Chung Chun Rice Dog Opens Its First Seattle Location - Eater Seattle

"What is the market saturation for Korean fried chicken? Another specialist, U Dupbop, has appeared in the University District. In addition to fried chicken, the menu also consists of poke, rice bowls, and bento boxes, all at cheap prices. So far, Yelp reviews are mixed." - Megan Hill

I was waiting on some car repairs and found this nice little place. The storefront was not right on the sidewalk. It seemed really clean compared to other restaurants nearby that I checked out. I got the sesame chicken (I think) and I loved it because it was still crispy after they had sauced it. Such a good meal at a nice price in a clean welcoming place. I highly recommend!

This has been one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle for many years now! The tofu bento is always soooo good and the service is so wonderful. I moved away from Seattle but would move back just for this restaurant :) highly recommend to anyone in Udistrict looking for a delicious and filling meal!

The area is small but most small places contain a massive amount of flavor. The ambiance is astounding, the music is very pleasant, and the TV has great slides that articulate the cultural significance of the restaurant. Thank you for being a hidden gem of a restaurant. They have limited staff so early in the morning but guaranteed flavor thank you.

Very small but chill place to get Korean and Japanese food near UW. The portion and price are reasonable, and the food is also very flavorful.

very cute and homey place :) i wanted miso soup so i got the bento bowl. everything was flavorful and the salad dressing was nice. sadly missed a sauce for the gyoza but that’s kind of a lot to ask for. and bonus points for having “no tears to cry” playing

Good vibes! ^^ Kind friendly owner. Love supporting woman owned local businesses. Clean welcoming space. Outdoor seating. Root beer. Lots of Korean food around so choose wisely :) Recommended: Dakgangjeong (Chicken) Authentic Korean taste and big portion. If you prefer milder food you may think it’s a little spicy but that’s subjective!

Love this spot in the university district at UW. Walkable from campus as a student. Great place for all. Alot of options on the menu. Please always look at menus ahead of time if you are vegetarian or have food sensitivities.

One of the better Asian food options on the Ave in the U district. The place looks kinda shabby, dirty, run down from outside, but the interior was clean. Two outdoor dining sections, one in front with sun & a side, shaded, private corridor, which was perfect & cool on a hot summer day. Food was better than expected; generous portions; relatively affordable; good service; small private parking lot & limited paid street parking. Last time I ate here was a very long time ago when it was Ichiro Sushi. Support your local restaurants & small businesses 👍
