Two Hogs Winery

Small business, clean and great company. We had a GREAT experience at two Hogs Winery. The very knowledgeable owner Ann helped my family have a great time taste testing her home made wine. I HIGHLY recommend stopping and taste testing these great wines. This was an awesome stop during our trip to Maine and would highly suggest taking a stop as this cute small business winery. My sister in law and I are big wine girls and we have never had wine that tasted quite like this. 🍷 Cheers!!

Ann is adorable and so knowledgeable and passionate about her wine. The tasting room is so cozy and inviting. We stopped in on the way to a birthday weekend girls trip and it was a great surprise and start to the weekend! Thank you Ann!

Amazing wine and the owner Ann is very knowledgeable. The wine tasting was the best, you keep the glass and she has you try everything she makes. AMAZING!!

Friendly, helpful staff. Good selection of locally made wines. They had free snacks to enjoy with the wine. Mostly cheeses & fruit which was good. Really small building tho & was really loud.

The wine tasting was delicious. The owner is very nice and explains the wines well. Will definitely be going to get more wine.

Best winery in Maine. I have been here a few times now and the wines never disappoint. The cranberry blast is amazing and I always grab one or two bottles while I'm there. The owner will do a tasting with you and she offers a sampling of all her wines for free... Let me repeat, you can try all her wines for free! I highly recommend this spot for some fruit wines and get to support a local business.

Stopped by as a way to fill up a rainy Saturday and was amazed by the selection and quality of everything. The owner was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the wine. Would highly recommend.

This is my favorite winery on the Maine wine trail. The owner is down to earth, friendly and loves to share information about her wine making process. If no one is there just give her a call. In the off season call ahead to see what she has stored. There are so many delightful wines to try. Don't forget to stop in for a complimentary tasting of all her wonderful wines. The cranberry blast is my favorite. It is like thanksgiving in a bottle, perfectly balanced tart and sweet port. The lemon is wonderful, especially with champagne. The raspberry is a crisp and tart wine. The Merlot has less oak and finished subtly dry. I'm not usually a Merlot fan but this was lovely. The blueberry has a fresh picked blueberry flavor with a hint of sweet.

I don't live in the area but love to visit local wineries.. With 13 fruit wine samples, there will surely be something that you will end up taking home..

My husband and I visited the winery on our vacation in Maine. We had our two small toy poodles and Ann was incredibly accommodating. The wines are all excellent. She does this amazing tasting session where you get to sample all the wines. This was a highlight of our trip and we will definitely be back.

Located down an approx. 2-mile dirt/rock road sits the Two Hogs Winery tasting room in a small, but modern shack. The service is pleasant. The wines here are fruit wines, with the exception of a merlot. The sampling goes straight through the reds and whites (you're probably going to have about 10 samples on a given day) and is complimentary. Some examples of the fruit wines include lemon, raspberry, rhubarb, peach, strawberry, and blackberry - all supposedly fermented from those respective fruits. The wines are about $13 a bottle, with the exception of a stronger (higher alcohol content) cranberry dessert wine that's $15. This place is about 10 miles from Augusta, check it out!

What a wonderful place! The owner winemaker is a lovely woman. Definately worth the stop.

My husband and I stopped in to Two Hogs winery for the first time, in fact it was our first time to any winery. We had a great time I had he tasting of her 15 wines and a glass for $5.00 and my husband had a larger sampling of 1 wine and a glass for the same price. we went home with 2 bottles of Ann's wine...we will be back Thank you Ann your knowledge helped us understand wines a lot more!
