Tyson Truck Gate

They do not unload on the weekends. People are nice at the guard shack and the shag drivers. Plan to be here a while at the Loves or QuickTrip that is near once your drop your trailer. A while is 8-10 hours.

This is like other Tyson Foods I have been to, very disinterested security guards and no room to maneuver around. Checked in with security guard and acting like I was bothering him I got checked in and told to drop empty trailer in the back and that my loaded trailer was upfront to left of the guard shack. Had to slide tandems to rear to enter property but slid them back forward just to get trailer into a spot. (Slid them back to rear in spot) Picked up loaded trailer, got paperwork after waking up the guard.

Please just give our bills upon entry. This saves the driver time as we finish our call to the company etc before leaving. It also makes it easier for YOU because all you must do is check that the info matches the bills upon us leaving. This is common practice EVERYWHERE and also, common sense. They don’t give you anywhere to stop, park, or sleep, so you must LEAVE and if there are any issues with the bills…… I guess you get to turn around and drive back from wherever you go to. They also make you slide your tandems BEFORE you enter in to navigate their teeny tiny tight lot that wasn’t designed for semi trucks. Have fun,I almost ripped my fairings off Tyson is also infuriating because they never give me a TOTALS page! I end up having to add together numerous pages and numerous PO numbers to get the info right and it’s still confusing because I can only assume the info is correct since I do not have a TOTALS page, again COMMON PRACTICE everywhere else, NOT TYSON!

MT trailer lot way over full, very challenging to get around the whole facility. I had called early in day spoke with Mathew to check on load he said they were on time but since load's DDT wasn't till tomorrow then it would be ready until tomorrow. Hats off to Mathew, it is so nice to talk to someone that's actually honest and willing to tell me that. that's why the 5 stars. Tyson, Mathew deserves a raise.

10h + and still not empty, when asked about when will we be unloaded no one will communicate with you, so if you have self respect never go her! igoogel need to start doing -stars

The early bird doesn’t get the worm here! I arrived at 6:54am for my 7am delivery. Did the check in proceedings(tandems back etc.) Made the left and unhooked where I was told and given location options to bobtail to and wait. Before leaving I asked when I should call to check on status of my trailer which I think is dumb. Y’all should call me. Anyway, I was told call after 4hrs! …10hrs later my trailer still hasn’t been worked in and unloaded. Both my company and I had to call up and make a fuss in order to get something done. It’s 5pm now and the supervisor says he pulling my trailer now to be unloaded and it’ll be done in the next 1 1/2 hr. So we’ll see smh. UNACCEPTABLE (8/11/25)

Tyson should teach their employees customer service etiquette. It's 0045 on 1/12/26 and your security has little to no communication skills with a customer when they call. A little common courtesy goes a long way.

8/5/25 this was a drop and hook here. No issues for me. I was able to drop the trailer early ( which had to be clean and full of fuel), and then bob-tailed down to the local truck stop. They gave me a number to call to see when the load was ready. No overnight parking at the facility
