in a long time. Servers were fast and it wasn't too busy at 9 am. Love the look and the menu. I need to come back here again.

The ambience and the cleanliness of this restaurant was very high quality. I liked the warm colors and the smells of the coffee bar. The drinks were amazing and full of flavor. I ordered the chai latte and it was not watered down like other places are. I ordered an egg and salmon dish. The egg was great, and I loved sweet and fresh jam for my bread. However the salmon was quite dry and somewhat over cooked and not flavorful. Maybe I should have tried something else. But it was still a great experience overall.

Extremely beautiful place to eat some colorful, flavourful yet healthy options. I really enjoyed the menu items available and would come back. The ambiance is inviting and bright, I think eating inside is the way to go. Got a salmon quinoa bowl, avocado toast, chicken Harris's bowl. Salmon was cooked perfectly and the jammy egg and the veggies that came with it added a refreshing crunch and burst of flavor. I ordered a seared steak with it and highly recommend the steak. My friends who got an avocado toast and harrisa bowl told me it a was really good. I did try the chicken and it was delicious-- I may have to get that next time! They also got a flat white and a smoothie but I did not try it so I can't comment. Service was alright but they seemed to rush us out, that was my only gripe. Other than that, highly recommend

Modern restaurant with plenty of sunlight and wood textures throughout the restaurant. I can see it being a trendy spot with the cute decor. I ordered an Iced Americano and asked for some stevia as they didn't have sugar free syrup, and the waitress forgot until I asked again. My friend also ordered a side of eggs and bacon and when the food came out, we had to ask the server where it was as well. The food itself was pretty and delicious! The waffles were fluffy, with a nice touch of cream and syrup. I ordered my burger with jalapenos and it was a great burger as well. It was juicy but had a nice crisp too with melted cheese in between. I think it's a solid brunch place to visit despite the service since they were minor inconveniences.

I made a reservation to come try out this new spot with some friends - I highly recommend making one since this spot is pretty popular, and also note that on the reservation confirmation email it says "Your table will be reserved for 90 minutes for parties up to 4 and 2 hours for larger parties". We felt a little rushed towards the end of our visit, so I would definitely keep this in mind since they seem to be trying to stick to that timetable (which is totally understandable since they're a popular, new spot that is attracting lots of people - just to be aware)! Depending on when you're coming, they have street parking or can validate for one of the local garages. The vibes are more casual, noise level was average (still able to have nice conversation without shouting), and service during the meal was a little hands-off. I ordered a flat white, harissa chicken bowl, and hash brown side - this was a great brunch meal and I would definitely come back again for the harissa chicken bowl (great flavor on the chicken, amazing sauce, and veggies prepped perfectly)! Next time I'd also love to try some of the cocktails and share the lemon poppyseed waffle since someone at the table next to us got one and it looked very yummy! Overall - I think this spot is worth checking out, just make sure to grab a reservation beforehand and be mindful of the time expectations while they're still navigating their opening boom!

Walked in for a little drink before a birthday and it was so peaceful and styled very cute. Audrey was amazing, helped us pick out some yummy drinks. I had a gin lavender lemonade that was really yummy and my husband tried this green vodka drink with like a hint of cucumber- he really liked it! I thought it was a little veggie forward but I think a lot of people would enjoy it! We didn't eat dinner, but the menu looks great and I can't wait to come back! The crispy oil fries were so good!! And they had some fun aioli's as well!

I was counting down the days until I could check out Two Hands - I was thrilled they brought it into Dallas! My general sentiment is it was a disappointment for the hype and price, but still had some gems. The ambiance is gorgeous, really a perfect example of cultivating a space that feels modern, abstract, but still polished. I love the intentional use of colors and shapes. We did the tasting menu, so we each got our own 3 course meal. This isn't a super value by any means - depending on your choices, you could end up saving just a few bucks. I think it's more so there to help guide you through recommended dishes (though in my opinion, not all should be recommended). To start, we got the burrata and the brussels. The brussels sprouts were awesome - really one of the stars of this meal. They were cooked so well, crispy, easy to eat. The portion size was pretty generous. The burrata on the other hand was a let-down, and this is coming from a burrata lover. The complex dish includes peas for days and pickled zucchini, which doesn't sound terrible at first glance. But, those who order this will find out that the acidic flavor from the zucchini coats the cheese, making it sour and unpleasant. The pea fritters were like falafel, but with the sour flavors of a cheese that should be creamy and borderline sweet makes for a thumbs down dish. For our entrees, we got the pesto pasta and the peri peri chicken. The pesto was decent, I liked the breadcrumbs on top. It was very lemon-y if that's your thing. I thought the pasta was cooked well - al dente but not too tough. The chicken came out in a half bird style with a lot of bone. This makes for a difficult meal to eat while engaging in conversation. The chicken came with this actually horrific grain salad that was completely bland and inedible. When our server cleared our plates, she said "Isn't that the worst?"...okay...so why is it on the menu and why did she let us order it? Then there was dessert, another polarizing course. I ordered the pavlova and it was a DREAM! The perfect balance between fresh, light, sweet, and creamy. I loved it. My bf didn't know what to order and our server said they were known for the banana coffee bread, so he ordered it. It was so bad - incredibly dense but also hard, like it was just brought out of the freezer. You had to push the fork hard to even get a bite, and the bread was so dry. The coffee cream on top was overpowering. Just a seriously bad dessert and I am shocked it was recommended to us. The service was meh. They printed out our bill and put it on the table with the total being $0.00. We asked about it and they fixed it, but the restaurant was not busy (this was a Wed) and it just shows how careless they were. Overall, I won't be running to come back. I don't think a good restaurant is one that has 50% amazing dishes and 50% notably bad ones. PS. They are on the inKind network, so I would use that to save some money!!

The decor and color is very nice. I have only been here during brunch and need to try their dinner at some point. Service was disappointing. It was slow inside and unsure why service was not attentive. We ordered sparkling water x3 times and finally got it. I also ordered a vanilla latte hot but it came in a glass. I was confused how do you pick this up without burning your hands?! The carrot cake was very disappointing and nothing special for 7-8$. Not to mention the size is TINY! It's almost a mini muffin, barely. Breakfast food was ok. The brekky muffuletta was ok and I would never ordered again. It is a little modified with bacon instead ham. The sauce was just so funky! It was like sour and tangy. Didn't think that paired well. My significant other said the breakfast burrito alright. Overall, it is pretty pricey here and the service would be better but maybe bc they just opened and are figuring things out.

Brunch, lunch, and dinner are all delicious. I have not tried anything I have not liked. You need a reservation for brunch but not dinner. Aesthetic and service are great too. Don't skip dessert.

For starters, Love the location. They do validate for parking as well. We sat outside because it was a sunny day, which got hot very fast because there's no fans blowing or any type of air circulating around the restaurant. I recommend you sit inside. I don't think they trained their servers well. While our server was very nice - she knew NOTHING about the menu. When I asked her what HER favorite items, she said, "well a lot of people get the burger." I said, "I'll just get the burger medium rare then" and she walked away. She came back 5 minutes later and said "we can't do medium rare because it's a smash burger." This is something she should have known considering this is such a popular item according to her. I was with 3 other people and our food took 45 minutes before we received it. The restaurant wasn't even busy so I have no clue what took our food so long. I would rate the burger 7/10. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito which doesn't come with any protein, you have to add it - and the only option is bacon for an additional $6 for 2 small slices inside. Burrito 6.5/10 One of our friends got the chicken sandwich, which is chicken salad with a mango chutney and some type of earthy green dish on the side. It wasn't good at all 2/10. The drinks were good, and so was the freshly squeezed orange juice. Would I return? No. But I'm glad we gave it a shot. See pictures below. I didn't include the chicken salad since it wasn't good.

We were surprised by how unwelcoming the male host was during our visit. He informed us that we had a limited time to dine and leave, even though the restaurant was only about one-third full. This made the experience feel rushed and uncomfortable -- something we've never encountered before.

We really enjoyed our time at Two Hands. We made a reservation for a Wednesday night and were pleasantly surprised to see that it was half price bottles of wine on Wednesday which we gladly enjoyed. We ordered the burrata dish which has great flavor as a whole but the cheese itself wasn't the best I've had. For dinner we ordered the eggplant curry and salmon bowl. The eggplant curry was a hit - I would go back just for that! All in all we had a great time and would return.

The food was delicious, and I also really enjoyed the banana flavors in the coffee! All the servers were so kind, attentive, and communicative. They communicated a 15 minute delay in our drinks immediately. I liked how brightly lit the inside is - made me feel energized for brunch!

We came in on a Wednesday afternoon for brunch to avoid the weekend commotion. There is both inside and outside seating - we opted for inside . There is an area to grab and go for coffee and pastries . The place is bright and I love the retro speakers. Service was quick and kind - Taylor was our waitress . My husband got the steak and eggs and I got the seasonal scramble with an iced peppermint tea. All of it was aesthetically pleasing and delicious . The ingredients tasted fresh, and my husband was pleasantly surprised . A nice addition to Uptown :)

The ambiance and service were really great, but the food was unfortunately glorified diner food. The presentation was good but the eggs weren't salted and some of the greens were wilting. The bread didn't have really any flavor either, which isn't a huge deal - but didn't help the overall taste. My daughter got the breakfast burrito and the hash browns were the texture of rice. Her eggs also lacked salt and any other type of seasoning. The avocado was also browning which just made the whole thing feel like mush. We were some of the first customers with only 2 other people in restaurant. We waited about 15 minutes for our drinks of a latte and matcha latte. The latte was warm and lacked espresso flavor. My daughter did enjoy her matcha. Overall there are far better options in Uptown that are comparable in price and incredibly good.

The food was incredible! Great service. Everyone was super friendly. Super cool space. They have a smaller outdoor area and a decent sized indoor area. Drinks were great too! Only con, on the more expensive side. But definitely recommend!

Good food. New opening, service needs to be polished. (Seating us next to dirty table not good). The environment feels too casual and more appropriate for morning lunch cafe style vs nice dinner out. Prob return but will give them time to sort things out.

This place is awesome. First went in Austin a few years ago and now able to go to the location in Dallas. The food was delicious and all the staff were great and extremely helpful. The one thing I would say is the chicken salad sandwich has changed since I got it a few years ago. The bread is now toasted and it seems about half the size it was four years ago in Austin. Still delicious, but I would prefer the slightly bigger sandwich and the soft freshly cut bread as opposed to the toasted version now. But either way all the food was great.

The best tiramisu I ever had!!! The place is very stylish and the service is good. Parking is a little bit difficult though.

We went for dinner. The ambiance was great. Drinks were decent. Appetizers were pretty good also. We ordered pesto gnocchi and asked the waitress if it was super citrusy and she said not so much. The pasta tasted like you bit into a lemon rind. The waitress said the chef would make a new one for us. Came back 2 minutes later with the same exact dish. Find that pretty offensive, like we wouldn't recognize it was the same thing. Maybe it's because they are just starting and have a few things to work out. Probably should have tried the brunch instead.

I wish I took pictures! The staff is so lovely and the food is so fresh and meticulously plated. I really enjoyed the open windows and plant life ambiance which was extremely relaxing. It was a smooth day here and their lattes are tasty! Definitely recommend!

Just stopped in to grab a coffee & matcha at the indoor coffee bar. Very friendly staff and tasty drinks, will be back to try more!

Had a great meal at Two Hands! Loved how fresh everything was! Ordered the crispy chili fries, harissa chicken bowl, and banana walnut bread and my friend got the pesto cavatelli. The fries weren't necessarily hot when the came out, but they were on the thinner side so I could see how they'd have some trouble retaining heat - flavor was good though. Showed up on a weeknight without a reservation and the only available seating was the patio, it was a bit warm outside but they have umbrellas. The water was served without ice but we asked for some and they added it right away. Service was friendly and attentive - definitely will be back!

I didn't like the food. Charge 6 dollars to add bacon. No thank you. Coffee was okay. My husband like the hamburger and fries.

The breakfast burrito is SO BOMB and so was my banana latte collab with a colostrum company! Go!!!

Great Date Night! Flavors lived up to every expectation and portion sizes more than generous. Nancy helped us out in deciding what to order. We'll definitely be back for brunch!

Incredible flavors! Just what we needed in the area, a late brunch (8am-5pm) Monday to Sunday spot that is also guilt free with the best vibes!! The cherry on top for me was their personable staff that remembers your name and favorite drink! I've been here a couple of times throughout the day, keep in mind they're steady busy all day since they're the new kids on the block. Be patient, it's 100% worth the wait. Tip your servers and be nice, they're doing the best they can with the amount of business they already have. This place is legit with a huge following from their other locations. I learned that the first location opened 10+ years ago in Brooklyn and, Dallas is their 9th location. I'm so happy they're finally here!!!

It's really cute inside but the dinner food is super mid, felt like sweetgreen food but make it sit down. I still want to go back for brunch though. Bar area was cute & would be a nice place to grab some drinks.

I ordered the salmon and a side steak. The steak was supposed to be wagyu and it was extremely chewy. The bread on the smoked salmon was chewy and the egg was overcooked twice. Would not recommend.
