I appreciate that this restaurant at least appears to take feedback from customers on here. We ordered fried tofu appetizer, crispy rice salad with tofu, and a side of glass noodles. The fried tofu bites were small, about half the size of normal tofu bites, and did not taste fresh at all. The peanut dipping sauce was weak and nondescript. For $10.95 I would hope 6 pieces of fried tofu is much better. The crispy rice dish was really oily, and again the fried tofu in it looked and tasted like it was cooked a long time ago. The ingredients did not taste fresh. That's by far my biggest complaint, especially for the prices.

My partner and I stopped here on our way to Portland recently and it was so good. I ordered the red curry dish and my partner ordered the pad thai. They do not mess around about their spice levels, so be cautious when deciding your spice level. All around the flavors were absolutely divine and our food arrived very quickly. The place itself is very cute and has a lot of art to look at/purchase. Would definitely stop here again on our travels.

Amazing Thai place in the middle of Eugene. Despite the extensive menu, our food came out unbelievably fast. It felt like 5 minutes before our meals and appetizer came out, hot and ready to eat. Prices are nice, and they have some interesting options I haven't seen before such as avocado curry. Cheese wontons were my favorite part of the meal and I highly recommend them. Love the heat scale here, and even though the avocado curry wasn't my favorite I'm sure I'll be back here before long. The ambience alone make it worth a visit for a nice lunch or dinner. Good price, lot of options, extremely fast service, and beautiful outdoor seating make this a great meal option just outside of the downtown core.

Today, I bought Original Pad Thai with Chicken. I also bought extra peanut sauce & also a deep fried Spring Roll with a scrumptious dipping sauce. My dining partner today, had the same as I did & we shared the deep fried Spring Roll. Honestly, if I could eat here every day I would. Last time I went, my Son got the Eugene Pad Thai & my Daughter in Law, got the Special Pad Thai. We also shared fresh salad rolls. They NEVER, EVER, disappoint & their portions are huge. So many choices to have in your Pad Thai too. Chicken, Tofu, Pork & mixed Veggies are free in your Pad Thai. The add ons, for a small upcharge, are Shrimp, Beef, Scallops, Salmon & Squid. I eat half & take half home. I always get the Chicken in my Pad Thai & its consistantly, all premium breast meat, never any fat or gristle & the entire delicious meal, just melts in your mouth. I know, folks talk a lot, about other places, which have a longtime standing, in this community, but if y'all tried Ubon Thai Kitchen, you would forever be hooked. The prices are lower. The portions are larger & the highest quality of ingredients are always used. I am a forever fan & now my Son & his Wife are too!

This was my first experience here. The parking is ample, the decor is wonderful, the hostess is nice, friendly and efficient. When trying a new place I usually order what is considered "street" food as every cook/chef should be able to turn out fantastic food on auto-pilot. So, I ordered chicken pad thai, chicken satay, and crisp spring rolls. I didn't wait long. The hostess served me a plate with the two sides and the quantity was ample and appearance was good. The chicken satay wasn't marinated so it lacked flavor. It also didn't appear to be cooked to completely done. The spring rolls looked over-cooked but they were good sized and hot. They were also mainly red cabbage and greasy. A heaping plate of chicken pad thai arrived and It looked to be boiled noodles in gray gravy. [Pad thai is a stir fried dish usually with tamarind which gives is a reddish color] I almost sent the dish back then, but I wanted to give it a fair tasting. A complete disappointment. Others eating there said it was the best pad thai they'd ever had. Maybe for them it was. But many in this area will remember Mekala's which excelled with all their dishes, Ring of Fire which was also very good, Manola's which became a consistent go-to fir comfort food and hosting friends, and several other places to serve the area. I think Eugene deserves great food. My quest continues but not at this restaurant.

Love this place! I try and order different things when I go, but I often end up with the Cashew Stir Fry with a protein. I love it so much. The owners are super awesome and I've talked to the husband multiple times in the past. This last visit the guy working was really friendly. It wasn't busy yet, so we talked to him for a bit while ordering. Just a genuinely nice guy. I didn't catch his name though. The food comes out quickly and hot. If you like spicy, I recommend starting with a medium. It's fairly spicy for the average person. I think it's a bit hotter than most mediums, but I enjoy it quite a bit. They also have a fantastic outdoor seating area during the spring and summer. Inside there is a neat little bay room to sit in and eat and they also have a tv at the bar that usually has sports on it. My favorite sit down Thai place in Eugene and one of my two favorite Thai places in Eugene.

I’ve been here three times in the last year and don’t remember having to pay extra for chili sauce. Anyways the food is good no argument there. Because of having to bus my own dishes I slipped and fell breaking the plates I had in my hand. Then one of the workers asked us to move and I said to her I did not want to walk thru broken glass and she told me “well I’m not mopping that up unless you move”. Some customer service! I’m done with this place.
