"On the heights of Tréboul in a quiet residential district, sample fresh dishes in which market availability and organic produce are much more than a fashionable concept. Dig into a buckwheat pie of aubergines and sheep’s cheese or black Guengat pork rich in local aromas, before making your way down the coastal path to the beach below for a nap! Vegan menu." - Michelin Inspector

A good location for visiting some of Brittany’s beautiful coastline. The dark skies were great for star gazing. The restaurant inside was wonderful too. Small issues but it wouldn’t stop me staying again - the room is quite small as is the bathroom. If you’re staying with a friend in the same room, be aware that there is a window into the shower! We also needed to ask for a second towel and there was only a single loo roll by default in the room.

Nice little hotel with dedicated staff, you'd call nowadays a "boutique hotel". The have a no-kids policy but allow dogs, just to mention. The weather didn't us allow to use the garden more extensivly, unfortunately, because it looks really nice. The rooms could be a little more spacious, but you don't spend your whole 2-week holiday in such a place normally, so all good. The staff was outstanding, attentive, helpful - and the restaurant is a real recommandation!

We were looking very much forward to this stay, as Ty Mad was recommended to us on several occasions. The location is indeed great with two beaches super nearby. The owners really put a lot of attention on the interior. The overall “look and feel” of the hotel is exceptional. Apart from that, we were, unfortunately, a little disappointed as the “small things” added up. The small room is indeed super small (bed is tiny and short, hardly room for luggage, no possibility to dry bathing suits/towels). The view from our room was fantastic though. There is a wonderful garden but no service, if you want a coffee or drink you need to go inside and knock at the kitchen. It’s great to have a sauna but there is no place were you could chill out afterwards. The dinner menu was good but we have had similar menus for less in Bretagne and it was sometimes difficult to grab the attention of the waiters.

The cocoon room is too tiny for comfort, no place to hanging towels, sink is so small and around it is not comfortable to stand, water pressure weak for shower. The room is super hot located in the rooftop, even is September. I could not get other rooms because it’s all booked. Definitely overpriced for this room. Also the restaurant is bit overpriced for what we get, food and service fine.

Perfect location with easy walking access to the sea and harbour. Great service with really helpful staff and lovely food, we had both lunch and dinner and both were excellent. We stayed one night but were sorry to leave and definitely plan to return for a longer stay.

We booked 11 rooms for a car group a couple of years ago and have only just made the trip. It was perfect in all respects, the patron was very accommodating with a few last minute changes in dining requirements, the breakfast and dinners were excellent, the rooms varied in size and price, but even the smaller rooms were well received. Nicely furnished and well kept building and grounds. A bit difficult to find even with sat nav but easy with practice. We just fitted into the car park but there is parking down quiet streets nearby, no issues or concerns.||||We were a chatty bunch of friends but no-one complained, it is not a place for late night drinking. The garden is suitable for relaxing with a book with drinks ordered from reception.||||The staff were excellent and worked with a smile, drinks orders and food delivery to the tables was accurate and timely. The chef was able to cope with dietary requirements, most of which were pre-ordered. The continental breakfasts were plentiful and of high quality.||||A great place for access to the local sandy beaches and the town with a bit of a walk. Not a tourist trap for the masses and it suited us as a base for touring around or relaxing. It will be nice to return soon. Many thanks for looking after us.

What a lovely stay! Stayed here overnight with our dog and the receptionist(owner?) was really friendly, got us upgraded to a bigger room. The rooms are lovely and beautifully decorated. The breakfast is good, an addition of a hot option would be nice but it's still a very delicious breakfast! They are so dog friendly that our dog was able to go with us to breakfast!

My partner and I arrived without a reservation asking for a one night stay. We had a small room with a partial sea view, which was fine. The hotel is beautiful and in a remote spot in Treboul, not far from a small beach. The restaurant was closed for dinner so we were directed to ‘La Capitainerie’. a ten minute walk along the coast in the pouring rain! The next day my partner wasn’t feeling well and the young man on Reception very kindly arranged for us to move to another superior room for a second night. Fortunately I booked for dinner, which was delicious - the restaurant was full. I chose burrata to start, followed by goujons of hake on vegetables, then a plate of cheeses. Breakfast on our first morning was good, however on the second morning at 0930 there were no croissants or juice and I had to ask for more baguette. Service was good, especially Reception. We’ll happily return.
