Look Back at the Most Beautiful Twin Cities Restaurants to Open This Year | Eater Twin Cities

"I observed that the Bizarre Foods chef’s first major restaurant has had a rocky start, but the interior design sets the place up for fun: a tiki bar with two slushie machines and an entire dining room that sits under a cricket‑caged top." - Joy Summers

Upon entering we had a very good impression, elegant, sophisticated, spacious and comfortable, with friendly and attentive service. Without much waiting we were served and received with garlic bread on olive oil, while we placed our orders, which we were informed about the preparation times that really are not long (between 15 and 20 minutes). The portion size is more than sufficient and very good presentation. We only have two observations, both the meat and the chicken lack a little flavor with spices and a little more salt, although it is something that is easily added with salt and pepper at the table, but they can have a little more from the preparation. and the second observation is regarding the tomato paste, perhaps they are using canned tomato paste in the mixture and the flavor is different. In general it is a good place, with a good atmosphere and delicious food at a very good price.

Grand Reopening!!! The place looks bright and cheery. Food is excellent as always, plenty of food for a very affordable price. Jessica and Tom did a great job tending bar, especially now that the bar area is bigger. Totally love this place. Never had a bad meal! They also have an amazing happy hour. Went back for happy hour!

A very enjoyable experience. Luz was our server...best ever! very conscientious, sweet, and attentive without being over bearing. Food was excellent. We had eggplant Parm.

I placed an order through Uber Eats that included an Alfredo dish, garlic knots, and tiramisu. While I appreciate the establishment's commitment to generous portion sizes, the lack of flavor and insufficient Alfredo sauce to adequately cover the noodles were disappointing. The disparity between the glowing reviews and the quality of the food I received, which did not justify the price, was notable. It's telling when I have to resort to adding store-bought sauce because the noodles were barely coated. The chicken was also over cooked and lacked flavor. The garlic knots also fell short, resembling sweet bread with a hint of garlic. Overall, I hope this was just an off day, as all food establishments have them, especially when catering to a surge of customers. However, when dishes are priced at $20 or more, a certain level of quality and flavor is expected.

Wow. This restaurant was excellent from start to finish. The bread that was served was amazing... The service given by Brad was professional, friendly, and excellent. We originally chose this restaurant just based on the name, but the fantastic food will keep us coming back for more. Naturally, I had the spaghetti and meatballs, which were mouth-watering. My husband had the lasagna, which he said had the best tasting mozzarella he has ever had. We highly recommend this restaurant!

I dined here on March 29th, 2023. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great! Large portions and reasonable prices, too. I had the Tortellini Maria, and it was so good I've been dreaming about it ever since. The next time I'm in Fort Myers, I will most definitely eat here again.

Overall experience is a 4 star. It has an upscale appeal but some features are similar to a better quality pizzeria. The atmosphere is busy, which suggests that they do well. The space was quite noisy on a Friday night and the staff was very busy. The waitress was a little absent minded or just busy. We needed to ask for silverware after being served our salad, and our drinks never came till they remembered at the very end, to which we declined them and they removed them from the bill with a sincere apology. I ordered the wild mushroom ravioli. The food was good, and everything tasted fresh, but the mushrooms in the sauce seemed more like baby Bella mushrooms you can find at any grocery store, as compared to a wild mushroom that one might expect. Still good though. Would go back, but would prefer to try on a weeknight or a less busy time.

I must say Jewels was absolutely amazing tonight with my son and his “dog” Chase.( a stuffed Paw Patrol animal).Jewels brought Chase his own drink (a bowl of water) and made sure to check on all of us. She talked to my son as if she knew him forever. Thank you for making tonight a good night for a little boy you didn’t even know. You are amazing.
