Fabulous food - so delicious. And so many choices, including for vegans! They have both brown and white rice, and both whole wheat and white tortillas. Zillions of fillings, most of which are plant based so a vegan can easily make a huge, delicious and satisfying tortilla or bowl. Highly recommended!

Google
We were looking for a build-your-burrito place nearby and this was it. The food was good, and all the typical options were there (rice, beans, meats, etc.). There were some unique options as well, such as a Philly version that had mushrooms and a Pad Thai option as well. We went with our kids, and they didn't have a "kid size" listed on the menu, but sharing would have worked. We opted for a Taco Tuesday special instead since it was a good price for two large tacos. There was no fountain machine for drinks. They only had bottled drinks available. The atmosphere was a little lackluster. There was no music playing and not much in the way of decor. Table space is limited as well. It seems like a place people mostly grab to-go.

Google
Too bad there isn't a choice for zero stars. Me, a 13 year old child could probably put together a burrito that tastes better. The food cried for flavor. I had a couple bites and put it down in disgust. The customer service was absolutely the worst. Sorry if this was harsh but I feel it is deserved.

Google
Love this place. Stop at least once a week on my way to work. I usually get 2 meals out of my bowl well worth it

Google
We love Two Loco Guys! The food is tasty, portions are huge, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We've never had a bad experience here. Highly recommend!

Google
This place is awesome. Really good American style hard shell tacos, excellent wraps and bowls. The staff is super friendly, and they were amazingly accommodating to my vegan, dairy-allergic wife. This is a fantastic local business that I'll go out of my way to visit again. And, hey, Barre is actually a really sweet little town. A fun and friendly place to visit. Plenty of interesting history, good shopping, and great little cafes and restaurants. You should check it out.

My coworkers recently invited me to try Two Loco Guys for the first time, and it did not disappoint! This Mexican restaurant is a popular spot for lunch, and it’s easy to see why. We went on a Tuesday for Taco Tuesday, and the atmosphere was lively and welcoming. Despite the good-sized line, it moved quickly, and the staff was friendly and efficient. The decor has a fun and casual vibe that makes it a great place to hang out with friends or coworkers. For my meal, I created my own bowl with chicken, guacamole, queso, brown rice, black beans, cheese, lettuce, roasted corn, and jalapeño peppers. The flavors were incredible! Everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and perfectly balanced. I also loved the portion size – it was super filling and worth every penny. The service was excellent, with the team ensuring everyone was served quickly without feeling rushed. The overall experience was seamless, from ordering to finding a seat, even during a busy lunch rush. If you’re looking for delicious, customizable Mexican food with great portions and a vibrant ambiance, Two Loco Guys is the place to be. I’ll definitely be back!

Google
Great Place With AWESOME Customer Service! One Of The Ladies Working There Is Laid Back With Good Conversation, Made Me Feel Really Welcome While Making My Burritos 🌯 And The Burritos Are Soo GOOD!! Everything Is Fresh And You Have Soo Many Options To Choose From On How You Want It Made. It's also Clean Environment As Well! I HIGHLY Recommend Swinging Through Especially If You Just Want A Quick Burrito Fix Or Burrito Bowl.

Yelp
The food was delicious! The restaurant was clean. We sat near the window which was nice. The price was 35.00 which I thought was a lot for 2 people. We each got a burrito and a drink.

Yelp
A great find! We were all on really difficult diets and found this place to be perfect. Huge varieties of options to support veggie, paleo, and keto diets with no carbs and sugar. The bowls worked for us and the burrito for my son. Great spices and very flavorful

Yelp
The food is delicious and the price is decent. My new favorite place for a burrito! I will definitely come back.

Yelp
I did like this place. in tell I got charged a $27 tip. I didn't approve. When I tried to call to resolve my issue. No one would answer the phone. When I came to the establishment. I was told the phone hadn't worked in over a year. and the same similar thing happened to someone else a few days prior. when I asked for a refund, I was told they could not help me. I called the Barre Vermont police department. to make a report. They weren't very helpful. I feel this happened more than once to other people. And I don't want it to happen to anyone else. If you are from out of state and stop at this establishment. Be cautious of using a debit or credit card. I was charged the $27 tip three days after i visited the establishment if I wasn't able to drive there to try to resolve the issue no one was ever going to answer the phone.

Yelp
Thanks to some awesome reviews we had to check this place out!! Awesome customer service, answered my questions about salt in items for me (low sodium restrictions for me)! Very knowledgeable about their products and checked on one they weren't certain about! I really appreciated this after having to go to the ER already this month from one place lying about it! I got the pad Thai bowl with tofu with dressing on the side. It was delicious, all items were fresh and the combination tasted great! I had carrots & tomatoes with extra cilantro! The dressing was good and I used a little amount and it was perfect. Plus, a bonus had enough dressing left to use in other meals at home. My husband started with Jerk with tofu and with all the options it turned into a make it your own bowl! Only disappoint for him was the jerk wasn't a dressing or cooked into the tofu, it was a seasoning sprinkled on. Otherwise, he loved his as well! His bowl ended to be huge! They tri color chips were good, I tasted one and it was good. Husband said that the salsa was good and better than most places in VT. They had a nice selection of bottled drinks including Coke Zero which is hard to find in many restaurants. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and tables were nicely spaced out for these times. I didn't see hand sanitizers however I may have missed it. We will be back when in the area again!

Yelp
Large portions that are tasty with fresh ingredients and home made corn chips. Eat in or take out. I sometimes take out a brown and share it with a friend.

Yelp
I only regret that I haven't been here before! My husband and I went for the first time last Tuesday (4/25/23) and really enjoyed it. I had a southwestern chicken burrito and my husband had a chicken tikka masala burrito. Both were really tasty, but we agreed that the chipotle ranch on mine put it over the top. The tikka masala was a little mild in flavor--we prefer our Indian food strong and spicy--but still good. My burrito fell apart a little while I was eating because it was stuffed to the brim, but I didn't mind--I just asked for a container and finished it with a fork. The restaurant was comfortable enough, not fancy. Unfortunately they have a separate bathroom down the hall and you have to ask for the key, which is less convenient. We will definitely go back to try the other burrito flavors!

Yelp
Some of the best food in town! Great mission-style burritos with lots of options and fresh ingredients. Service is always good!

Yelp
I wish I took pictures but I didn't even think about it at the time. The food was amazing! I got a ground beef bowl with a variety of toppings. My fiancé got the same but in a burrito and they pack the burrito so full it tends to fall apart so be aware of that. It's somewhat like chipotle. You choose your protein, rice, beans and toppings. Salsa and chips are also given. It can be in a bowl or burrito. I wish the containers given weren't plastic but that doesn't affect my decision for five stars. Prices are fair and the portions given are great. The service was fast and the women serving were nice. The ambiance was very quiet and relaxed. My fiancé and I aren't locals but if we find our way back through we will definitely be coming back.

Christine Y.

Yelp
Amazing food! Pleasant atmosphere! Friendly staff. Food was fresh and there was a plentiful variety of options to choose from. Generous serving. Very tasty and filling.
google avatar

Ronald B.

Yelp
TBH you can easily make at home what they make here. Definitely didn't feel like the quality of the meal did not match the cost.

Amanda S.

Yelp
Delicious and generous portions! Monday is the deal. The Southern bowl or burrito any size is $6. We stumbled across this little gem while visiting the area. Some of our group got chicken and some got pork. Both were delicious. Gals got bowls, guys got burritos.

Bev D.

Yelp
Delicious, made fresh and awesome service. What you wish chipotle was. Local goodness at its finest. Unassuming ambiance but fast and delicious!

Yelp
Be careful of this place like Ben said below. We stopped in to support a local business after the flood here. Food was good but worst customer service I have ever had. The store was advertising $6 burritos any size as the special which we ordered 3 of. 2 were actually made exactly as the example which says has to be ordered that way which was fine. The 3rd the sign says salsa but doesn't specify so I asked can I have the pineapple salsa to which I was told that's fine. Upon paying though we were being overcharged by over $10 because only 1 rang up as the special price because I changed from basic salsa and because we chose to add guacamole which up front we were told would be $2 extra which we agreed to but didn't realize that would make our $6 burrito become an $11 plus $2 because it wasn't like the sign. We literally argued with the incompetent staff member how this was false advertising and not right because we asked all the questions of the changes and agreed to the additional charges on one and was told yes no problem on the salsa. She argued for almost 5 minutes holding up the line and I almost told them to keep the order and I would have walked out without paying but she finally she changed it and we could eat. Customers are always right and you need to run an honest shop. I took a picture of our total on the machine and our signed receipt but I will be checking for added charges later because the workers seem like the type that would do that. Food is good but I wouldn't recommend this place for the hassle

David N.

Yelp
Really enjoyed my meal and speed of service was great. Really like the variety of menu options. Will go back as other things I want to try.
google avatar

Edward S.

Yelp
The food I ordered was outstanding! Ordered a Buffalo wrap on wheat! No rice or beans, but added Jalapeños! So good, so filling and makes me want another! Will definitely come back for more!

Yelp
Adding a star. After several years I decided to try TLG again and have gotten it a few times over the last month or so. I wasn't initially impressed with the specialty burritos they offer, but I've taken a shine to the traditional one. Other than adding cilantro I get it straight off the menu as-is. I would still like deeper base seasonings to the meat options, but it's better than any Chipotle burrito I've ever had. The service is also still excellent. In and out in a few minutes.
google avatar

Simranjit D.

Yelp
Fast, easy, and delicious. Restaurant has a nice ambiance and staff is courteous. I had the chicken bowl, with all the veggies, and Tika Masala.
google avatar

Anthony K.

Yelp
Good food, good prices, and quick service. This place is essentially a Chipotle without the booze.

Nancy C.

Yelp
Great food and love the fact you can choose what goes into your bowl. Quick and price is reasonable.

Brandon K.

Yelp
This place was unexpectedly GREAT. This is the first time I've ever been in Barre, and if it ends up being the last time, I'll die knowing I've experienced some of the best food Barre (naw, the US) has to offer.
google avatar

Justin D.

Yelp
Great place if you're looking for something different in Barre. Food was fresh and the portions were good. Wish they had a few more choices on the menu. Rice was a little tough but I think we got the bottom of the pot. Overall great supper. We would definitely return in the future.
google avatar

Shanda D.

Yelp
In downtown Barre, this is the quickest place to get your lunch or dinner. It's way better than the Chipotle conveyor belt, with much more flavor choices and appeal! So far I've tried: The Tika Masala bowl (Yasss), The Jerk (Hmmm, not my kind of jerk), and the Thai (I'm loving it)! I cannot afford to eat lunch here everyday with the average cost being $10 for almost anything! Unless you're a vegetarian, you will not eat here cheap! Even the prices of the small burrito, are a little steep, but buying a bowl is enough for seconds, or to share with a friend! So the bowl is worth the investment! Why not 5 stars: I asked if they had a rewards club, and I was told NOPE. And that I shouldn't look for one in future. With these kinds of prices, I would think they'd want people coming back.... You'd think after spending at least $100 they could give one for free! I feel this could be my newest addiction, and I just hope it doesn't break my bank.
google avatar

Alexis D.

Yelp
When you're looking for something different from the usual food in the area, this place is worth checking out. Burritos are very good sized and if you go in, you get to build it as you see fit. They have specials pretty much daily (steak and shrimp are my favorites) and I can't live without Taco Tuesday. Prices are very reasonable and you rarely have to wait. I recommend stopping in next time you're looking for a delicious lunch.

Yelp
My toddler is a picky eater. It's been difficult to make foods that he would eat, but the staff at Two Loco Guys were accommodating and make him the cutest tiny burritos that he always finishes: every nutrient he needs daily in one little package.

Logan B.

Yelp
Best burritos around!! Love the burrito bowls! We are so lucky to have such a great place to go in central Vermont!
google avatar

Max A.

Yelp
person with short hair working the front at 1 pm was so delightful! thank you sweet human
google avatar

Rich M.

Yelp
Awesome, relevant, simple, fast, fresh, value. What more could you ask! Plenty of parking in front or back. Friendly staff and clean!
google avatar

Colin P.

Yelp
I work right next door to this place and I have eaten here about 10 or 15 times. I will say the food is usually good! I tend to always get chicken. Their other meats are however very good. (I wish they served bacon all the time) I will say however this place seems to be different every time I go. Some days the food is excellent other days it seems bland and mediocre. However I always leave full. Their salsa I thought was terrible. I do suggest checking it out though!
google avatar

Marcella W.

Yelp
We were looking for a Mexican place when dropping by Barre off the highway, and Two Loco Guys fit the bill. It has a very similar ordering system to Chipotle, where you choose whether you want a burrito or bowl and then order the fillings and toppings you want while the person behind the counter assembles it for you. Unlike Chipotle, this place attempts some Asian fusion options with pad thai and tikka masala burritos/bowls. If you're a first time customer, they give you free chips, which were mediocre. I ordered the veggie tikka masala burrito, and I thought it tasted pretty good but wasn't super memorable. Not the most flavorful but the combo worked together well. Chipotle probably has the slight edge, but this was worth a visit.
google avatar

William F.

Yelp
Decent, basic burrito/bowl lunch restaurant. This place reminds me a lot of Boloco, which has since left VT entirely. The food is fine, as are the prices. Don't expect to be blown away, but Two Loco Guys definitely fills a need in this town.
google avatar

Kayla-Rose K.

Yelp
I love these burritos. LOVE. When you try and bite into a "Small" burrito it's too much.... can't do it. It's a burrito the size of an infants head, and that's a "small" They are delicious and made to order which is nice too. Unfortunately their massiveness makes them a little more expensive than I'm willing to pay for a dinner/lunch without some sort of drink, side dish etc to enjoy along with my burrito. I wish I could stop here more often, but if it's gotta be a "treat" for the price.
google avatar

Tom A.

Yelp
This place is great- but I always trust he staff - I usually say "make me something good" and they haven't failed me yet. They know what they are doign! I did have one burrito that was way too full of sour cream, but it was the only one that i didn't love.
google avatar

Sandra J.

Yelp
What quite surprised once I started to eat my chicken jerk bowl. As a newcomer passing through more directions at the onset would have been helpful, but the food was quite tasty!
google avatar

Chief A.

Yelp
I have tried a few wraps. My favorite two are the Pad Thai (I had shrimp) and the Southern (Chicken). They have an assortment of burrito/wraps of different cuisines you choose the meat or you can build your own. Everything is made to order and fresh. This was opened by the Cornerstone Pub + Kitchen owners who are great guys. You won't go wrong or hungry with then.
google avatar

Kate L.

Yelp
Always the best. I get the Southern bowl with chicken every time I go. The portion sizes are perfect. And the ratio of ingredients is right on. My most favorite thing to eat, ever!
google avatar

Jaren J.

Yelp
I nice little burrito joint tucked into Barre. They have very friendly staff and prepare your food will while still having fresh food. Not the best burrito shop around, but it is definitely quality and I would recommend it.
google avatar

Brett G.

Yelp
A little different from normal burrito joint...different in a good way. Expecting to see your normal build you own setup, they have that plus a long list of specialty bowls/burritos. I went with the pad Thai pork bowl. Cabbage, broccoli, peanut sauce make for a nice change of pace. Also on the board was a philly, southern, buffalo, teriyaki among others. Nice place in downtown Barre.
google avatar

Parker P.

Yelp
Very bland flavor. The pork tastes/has a texture like tuna. & it was not worth the cost. We got different things & neither of us really liked either of them.
google avatar

Tracey P.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this place since they opened and just haven't had the chance until today. I had a traditional bowl with pork, black beans, brown rice, and the usual other fillings, then added guac and pickled jalapenos. It was delicious! Filled with flavor and so stuffed with food, I will have enough for lunch tomorrow too. Every ingredient looked and tasted super fresh, and the pork was tender and juicy. Definitely a win! The only thing I think I'd like to see more of is perhaps a larger selection of hot sauces, but that's just bonus material there.

Keith L.

Yelp
It was alright. Food was ok. Price was high for smallish servings. Friendly staff. Not the best burritos I have ever had.
google avatar

Erika B.

Yelp
I have eaten here about five or six times now, and it's my favorite place to grab lunch in Barre during my work day. The portions are a good size (though sometimes inconsistent), and there are plenty of options. I can customize my order to have everything I want, and nothing I don't! I agree with another reviewer that some of the staff need a bit more training/experience, but the service is always friendly. Plenty of parking in back, too.

David C.

Yelp
Half lost and on our way back to Stanstead, Quebec, Canada, we found this place by accident. A local resident had recommended a sub place on main street, but we saw a sign for burritos on the way up. We were't expecting something delicious, but hadn't had much luck finding other food in the area after a busy day. We were impressed! Two Loco Guys is a delicious and fun little place. Between our large family (2 cars full), we all tried something different and loved it. Food was ready quickly (made in front of us) and tasted fresh. Service was friendly, and helped us get un-lost after! Happy for a good and healthy fast-food dinner experience.

Brittany B.

Yelp
So delicious and speedy! My favorite lunch spot in the barre area. So many different options for burritos or bowls with a large variety of fresh ingredients. I was hesitant on the specialty bowls, but they are delicious if you're not in the mood for Mexican!
google avatar

Danielle R.

Yelp
Just ate this for dinner. I had the southern, ground beef burrito on a white wrap. It was delicious! My boyfriend had the Cajun on wheat and he thought it was perfect. He was surprised the wrap did not fall apart and require a fork! :) This beats Moes and Juilos by a long shot. I will now just go to 2LG. I thought the staff was great and the food not only looked great but tasted fantastic! I will be recommending them to everyone!!!

Garima P.

Yelp
I recently moved to Vermont so I was looking for different restaurants to try out. I am a big fan of Chipotle so when I found this place, I was happy and excited to try it out. I got the traditional with chicken, guac and chips on the side. I like the chicken from chipotle better but otherwise the food was pretty good. They did have asian options like pad Thai and tikka masala which was quite intriguing. The staff was friendly which is always a plus. A decent place to try out!!

Landon R.

Yelp
This is an interesting place. If you are expecting a run of the mill Mexican burrito this place would get 2 stars. The reason it is getting 4 is because it is not your typical burrito place. Think of it more as specialty sandwiches that happen robe rolled in a burrito. I have tried 3 different types of speciality burrito and each has been good. Looking forward to trying some of the others.
google avatar

Shawn G.

Yelp
Just discovered this place. Nice location. Good food. Smiling faces. Kind servers. Great food for the price. 10/10 would eat here again. The service was professional.
google avatar

Ryan G.

Yelp
Had some time to kill in barre today waiting for a friend so I thought I'd check out 2 loco guys, what a disappointment! The chicken was tasty enough and the cilantro was fresh but besides that I was very unhappy with my "burrito". I say "burrito" because the first attempt at wrapping resulted in a split wrap and the second resulted in sour cream all over and the girl asking if I wanted a bowl (because it was not a burrito and I could not eat it without a bowl with me). Oh and the worst part you ask? The salsa, you would think at a burrito place this would be important! I got the "jerk style" burrito which had pineapple salsa and it literally looked like they dumped dole pineapple chunks in a container and served it as salsa, the regular salsa didn't look great either. Needless to say I won't be back to this place.
