A destination restaurant, beautifully sited in the countryside yet just an hour away from Atlanta. What a special place, with really thoughtful and creative use of local (meaning, from the farm on which the restaurant itself is located) produce. So many creative dishes with unique flavor combinations, every course was simply a revelation - some were just incredibly tasty, others were perhaps more interesting than delicious (though none were bad), but they were all so thoughtful, beautifully presented and on the whole, this is easily (multiple) Michelin-star caliber dining. And yet, the highlight of the experience was host Kara - a great conversationalist with an exceptional eye for detail. I can't remember the last time I felt hospitality like that.
I wish more people knew about this place, it's easily the best restaurant I've been to this year.
