Chung Chun Rice Dog Opens Its First Seattle Location - Eater Seattle
"What is the market saturation for Korean fried chicken? Another specialist, U Dupbop, has appeared in the University District. In addition to fried chicken, the menu also consists of poke, rice bowls, and bento boxes, all at cheap prices. So far, Yelp reviews are mixed." - Megan Hill
I was waiting on some car repairs and found this nice little place. The storefront was not right on the sidewalk. It seemed really clean compared to other restaurants nearby that I checked out. I got the sesame chicken (I think) and I loved it because it was still crispy after they had sauced it. Such a good meal at a nice price in a clean welcoming place. I highly recommend!

Solid meal. Delicious, filling, and affordable. I got the chicken teriyaki for $16.50 (excluding tip) and was very pleased with the portions. Friendly staff. Good mix of seating both indoors and on an outdoor patio. I will most certainly be coming back.

So good. Jappanese, Korean, Chinese, they're doing it all. Portions are big. We went 2 days in a row despite there being 100 other restaurants nearby. Got a spicy teriyaki bento box one day, and General Tao the next. Both were excellent. All meals come with mixed greens and a nice vinagrette, and potstickers. Just go, you wont regret it.

This has been one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle for many years now! The tofu bento is always soooo good and the service is so wonderful. I moved away from Seattle but would move back just for this restaurant :) highly recommend to anyone in Udistrict looking for a delicious and filling meal!

The area is small but most small places contain a massive amount of flavor. The ambiance is astounding, the music is very pleasant, and the TV has great slides that articulate the cultural significance of the restaurant. Thank you for being a hidden gem of a restaurant. They have limited staff so early in the morning but guaranteed flavor thank you.

Love this spot in the university district at UW. Walkable from campus as a student. Great place for all. Alot of options on the menu. Please always look at menus ahead of time if you are vegetarian or have food sensitivities.

Very small but chill place to get Korean and Japanese food near UW. The portion and price are reasonable, and the food is also very flavorful.
