"Originally built in 1806 as a working windmill, the Twr y Felin Hotel features contemporary artwork and is decorated in an understated, modern style. Its 'Taste’ restaurant offers appealing menus which showcase seasonal Pembrokeshire produce in pared-back, modern dishes. Expect choices like local Solva crab, Welsh lamb and baked custard tart with local honey." - Michelin Inspector

We visited Twr y Felin for our wedding anniversary. We always treat ourselves with a night away each year and choose carefully based on other reviews. Twr y Felin did not disappoint. We stayed in an Oriel Unique room for £180 for Bed and Breakfast and the felt it was excellent value for such an amazing bedroom - more like suite. A card and chocolates were there to greet us congratulating us on our anniversary which was a lovely touch. As well as an en suite bathroom with both bath and shower, there was desk space, a sofa and table and outside private strip of garden with a seating area. The art in the hotel both in the bedroom and in the main building enhanced the experience. We had glorious sunshine so made the most of the opportunity to explore St. David's - an easy walk from Twr Y Felin, which is right next to the visitor's centre on the edge of the city. Breakfast is individually cooked for each resident so you need to book your breakfast time precisely so they can stagger the cooking. It included local sausages, bacon, eggs and vegetarian options were available. It was so tasty! My husband was still raving about how good the sausages were the next day! I would highly recommend a stay.

Wow, what a fabulous experience. Amazing.|Four of us visited this hotel for a 5 day break in June. My husband is disabled so we booked an accessible room, it was the best accessible room we have ever visited, my husband having his own wet room, was wonderful.|The staff are all amazing, there are no words to describe how thoughtful, kind and professional they all were. Nothing was too much trouble. Great location to walk into town, fab places to eat there, but book in advance. We did dine at the hotel twice during our stay and the food was beautiful, tasty, beautifully presented, well just fab really. |A couple of improvements, but seriously nothing major.|The lunch/bar menu is really limited, adding a gourmet burger or Caesar salad would help tremendously. |Also a slice of cake in the afternoon with a coffee/tea would be welcome. They do provide a fabulous afternoon tea, but we would have liked something small and sweet on occasions to enjoy in the lounge with a nice coffee.|These are simply my suggestions, and if these were never implemented, we would still go back time and time again.

Beautiful hotel with very attentive staff. Best bubble bath of my life! Very comfy bed and a delicious breakfast all included! Stayed here as a last minute stop as the local campsite we had booked didn't work out! Would definitely recommend and will return in the future :)

Room: we stayed in the oriel unique room. It was spacious, modern and had everything we needed. ||Breakfast: lovely pastries, granola, or a choice of cooked breakfasts. ||Evening meal: we ate once in the restaurant. It was delicious but quite pricey. Very good service. Worked out approx £175 with wine for two courses two people. ||Customer service: very good, friendly and helpful. ||Plus I had the most brilliant reflexology and also a Ayurveda facial by Fey. She was brilliant and made me want to go back. ||Location: close to the town centre and good parking availability.

A Memorable Anniversary Getaway at Twr Y Felin Hotel We recently spent a lovely couple of nights at Twr Y Felin Hotel for our anniversary, and it was truly a getaway to remember. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and guided through the hotel to our beautiful room. To our delight, we found a thoughtful card and a box of chocolates congratulating us on our special occasion—such a lovely touch! The hotel features a variety of stunning artwork creating a charming atmosphere and a welcoming lounge area, perfect for enjoying a quiet drink. The restaurant is well laid out, providing a cozy setting for our meals. One of the highlights of our stay was the peaceful and relaxing ambiance of the hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, and I must say, the food was absolutely delicious! On our last evening, the hotel surprised us with a beautiful wooden lovespoon as a gift to celebrate our anniversary. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made our experience even more special. We truly felt welcomed and cherished during our stay. Overall, it was a perfect weekend getaway, and we can't thank the staff at Twr Y Felin enough for their hospitality. We look forward to returning in the future! Thank you.

Welcomed with a lovely lady who confirmed our booking, we were early and she stated she’d call us when the room was ready. Had a walk about and then she rang us about an hour later.||On checking she showed us to the room and explained how things worked, nice touch.|Room was great, well sized and the had its own little garden area.|Shower or bath, we had a bath then out to the restaurant, that’s a different review 😁.|Up early next morning, beautiful egg’s Benedict and a sausage to boot.|All cooked fresh and hot. Plenty of coffee, tea and toast.||The whole hotel has an art gallery feel with amazing art adorning most walls.|When we left, the lady asked is there anything they could improve on, to which we sad no, as we genuinely couldn’t think of anything.|Will definitely be back

We didn't stay here, but did pop in several times to eat at the fantastic Blas restaurant and for a Wine and Cheese tasting event. The people here could not have been more helpful and friendly, the place is beautifully decorated with all kinds of fascinating artwork on display. Stylish cocktail lounge and the drinks service was excellent.
