Tldr; Great presentation, lack luster food. In terms of atmosphere, it's great; cozy and welcoming, the staff was welcoming too. However, overall, the food at this restaurant was disappointing, both in terms of portion size, balance, and flavor. For lunch, we ordered the steak skirt bento box, the spicy crab noodles, and the sunny side maki roll. First, the bento box came with a single skewer of steak which wasn't enough (the meat was also charred). While there were plenty of vegetables in the bento box, after finishing, I was still hungry. The maki roll contained cream cheese and smoked salmon, however the balance was off. There was too much cream cheese and it drowned out the flavor of the roll. Lastly the noodles, while were ok, was basically just a bowl of noodles without any sides. It was underwhelming. Would not come back.

Came here for a little date night with my fiancé. We both got the Tonkotsu ramen. LOVED that if you sub out an ingredient (like mushrooms in our case) that you can add extra of a seperate ingredient (we both did egg) for no additional charge. The broth was delicious and creamy but has a slight strange after taste, the pork melt in your mouth, but the noodles were hard. It was almost like they precook the noodles and then throw it in the hot broth before serving to finish cooking (but they never did). Unfortunately because the noodles are SUCH a pivotal part if ramen I did have to knock the food from 4 stars to 3. Other than that, the server wss incredibly friendly but a little forgetful. No chopstick (or even forks) brought nor napkins and we had to get up for both. Other than that she was an ABSOLUTE delight! The atmosphere is nice. Calm and dimly lit, perfect for a date night.

The broth is so good! Will just order out next time. Slow service all around and a weird, cold ambiance. But the food itself is good.

We walked in to the basement restaurant, greeted by a cheerful hostess and seated immediately. Our booth was cozy, the garlic noodles and crispy Brussels were amazing! Molly our server was spot on with her service and she made surewe always had cold water on our table. Great evening with my family!

Two Ten Jack has been a staple for my husband and I for years now. Sometimes for date nights, sometimes with our toddler tagging along! Tonight our server, Emily, was so kind and friendly. Our service is always efficient and the food is always amazing. We love this spot and hope we will be coming here for years to come!

Good food, nice vibe, but like so many other restaurants, staffing might be an issue. By the way, I don't mean that the staff was bad, just not enough. When we visited on a Saturday at about 2 :00 p.m. there was no one at the entrance and the servers were running around and we had about a 20-30 minute wait. There weren't that many people in the restaurant but I think there were only two servers and no one at the door. Despite that, the server was super nice and once we got seated was very attentive. Our food came out fairly quickly and was hot and delicious. It did not knock my socks off but it certainly hit the spot. I plan to give it a second chance because it might have been an anomaly of staffing. But I do think you should be cautious if there's no one greeting you at the front door! But this complex does have several restaurants and validated parking. I think it's a worthwhile location and this restaurant was pretty good.

We highly recommend this restaurant. We had a very good experience & loved the food we ordered which was edamame; fried rice; and the pork ramen. It was all very good and very good service & wait staff. We had reservations so we didn’t have to wait to be seated. We will be returning when our sons come to visit over Thanksgiving.

My wife and I came here to have dinner on a Saturday night. We made 7:00 reservations, and upon arrival, we were seated immediately. Every staff member we had contact with was polite. We both ordered small plates and ramen. Everything was delicious, I recommend coming here for lunch or dinner.

The restaurant was nice and muted lighting to set the mood. The server was nice and helpful with suggestions. The food was good and I most likely will come back. The only reason this review isn't higher is because the website sucks. I had only come there because I wanted the skewers. Had I known it was only served at dinner I would have come later in the day. If I hadn't had come with a group and already paid for parking I would've just come back later. The website makes it impossible for you to see the menus because it blows it up so much you only catch a few letters or words. The menu I did find didn't specify anything. While I admit I could have called and asked, I don't really think I should have to call just to confirm the dishes they serve. I hope the owner fixes their website, because the food wasn't bad, just not really what I had wanted.

Great spicy rise and salmon, sushi was necessary amazing but ok, the Roman dish I had was very Spiced and amazing. Great stuff.

Food: we had so many dishes tonight. Ginger wedge salad, JFC, pork belly skewer, crab noodles, crispy Brussels, crispy rice/spicy tuna, miso soup, all fabulous. And I quote, "the Philly roll was that Zara supreme". Service: slightly slow, however super friendly waitress. Typically service is faster. I'll take friendly and slow over rude and fast any day. Really neat restaurant with a cool underground ambience. It would make for a great date spot, though I was just here with some friends. I ordered the spicy crab noodles, based off of previous reviews. The flavor was fantastic, and the noodles al dente. That said, a little more crab would've been nice; I didn't leave the restaurant especially full. Regardless, I'd still recommend Two Ten Jack, as it checks most boxes. Tasty food, excellent service, nice vibe.

This was my first time coming here. The restaurant was super nice! The vibe and staff were great as well.

Sadly, one of two Asian restaurants in downtown Chattanooga area and they've missed the mark. I got their poke bento box and the flavors were all a bit off. Poke didn't taste that fresh or flavorful.

Probably the worst ramen I've had in my life honestly. Not exactly sure what is salty in it? But basically a mouth full of salt. No vegetables except for bamboo which I asked not to have. Yet another place to cross off my list

My hubby and I went in for lunch last Friday. I'm not a ramen fan so I was just focused on drinks however I tried the spicy crab noodles and the JFC chicken. Both were really good. Our server Emily was so sweet. The restaurant was about to close however we were able to have an amazing time with both Emily and Annika. Both girls were simply amazing and we will definitely go back to try more food, and drinks. If you haven't been , this spot is a hidden secret little gem that you should for sure try. Be sure to ask for Emily and Annika!!!!

I thought it was good and priced well. Cocktails were fine. Some were creative. Not badly priced at $10. Service was fast and friendly. Plus, the food came out fast. We had the fried rice with scrambled egg and the dry crab ramen. The fried rice would have been better with a runny egg, but since we shared it with our toddler we wanted the egg fully cooked. Still good, though. The crab ramen was yummy with a little kick but not too spicy. Parking in front of the restaurant is free for 2 hours. Cute location. Good, quick dinner stop.

Service to begin with is amazing, we were unsure what we were walking into but our server, Kaleb answered all of our questions and recommended us to the right choice ! Best service ! Ambiance is quiet with background music perfect for a date night or a night out with friends! I recommend the sake or other spirits , food is amazing and taste amazing definitely recommend

No hate at all, but Chattanooga doesn't make Ramen and sushi. If you've never had ramen before or sushi just know this isn't actually what it tastes like. This is just an essence.. if that. It's not bad food it's just not the real thing. Service was good. The girl was nice and helpful. No complaints here. :) The vibe is fun too, it is a cool underground, fun lit and wood vibe. A tree branch hangs over that feels almost like eating under a tree. Overall not what I expected but at the same time I'm not surprised. If you're coming here for good vibes have fun and get the Brussel sprouts. They are REALLY good! If you're coming here for good ramen and Sushi, go somewhere else! Honesty is the best policy! Hope this helps :)

Not a great experience. Waitress was great and food was good not great. The portion size was underwhelming and the price combined with the portion size was disappointing. We won't be back. To top it off there were bugs flying around our table.

This is my go to birthday spot! The sushi is always fresh and delicious. The ramen is the best I've ever had - try the tonkotsu! The tuna crispy rice and pork belly are a must get every time I go. Highly recommend.

This is real Japanese and amazing. They give you food as it comes out so it's the freshest. Never getting everything at once isn't gonna happen it's bc that's the style . It's amazing love kfc chicken ramen everything is spectacular atmosphere is gorgeous in bottom of historic warehouse row

Looked like they were short staff and the bartender was running all the tables in the back including ours. Only saw our server 3 times during our meal. The app was delivered after the entree and I had to remind the server that I didn't get it. When they delivered it it was not hot so more than likely it was forgotten. The app was takoyaki and it was more like an interpretation of takoyaki. It sadly was disappointing because they used the smallest amount of octopus. Like I swear the first three did not have any. Had to break one open to see that it was a tiny piece. Positive is the vibe and the ramen.

Very disappointing. The Tonkotsu ramen had.. one slice of pork? Interesting. The Brussel sprouts were just burnt, and the salad was incredibly bland.

I was surprised at the low average two ten has here on yelp. We have eaten here multiple times and have always been pleased. The atmosphere is one of the best in chattanooga for a "cozy low light" feel. We always get the ramen and have always been happy with it. We have never had an issue with the service or wait times. The drink prices are reasonable for what feels like a higher end setting. Overall, two ten is definitely worth checking out, don't be put off by the score average here!

A very quaint and cool place. It is located in an old warehouse building where there is now shopping and dining. Two Ten Jack has several different dishes. My husband had a ramen noodle dish, and he said it was delicious. I have food allergies so I opted for the nigiri. The fish was very fresh and tasty. We also had edamame...steamed and salted just right. The place has a "hip" vibe and is a fun place to go. We will definitely go the next time we are in Chattanooga.

My husband and I walked in at 9:15pm tonight to have a late night drink and the host told us they hadn't served anyone in an hour, so as a result they were closing and not taking guests. It also didn't help that to host was slightly rude, the staff was basically closing up shop, and they had 4-5 people dining at the bar. We were so confused because their closing hours are 10pm! We also met two guys outside the restaurant who mentioned they were turned down before us. Note to Two Ten: if your restaurant closes at 10pm, close at 10pm. Don't pick and choose the closing time because your staff doesn't feel like serving guests. Sadly this is not the type of restaurant we need in a growing city like Chattanooga. Because of the rude welcoming, we won't be returning or recommending this spot to anyone.

1 star. Ramen was served cold. The bowl was made again. Was also cold. When shared this information with staff, staff became argumentative. Don't waste your time or money.

Waiters are working on their own time. Waited 30 minutes to finally ask if we had a waiter. Food was decent, wouldn't recommend the edamame.

it was pretty mid and definitely not the place to eat sushi. the ramen didn't taste like anything special. the ambiance was nice though and service was friendly.

If you are disabled or a wheelchair user you will need to go inside of the warehouse row shopping center and take an elevator down to the restaurant. We really thought the Ramen was delicious and my stepdaughter actually enjoyed her garlic noodles and the mochi. Unpictured we also got the daily maki and it was delicious. Our server was very friendly and helpful. Beautifully decorated restaurant, very cool vibes. I will be coming back.

Worst ramen I've ever had, tonkotsu broth tasted like gasoline. Pork was as thin as a sheet of paper and only got one piece, no egg, and the noodles were like microwaved top ramen. Nagiri was room temp. And miso soup was $6 for what was obviously the powder soup in the paper cup from the grocery store. Only saw our waitress three times. We were seated in the back area with nobody else around, didn't see our server for another 20 minutes so we had to go retrieve her. She didn't deliver one piece of food, which all came at different times. Then we had to retrieve her once again to get our check. Came out to a hundred dollars for 3 people and the food was nearly inedible.

Love the atmosphere here, first time going and had the Tonkotsu ramen, I wish the egg had been more soft boiled, there is nothing tastier than runny yoke covering the noodles. Had the St Elmo spicy roll which was good, and full of spice. Also tried the Tori Paitan Shoyu Ramen which I felt was a little bland and the chicken meatballs they added were overly mushy, tasted as if they were not cooked all the way (as a description of consistency, I'm certain they were fully cooked, no one got sick). I recommend stopping in for a dim light dinner and some hot sake. Want to come back and try some of their appetizers!

Strangely enough, they are known for ramen and their ramen is the worst ramen I've had in the US to this point. However, their skewers are stellar. The ambience is fantastic. Other food besides ramen was delicious. Why? Wel, I'm so glad you asked... RAMEN: unmitigated disaster... so, things can be picturesque in a pretty bowl but starting w the pic, they put the egg in the ramen spoon. A huge no-no. But as I dove in, it got worse. Instead of a chunky, fat laced piece of pork in my tonkotsu, I had one extremely thin sliced piece of ... I don't know, pork loin? ... floating in my "ramen". The broth? Tasted more like warm milk (and looked like it) than any tonkotsu I've had across the US. Even my home ramen is way better. And, the noodles.... Oh my goodness. Like plopping uncooked spaghetti noodles into a milk bath. Very disappointing. YAKITORI was pretty good actually. I had scallops on a skewer that were cooked to perfection, an avocado that genuinely surprised me as I hadn't seen that take before (scorched them the center filled w a mustard ponzu and wasabi), tuna negori and chicken skewers - all fantastic!! AMBIANCE was great - Hailey was attentive and interesting and the decor is stellar.

We'll start with the edamame! OH MY GOOODNESS. My husband and I agreed that this was the best edamame we've ever had. The menu description says, "steamed with good salt" and we were indeed blown away by the "good salt." Haha! There's a spicy option that we didn't try. I got the karaage box which for $16, I'd say is an amazing deal! Everything in this bento blew me away. The crispy brussels were 10/10. The fried gyoza with its sauce and salad were made so well. My husband got the spicy crab garlic noodle. It was so good. They used fresh crab which was the cherry on top. The service was average but we were so blown away by our food experience to care too much.

Here I sit at Two Ten Jack, finishing my glass of wine and trying to console myself. I am devastated, gutted and heartbroken that you have eliminated my beloved sake tataki (perfectly prepared salmon on a bed of fabulous Brussels sprouts) from your new menu! What's worse is you offer nothing in its place... There's literally nothing in the same hemisphere as that. To add insult to injury, the Shishito peppers are unrecognizable and tasteless. The sauce that was with the previous version was heavenly and now it tastes like nothing but oily peppers. I am all for keeping it fresh and reinventing one's self but when you take the best things off your menu, I have to question your leadership. Chattanooga's taste buds have officially curled into the fetal position... Thanks a lot!

My husband and I came to visit our family in Chattanooga on Mother's Day weekend. We entered the restaurant at 2.45pm thinking that it was 1.45pm because my watch was on Nashville's time! After I realized it, I wanted to leave because I felt really bad for our server. Our server was so nice. He said we could stay and enjoy our lunch. I didn't catch his name but he gave us exceptional service. (The receipt said server "Bar") Food was delicious. I rushed eating it but my spicy crab garlic noodle was phenomenal! Of course! We got the whole restaurant to ourselves. It was peaceful and quiet!

We had a nice meal here, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good Japanese meal. Spicy edamame was tasty (and free if you check-in). Gyoza was delicious and tasted freshly made. All the yakatori was flavorful and well-done. And wherever they were grilling the meat, the ventilation was good, as we could not smell it anywhere. Spicy Tuna Rice was one of my favorites dishes and a bit different than just a tuna sushi roll. However, the sushi we had was also good. Ramen broth was yummy, but the noodles were a bit different than I expected. They tasted more like an egg noodle in Hong Kong style wonton noodle soup, but it was all still delicious. Service was efficient, and all in all a nice dining experience if you have a craving for Japanese.

I wish there was 3.5 stars. Food 3.5 and service a 4 star. Presentation was really nice but flavors needed some more work.. order salmon sake take which came on a bed of fried Brussel sprout that lacked salt and salmon didn't have any flavor. The crab butter nooodles were the best. We also got spicy tuna on fried rice which the tuna definitely had a kick to it so if you can't take spice don't order. Also ordered st. Elmo roll which has same spicy tuna inside the roll but the roll had too much rice in it so wasn't our favorite. My son loved his mochi ice cream. Also they validate parking if you park in the garage so go ahead and park in garage and get your parking validated.

Cute restaurant at Warehouse Row. Checked out Two Ten Jack for lunch and enjoyed it. I really like the entrance, it reminds me of a speakeasy entrance. The inside is dark and intimate. The lunch menu isn't as large as the dinner menu but has some great options. I went with the Poke bento box. Everything was tasty, especially the Brussels!! The only thing I'd ask for is more of is the fried gyoza and poke, and less of the slaw/Brussels. Other than that everything was delicious and service was amazing. Definitely will go back.

My niece wanted ramen after playing volleyball this weekend at the convention center so we stopped in for a to go order. She thought the ramen was just ok and not the best she's had. As a note we tried to order online around 1:30 snd wasn't able to. It said we needed to wait till after 5 pm. We called and were able to place an order. They do close at 3 and I guess reopen in the evening so make note of this, if trying to order online.

Food was very bad. Had both tonkotsu and shoyu ramen, bento box, and sushi. All bad. Service was extremely slow and automatic 20% gratuity, which discouraged good service. Please don't make the mistake of eating here. The only reason it is still in business is because of the location- not because of the food. Depressed and saddened by this experience.

The food is not very good and it is very bland. The ramen wasn't even hot!! Tantanmen is mid as hell. Avoid Chattanooga at all costs (it goes beyond this restaurant).

Two Ten Jack never disappoints. We always get the Okonomi-Age for a small plate and we love it! For ramen, I get the Yasai Shoyu and add extra corn! You have to try the mochi as well! It is a perfect way to end the meal. The service is always incredible. We have never been disappointed leaving!

Haven't been here possibly since 2019 and was disappointed in the food. It is not the same quality. The sushi fell apart. The waitress was very pleasant, however it's like they have college students running the place. We have no desire to return .

My second time here and it was fantastic again! Service is great and they get food out quickly, bringing each entree to the table when it is finished cooking so everything is fresh. Their sushi was good but not great but our drinks and all of the small plates we ordered (crispy rice with tuna, Nigeri, Japanese chicken, and poke) were incredible!

Food was very good. The staff was attentive without being intrusive. Allowed us to just relax and enjoy the ambiance while eating our meal at our pace. I recommend the tsukemono, shishito pepper kushiyaki. The spicy crab noodles were excellent.

While Atlanta may hold the crown for the most authentic Japanese food in this region of the South, Two Ten Jack remains Chattanooga's champion for this amazing cuisine. Service: A reservation, especially on the weekends, is definitely a good idea. The hosts have been welcoming and friendly any time I've gone to TTJ. The servers are knowledgeable about the menu, which is great if you are not familiar with Japanese cuisine. Don't be intimidated and just ask for help. Food: The Japanese Fried Chicken (JFC) as an appetizer is my favorite dish to start out with. It's paired with an aioli that complements the juicy and flavorful bites very well. Drizzle that lemon on the chicken and ask for more if you want that extra touch of citrus. The hotate (yakitori) was smoky and had a subtle note of bacon that brought the scallop to life in a unique way. My friend ordered the negima (yakitori) and was extremely pleased with his choice. My go-to ramen at TTJ is the Spicy Crab Garlic Noodle. The spice level is catered to a more American palate but has enough heat to be exceptionally pleasant to my Latin-American taste buds. The crab is tender and exactly the flavor you want. The Tori Paitan Shoyu (ramen) is a close second for me with a wonderful chicken broth and traditional soft egg that delights the senses. Caveat: Note that this restaurant is marketed as upscale so keep in mind that the prices and portions will reflect that. Atmosphere: TTJ makes a wonderful spot for a date night. The subtle lighting, subterranean venue, and use of wood paneling and minimal décor make for a tasteful and relaxing experience. Ask for a booth if you want that sense of privacy that many come to expect in Japanese restaurants. It's location in Ware House Row makes it ideal for an evening stroll afterwards. TTJ may have gotten a 5-star rating from me at one point, but I have had one experience there in which my party had an inattentive server and frustratingly long wait for our food that I have not been able to forget. I also enjoy Japanese food in Atlanta regularly enough to recognize some distinctions that set these restaurants apart. For Chattanooga, however, I do recommend this restaurant become part of your rotation.

This is a great Japanese restaurant. It's a bit hard to find if you're not familiar with the area. But there's a nice sign pointing you in the right direction once you're in the warehouse. It's downstairs in this cute, airy building. When we walked in we were greeted by the hostesses and seated immediately. We ordered so much food! We had the gyoza, brussel sprouts, crab ramen, vegetarian ramen, shishuto peppers, yellowfin, sushi, and cocktails. Everything was DELICIOUS!! We ordered three rounds of the brussel sprouts and gyoza! Ha! And the ramen is so flavorful. The noodles are al dente, but they were also very tasty. The service was top tier. It started off a little bumpy, but in the end we were delighted. 10 out of 10 recommend.

The spicy crab noodles are LITERALLY the best thing that has graced my tastebuds. I never get tired of the dish - it slaps EVERY TIME. Thank you two ten for making this legendary food (also JFC is da bomb)

This place is great. We like to mix it up and share plates. Nothing bad here. Lots to explore on the menu and service is pretty quick.

Went for lunch looking for sushi. No luck. Limited lunch menu that was just ok. Tonkatsu ramen was salty but edible. Service was average. Wouldn't recommend for lunch. Maybe dinner is better.

Best meal I've had over my weekend in Chattanooga, hands down. The earliest reservation we could get for a party of four was 8:45pm, which was later than we'd like. Decided to go in at 7:45, and the hostess was able to seat us immediately in a corner booth that was very private. Hip underground warehouse vibe, with a couple bars, two separate dining areas, with windows between them. We were promptly greeted by our server, Stephanie, who took excellent care of us. We started with shochu, which was very good, but a bit too much pineapple juice for our tastes. (We skipped the pineapple juice on the next one). We sampled the on-tap rum cocktails they call, simply #'s 1, 2 & 3, as well. All tasty. I enjoyed a #3. Now, for the food... we literally made a meal out of virtually every "small plate" on the menu (two of our favorites) along with one or two ramens, some sashimi and a couple rolls. Without exception, every dish was fantastic, but the absolute must-haves, IMO, the spicy crab garlic noodles, shishito peppers, yellowtail jalapeño, pork belly and Japanese fried chicken (JFC). The sashimi and rolls were very good, as well. *Don't miss the free edamame with a Yelp check-in. Will definitely go back next time in Chattanooga!
