Google
Pretty good food, reasonably priced and nice wait staff. Will probably return to try breakfast.

Awesome little spot with pretty good food. The service was great and people were friendly. If you’re looking for a good homestyle breakfast this is the spot.

Google
Quaint small Dinner like Cafe. Food is nothing special but we'll priced! Servers made sure coffee was and delivered the check as the food came out. So they were efficiently lazy. They were very nice and friendly though. Flavor in Gravey needs help and they would have some great plates. Overall nice place to fill your belly for a fair price.

Google
People, don't eat here. When I have an urgent Chicken Fried Steak requirement, I prefer not to fight crowds. This place is an absolute hole in the wall in the best way. CFS is one of the better on the east side. Very good and great portion sizes. Omelets and breakfast bowls are also great. Service has always been excellent. Best thing, most breakfast meals are under $15. Currently, this is our go-to for breakfast. Please don't tell a lot of people.

Google
Great location for a quick bite to eat .. Breakfast was delicious! I recommend it A+++

Google
I came here after walking around the Gilbert Riparian Preserve. Perfect fuel for the rest of my (pointless) work trip to the Mesa area! Knocked down one star because the butter on the toast tasted more like oil versus real butter. Service was great, though!

Sarah Louise Thompson

Google
The food here is seriously good and tastes homemade. Their daily specials are worth checking out, especially the pecan chicken salad on Tuesday and the fish fry on Friday. I totally recommend this place, especially for the Sunday turkey dinner.

Google
The food is amazing. Great fries. Service is exceptional and I got my food very fast. Very affordable and well organized. Staff is very respectful and kind.

Yelp
Good is consistently good especially the omlettes! One of my favorite restaurants. Service is always prompt & courteous. Waitress are Lupe & Kathy. The chicken salad is also excellent. Cannot say enough good things about this place!

Yelp
I just think two seasons is mediocre at best Coleslaw was tasteless mashed potatoes with gravy tasted a little odd Fish fine Dessert I threw out

Yelp
A cozy little cafe on Main Street. Nice ambience, good food, portions just fine. Servers are knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. Only our second visit, but everything great so far.

Yelp
Little multi-room cafe - much larger than it looks. Very busy on a late Sunday morning. As a result, service was a bit slow but excellent breakfast menu. The veggie omelette with toast & fresh fruit was hugely satisfying for Tami. I thought I was ordering a sausage & mushroom scramble but got scrambled eggs with mushrooms slathered with sausage gravy alongside hash browns covered with a white cream gravy. Certainly heavier than I wanted or needed. It took a while to flag down our server to get our check but all in all a decent experience.

Yelp
They do good home style cookin and the ladys are very nice and do a really good job. The food is good and you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
This was our second day coming to this establishment. We ended up getting the same server. She was absolutely amazing. She remembered our drinks from first visit Today I had the #2 special. It consisted of 1 pancake, 1 sausage and 1 egg It was amazing. All I can say you need to stop by and visit Thank you for everything.

Yelp
Food was great ! Service is terrible. Took 45 minutes from the time I was seated until my meal arrived. I ordered blue cheese for my salad. They brought ranch. Their pricing is all jacked up. Their website menu shows the meal that I ordered priced at $10.49. The menu they handed me at the restaurant showed $11.49, and my bill reflected $11.83. The quality of the food was good. Probably the only way that they stay in business. This was my third visit with similar results on the previous two. Three strikes and YOU'RE OUT ! They have a sign posted which reads "Same day service on most orders." I can attest that this is a true statement.

Yelp
Let me be clear, I don't want to be "that guy," or that "Karen," posting scathing yelp reviews. However, like my tagline says, I will only post the truth about my experiences. 1. Service- Oh, she was very prompt. However, it did feel rushed. Something my partner resents doing whenever we are at any restaurant is asking for more coffee/refill on his drink. Quite frankly, I agree with him. It should be the server's job to be aware of drinks being low or coffee being topped off. 2. Setting- It looks dated. I understand that was the theme and the image that's supposed to be portrayed. However, it was a major flop because the dining room still looked dirty and the bathrooms were horrendous. The men's bathroom had no hand soap and was low on paper towels. The women's bathroom reminded me of a gas station on a rough part of town. That bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in forever, let alone upgraded. 3. Lack of accuracy/awareness- I clearly asked for over easy eggs. They were scrambled. I let it slide because I took a few bites and noticed the error. That was on both of us. However, our ketchup on the table was not full and it felt like no one dared to ask or even check the table setup before seating the guests. The table was clean and so was the booth seats, mind you; but the empty ketchup bottle was a rookie mistake, if you will. Definitely not returning here and sticking to our usual breakfast places.

Yelp
The best meatloaf so far!! I didn't care for the corn, but the potatoes are real and chunky! The blue cheese dressing is excellent! Lots of regulars! Tiny little place on the original Main Street/Apache Trail! 8 tables. for 4 each! It's old but seems clean.

Yelp
The " Two Season Diner" is the place for breakfast!!!! The food is excellent. Even in the off season (Snowbird), there are people waiting. If you want a good hearty breakfast, you can't beat it.

Yelp
First time here. Found this local spot on the Public Square app. We support local businesses where possible and this place is a great little gem of a place. I had the Granny with hamburger steak. Jim had the Works gambler. Everything cooked as ordered and flavors good. The ambiance and service is good as well. Lucy took good care of us. Food was served quickly. Glad we got here at 7:30 because you can see the place filling up after 8:00. We'll be back!

Yelp
This is my first time here. I got the chicken fried steak over easy eggs. Came out delicious. Taste home cooking in it. They did very well.

Yelp
Great home cooking with great service! And you just can't beat that.We visit more often now that the weather has heated up and many of the snowbirds have left. Thank you and keep up your great work.

Yelp
This place was great for breakfast, definitely coming back to try out their lunch/dinner menu.

Yelp
I ordered "The Granny" (2 eggs any style, home fries or hash browns - HBs was my choice - & toast) with ham (one can add a variety of meat choices). Our server, Cathy, was very friendly & attentive. The food was served within 3 minutes of my order. The ham was delicious & huge - half the size of a large dinner plate - as was the whole breakfast. The coffee was fresh-brewed and hot, just the way I like it! The Cafe is certainly a little gem of a place and quite reasonably priced.

Yelp
First time here, cute little place very friendly staff good breakfast. I had the Pig Omelette bacon ham and sausage with lots of cheese and toast priced similar to most of the breakfast restaurants. For dessert which I'm taking home Carmel Fudge Cheese cake. I know who has dessert for breakfast, I do!!

Joan S.

Yelp
Great food and outstanding service! Love the walleye fish fry's, being from the Midwest we can fulfill our tastebuds in between our WI visits.

Kae A.

Yelp
The food is so good! Home made! Check out their daily specials! Tues is pecan chicken salad and fruit, so good! Sunday is turkey dinner and DON'T forget fish fry friday!! The BEST fish dinner! Highly recommend this cafe!

Yelp
This little cafe has the best home cooked food in Mesa! We winter in Mesa and this is our favorite spot to eat. The staff are all friendly, everyone of them. I wish I knew all of there names, but a big shout out to Brenda, the owner, who takes time to visit with her customers. I love her staff too! They are all great and friendly. I really get a kick out of Cathy, who may seem a little rough on the edges, but she is such a sweetheart, if you take the time to know her. If you are in the Mesa area, please give them a try. I guarantee you will not walk away hungry! Brenda's desserts are worth taking home. We love her bread pudding and sour cream raisin bars. Make sure to try her daily specials. My husband especially loves her Klub and ham.
google avatar

Bryan M.

Yelp
Someone else said don't judge a book by its cover. Pretty rough in the outside but we walked so we didn't have many options. Good thing. If you're looking for tofu it's not the place, good old bacon and eggs - yes. Did not see the friendliness everyone else is saying but the food was so good we got a couple to go.

Molly F.

Yelp
I can't get enough of this place! Granted. I lived in Minnesota for a long time so I'm a little biased, but good comfort food isn't always east to find. This place has it in spades! Brenda, the owner, is warm and friendly. She remembers her customers and treats you like family. I love that this is just a little dinner I would go eat lunch with my grandma at. The hot beef sandwich is just like my grandma made, and I had a slice of cherry rhubarb pie, just cuz I had never had before. It was excellent...sweet and tart, delicious crust. I've also enjoyed the friday fish fry. It's not walleye, but it is a delicious fish that is similar. I've also tried Sunday turkey dinner. The stuffing was delish and plenty of turkey. All it was missing was the jello My new go to fav place!

Yelp
This was a fun throwback to small town diners. It's so dated that it's trendy now. Service was snappy. There is an extensive menu. The hubs had the chopped steak and eggs with deep fried breakfast potatoes. Nicely done. I had the scramble with biscuits and gravy. Very good. The coffee was plentiful but we both got a lingering taste of the paper filter. It's pretty busy during the morning hours. We might come by sometime for their Friday fish fry.
google avatar

Kristina T.

Yelp
Excellent home cooking! Great prices, large portions wonderful service! We will be back for sure!! I had the chicken fried steak & eggs - excellent! Mom had biscuits & gravy - YUM! Even the patrons are friendly!

Tina R.

Yelp
Always friendly service with good tasting food! Kathy is super friendly. Prices are great too.

Yelp
Like many of the customers here, I have been coming to Two Seasons for years. Sure they have terrific food, however these are my top three reasons: 1) Exceptional Service 2) Consistency 3) Efficiency. The staff is genuine and quick to greet you as soon as you walk in the door. You'll have a drink order on the table within a couple of minutes and food shortly after ordering. No matter what day of the week or time of day, the food looks terrific and comes in generous portions. The only reason I dine elsewhere for breakfast is when the place is so packed you can hardly find parking. If you're in a hurry and just trying to squeeze a meal into your day, they have you covered. However if you want to indulge a little longer with a guest, the refills are never lacking. Generally speaking this has got to be one of Mesa's best vintage cafes. No need to scan a QR code just to read the menu and definitely no need for political correctness. This is definitely worthy of being called an All American cafe. If they ever close this place I'll just have to switch to a vegan diet I suppose. Keep up the great work Brenda, Kathy and staff!

Penelope B.

Yelp
Everything is delicious but I always come back for the patty melt, the best! Wait staff is friendly and quick, Brenda comes out to check on things regularly. Never disappointed, yum! Nothing fancy just a simple, clean diner like my dad liked.

Yelp
This is one of the hidden GEMS in the east valley. Reminds me of home in Tennessee. Awesome fresh hot food, customer service, very friendly, and clean. As the snowbirds come down each year get there early. Prices or very affordable. They have daily special too and fish on Friday's. Hours MTWTSS: 6a-1p Friday : 6a-7p

Robert G.

Yelp
Good food; good service. SO had cabbage rolls, I had a "gambler" 2eggs, meats biscuits and gravy. Just wish customers wouldn't try to pass off a pet as a service dog. Otherwise, we'll be back.

Yelp
Today, Friday March 4, 2022 was my 3 rd visit... I had a nice breakfast... Eggs medium, home fried potatoes and toast... excellent My waitress was very nice & attentive.... A friend recommended this Cafe and certainly not disappointed.... Jackie T

Yelp
The photos in these images do not match the food items served. For example, let's start with the home fries. I had them two days ago, an they were tasteless little square cubes, no skin, and completely dry...arguably, the worst I've ordered in my 79 years. Yet, they appear yummy in the photos. I suppose you could get gravy on some of your deliverables but they must think everyone knows the menu. Also, the coffee cups should all be the same size, and provide spoons by which the creamers could be stirred instead of using the table knife. Makes you feel they are serving "hicks." Now, the good. Eggs are decent size, and the bacon is good, too although portions are small....am sure they are tailoring their breakfasts to the senior and "Snowbird" crowd. I wish men with ball caps would remove them as most are of the age group where you were taught to do that. Of course, my mother always said ball caps are for the naturally bald, and those with bad hair, or they're experiencing an illness (which is no fault of their own unless due to obesity and/or smoking). I gave them a second chance today, two days later and brought two friends along. One had mistakenly gone there yesterday thinking that was the day he was suppose to join in. I asked them for a grade. One gave it a D and the other an F+. The one didn't get his order served as he ordered. No server asked if everything was OK, and coffee refills were non-existent. The rear dining room can be a handful because if it cold or raining (which it was one or the other for both days i was there) the door is unlocked at the back room. The rain comes in when it is opened or the cold air, and longer for walkers. It appears that they do not accommodate wheel chairs very well as I am used to when traveling in 34 countries, and just about every state in the union. Arizona can be like that...very few regulatory agencies while ignoring codes and the federal Americans with Disabilities Act (various articles). Also, tell the person who asks "how many in your party" that it is jut the number that are present or they ill make disabled people wait for the others to show up. Go ahead, and get seated. If a "joiner"shows up, and is wiling to spend money i am sure they will be seated. On the whole, I feel this could be a really nice place with a few small (well, really many) "service oriented" improvements. I do write reviews for a nationally circulated publication (read and geared to the "elite woke" and educated snobs). So, there, I do not like customers wearing Trump hats. It means you support a thief and crook...so when I see the hats, i guard my wallet, and avoid them like the plague.

Yelp
Friends love this place, so maybe they're regulars and have had a better experience. The biscuits and gravy portion was huge, with nice fluffy biscuits; the sausage in the gravy was a bit skimpy. Eggs, home fries, and hash browns were all good, but, like the coffee and biscuits and gravy, just barely warm. Service was adequate. They did give $2 off our bill when we said that our food wasn't hot. With so many glowing reviews, maybe we'll try again, only with our friends, the regular patrons!
google avatar

Randy H.

Yelp
I love this place! Simple home cooked breakfast at a reasonable price. Just know that if you go after 9am on weekends, there's gonna be a wait.
google avatar

Christy K.

Yelp
This is an old-school, home-style cafe where literally everyone eating here knows each other and how they like their eggs. My son and I ate a great, hot, affordable breakfast here this morning. The french toast and home fries were especially yummy. The eggs were cooked perfectly. I am writing this review mostly because the two servers were working amazingly hard - and one angry customer was yelling at them for some of the safety protocols requiring social distancing and seating. Honestly! It was shameful. I took a moment to thank these hard-working ladies for their work and hope you will stop in and give them a tip - for helping us enjoying a meal out in AZ.
google avatar

Steve D.

Yelp
This little restaurant has delicious food and excellent service. It also has the best fish fry in the East valley. 3 PCs of fish fried just right, not greasy, with baked potato. Almost more than you can eat....and at just over $10. You can't beat that!!!! We will back every Friday.
google avatar

Joy B.

Yelp
We are fairly frequent visitors. Great food. The hot beef sandwich is a favorite. Generous portions of turkey, dressing, beans, and mashed potatoes covered in gravy served on Sundays was exceptional. Not always available but when they are, sour cream raisin bars are to die for. Our high recommendation!

Alex F.

Yelp
Everything was great and attentive except the food. I thought it was good nothing blows me away. The prices aren't expensive at all. I would come here again it reminds me of chicken fried steak from dennys, ihop, literally any diner. Pancakes are huge though. Overall with it I would give 4.3 out of 5. Wish pies were homemade instead of frozen

Yelp
Stopped in for breakfast. Quick run down... - Bacon -- very good - Hash browns -- ok - Gravy -- good, but it came back to haunt me later - Biscuits -- fair - Eggs -- over easy eggs came out over medium, scrambled eggs...well this is one more place that doesn't know how to properly scramble an egg Overall, ok

Darcie W.

Yelp
My God. How does this place have 4+ stars? The best thing on my plate this morning were the "home fries" - Just chunks of potatoes. No onions, no peppers, no flavor! Since this was my first time going to this place, I tried what I have always considered a "safe" option, the chicken fried steak. It was awful! Overdone, and again, no flavor! The gravy tastes like it comes from a packet, not homemade. My eggs, ordered over-medium, came out hard, no yolk. So I got toast I can't dip in yolk. The orange juice is watery, I think it's from frozen concentrate, at best. My boyfriend said his family used to come to this place often but that was years ago, and they had a different name then. They used to be good, he said. I told him this was a SWING AND A MISS. Will NOT be back! *Do NOT recommend*
google avatar

Yelp
Do not judge the restaurant by the curb appeal. When you enter Two seasons you enter into a different style of restaurant than you usually find now. The staff is service oriented, helpful and attentive. The menu takes you back to a era of home made food basic meals like your mother served. If you are looking for friendly service and good food this is the location for you.

Yelp
Another bookmark bites the dust, and this one in mouth watering fashion. Several Yelp reviews brag about the biscuts and gravy. My wife was hankering for some so I put two and two together and came here. The cafe is just off Main strees on a frontage road. It appears small from the outside but actually has several dining rooms inside. It has a mid-western ambiance and a good ole country menu. My wife did in fact order the biscuts and gravy. I couldn't help sampling. They were as good as the hype. I could go on, but that's her review. I want to talk about "The Works" omelet I ordered. Talk about a bulging belly full of goodness. This monster was loaded with bacon, ham, sausage, tomatoes, onions, green peppers, mushrooms, and a ton of cheese. Everything couldn't fit inside so the rest went on top. It came with toast and a generous helping of hashbrowns. By the time I couldn't stuff myself anymore, there wasn't enough to put in a box. This giant omelet, a mountain of biscuits and gravy, and 2 beverages came to less than 20 bucks. Two Seasons will forever be on my best breakfast list.

Yelp
After waking up with a hankering for biscuts and gravy, I told my husband and fellow Yelper about my craving and asked him if he wanted to go out for breakfast. He quickly jumped on Yelp and searched through his bookmarks and suggested Two Seasons. Boy, am I glad he did. Several reviews mentioned the amazing biscuts and gravy, so I knew I was in for a treat! Two Seasons is located on Main street, off an access road. There is street parking. At first glance it looks fairly small, but looks can be deceiving as it is actually good sized inside. I ordered a full order of biscuits abd gravy, and a short time later out comes a large plate with 2 huge biscuits smothered with sausage gravy. As I cut the first bite with my fork, my mouth was watering from the scent. It was love at first bite. The biscuits were fluffy and obviously homemade. The gravy was flavorful with large chunks of sausage. I can see why the biscuits and gravy is a popular dish. Admittedly, I ate EVERY bite and didn't regret any of it! I WILL be back for breakfast again, and the biscuits and gravy and I will be reunited again.
google avatar

Mary L.

Yelp
Friendly staff the service is quick, and the food is great! It's kinda a hole in the wall place but, that's why it gives you a like being home feeling.
google avatar

Kathie W.

Yelp
Great little place. Food is good down home cooking. The owner is there either cooking or walking around helping out talking to customers all the people are nice. Food is plenty and good. Expect a lot for a small price. Love this place.
google avatar

John M.

Yelp
Quiet little place to come and eat. We were just passing through on the visit to the area but from the conversation it seems like the locals like to come by here and eat. Food was good and cooked to order. It's not very large but we were lucky enough to get in there and get a booth.

Bob D.

Yelp
Worst lunch I can remember having in a long time. Tried the Monday Special of Potato Dumplings, tasteless starchy goo. I should have steered clear when the waitress wasn't sure what they were when I asked before ordering. Served with an over cooked Chevy slice of ham. Absolutely terrible. My wife had sliced bread covered in chopped roast beef and salty gravy. Again terrible, Super salty and tasteless at the same time. We have had breakfast here before and thought we would grab lunch. Big mistake, I can't stress enough how terrible our meals were. Spend your money elsewhere.

Yelp
Home cooking, it's a terms sometimes thrown around way too easy, but I'm here to tell you a true story of home cooking done right. In my many travels eating at all manner of establishments from fast food to fine dining, the one thing true to my soul is good old home cooking and let me tell you the tale of finding the best most authentic Midwest cooking you'll find anywhere in the whole Phoenix metro area. Look no further than the 2 Seasons Café in Mesa on main street. Awe, main street there could be no better street for this absolute gem of a café to be located on; I first discovered this when my wife showed me the pictures of their 'Granny' breakfast. Only a couple days later I stopped on my way to work for breakfast. It's a small cozy café well situated on the corner of main and 63rd street. I walked in and immediately was transported to a simpler time a way back machine if you will; I took an open booth, comfortable and not over stated, simple decor; like a home town diner should look - Fantastic! I was sold; I order the 'Granny' as I saw in the picture; Eggs over easy, hash-browns, ham steak and sourdough toast. First the eggs were cooked a perfect over easy, the hash-browns were perfect the way I like them on the softer side which is better for soaking up the yolk (I'm sure crispy hash-brown fans would be equally enthralled, if they ask for crispy) the ham steak was likewise perfect and the biggest most amazing thing other breakfast places can't seem to get right is, the toast was actually toasted! not limp warm bread like I get at most other joints. I've been back since for breakfast again and being a creature of habit, I got the same thing, again just as wonderful and amazing the second time. I took my wife for dinner on Friday, the only night they are open late (7pm). I got dinner for the first time. I ordered the country fried steak, mash potatoes & green beans with the sausage gravy over the steak and potatoes and I'm a person who normally doesn't like gravy on my mash potatoes; I have to tell you their sausage gravy was so good, I wanted to bathe in it. The country fried steak was cooked perfectly with the coating being crispy and crunchy. The green beans were cooked very good as well with real bacon bits in them (I know bacon makes everything better). My wife is planning a review of her own on her meal, but I can tell you it was amazing as well, hot beef. Wow that pot roast was delicious and the brown gravy was nailed and as good as my sausage gravy. We are now new fans and loyal customer of 2 Season Café, who are planning on there being many more trips back in time to the best café around. I encourage anyone out there looking for best home cooking period full stop, please go there and give them a try. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Yelp
I love this place! Great old school homemade cooking. I've never had a bad meal here. Perfect small town diner.

Mike C.

Yelp
A nice little hole in the wall. They have great breakfast. The service is always good. A friend and me stop for an early dinner. He had chicken fried steak. It came with a salad, bake potato and corn. A nice size portion. I had fish and chips. It's Friday . Instead of French fries. I had a cup of clam chowder . It was pretty dam good. The fish was excellent . The fish portion is large. No complaints from me. It's nice to find a good mom and pop place.

Yelp
Something Special? Maybe not but it's great classic American breakfast this morning for my troop. Very good biscuits n gravy. I had the one with eggs n bacon. I just put it on top and devour. My wife had 'The Works Omelette' and loved it. Our little guy had a pancake. I gotta say the bacon was great, they should brag about it if it the norm. Definitely needs to be repeated! Give it a try you'll be happy you did.
