Sweet Maple Brunch Restaurant Brings ‘Millionaire’s Bacon’ to Santa Monica | Eater LA

"I note that the Santa Monica Sweet Maple will feature select drinks from U Dessert Story, a Bay Area dessert spot that I’m told Choi is also a part-owner of, and that some of U Dessert Story’s colorful, decorated sweets may soon appear on the Sweet Maple menu." - Cathy Park

The Best Dishes Eater San Francisco Editors Ate This Week | Eater SF

"I tried the salted egg yolk milk tea with a cheese cream top and crumbled egg yolk — instead of a punchy salted profile it was a subtle, well-balanced milk tea with a pleasant savory undertone that made for a thoughtful afternoon treat." - Lauren Saria

I visit this spot every time I want to treat myself after completing a stressful semester. Every time I get the mango sticky rice toast and it’s absolute perfection! It comes with a side of pandan coconut sticky rice and mango sauce, but I always ask for the coconut sauce instead because the coconut sauce is better, and traditionally mango with sticky rice is served with the coconut sauce, not mango sauce. I tried deviating for my usual once, and I ordered the salted egg yolk toast and I wasn’t impressed. 4 stars because it is pricey, and the mango sticky rice toast should be served with coconut sauce.

Google
Dark warm melty chocolate cake is high quality. Matcha ice cream is relatively consensed and matching with dark chocolate. Dark chocolate is not too sweet. When I lived in Tokyo, I ate the same desert. I think dark chocolate quality is the same or more high quality. Service is fast and kind during restaurant is busy. Dark light is good. Little expensive but it's worth to have good experience.

Google
My friends and I enjoyed the ambiance, and the presentation of the desserts was visually appealing, as you can see from the pictures. However, the taste and overall quality didn’t quite meet our expectations; the desserts didn’t feel very fresh. Considering the price point, we felt there were better options available elsewhere. The service was fine, but nothing particularly exceptional given the gratuity that was charged.

Google
We ordered 18 layer Crepe cake w coconut extra. One drink and a fried tempura. Food looks pretty but I think it’s really overpriced. Over $60. I think it’s way too pricey and the quality of service doesn’t match the food, plus we just self ordered w our phones

Today, I had a wonderful time with my friends! We indulged in some delicious treats, including Honey Brick Toast for $20.00, Tempura Shrimp for $13.00, Cheese Fries for $14.00, and a refreshing Thai Tea drink for $6.50 with lite ice. We also tried a delightful Fired Boba Brown Sugar for $7.50 and ended our meal with Mango Sticky Rice Bingsu for $22.00. Although the place was a bit bustling, we made the most of it by sitting at the counter. Sharing our food was a little tricky, but we managed just fine! The restaurant, while small, was beautifully decorated and exuded a cozy atmosphere that made our experience even more enjoyable. It was definitely worth it!

Google
Very cute little shop to grab dessert at. It was very easy to walk in and get a seat, they immediately brought us water and informed us how to view the menu. We had the Double Fromage Lychee Cheesecake and the Hojicha Banoffee. The presentation was great and the flavor was really excellent. This is not a complaint, but the slices are big! The lychee cheesecake is Japanese style so very fluffy and light with a very flavorful lychee ice cream. The banoffee crust was perfectly browned and caramelized. Service was prompt and attentive even for just dessert!

Google
What a great place to grab dessert! This place is popular, at least it was the night I went. This place was packed and did have a little short wait. But I understand why. The staff was efficient. But the food is where you get to brag. Their Milo cheese drink, flippin’ delicious, of course simple but with their spin, is awesome. I also tried my first brick toast, and I didn’t realize it would taste this good. You figure its only just toasted bread; how good could it be? But it was great as well. The Bingsu was top notch as well, the simplicity but all the add-ons make is flavorful ride. Crepe cakes slices are my favorite, love crepes and love thai tea. Even though we came for desserts, I did see they offer savory foods as well. As far as parking goes, I’m sure it’s busy depending on the day and time. I came to this place on scooter, so if you’re game, have fun on your way there and treat yourself to something sweet!

Google
I've been to the one in San Francisco, so I expected this spot to be just as packed. To my surprise it wasn't, which is really nice. Busy but not packed. I wanted to show U :Dessert Story off to my husband, and he was impressed with the atmosphere, the cute set up, and the beautiful mural. We got a cake trio. It was all so delicious, the Thai was my husband's favorite, mine was all three (I'm not picky, he is). I totally recommend U :Dessert Story even for the little the Volcano Bingsu was a big hit with all four of my kids, the presentation is beautiful (we had this in Frisco). We'll definitely be back to try some of the drinks and food soon.

Yelp
Sidewalk is under construction right now, but U:Dessert Story is still open for business! Visited with a friend, and we dined in. We entered the restaurant to dark, moody lighting and cramped-yet-cozy tables. We were seated promptly by staff. We ordered the Double Fromage Honey Yuzu Cheesecake and the Hojicha Banoffee. Double Fromage Honey Yuzu Cheesecake: good, but personally not my taste. really yuzu heavy, rich cheesecake, but I wish it was more honey forward. I didn't taste any honey flavor in my slice. I like that the cheesecake has divots in the top for the yuzu sauce to sit in. The sauce is in a little plastic dropper stabbed into the cheesecake top, and you can take squirt it to your liking onto the cheesecake. 3.5/5 Hojicha Banoffee: liked this better than my cheesecake! the nutty, roasted hojicha cream complimented the almond, caramel, and banana well. still not personally my taste, but several of my foodie friends would definitely love this one. 4/5 I recommend to visit during construction while it's not so busy!!

Yelp
The food was awesome! We were really happy that they also had some savory items to go with their extensive dessert menu. Ordering was simple, via a QR code that brought you to site to order from. While we placed our order online the service was very friendly and helpful. Since we ordered both sweet and savory they checked to see if we wanted e returning at once or not. The appetizer plate was the perfect size for 4 of us. Enough for everyone to get some but left us room for our desserts. The fries were particularly addicting. The strawberry smoothie was tasty but not too unique. The matcha cheesecake was really light and had a good matcha flavor. It paired really well with the matcha ice cream. The strawberry croffle was really good. A nice crunch even with the cream on top. The pandas sauce was really good. We had to take the left over sauce home. Only 4 stars because it's really pricey. But I guess that's downtown Berkeley for you! We'll be back though when we are in the area, so it's not so pricey where it's unreasonable.

Yelp
I took so many photos of that choco matcha lava cake because it was as beautiful as it looked in the advertisement !! I've never had a chocolate lava cake with MATCHA for the filling, it was incredible and so beautiful!! There was also this cool cookie crunch underneath the scoop of matcha ice cream that was such a lovely match-up of all textures and temperatures of this dessert! I love it so much I would come here and be tempted to order it again if not for the fact it looks like they have so many other delicious options in the menu. I am in love with matcha desserts so I'd be interested in trying some of their drinks in the future and their bingus look SO amazing too!! Excited to revisit again!! The service was nice! I wish I got my waiter's name to give him a shout out! He was quick to attend to us and take us to our seats. The ambiance is lovely, a nice cafe to take your partner to and enjoy a sweet treat together! :) Much recommend.

Yelp
I brought my FIL here one late afternoon as he was craving bingsu since I first introduced it to him during a trip to Taiwan (ironic being that Taiwan was his first introduction to this delicious dessert rather than Korea where he had visited before). There was only 1 other occupied table when we arrived, so we had our pick of seating options. They have a decent amount of seating inside the premise, as well as a few outdoor tables also. We opted for the Mango Sticky Rice Bingsu. The size portion was huge, so we were able to share amongst the 3 of us. Comes with a side of condensed milk, mango puree, and green sticky rice. The bingsu had a generous amount of thick, fresh mango inside. And the snow ice was very fine, smooth, and melts in your mouth. The addition of the sticky green rice was a nice touch. As it added a complimentary warmness that paired well with the cold bingsu. The prices here for everything are on the high end. But given the large portion sizes, not too bad if you average it out amongst a party.

Yelp
Cute date spot. Really nice selection of desserts to choose from, with pretty exotic/Asian flavors. We got the Thai tea lava toast and mango sticky rice bingsu to split between the 3 of us. Definitely have to be okay with sharing food, unless you're soloing a dessert (but that's no fun!) The lava toast is fun since they take a block of bread carve it out and build inside of it. Highly recommend both. One thing to note is the sound environment is a bit noisy, my girlfriend could hear a few conversations from around the cafe even though we were tucked towards the back. If you see this review, definitely give them a try!

Yelp
Every time I come here I always debate trying something different since their menu has a lot of options. But ultimately it comes back to these two: the chocolate matcha lava cake and mango sticky rice bingsoo. It was my parents' first time trying the bingsoo and they polished it off despite claiming to be full. They stopped serving the whipped cream with the lava cake but it's a good sweetness as-is so no complaints there.
google avatar

Zach D.

Yelp
The food was alright, but was refreshing. In my opinion the food looks better than it tastes, but it's extremely expensive given how the food tastes. The bingsoo and cake slice was good, but the toast felt lackluster and dry. The service was also on the slower side but that was okay. TLDR: okay on special occasions for the pictures, but to fulfill your cravings I'd recommend elsewhere as the prices were a bit too high in my opinion. If the Bingsoo was priced in the $16-18 range I'd recommend this place.

Yelp
This is a super cute dessert place close to campus and I used to come often as a student. The interior is very aesthetic and the food is very "instagrammable." That said, the prices are extremely expensive. An ube mochi waffle topped with ice cream, fruits, and oreos was $25. We also got a thai tea toast block which was $22. Including tax and tip, it came down to almost $20 per person for our group of three. We were all super full at the end, so it still ended up being sorta worth it, but if you come with big eaters then I wouldn't be so sure. The thai tea toast block was delicious and there was some sauce on the plate to dip your toast into.
google avatar

Herman L.

Yelp
Had a hankering for dessert and gave the ube ice a try. It's a massive portion and tastes great. Almost wish I brought someone to share it with. Service is quick and it seemed like a good hangout spot. Might even be able to use the outdoor seating if it were just a bit warmer. Prices seem a bit steep but I guess it's the novelty of it? Worth a splurge though.

Yelp
We are Baaacckkkk! For this amazing iteration of U :Dessert Story, we had the pleasure of trying the mango sticky rice toast and the young coconut pandan crepe cake. The toast was a big surprise! Hidden under the ice cream are tasty and crunchy cubes of sweet bread toast, think sweet croutons. So yummy with the melted ice cream and mango puree, and the rice being a yummy change in texture. The crepe cake was super mild (in the best way possible) and paired wonderfully with the cream covering the whole slice. The best part, the chunks of young coconut in the creme. We ate the crepe cake like monsters (aka layer by layer in thin sheets covered in crème). The vibes of the Resturant were great as always, with the insanely festive happy birthday lights and song, and very fast service. I cannot wait to continue to try this menu.

Yelp
This place should be called My Dessert Story because I could be here for p-ages! They have baked sweets, cold sweets, warm bites and hot treats. We had a sampler with wings, onion rings and such. The zingy wingy sauce was bomb. It was tangy, sweet, sticky and the wing crust was perfectly crispy. The desserts were incredible and def added inches to my waistline but welllllll worth it! The shaved ice assortments were amazing. The chocolate one was my fav and the ice just melts in your mouth! Two yumz up and we'll def be back for more!

Yelp
Food was hot and flavorful. The menu options are vast. From sweet to savory. There's something for everyone. We tried to cheese corn dog- had cheese and fish sausage inside. Very flavorful and crunchy. The honey on the outside gave it a different flavor. Next we had the chicken and fries. The wings were fried well and seasoned with love. The wedges were hot and crispy. The dipping sauces were cold- kind of a temperature shock compared to the food. We had dessert as well. The lychee cake with the cheese. Idk how to describe it but wow. It was good. Especially with the fresh lychee fruit on top. My daughter tried the matcha chocolate lava cake. It was very lava-like. It came with a small dish of matcha ice cream. Overall the food and service were good, but the restaurant smells like old dust. The seating is either velveteen-like cloth or bar stools. The fabric doesn't smell clean or like it's been vacuumed recently. It also has food stains on them. The walls are white so stains show up easy and there were quite a bit of them. Quite a bit of flys as well.

Yelp
Wanna try something so refreshing you'll crave and come back for more?? Welcome in and order their sticky rice mango bingsoo!!! Super yummy!! They even give you a side of condensed milk and puréed mango to top it off! Service is great, nice and friendly. Calm and picturesque location. Across the street from Sweetgreens and Marugame. Ambiance is serene and intimate if you go early in the day.
google avatar

Joyce L.

Yelp
5/5 for the yuzu cheesecake. Inside there's the plain cheese cake portion where it's soooo fluffy and soft. Never had one like this before, the other layer is the yuzu cheesecake part and it's not too sweet. Aaahhh I should've to go some because I'm craving it right now! Mango sticky rice shaved ice is aite, the mango was super raw. The salted egg yolk croffle tastes just like the Chinese salted egg yolk bun. Mmm so yummy. I love this location better than the one in SF. Inside is super clean and organized and no lines!
google avatar

Ray L.

Yelp
Atmosphere is pretty, but the menu items are definitely a bit overpriced. I would say the bingsu size is splittable up to 2 people max, as it is a pretty small serving for bingsu, compared to other bingsu places I have been to in CA. The yuzu cheesecake is pretty good! But again, the size for the price may not be worth. There are some parking in the neighborhood behind the store.
google avatar

Tsung-Yen W.

Yelp
If you love unique desserts, this place is a must. I tried the honey citrus cheesecake, mango sticky rice bingsu, and salted egg croffle. The cheesecake was light with a zesty twist that kept it from being too sweet. The bingsu was refreshing and full of fresh mango and soft sticky rice, it felt like summer in a bowl. The salted egg croffle was the most unexpected favorite. Sweet, crispy, and just the right amount of savory. Great spot for sharing or treating yourself. Everything was super creative and worth trying.

Yelp
Came on a Sunday late afternoon around 6pm, no wait but it was pretty full. They do have a lot of tables so it is pretty spacious We ordered the salted egg yolk toast! If you love salted egg yolk, you will love this! Not too salty and their salted egg yolk custard sauce was yummy. It came with vanilla ice cream too 10/10 I love their toast selection, will definitely come back to try the other flavors
google avatar

Yelp
Clean location and friendly staff. Online ordering system via QR code taped to the table. The cakes are YUMMYYYYYY
google avatar

Yelp
Best Thai dessert place in Berkeley! The serving is generous to share and you can add more toppings. The spicy ramyon is tomyum mama instant noodles with Seafood. You can add more noodles for $4 and more soup for $7 if you want to share with 3-4 adults. The highlight is the Bingsu, Thai tea flavor was amazing and the snow ice texture was so smooth and fine. Sticky rice, grass jelly, boba topping were our favorites. They get very popular so order quickly via qr code scanning at the table. food and dessert take quite some time to prepare.
google avatar

Hanny M.

Yelp
My shaved ice dessert was amazing, I love coming here to enjoy dessert. My wings were okay.
google avatar

Sarah Z.

Yelp
Great dessert spot! Their menu has a variety of items and lots of great sharing options as well. The interior was spacious and service was super quick. You order by scanning the QR code. What we ordered: 1) Organize Chocolate Matcha Lava Cake: 5/5 it was super goo-ey and matcha profile was extremely prevalent! It was sweet but bitter at the same time, in a good way. It was decadent! 2) Volcano Bingsoo: 3/5 this was delicious and I loved that with every bite I was tasting and biting into something new. The only thing is I wish the bingsoo itself would've stayed frozen longer--it seemed to have melted extremely quick. Also, I feel like most of the dessert was just cream on top. Basically I just wished there was more bingsoo itself! Overall great spot to hang with friends.
google avatar

Joshua S.

Yelp
Honestly disappointing. Mid tier. Also overpriced. Wouldn't come back. Snow Bowl in San Ramon is better and cheaper for Bingsoo. Bingsoo, brick toast, and croffles were all 2.5-3 stars. Service is good. The place is nice and clean, and the water flow of the bathroom sink is nice lol, no aerators
google avatar

Saher D.

Yelp
my friend and I came ready to eat and their service was super quick! I loved the ube bingsu- I read all about the bingsu in the comments so I had to try! super worth it! it's not too sweet and it melts in your mouth (I was expecting a snow cone but this was a great surprise since I love ice cream) we also ordered the hojicha layered cake. I wasn't too big of a fan- I gave it a 5/10 but my friend gave it an 8/10. I think it just wasn't for my palette but if you like hojicha, it's def worth trying. I definitely wanna try the rest of the menu so i'll be back!
google avatar

Eli L.

Yelp
Ventured here strictly for the bingsu. Mango sticky rice bingsu came out to just about $25, very costly compared to other bingsu places. The bingsu itself was nothing incredible, very small amount of sticky rice on the side, the mango was fresh and the mango puree was good. Honestly they should just call it a mango bingsu, given the tiny ration of sticky rice on the side. Service was fine, they just sit you down and then you scan a QR code to order, hardly interact with staff. I wouldn't come back simply because of the prices, doesn't feel worth what you get.
google avatar

Manda N.

Yelp
Bingsu can be hard to find, and U Dessert Story does a solid job of filling that role. The Hojicha bingsu was flavorful, refreshing, and not too sweet. The size is a good shareable for 2-4 people depending on how ravenous for dessert you are, and though I didn't get to it this time, the menu looks like it's filled with lots of other yummy creations. I'd return & recommend!
google avatar

Jenner B.

Yelp
Wow! Probably the best desert place I've been to. Every desert dish we ordered was a dance on my palette! The desert was new and innovative to me! And I didn't walk away feeling sick with high fructose syrupy stuff. I didn't read the label so I don't know what is in here but it's really good! The shaved ice infused with flavors got me wondering how they did this! The staff was very friendly and well mannered and trained. There was a like to get in. So make reservations but the staff do what they can to make everyone feel welcomed! It's a happy place for celebration! People came here to celebrate birthdays! They have this cool vibe that you just need to experience! I left you pictures of our empty dishes... so good I didn't even have time to take photos of them. Besides you can see everyone else's photos of their sweet dessert!
google avatar

James W.

Yelp
Delicious desserts, but overpriced. The desserts here are exceptional, especially their Spicy Out Summer Bingsu, which has such a unique flavor, but the dishes are on the more expensive side with smaller portion sizes. I do appreciate that they offer vegan bingsu options and are accommodating for substitutions even when you order through the app, but the other bingsu flavors are a little bland and the price for their slices of crepe cakes are much too high. Haven't tried any of their snacks, but probably won't try again based on the price.
google avatar

Chad M.

Yelp
Solid dessert stop. They had Bingsoo so I had to go. I much prefer Mandro in Alameda but the ease of getting to Dessert Story probably means I will be at Dessert Story more often. Great service. Solid Bingsoo Fun to try the Ube Biscoff. I prefer the Strawberry
google avatar

Amy H.

Yelp
10/10 would come here again. There's a better chance to get seating here vs the Dessert Story in SF AND the desserts are the same quality. Food: Banoffee pie 5/5 Super lovely balance of earthy hojicha and the sweetness of banana and toffee. Absolute favorite. Ube biscoff shaved ice 5/5 Bit tough to eat neatly but very refreshing. The boba used for the shaved ice comes in a separate container and is served warm. There's a core of cookie crumble in the middle of the shaved ice which helps keep you motivated to finish the entire dessert. Signature house mochi waffle: 5/5 Served warm. The chew to the waffle is lovely. Pretty solid dish overall- mochi waffle comes with tons of toppings Service: Fast! You order via app at the table and they bring out the desserts when ready. Ambiance: Warm and cozy, lots of seating around.

Yelp
Super cute little place very close to UC Berkeley. Went with my BF and has some tasty desserts. We shared the Thai Tea Crepe cake and the Hojicha Banoffee pie, both were incredible! The interior is super cute decorated with flowers, swings, and neon signs...very instagramable! Great place if you're craving something sweet.
google avatar

Mindy H.

Yelp
Took my parents here for dessert since my mom likes bingsoo. Even though the menu didn't have anything we were particularly craving that night, the desserts were still pretty good. The place itself is pretty small so there can be a pretty long wait, especially if you are in a large group. We got the ube bingsoo which was 8/10, and the matcha cheesecake with ice cream which was 9/10. Biscoff cookie and ube is such a good combination. I also appreciate that they put the condensed milk on the side. I couldn't taste that much of the ube flavor though. Matcha cheesecake was super rich but really good in small bites with the ice cream.
google avatar

Amy L.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try the Bingsu here for a while and finally made our way to Berkeley. I made reservations but we were early and we were able to sit immediately but many arrived after us and by the time we were almost done they had a few people waiting to be seated. The Bingsu volcano was definitely video worthy. The chocolate powder with bits made it crunchy and once half way down I found some cereal flakes that made a nice texture along with a few bits of banana. Pretty pricey $22 for Bingsu and we also had a berry brick toast. I didn't try it but it looked good.
google avatar

Yelp
Tried to come here a few times and the line was long. Finally came on Wednesday 9pm and there was no line! Parking was easy since it was late already, but I imagine it's tough finding street parking during the daytime. It's super cute inside and it's actually a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. The back has a row of tables! Now to the food. Everything was amazing! We ordered mango sticky rice bingsoo, honey brick toast, and Oreo croffle. The bingsoo was super light and fluffy. Pro tip, you don't need any add ons. We got a scoop of ice cream and we barely ate it. The brick toast was great dipped in the bingsoo to soften up the toast but it remains crunchy. Without it, it's a bit dry, even with the ice cream. The Oreo croffle was really good as well. Just the right amount of Oreo and not too sweet. Would definitely come back again!
google avatar

Melissa Y.

Yelp
Was craving brick toast and stumbled upon this spot. We ordered the lychee cheesecake + mango sticky rice toast. I enjoyed the lightness of the lychee cheesecake and how it wasn't overly sweet with just an essence of lychees. Now onto the brick toast, the reason why I came here... it was like a crouton, no chew whatsoever, just straight crunch. I did like the mango ice cream and sticky rice that it came with, however the toast itself was disappointing. Spent a pretty penny on these desserts and I was hoping for more.

Yelp
Been having random cravings for shaved ice and decided to come here spur of the moment on a Sunday afternoon (though it felt very late so basically I came here for dinner). And for "dinner" I had the seasonal Ube Bingsoo. After this I've decided that: 1) I like ube 2) I like bingsoo 3) $22 for a bowl of frozen shaved ice seems like it's expensive (see prior reviews about being middle aged and no longer having a concept of money and how much things cost) 4) It seems great to share with your date .... but my husband confirmed for me that he would not share this with his man friends. They'd each get their own. I don't think I would come here every weekend, but if I had friends in town visiting or maybe a teenager visiting - this is where I'd bring them.
google avatar

Evelyn J.

Yelp
The place is so beautiful and cozy - a perfect little place to get a sweet treat. We got the volcano bingsu, so unique in my opinion. It's on the pricier end, but if you split with friends it's not a bad deal at all, in fact you probably should since's it's big portions! It's just a nice place to be, hopefully I can come back and try some of their other desserts :)
google avatar

Yelp
Always a solid place to go for desserts. And they also have very delicious food such as ramen, chicken wings, fries, etc. We ordered a Thai tea bingsu and it just hit the spot. This place is always busy so just be prepared to wait but usually the line goes quick.
google avatar

Sophie F.

Yelp
Pretty good boba and calamari. A little bit pricy but delicious. Would come back to try the bingsu!

Yelp
Absolutely love it here!! Went 3x on my last trip here. Love their wide heavily asian influence desserts and drinks. Lovely environment. Delicious desserts and treats!

Yelp
Haven't been to Berkeley in a while and I was craving a sweet treat so here I am. We ordered the soft bread with pandan fondue and the cake sampler. Like its name suggests, the bread is so soft and fluffy. It goes really well with the pandan fondue which is warm and creamy. The cake sampler was interesting. The cakes featured from left to right is a double fromage honey yuzu cheesecake, double fromage lychee cheesecake, and uji matcha basque burnt cheesecake. All of the cakes were pretty good. Can't really go wrong with any of them. The service here was decent. Our waitress was really nice. To order, you scan a QR code on the table and they bring the food to your table. The decor of the restaurant was bright and pretty. Regarding parking here, the parking situation here in Berkeley is usually pretty rough. Luckily we were able to find street parking. Definitely recommend checking this dessert spot out if you haven't already. Try it out if you like. :)

Veronica L.

Yelp
Very refreshing dessert with mango, sticky rice on the side along with condensed milk and mango puree. Seems like less mango pieces than they used to have but the mango is fresh. $22 - would probably like a little more mango than the puree. The size was good for two adults and a kid to share. My daughter was in 7th heaven

Yelp
We visited U Dessert Story last Thursday while in town for a concert, and overall, it was a great experience! The interior decorations were lovely, especially the color scheme and the hanging greenery, which really set a cozy vibe. Despite a few other customers being in the store, it wasn't overly loud, which was nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved the unique ordering system with QR codes on each table, allowing us to place orders from our phones and add them to a tab. Pretty neat! Here's a breakdown of what we tried: Mango Sticky Rice Bingsu - 4.5/5 A bit pricier than other bingsu places we've been to, but the portion size was generous. It came with condensed milk, mango puree, and sticky rice on the side. The mango was fresh, and I loved that it wasn't overly sweet. The only downside for me was the nut crumbles on top, which I didn't care for, but that's just personal preference. Overall, it was delicious. Thai Tea Crepe Cake - 4/5 Much bigger than I expected! The cake itself was light and decadent, and I appreciated that it wasn't too sweet either. I didn't really taste the Thai tea flavor in the whipped cream or crepes. The Thai tea sauce that came with it, though, had a strong, creamy flavor. For me, it was a bit too intense, but I think thai tea lovers would really enjoy it! Blue Lychee - 4/5 I wasn't expecting the lychee popping boba (I'm not a fan of popping boba), so there was a bit too much for my taste, but that's on me. The drink itself had a nice lychee-lemonade flavor, which was refreshing.

Yelp
We were so full from dinner so we only got two desserts The Thai tea 18 layer crepe cake and Thai tea lava toast was anaaaazinnnng!!! Crepe cake was so rich and creamy and the toast was so toasted to perfection with the right amount of sweetness. I really love the Thai tea flavors here including the ice cream! Ive had a lot of Thai tea everything but nothing compares to this place! We went on a Saturday late evening, an hour prior to closing and it was packed but we were seated immediately. Service is quick and staff are friendly. There is a QR menu at the table- easy to order. Street parking. We were losing their Christmas decor and Christmas playlist- very festive. Can't wait to come back again and again!

Yelp
I was so excited to finally try the bingsu at this spot! It's a super fun, sit down vibe inside with everyone enjoying their desserts and drinks. I got the classic mango sticky rice bingsu and it was so refreshing and not too sweet! The mango was ripe and all of the toppings were amazing. It is also definitely enough for 2 or even 3 people to share. I have also had the boba here and it was incredible as well!

Yelp
Another one for the memories. Tonight we ordered the Volcano bingsoo and the Honey Brick Toast! I had a huge sweet tooth for the Volcano Bingsoo with an added scoop of ice cream was so delicious. We were seated quickly at around 5pm and our server checked up on us often and was quick to refill our waters throughout the dinner/dessert. Volcano Bingsoo- If you love chocolate. THIS IS FOR YOU! There is brownie brittle on top with a layer of whipped cream which pairs nicely together with the shredded bingsoo. My favorite surprise was the cornflakes on the bottom of the bingsoo which added that extra crunch because we ate the brittle so fast.

Yelp
This spot totally delivered--every item we tried was a hit. We had the young coconut pandan crepe cake, cappuccino with Equator coffee, and the volcano bingsu. The crepe cake was delicate, creamy, and had that subtle pandan flavor that wasn't overpowering--super refreshing and not too sweet. The cappuccino was on point: strong but smooth with perfectly textured foam, and the Equator coffee gave it a rich, balanced depth. You can tell they take their coffee seriously here. And the showstopper? The volcano bingsu. It came out literally smoking--tons of visual flair but the flavors held up too. Loaded with toppings, textures, and a generous drizzle of condensed milk. It's a fun experience and delicious from the first bite to the last. Cozy ambiance, friendly service, and everything came out beautifully plated. Definitely a place worth coming back to for dessert and coffee lovers alike.

Yelp
Walked in without a reservation on a Saturday night. I always get the pandan crepe cake and it does not disappoint. The crepes are super soft and the young coconut sauce and pieces are addicting! This dessert is a must order.
