Such a great bodega. They have some of the coldest fridges and loads of choices. Snacka of all types, so many beers, wine, everything. The shop keep is super cool. The name really should be the five star market.

This place has the nicest owners you can ever meet...I have admiration and respect for this business

My brother Richie told us about this place and we went on Friday. I live in san jose so it was a 45 min ride. It was worth the ride. The food was so good. I spent 84.00 and it was worth every penny. The owner was a very nice guy, he handed out his business cards and told my daughter for her birthday day that he will make a special dinner for her. I wish I took more picture but the food was so eye candy that I forgot about taking pictures. I order the snapper fish. It was wonderful.

Grabbed some fried chicken with a side of mac n cheese and greens. The food was good. I'd even say it was great, but the pricing was outrageous. $5 for each of the sides was reasonable enough even though they weren't very large portions, but it was $14.99 for the main dish and I only received 2 pieces of fried chicken. One drumstick and one breast for $14.99. I mean I feel a bit cheated. 2 pieces of chicken and a scoop of each side for $25 plus tax is a terrible deal. The food was cold, just sitting in throwaway aluminum bins. It wasn't even cooked up to order, or even heated and they want almost $30 after tax. Definitely not worth it.

I've been there every day. I love this place.

Love this place. Always have what you want. Friendly staff, great location, and the owner hosts various family based events throughout the year to give back to the community.

GREAT HOURS and selection. Beer wine and lots more. I appreciate anybody open late that sells beer in Oakland. It's becoming less common these days for obvious reasons. Super friendly and well lit. I give two star market five stars. I wonder out of how many stars they rate themselves with their name?! Large private parking lot and street parking. Across that street from ultra luxury cannabis club with parklet and smoke shop 'Mac Stop Shop'

The Thanksgiving Feast is one of the best community activities I've every enjoyed. I volunteer every year and get to be with so many wonderful neighbors I would otherwise never meet.

Great people I stop to buy a Rum for a gift to my godfather. Found a great deal on a very expensive bottle. Best part of all it was great help. I will definitely stop buy next time. BevMo it's to far and to expensive. F

Best Store hands down. Better prices than competitors. They are always giving back to the community and it's been family owned for at least two decades.

If I could give zero stars I would. I placed an order through a delivery app that billed this store directly and it was never fulfilled and it was an extra extra extra large order.

Convenient but less than accurate product selection. I enjoy Rosé and I enjoy sweet grapefruit, just not together. I will review orders when delivered while the driver is still present and reserve cash tip money upon delivery. As you can see, we tried it but it was gross.

A lot has change with this store. The staff are friendly and helpful. This place has less sketchy characters compare to other stores in Oakland. You can order their alcohol online thru postmates.com or grubhub.com.

Haven't been here since quarantine, but I made a quick stop on my way home. Really disappointed to see they are not following the mask mandate AT ALL. Guy working at the door, no mask. Cashier 1, no mask. Cashier 2, mask on his chin. Several customers, no mask. Zero concern about Covid even though cases are going up.

Two Stars had lots of liquor and beer. thought about it but passed. friendly people working here.went for the coffee. pleasnatly satisfied. pour: "pronto cafe" french roast (1) -yep, one buck, smooth, taste better than farmers/superior....4 stars brew: "cinder cone red ale", deutsches brewery, 3.99 -5.3%, smooth for a red ale (1/31/15) drips: -free parking in lot -evenings has many lurkers nearby. so beware... friendly, helpful people inside.

Its amazing. Very clean and staff are very nice. They have an amazing good selection of beer and wine. Also I go there get my ice cream Ben Jerry's. They open til 2am daily....

Like whaaa!? This place was a bit different growing up. In my younger days this was the place to swing by late hours for the last run of alchohol and tobacco products like any O'l liquor store but at some point added a grill and had burgers n fries so also munchies. But now, they leased the grill to what use to Borinquen Soul food truck is now a brick n mortar part of of 2 Star Liquore which is a huge bonus. The liquore/spirits selections are vast! From bottom of the barrel rock gut vodkas such Taka to high end organic Tequila that just baffled the hell out of me lol They have great tobacco selections, especially if you roll your own cigarette, brands like Peter Stokkebye, they even Swan slim filters. Perfectly convenient store but also good for last min hoste gifts

Several employees here not wearing masks properly or even at all and aren't enforcing a mask rule for customers that come in even though they have a sign posted up on their door for it. Came here to pickup BBQ at the BBQ place they have inside and felt very uncomfortable around the maskless employees and customers while I waited. Smoakring should move out and find a better spot

My neighborhood liquor store has all the common trappings of your average east oakland liquor store with small threads of unexpected good will. At Thanksgiving, they often have turkey/food giveaways to neighborhood families, Halloween bags for kids in costume not stealing from them and New Year's events for anyone to stop in on. Their family has definitely invested themselves in the Dimond, don't forget that once the folks come down from the hill wanting to change the F'vale and Mac neighborhood now that we have a Peet's and La Farine.

This was the least safe I've felt in any store since COVID started. Literally only one out of five people in there had a mask on. The cashier had his mask hanging around his neck. No attempt whatsoever at any kind of compliance. I used to love this place--their selection is quite good--but they've lost my business, and for the sake of Oakland's case numbers I hope they've lost yours too.

Two Star Market gets 5 from me! I've been going to this market on and off for years. They carry my favorite hot sauce, among other things. A few evenings ago, after realizing I was out of my special sauce, I drove to Two Star market to replenish my supply. To my dismay, they were out. I picked up a bottle of hot sauce from the same maker (El Yucateco) and brought it to one of the guys at the front counter and told him of my discovery. From that moment on, it was as if he rolled out a red carpet for me. He apologized for it not being on the shelf, asked me to pull up a Google image of my favorite sauce, snapped a picture of it from his own phone, and assured me that it would be back on the shelf in a day or two. After thanking him, I went to make my purchase of the 'other' hot sauce. Instead of ringing me up, the same guy says, "This one is on me," and slid the bottle of hot sauce my way. Not only was this a kind gesture, but a shrewd business move on his part, as I will be back for more and looking to support Two Star Market in any way that I can.

COME GET YOUR COLD BOTTLES OF LIQUOR.. for those ready-to-drink folks! Came here last weekend on Friday (or was it Saturday?).. in any case, I think there was some sort of Remy Martin booth going on in the store that looked like they was serving ice cream? IDK?

Excellent! I come in here all the time, they have a very nice selection of food, household supplies, beer, wine, hard liquor and even fresh produce! What I really like about this place is that they host a free community dinner every year for Thanksgiving, the owner really cares about his community. It looks like they are opening up a kitchen I cannot wait to try the food!!

Ditto the other yelpers here. I've never heard of a liquor store/market to have Thanksgiving dinner open to the neighborhood. That's the warm Oakland spirit I know and love...pretty awesome.

This Liquor Store & Market needs to rename itself 5 Stars for community involvement! Every Thanksgiving Abdo (the owner) decks out his parking lot with tables,canopies, and BBQ grills. They set up the biggest feed for the neighborhood. They also donate tons of food and time for the annual Dimond District Picnic in Dimond Park. Aside from their generous hearts, they have the best selection of imported and micro beers in East Oakland and a big selection of fine wines. If you have a special drink you don't see there, they will order it for you. They are located in the Dimond Disrict across from Paws & Claws. You gotta check them out! They give a whole new meaning to neighborhood Liquor Store.

very good selection of liquor and beer. The beer is expensive. They'll knock some money off the price of a big bottle of booze so shelling out doesn't cost an arm AND a leg. They're a great neighbor. They give back to the community like no other. They're remodeling now. I'll check back and raise my stars to 4 if appropriate. Good job 2 Stars Market. Keep up the good work.

Neighborhood liquor store plus tons of snacks. Note sure if the selection changed with Borinquen Soul setting up shop but they have tons of Goya products from cookies to spices to canned vegetables and fruit nectars. They have several kinds of chicharones and several of the Inka brand of platano chips. Lots of drinks from coconut water to soda and, of course, beer and wine.

Best customer service I experienced. They had everything I needed. Will definitely come back. Best store in the neighborhood.

Good selection of beers & liquors, and It's near my house. Some Thug types frequent the place, but hey, it's a free country.
