Where To Drink Wine In Woodinville

"It takes a sharp eye for design to really transform the glorified shipping containers that are the Warehouse District tasting rooms. Two Vintners has done it. Their space is Dullsville on the outside and a party on the inside, full of funky, colorful framed art, an atmosphere reminiscent of a chill coffee shop, and the occasional live music act to keep things from getting too stuffy. Wine-wise, there’s a great variety—you can sip Cabernet Sauvignon overflowing with stewed plum and cigar smoke notes in the same sitting as a zippy Grenache Blanc porch pounder. In particular, we’re fans of the orange Gewurztraminer (affectionately called the O.G.) which is a slap of freshly cut flowers and mandarin rind to the face. Grab a large charcuterie board and spend some time getting to know the staff and the varietals. " - aimee rizzo

Must order $150 worth of wine to get the tastings free. A bit steep. Wine was that great. Not that it was bad. Ordered the charcuterie board. Never got it. It wasn't on the bill luckily. Not like they didn't hear us since we went back and forth on which size. They were walking around filling tasting glasses, however not ours. Decent looking place, very kid and dog friendly. Good live music however it ended right after we got there. Worth another try... enh maybe...

Very friendly group of folks, enjoyable wine and good food. My friend remarked twice on how clean it is too. I was taken here by good friends. We enjoyed a tasting and some good. I'm partial to a sweet white as the weather warms and enjoyed the Grenache Blanc and the rosé. After the tasting we had a glug of the Stone's Syrah which was my favorite. The good is very good too. We enjoyed charcuterie, baked Brie and the beans.

I really enjoyed my visit here. Everything seemed just right from the drinks and tapas to the decor and games. This place is tucked off like many other wineries I've been to lately and I must say the hidden ones seem to be the most fun. This one has such an entertaining interior for both a cozy date night or laughs with friends. Their wine selection is absolutely amazing. I can't remember all of the wines I tried, but none disappointed. Ok, maybe one was just ok, but all the rest were seriously taste making me come back for more just to make sure it really was that tasty. Thank goodness they serve tapas. I didnt think Id stay as long as I did, but once I got settled in I took full advantage of the space. This ment I ended up gaining a bit of an appetite. Their tapas really hit the spot. The best part. They paired so well with the wines. Not one time did my stomach disagree. Lol. Did I mention they have foosball?? I only played for a sec as I got distracted by more food and drink then realized I should probably relax before heading outing. Before and after I played I could hear others really enjoying themselves both at the table and literally every where else at the location. Mt only regret was not grabbing a bottle to go on the way out. I'll be sure to come back soon.

Delicious wines and dogs are welcome. Ended up joining their wine club! They have joined with Convington..Their rose Yo mama rose and the Zinfandel are great. The is my all time favorite. Celebrated my bday there! Charcuterie boards are delicious!

Google
We had such a lovely time here. The room is large and relaxing and the wine is fabulous! We celebrate my late mom’s birthday at places she would’ve loved, and this year was a total win. Plus our kids were entertained by the many kid friendly activities around. Great wine, friendly staff and wonderful location. We will be back!

Google
Great place for a private event. Can easily fit 50-80 people. They offered excellent wine selection, a few beer options and soft drinks. Food was amazing, taco bar and warm chocolate chip cookies after taco bar. Food is served in regular plates and stainless steel cutlery (no disposables). There is only one restroom which can be inconvenient at times. There is a table soccer.

Yelp
Love this winery so much! In the warehouse district you never know what to expect. This location feels fresh and new, with trendy decor and nice seating areas. There is plenty of room with both a public and private event side. It's great for groups or to book for your own private party. There is even a kid area with books and a play space, a foosball table, and more. Let's not skip the fact that the wines are amazing! Really nice Syrah and I believe it was a chenin blanc just released I really liked too. Def recommend this winery, I have a great time every time I am there!

Yelp
Had a Yelp Elite event here a few months ago and bought two bottles- one white and one red. Husband got the 2019 Merlot and I bought the 2022 Grenache Blanc. He really enjoyed drinking the Merlot tonight and the Grenache Blanc is super smooth- not dry and just a hint of sweetness which I love. I don't love spending a ton for wine but supporting a local business for $25 and $29 for the white and red wines was an easy yes. I sipped on the husbands wine (although I don't love red wine bc it's usually dry and not sweet and gives me headaches) and it was nice. While at the Yelp event we felt the dove was cozy and chill vibe even with all the elites chatting and being a bit noisy. At some point soon we will be back.

Yelp
What a fun time we had at tonight's @yelp Elite event at @twovintners winery in Woodinville. We tasted some delicious wines & snacks, enjoyed good music and conversation with other Seattle Yelpers. Thanks to David and Cindy Lawson, owners of @covingtoncellars and Two Vintners (who started as home winemakers in their garage) and winemaker Morgan Lee for showing the Yelp community a great time. Thanks also to Lauren P., our Yelp Seattle Community Director for organizing the event. #seattleyelpelite #yelplife

Yelp
We enjoyed the winery very much! From their drinks to appetizers it was all delicious. I loved the bruschetta and Lawson wine the most but can't go wrong with anything. Small winery but plenty of space. They are dog friendly, have foosball, and you're able to host events here if you'd like. I'll definitely be back. We left with a bottle of Lawson and can't wait to enjoy it at home later next week.

Yelp
Great wine and staff. Each pour on the flight was better and better. #warehousewinedistrict

Yelp
Great winery! So accommodating and kind. We have a large group for a company holiday party wine tasting and they sat us at a big table in the back, all together (we were planning on just splitting up at separate tables like how we reserved it). The employees there were very friendly and polite and the little kids play area was perfect for our group who had a total of 5 kids between the 16 of us. It was a great time with great wine! 10/10 would recommend!

Yelp
Like other reviews their wine has heavy tannins that fill the bottom from one pour, including the rose has crystallization. When I asked about the staff about it they brushed it off and were rude. Plus it's expensive for what you get. All terrible wine that has over powering tobacco notes. The tasting room is fine but not a lot of tables and oddly laid out. We will not be back and do not recommend.

Yelp
Two Vintners never informed me, even after making a reservation, that they were closed for a private party for club members. Our group was shunted off to a partner winery to sip wines from both wineries. Our 12:15 appointment was not treated warmly, and I felt we were not wanted. A table was procured in the warehouse for the five of us, and wines were unceremoniously placed in front of us. There was a sheet of paper describing each one. Never have I experienced a tasting room with such a cold affect. Fortunately, I stopped Christine to ask a couple of questions, and her graciousness saved the tasting. She was the best thing about our wine tasting. Two Vintners has a tasting room in Seattle. One day in the future, I will try these wines again. On this November Saturday, before Thanksgiving, Two Vintners Winery did not impress, and evidently, they didn't want to.

Yelp
This is a great place for a casual, fun wine tasting in Woodinville. Met up with some friends on a Saturday afternoon and there was plenty of space, which is was great! The sommelier that poured our wine was very welcoming, friendly, and fun! We also had a small charcuterie board to pair with our wine and it was perfect. Highly recommend checking it out :)

Yelp
This looks place was wonderful to spend a Friday night. The service was excellent and they had a great band playing as well.

Yelp
Same owner as the Covington and they combine space and tasting. Friendly staff and nice tasting room, but I am not a fan of the style of wines they are making. If you like heavy tannins in wine. This is your place. For me after tasting 6 of their reds, everything just seems like a dry tannins mess to me. Also, comparing to other wine makers. These two companies like to have lots of Impurities in their bottles, to the point of coating wine glasses and the glasses was rinsed off 3 times over 6 tastings. This is not the norm, and I wish I had taken a picture. We asked about it, and the staff said this is normal to them. Oh well. It is safe to say we will not join their wine club.

Yelp
This was a great place! The owner was knowledgable and easy to get along with. Our friends highly suggested this place and I felt like they did a great job leading us to this place. The atmosphere was amazing and wines were on point. They follow mask rules which is to be expected. Bathrooms were clean and there is a bunch of funny. things on the wall which shows how creative they are. I ended up buying to two bottles and can't wait to open them up later. If you're reading this and you are on the fence about this place, please add this to your stops. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Great find in the Artisan Hill area of Woodinville, just south of the Warehouse District. Friendly staff with about 5-6 pours, including an excellent zinfandel that I've rarely seen in WA state. I also bought their 100% cinsaut that was a light red that would be perfect for summer days when you're not in the mood for a white. I wasn't a fan of their "O.G." white wine, it was like drinking orange rind. A little unique with the kid's play area, but it works. Definitely will revisit in the future.

Yelp
Found this place on the Alaska Airlines list of wineries that give free tastings to those that have an Alaska Airlines mileage card! Not a bad deal! You can taste 4-5 different wines with the tasting fees waived! And all their wines are unique and pretty delicious. They're a smaller winery and make smaller batches of each wine but they definitely are unique and pretty good. The tasting manager told us the story of how 2 Vintners became the name of the winery and how they name their wines in honor of family members of the wine makers themselves. He was definitely knowledgeable and friendly. We were the only customers on Xmas eve and they had the Seahawks game on! Which was a plus plus. The winery/tasting room itself was in the lower warehouse district in woodinville and is not anything fancy but there is a playroom for the kids while the adults drink wine and the Claire and Zinfandel were fantastic. Make Haste was interesting and the Legit was also good. Overall, great wines for a small place!

Glenda J.

Yelp
Another great winery with generous pours. Very unusual in that there is a back section behind a large curtain for a kids play room. Long bench seating along the one side of the room. TV monitor is a projector onto the curtain. Great wines and if you look for wineries who are part of the Alaska Airlines Winery - your tasting is free.

Yelp
Why have such a great play area, but no changing table in the bathroom? Wine is great, but disappointed to have to change my daughter's diaper on the bathroom floor. Yuck!

Yelp
Fantastic wines and staff, with affordable tasting fee and bottle prices. A fantastic HUGE kids play room behind the TV projection curtain, suited for a wide variety of fun for the kids while adults kick back and enjoy. Fantastic kid-friendly space!!

Yelp
Super wine, great pouring staff, great vibes. We came as a group of 5 with the Woodinville Wine Country passports and were treated very well, which had not been our experience with it so far that day (exception also for Tertulia Cellars-yay!). We bought several bottles and can't wait to go back. When we went they were pouring one white and the rest was red, which is 100% ok with me. Also got clued in on their cool kid space 'behind the curtain'. I have four kids and it's not easy to find anywhere we can go and all enjoy ourselves. You can bet I'll be visiting this tasting room again soon! What we loved/bought: Two Vintners Merlot, Syrah and Make Haste. Loved the Sal, so much really, but didn't buy this time around

May B.

Yelp
This tasting room stands out from others on the passport. Generous 7 pours of very smooth wines. Knowledgeable wine maker. One large communal table and standing room at a bar. Kids play area behind a curtain. Probably best suited for preschoolers. Spacious area but dimly lit. It was quite busy but the staff were focused and efficient. This is a place we'd visit again

Yelp
Best winery in Woodinville. Randy was absolutely fabulous and entertained us for an hour. Some days are diamonds and some days are stones. We definitely found our diamond here! Couldn't have for a better 40th birthday celebration. If you're looking for a pick me up go and visit Randy. The wine is amazing and the vibe in the tasting room is out of this world. My favorite wine is the wine that's in my glass.

Yelp
Lovely place! Casual atmosphere, especially great if you're bringing kids. Interesting and sometimes challenging wines. Would've liked if the pourers gave us a better overview of the wines with each pour.

Yelp
Right next to Covington cellars, Morgan and Lola (the dog) have a great set up, there's an area in the back for your little ones to play and entertain themselves, right behind the magic curtain. All the wines are very good, check them out!

Yelp
Kids in a tasting room? WTF? Glasses that smelled like Cascade cleaning fluid. Mediocre wine and service. I miss Napa and Sonoma.

Yelp
Came here for a Winery Tour in September and fell in love with their Zinfandel. I bought two bottles, and those are long since gone. I have not stopped talking about this wine. Can't wait to go back and buy more.

Pierre G.

Yelp
The winemaker is Morgan Lee, who also works with Covington Cellars I attended their release party on Jan. 30, 2010 - I tasted - 2008 Make Haste ($13): served with a Prawn and Bacon Croquette and Pesto Aioli A very well done everyday wine & good value A bit harsh on the finish, but food friendly - 2008 Walla Walla Valley Syrah ($21 - new release): served with a Capicola Tarte with Basil drinking well now soft and fragrant - 2008 Pepper Bridge Vineyard Merlot ($29): served with a Beef and Cheddar Calzone my favorite - smooth and luscious There are other wines offered; Morgan promises a white grenache from Boushey Vineyards in the future; I'll be back to sample his work....

Yelp
Recently having a baby we ventured out for a glass of wine on a relaxing weekend. Not long after finding Two Vintners we fell in love with their wine and tasting room. They have an entire back room dedicated for small children with toys and games. Their wine is great and their staff was friendly. I highly recommend taking a look at their wine club, they have amazing parties and food service.

Tamara G.

Yelp
I first tasted the Two Vitners Grenache Blanc at Village wines and thought it was fantastic. A month or two later, my boyfriend and I tried their Zinfandel at Prime Steakhouse in Redmond and loved it, too, so I contacted Two Vitners and inquired about their wine club through their website. Kerri called me on the phone and was friendly and informative about their club benefits so I decided to join, and I am so glad I did. The November release took place shortly after I joined, and although I was unable to attend the party it sounded like a blast. I stopped by the next day to pick up my allocation, and the place was packed. They insisted I take time for a tasting despite the fact that they were very busy, and took their time offering tasting notes, pairing ideas, and told me the stories behind the wines and even the designs of the individual labels. I was really impressed at the level of service and attention I received on such a busy day. Morgan even offered to carry my wine to my car. That particular allocation had a very unusual gewurztraminer called the OG, which really wowed my friends at a dinner we hosted a few weeks later. It has a heavily floral bouquet, tastes of grapefruit, and has none of the sweetness you would associate with this varietal. If you host wine parties and do blind tastings, I would suggest adding this wine to the mix. It will certainly keep the guessing! About a month ago I went back to tasting room with some girlfriends and once again had a great experience - the place had at least a dozen other customers tasting while we were there but somehow Randy made us feel like we were the only people in the room. He was fun, friendly, knowledgeable and interactive - at one point he and I actually sang a duet! You could tell the other customers were having a blast as well, everyone was smiling, laughing and buying wine. A few of my friends had never tasted their wines and loved them - everyone bought at least a bottle to take home. I highly recommend the wines, tasting room, and the wine club. Club benefits include waived tasting fees, discounts on purchases and free release parties and other events. Next Saturday is their Club Member Appreciation party - free to club members with food catered by Barking Frog. They will be unveiling a special club only wine at this event and I can't wait to taste it! They also have several club member specials this month, offering steep discounts on select wines. One of the best wine clubs around!

Jose A.

Yelp
The staff definitely makes this place a venue to check out. Great story behind Lola and the wine!

Tim Z.

Yelp
This is one of the best wineries I have sampled out of 20 so far in Woodinville. No bad wines here. Their red selection is outstanding.

Yelp
II Vintners was so accommodating with planning and hosting our group of 40 people. Wonderful wine, fantastic service, comfortable space, and.... an adorable dog. Thank you to Morgan, Graham, and Randy for such a great experience! We will definitely be back soon.
