Good food. The scramed eggs with sourdough is okay and the burrito was really good, i truly recommend it. But we ordered a espresso mascarpone bread that unfortunately, was not in its best days. The bread was dry and not fluffy at all, altough the mascarpone cream was fine.

Google
The bowl was surprisingly good! Something different then the avocado toasts or the egg Benedict’s that you usually get. The staff is super fast and friendly and they are toddler friendly as well.

Google
Seated immediately as walk-ins for Friday late lunch, fast service, food was *chef's kiss* delicious. Didn't realize it was Australian inspired until I read the other reviews, it was certainly better than most American standard fayre.

I recently went here for lunch on a Sunday with a couple of my friends. The server was nice but didn’t talk much though (I understand because it was lunch hour on a weekend). We had inside seating with no reservation but were able to be seated within 10 minutes. Food taste was great. However, the portion you get for the price you’re paying was not worth it. I had the brekky muffuletta which again tasted great but it was $17 for what looked like the equivalent of 1/3 of a normal sandwich. My friends tried the breakfast burrito and the smashed avocado toast in which they said were average for the price point and could’ve made it at home instead.

Google
The gentle bustling energy of this place was irresistible- as soon as my nine year old peeked in she didn’t want to go anywhere else! I was worried the menu didn’t have anything basic enough for her, but she tried the harissa chicken (not spicy) and absolutely loved it. Sourdough toast and a smoothie rounded it out for a perfect kid friendly meal that introduced some new flavors. They were very accommodating for my food allergies, and the staff was all around so nice and helpful. The kid is already planning our next trip there!

Google
I took away a star because the noise level was a little high so I felt like I was shouting, and in the restroom, there were two table chairs stocked up on top of each other. Not sure why those extras, possibly, needed to be in the restroom. Otherwise I loved loved loved the food. Truly delicious. Great casual setting, server and host were welcoming. I had the salmon bowl and berry smoothie, these were soooo delicious.

Google
The atmos is a bit small so it feels a bit noisy; The açaí bowl was the best from what we ordered. The croissant was not that crispy kind. And I would suggest that the lemon poppyseed waffle to shared between 2.

Google
The oxtail wrap was so tender and juicy, loved it. The expresso cream on the banana cake was pretty good. Also the brownie was interesting.

Yelp
Came around 9:30a on Saturday, it's pretty empty. You definitely don't need a reservation if you come that early. Yummy healthy food, love the crunchy quinoa, flavorful mushrooms, and the added kimchi/chili oil. Minus 1 star since the drip coffee came in such a small size! Each refill also costs $1. The table base can use a little cleaning, they're sticky and my shoes kept getting stuck to it.
google avatar

Yelp
Very good casual food. Also reasonably priced. We had a fancy chai (this is the only over-priced item), the chicken bowl (good portion, filling, flavorful, seemed healthy), and some breakfast dish that its name I ccan't emember (but was good) :) They did charge us for a piece of bread requested for the breakfast item. That was annoying. Oh well.

Yelp
Amazing place! I have visited Two hands every time in in NYC, no matter the occasion of travel, work of leisure. Their iced coffee is so good and their brekky even better! I love their avocado toasts, so delicious. Staff is always friendly, though at times the wait is long as this place popular we don't mind the wait since we like it. Sometimes it can get crowded but overall its always a nice experience.

Yelp
I recently visited Two Hands, a spot my friend recommended, and I'm glad I did. We stopped by in the morning after a run and enjoyed an avocado toast and a veggie burrito. Both dishes were a decent size and quite satisfying. The restaurant itself is charming, with about 5-6 tables, giving it a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The service was excellent. I definitely enjoyed my time there and would recommend it to others.

Yelp
Stumbled into this place and what a stumble it was! I was pleasantly surprised with everything we ordered. I got the chicken salad sandwich. That was absolutely joyful. My wife got the chicken salad bowl. She was pleasantly happy the main event and absolute shocker to this meal was a delicious slice of their banana bread topped with an espresso mascarpone it was a taste treat like no other and definitely a staple that you must get, if you get to stumble into this place.

Yelp
Every now and then I stumble on a brunch place that I know will become a staple. Two hands is exactly that sort of place. I can't believe I didn't stop by earlier even though it has been on my list to try. This location is small. There is some seating inside, plus there is a covered eating area outside plus some seats on the sidewalk. I happened to come by relatively early so we were seated immediately. The service was excellent and the recommendations were on-point. Here is what we ordered: - coffee with brown sugar cinnamon syrup. It was delicious 5/5 - breakfast burrito- this was really good and the dipping sauce on the side is excellent 5/5 - seasonal scramble- it was sooooo good!! It has fresh peas and feta and lemon 5/5 - banana walnut bread- it was so good, especially with the espresso mascarpone on top 5/5 - lemon poppyseed waffle- as someone who is normally not a fan of lemon desserts or poppyseed, I am surprised I liked this so much 5/5 I don't recall giving a 5/5 to every food I had- so this place definitely stands out.
google avatar

Andrea S.

Yelp
I liked the avocado toast, but it was kind of annoying to be seated next to the restroom especially because the seat is basically in front of the restroom. The lavender vanilla latte was good though.
google avatar

Isabel L.

Yelp
Great ambiance and cute little spot for brunch. The wait staff is nice and the food is pretty good for the price point. Stopped here for some fuel before heading into soho and really enjoyed the vibe! I got the BEK roll, but it came with spinach instead of kale for some reason. The bacon was a bit on the burnt side, but overall a decent breakfast sandwich.
google avatar

Yelp
Was supposed to go with a friend on a Sunday morning but she had to cancel last minute so I went by myself instead. They were super accommodating about the reservation, and I noticed a couple of other people eating alone as well! The mood was very lively. It was a little cramped but not too bad. Food was good - very standard burrito and banana bread. Didn't feel like the banana bread was super life changing but good nonetheless. Would come back to try the drinks next time

Yelp
Came with with reservations for brunch on a Sunday around noon and was delighted by how bright and airy the decor is. Definitely on the trendier side, but still comfortable and warm. I ordered an iced taro latte and the lemon poppyseed waffle. The taro latte was on the sweeter side, but I still enjoyed it. The waffle was fun to eat, with the cream and strawberries. It was pretty filling too. Unfortunately the bathroom was out of service while we were there, but the rest of our experience was great! The servers were friendly and attentive (almost too attentive though, with two different employees asking if we were ready to order within minutes of each other). I would definitely come back and enjoy brunch with my friends or even as a solo date.
google avatar

Shirin B.

Yelp
Came here since I heard they have a good breakfast burrito and they definitely do! I'd come here for brunch and order the burrito in a heartbeat. The chicken sandwich was interesting since there were bites of fruit with a curry flavor but I did like the sandwich overall. Food came out quick and we were seated quick!
google avatar

Yelp
Two Hands is a lovely place to do a summer brunch with friends! I would recommend getting a reservation so you're not stuck waiting, especially during weekend brunch hours. We ate outside during peak hours, so the service could be a bit slow at times (eating outside was pet-friendly, though!) I got the Brassicas Bowl with chicken and found it incredibly filling, beautiful to look at, and light. I thought my meal was great value overall.

Yelp
Very very cute spot, perfect for a relaxing lunch to catch up with a friend or a lunch time time. I can in for a working lunch, sat in the corner & was happily given the WiFi to do some computer work while I was eating. I am going to start this by saying I had a good time here but I definitely ordered wrong. I got a Miso Mushroom Bowl. Reading it, I thought it was a warm grain bowl but the only thing that came warm was the mushrooms so it was kind of awkward at first when I was confused. I got the dressing on the side & it also came with chili oil that I took advantage of. Highlight was my matcha latte, very tasty, higher quality of matcha then most places & it came with a cute design.
google avatar

Audrey D.

Yelp
Cute spot. Came here for an earlier brunch and was able to get a table right away. The staff here are very kind and attentive. I got the acai bowl, which was delicious. Probably not the best thing for breakfast, but it was the perfect thing to cool off from the hot weather. My mom ordered the b.e.k roll, which was great as well. I'd skip their matcha lattes, nothing to write home about and since they're an Aussie cafe the coffee is probably better. As with all brunch spot in the city, this place isn't cheap. But if youre looking for a nice place to get away from the hustle and bustle, Two hands is nice.
google avatar

Meagan K.

Yelp
We came at prime brunch time to place a to-go order for banana bread (it was packed - be sure to make a reservation in advance!) The banana bread looks better than it tastes but it didn't take long for them to bring it out.
google avatar

Yelp
A cute restaurant to check out if you're in the area. The space is well decorated - perfect for instagram photos. A nice place if you're craving something healthy. I opted for the Miso Mushroom Bowl and thought it was pretty yummy. Super umami as the bowl is filled with mushrooms. There is kimchi in this bowl so be warned that if you have a low spice tolerance. One thing I didn't like about the place is that seating is limited and the tables are kinda small with no reservation. This is a walk-in only establishment.
google avatar

Gabrielle H.

Yelp
Yum! A catfood sandwich! Truly one of the most miserable steak sandwiches I've ever encountered. The bread was nice, but the contents of the sandwich were absolutely foul. I gave my huband my second half of my foul sandwich for his side salad. The salad was leggy, but ok. Service was fine, but it did not make up for the miserable food.

Yelp
Very busy spot in Noho. We went at peak brunch/lunch hour and sat on the sidewalk - chilly. There is an outdoor seating shed but that was full. The service was good- everyone was polite. Food was nothing remarkable. We had the avocado toast and the breakfast burrito. Breakfast burrito- tasty but not worth the price. Avocado toast- decent, not memorable. Overall I would not come back. This place is completely popular simply because of location and vibes. It is certainly a sceney spot, but do not expect excellent food.

Yelp
Drinks: some are 10/10 Food: good/ok depending on the dish Food: The miso mushroom bowl was cold, a bit too spicy, and a bit bland for the price. I can't speak to the other dishes ordered but the table consensus was that half were good and half were ok. Drinks: - strawberry matcha latte - taro latte - coffee drink (I forget which) The strawberry matcha is good. I wish there was more of a strawberry flavor, and I can't tell whether purée or syrup is used. Taro latte was amazing, just the right amount of sweet and creamy. 10/10 would have again. The coffee drink was great too. Service: Service was great. This place was packed when I went with friends, but we were still seated quickly despite not having a reservation. Staff members were friendly.

Yelp
A lovely brunch spot! I've visited Two Hands in Austin and I was excited to see that there was a location in NYC! The service was very quick and we ate on the heated patio! We ordered the seasonal scramble, BEK roll and of course the banana bread! I would highly recommend stopping by!

Yelp
I went to brunch with my friends to Two Hands. The location is great. It's definitely small on the inside but they have outside seating as well. The menu isn't super big and I was definitely disappointed when I wanted to order this sweet waffle item and they said they didn't have it even though it was 10am ... anyways I got the mimosa craft with my friends, a decaf ice coffee (which they charged extra for the decaf..) and the breakfast burrito which was really tasty. I was also there with my vegan friend and there definitely options for her which I know she appreciated.

Yelp
I had high hopes for this restaurant, but sadly I wasn't impressed. I love an Australian cafe so I was excited to try this out, but there wasn't really anything special. I got the salmon quinoa bowl. It came with cucumbers, hummus, egg, salmon, avocado, jicama, and crunchy veggies. I'm honestly not sure what the crunchy veggies were but it was not that good. They were huge thin slices of it and felt like I was eating a garnish. It made it hard to take a bite of everything at once because of how big it was sliced so I ended up having to cut it down into smaller pieces but I still wasn't a fan of the flavor. I also didn't really like how they cut the jicama into medium sized cubes, that also made it harder to eat everything. The salmon was cooked well and wasn't dry and the avocado was nice and ripe. The egg was also cooked perfect! The service was also pretty slow. It took a while for a server to come over to take my order and then it took a really long time for someone to clean my table and bring me my bill. By the time I had finished my meal, I probably waited 20 min before someone came and gave me my receipt. It's pretty loud inside since it's a small-ish setting and they had some large parties inside. They also have outdoor dining and bar seating. It was pretty busy on the weekend.

Yelp
*HIDDEN GEM IN NOHO* Officially just became one my top fave NYC brunches. From the moment Leo greeted my two besties & me at the door this Saturday, had a great feeling. And I was right. Service- friendly/fast. Vibe- busy/fun. Mimosas- so yummy. Food- delish/insta worthy. ENJOY! -Barri

Yelp
From the very first glance, Two Hands Cafe, located at the intersection of Broadway and Bleecker, is easy to miss, but once inside, you'll find a gem radiating warmth and charm. Despite tables being situated close together, the proximity does little to diminish the comforting and lively aura. It is an ideal place for a leisurely ladies' brunch date! I was treated to a visually and gastronomically delightful Taro Latte and Acai Bowl. The latte, an enchanting purple hue, brought joy in every sip, while the acai bowl, a harmonious blend of fresh, sweet fruits and crunchy seeds, was possibly the best I've ever had. I had hesitations, as previous reviewers' images portrayed it as resembling ice cream scoops, but it was wholly satisfying. It was just beautiful and the texture was perfect. A return visit found me facing closed doors (they closed @ 4PM that day), much to my disappointment given that I'm not local and I was craving it again. But the anticipation of revisiting is high, and I look forward to relishing the aesthetically pleasing and flavor-packed offerings of Two Hands Cafe on my next city trip!

Yelp
Solid place for brunch, although nothing too remarkable. I got their breakfast bowl which came with eggs, avocado, sweet potato, roasted tomato, beet relish, and some greens. It was very aesthetic but not very flavorful, although I guess I shouldn't have expected much as it's one of their healthier options. I would highly recommend their banana bread, which is topped with a tiramisu-flavored cream. Goes perfect with coffee and was very unique.

Matheus G.

Yelp
Delicious food. Nice service. It gets busy during weekends, make sure you reserve in advance.

Yelp
One of the biggest gripes I have about shopping in SoHo is the lack of options for healthy fast-casual food. Sure there's Ruby's and Cava nearby at Mulberry/Spring St but seating can be hard to come by. I'd much rather walk a little further up to Two Hands where there are fresh options for breakfast or lunch and plenty of seating, both indoor and out. The service is always great and the playlist never misses. Some of the menu items I've tried include the lemon poppyseed waffle ($17) which is served with a bergamot maple syrup that really elevates the dish, a breakfast roll ($16) which is served with pickled shallots and a delicious spicy aioli that complements the creaminess of the scrambled eggs and avocado, and the açaí bowl ($14) which does come with a granola that contains almonds and pistachios in there, so beware people with tree nut allergies! Their açaí base is not my favorite; it tastes a little different from what I'm used to and I'm not sure if it's because they use a different sweetener but I would recommend it if you like less sweet açaí bowls. The toasted pepitas and bee pollen are a nice addition to the shredded coconut and berries. I haven't had the chance to try their bowls or salads but if it's as solid as their breakfast menu I have no doubt I'll enjoy them.

Yelp
So happy we found this cute little brunch/lunch/coffee spot while wandering around the city. After spending the morning with my friend visiting from out of town, we wanted to find one last place to grab some food and coffee before parting ways. After a quick Yelp search (duh) we found Two Hands. Adorable and very comfy inside and the staff didn't mind too much when we needed to add a third person unexpectedly. Loved how much light was shining in on a very beautiful nyc day as we were sitting by the window. We got a couple cappuccinos that really wonderfully hit the spot and we both got the Green Salmon Goddess which was a big salad with avocado and salmon. So I thought everything tasted really fresh, the salmon was cooked very well and there was so much avocado. But, it just didn't have enough flavor. I had to ask for a lot of extra dressing to douse my salad in and even added salt (I literally never add salt). My friend felt the same way and even after all the added dressing was still not a fan. I think it just needed a little extra something to be great, but as is, I was a little disappointed. I would still return and try other things from their menu, or even just for coffees and lite bites.

Yelp
Really loved this spot for brunch. Not only was the food delicious, but I was incredibly impressed with the presentation. The Acai bowl was one of the best I've had in the city, and they made a great cappuccino. They have almond milk too! Despite being understaffed, our waitress was kind and attentive.
google avatar

Maddy A.

Yelp
Great quick breakfast! Make a resy if you can ahead of time. Açaí bowl was huge and delicious! Banana walnut bread was great & the espresso mascarpone was a nice touch. Now the tomato toast was fantastic! The flavors meshed together so well and the bread was perfectly toasted. Definitely must try!
google avatar

Eric H.

Yelp
Good brunch spot with decent options. It's cramped at times when it's busy like most typical NYC brunch spots. The service at the time was spotty...no one even gave us a menu or a QR code to access the menu. We just walked over to another table and snagged the QR code. After a while, we finally got water but luckily by that time, we were ready to order. The food was delicious and so was the latte. The pulled chicken bowl was packed with lots of delicious flavors and a mix of textures. The salmon bowl was packed with all the right things and was a great combo. Location-wise, this is a little bit off of Broadway meaning it's not in the middle of all the chaos but neatly tucked away and quiet enough to enjoy your meal inside or outside.

Yelp
super cute place to try in soho!! drinks were fine, lemon poppyseed waffle was a bit dry but overall good experience

Yelp
Such a cute brunch spot! Came after a workout with some friends and refueled in the best way. They both got the egg special and I got the breakfast burrito. I didn't love that adding bacon to my breakfast burrito was an extra $6. All dishes were good, but not the best brunch I've ever had. A solid brunch spot still.
google avatar

Emily W.

Yelp
Really great food! I ordered the breakfast burrito and my table shared a banana bread. Both were delicious.

Ezekiel C.

Yelp
A great restaurant we come to multiple times a week. The service is great. Everyone working for Leo is wonderful. Best coffee around. Best açaí bowl. Best breakfast burrito. Best everything.

Yelp
Had a delicious breakfast here. I got the avocado toast and my boyfriend got the breakfast burrito. Great portions of food. I loved my almond latte they made me. The staff was friendly and accommodating too! I'd go back to this cute cafe next time I'm in the city.

Lindsay S.

Yelp
I cant get enough of this place I'm so happy I decided to revisit. My husband and I stopped in the Noho location and wanted to try something new. We were introduced to the oxtail wrap, at first we were a bit leery because we never heard of it before. We decided to share one to try it and ended up ordering two more. It was so delicious I don't know what is in this wrap or how to explain the flavor but it was amazing.

Kobsupang R.

Yelp
Recently stopped by Two Hands for brunch and ordered the Smashed Avo Toast - avocado, pickled shallots, pepitas, sesame seeds, and pickled chilies on sourdough with Poached Egg ($15) and Sencha Green Tea ($4.50). Pretty decent prices compared to other restaurants in the area. I originally was looking to have some soup but they didn't have it so I settled for what I mentioned above. Surprise surprise, I really enjoyed my meal along with the tea! This place can get crowded super quickly but I was lucky the first time I came and this time as well without a reservation. All in all, loved the food and the friendly & prompt service. Will definitely come back soon!

Yelp
Always consistently good brunch/lunch food! Yum. The day I was there the poor waitress was running around taking care of all the tables solo. I felt bad for her!

Yelp
COCKROACH IN MY FOOD!!! Do yourself a favor and do not come here. I found a giant dead cockroach in my quinoa. Management was barely apologetic and overall, handled the situation very poorly. Immediately following the discovery of the cockroach, a server took my phone number and told me a manager would call me. 48 hours later, nobody had called. My friends and I decided to revisit the restaurant in person to follow up. Unsurprisingly, it was very busy and looked like business as usual in there. Several of the same servers were working. One of them called the manager on the spot and handed her phone to me. The conversation was not very reassuring. I was provided with an excuse about how the restaurant has been using new suppliers. Since the new watercress comes triple washed, they didn't think they had to wash before serving. To me, that sounds like a measly excuse and does not explain how a cockroach ends up in the food served to a customer. I was offered a free meal, but declined as I was leaving town early the next day and I think most normal people would have hesitated to dine at the restaurant again after what happened. The manager still took down my email address and promised to send me something; again, I have received nothing in my inbox (72 hours later). The situation was truly abhorrent, and I have since realized how much I underreacted compared to the general public, and how much the Two Hands team took advantage of my graciousness. I tried to be understanding because I know how difficult the food & restaurant industry can be and accidents can happen to anyone, but how the team handled the aftermath of the situation has been truly concerning, disappointing, and disturbing. The fact that I myself had to personally follow up in order to receive any sort of addressing of the situation really demonstrated to me that the team did not take the incident seriously and seemingly were trying to brush it under the rug and resume business as usual.

Yelp
What a lovely place for brunch! The inside is rather small but super cute and they make great use of the space. Unless you make a reservation, there will probably always be a wait. I waited 90 minutes on a Sunday afternoon. I ordered a passion fruit hard seltzer to start instead of my usual mimosa. It was absolutely delicious! It was super refreshing. I ordered the weekend royale special which came with poached eggs, smoked salmon, and avocado on sourdough bread with a side salad. It tasted really delicious. Salmon tasted fresh. Eggs weren't exactly poached though. They were overcooked. My sister ordered the mushroom quinoa bowl which was really good! The star of the show was definitely the banana bread that came with walnuts and espresso mascarpone. The mascarpone was not too strong. The bread was nice and moist. Overall, I would return. I had a lovely experience here!

Yelp
Brekky Pannacotta: I really enjoyed this as a snack. It definitely won't get you full. The fruits were fresh and sweet. The Passionfruit was tangy and a bit on the acidic side. Aesthetically pleasing to look at. I wished there was a bit more Pannacotta. Not sure I would want to pay $15 again for it though. Banana Bread: Get this to share because it's a pretty large serving size. My banana bread was pretty dense and a bit dry. I really enjoyed the espresso mascarpone with the toasted buckwheat combo which was divineeee. The honey was a bit much and made this too sweet for me. The bread itself is likely to get you full.

Yelp
I randomly walked by after a supposed appointment that wasn't scheduled at Mount Sinai around the corner. I was going to go to Levain to get some cookies but then I saw this cute place and wanted real breakfast and not cookies for breakfast. I was greeted with a smile at the door and was seated immediately. I was tired and hungry...more like a sleepy hangry. I love ginger so I ordered Fresh start. It has ginger apple and lemon . Ginger is also anti inflammatory. It was not too overpowering. To wake up, I also had a latte. The coffee art made me smile. I felt the love . Avocado Toast was tasty. Most people would order it with a poached egg but I don't like yolks--especially runny yolks. So I ordered my egg over hard. I asked for egg white only but it came with the yolk. I was in a better mood after coffee, so I just cut the yolk out and didn't make a fuss. I didn't know the avocado roast had parsley sprouts and peppers on it. I had to pick those out too. Although I deconstructed the avocado toast, it was yummy. But I was still not satisfied. My server, Claudia, had recommended the frozen Açaí bowl. I decided to order that too. It had fresh fruit: bananas, strawberries, blueberries, granola, and nuts. It was DELICIOUS! And it hit the spot. Claudia was super nice and attentive. She is a keeper. I walked in grumpy but I left happy and satisfied. I will definitely come back. I already recommended this place to my friends and family.

Yelp
Delicious sandwich on fresh bread and with really nice simple side salad. Was quick and efficient, nice decor, good service. Would certainly return!

Yelp
Good brunch spot! We were able to get seated in 30 minutes :) the food was good and I mostly went there for a ricotta bread and it didn't disappoint

Yelp
my party of 6 came at around 1:30pm for brunch/lunch without a res on a Sunday and got seated within 45 min. service was super quick and efficient! I got the acai bowl which was $15- really reasonable portion and I enjoyed the acai (a bit sweet). No complaints mostly, except one of the poached eggs in the eggs dish came hard boiled. quite unlucky!! :/ also would not recommend the market place dish- scrambled eggs were rubbery... overall nice vibe and would maybe come here again to try the other dishes.

Yelp
I came here on a weekend for brunch. Overall, this is a cute spot. The food was really good, and the service moved quickly. We didn't have any issues getting help from waiters. It's also decorated really nicely. I did have two complaints though. First, I have never been to a restaurant with such tiny water glasses. It's like they had regular glasses and then cut off the top 75%. Second, it was hot. It's summer. You have to turn on the AC!

Yelp
We came here for brunch and my rating will be based on our brunch experience. Food: There were a few vegetarian options and they were all options I personally would have wanted to get. I ordered the Miso Mushroom Bowl and it was delicious! It was definitely a bit spicer than I expected but I love spicy food so I didn't mind. We also got the banana walnut bread to share. It was sweeter than expected but we had saved it for dessert, so that worked. I loved the addition of toasted buckwheat. I also ordered a hot chocolate as it was a very cold day. The drink came out the right temperature with a pretty design and it wasn't too sweet which I always appreciate. Next time I definitely want to try the Avocado toast. Ambiance: It's cute little set up. Definitely feels cozy. The bench seats don't have cushions which according to my pregnant friend was tough on her back and bum. Service: The staff was very attentive and our food came out pretty quickly. The only thing I will comment on is the host service. We came in 10 minutes early to our reservation as asked and we were told to wait. We didn't mind, we were early. However, when we asked if we could wait at the bar area that was empty we were told no and we'd have to wait outside. It was 40deg and windy and we had a pregnant woman with us and my foot was broken. I think in certain instances like this it would have been nice if they had made an exception and let us wait inside. lol

Yelp
We met a couple friends here for brunch yesterday and had a solid experience. Great iced coffees, good food, and a nice, pleasant atmosphere. The space is bright and casual, and it's good that we made a reservation in advance because it is tiny inside. Service is not attentive (long stretches of nobody available), but it is decent once it arrives. We got the brassicas salad with pulled chicken and the miso mushroom bowl to share. The brassicas was really good: a nice variety of ingredients that all complemented each other well, and even though the pulled chicken was too dry, it had a nice seasoning that we enjoyed. One of us really did not care for the mushroom miso bowl, but the other one liked it well enough, so who knows. Our daughter was very content with her lemon poppyseed waffle, which we sampled and also found to be delicious. FYI the mascarpone cream is more like a frosting than something light and airy. We're happy to have given this place a go, but wouldn't exactly classify it as a "must try" in NYC. Also, apparently they have an Austin location??! Never heard of her! Maybe we'd try it, maybe not.
