I saw NCT Dream here a couple of weeks ago! The venue is awesome! Yummy restaurants to enjoy while waiting for the show to start or the doors to open. Really clean, well kept venue and the staff is so nice!! I especially loved that they did special events and had hang out spots for the fans before the show. I’ve never seen a venue so appreciative and welcoming to the attendees! Thank you so much for being an amazing venue!! I hope to see another concert here soon! 🫶

Google
The UBS Arena is truly remarkable. We had the pleasure of attending a JellyRoll concert here, which was quite impressive. The performer was quite impressive, and the performance was outstanding. The food and beverages were satisfactory, but the prices were rather high.

Google
Amazing experience will always remember how much fun I had! Staff was very nice and friendly guiding people to where they had to go! At the end traffic gets pretty bad but that’s a given of course! Regardless best experience ever!!!!

People are very kind and nice. The views are amazing in any seat. The food in the stadium is really expensive though.

Google
A nice concert venue with deep pocketed food options available if you get hungry. Paid parking a bit on the high side and getting insurance on your purchased tickets. I don't think it was really needed, but did it to ensure we got our seats. Once we found our seats, not knowingly, we were sitting right behind the cameras and technical equipment, which was not ideal.

CONCERT FANS UNITE @ UBS! Awesome place to go to a concert or event! GREAT VARIETY of FOOD TRUCKS Outside! Bonus!! (PS: Great tasting food outside). This arena has EVERYTHING you’d want - FOOD and DRINK to Merchandise! As fast as you order, your item is READY! WOW 😮 They even have a non contact booth you walk into and grab your drink of choice and just walk out…thanks to Amazon! Every seat inside is comfortable and is a great seat for viewing the concert. The acoustics are great too. Exiting from inside to parking lot is quick and simple. The walk from the LIRR station is brief, though the shuttle buses are plentiful and orderly. A GREAT EXPERIENCE! I’ll BE BACK!!

Google
Went there to see the Missy Elliott, Busta Rhymes, Ciara, Timberland. What a party the concert was HOT! They all did their thing !!! Everybody was standing up partying. However, the USBS Arena needs to add screens so all levels can see the artist. I was disappointed about that. They had these small screens on stage for the people who's on the floor could see. Then the screens that was in the air was for the people in the middle. What happen to the ones on the side??? We want to see too we paid our money too. But, the concert was given . Each of the artist sounded GREAT!! Let me tell you if this show is coming to you area Get your ticket and Get your Life and Party on!!!

The arena can be used for any event that has a large gathering. I was there for a gospel music concert, and we couldn’t have done the program anywhere other than UBS Arena. The arena also has a place to buy food (fast food of cause such as fries, nuggets, water etc) incase you get hungry. You can get to the arena from grand-central using the LIRR train to Elmont UBS. Then from Elemont UBS train station, there’s a free shuttle that takes to straight to the arena. That’s about a 4 minutes ride (or 17 minutes walk).

Yelp
Visited UBS Arena for the first time this spring to see the legendary Stevie Nicks, and I couldn't have asked for a better concert experience! The venue is top-notch for live performances, with modern amenities and great organization. Although you could walk to the venue from the parking lots, we took the shuttle to and from with no regrets. The shuttle buses from the parking lot were a standout--plentiful, modern, and super efficient. We didn't have to wait long, and it made getting to and from the arena a breeze. Once inside, there were plenty of food options, and I was impressed by the variety. Whether you wanted a snack or something more filling, there were choices to please everyone. The acoustics? Amazing! Stevie's voice sounded incredible. The sound quality really added to the magic of the night. The only minor issue was that the parking signs were a little tricky to follow on our first visit, so I'd recommend arriving a bit early to get your bearings. Overall, UBS Arena is a fantastic venue for concerts, and I can't wait to come back for another show.

Yelp
Attended this year's MTV VMA'S recently at UBS Arena. This was the first time it was held here, and I hope they bring it back again. All of the staff was very kind and helpful. They really did a beautiful job with the arena, comfortable/cushioned seats, and vendor options. For this event, only half the arena was utilized for guests, and the other half was designated as "backstage", but they still had a good variety of options. This one of a kind experience was so much fun, and I'm looking forward to attending another event here soon.

Yelp
First time checking out this arena, arrived on a cloudy evening via the LIRR which conveniently stops right next to the arena. There were shuttle buses lined up in an orderly fashion and plenty of staff directing commuters to the buses which filled up and drove us a few minutes from the train station and parking area directly to the path adjacent to the main entrance. From the bus drop off to the Amex card holder entry was about a 2 min walk then another 2-3 minutes around the corner to general admission. Inside and out the arena looked quite new, apparently just built in 2021, and home to the NY Islanders. Next to the arena you can still see what looks to be partial remains of the demolished prior structure. Plenty of parking lots and parking structure parking close by, though heard it's pretty pricey at $45-50. Upon entry you need to go thru a security checkpoint and metal detector at most of the regular doors, and they only allow larger bags/backpacks thru specific entries where I believe those items go thru a scan too. Contents of smaller bags also are checked by security. Once inside you can proceed to seating and refreshments either directly on the first floor or take stairs, escalator or elevator up to the levels with access to other levels. For the average attendee, there are many food and drink options, mainly on the categories of fast food--fried chicken, burgers, tacos, hotdogs, fries and the like, and a couple fancier spots with items like steak. Drinks are mostly sodas, juice, water, beer and some generic cocktail selections. Prices are easily one of the most expensive I've seen at an entertainment venue $7 for a 20fl oz bottle of water!? $17 for a CAN of white claw?! O_O But I suppose that's what they can charge since you have no other options here. Food was similarly price-gouging $9 for a cup of fries, and $18 for 5 chicken tenders though to their credit the tenders were half-way decent. Of course if you have club seats maybe your options are better though I didn't have that opportunity this time. Decent number of bathrooms available though during intermissions as expected lines are very long. Mobility accessible and family friendly bathrooms are available too. Overall pretty clean facilities and the staff were professional.

Yelp
So we went to see Cirque Ole Ovo with my daughter who is autistic and my girlfriend Alley who has spinal bífida . We had middle row 1st floor seats and my gf doesn't like to use her disability to get special privileges. From the moment we walked in the staff couldn't be more accommodating, kind , and caring. Even after we turned them down to have my gf moved bc it would break up Our foursome we my boyfriend and I came back from a snack run to find my daughter and girl friend in floor seats third row with a wheelchair waiting to take her to the car after the show. Wow not to mention great food vendors snd just a wonderful venue. Thank you

Yelp
My first time at UBS Arena purchased tickets to see Chris Brown 11:11 tour. Decided to park on the street (the Queens, NY side) and walk to the Arena. Ticket check-in was quick finding your seat was easy. The employees are very helpful when looking for your section. There's a lot of food/ beverages items to choose from. I like that they have a bathroom by each section. The Arena is very clean. I didn't give 5 stars because I noticed leaving the arena the people in their cars trying to exit the parking lot it was unorganized.

Yelp
Three stars is pretty accurate for this venue. We went to an Islander game this past spring and while the game itself was fun, the arena was lacking in a few categories. Firstly, the parking is quite far and with kids, that walk all the way down in cold weather can be pretty rough. Secondly, the food options weren't great. Even the chicken fingers and fries were lukewarm and tough to chew. The seating also seemed very tight. I did love and appreciate the mother's nursing/changing stations! They were an excellent addition. We'll be back if we have tickets for the game but I do hope to see some improvements.

Yelp
First time going here to this arena and first time watching a hockey game (Islanders vs Hurricanes 2024 playoffs). We got to the arena from the lot by shuttle bus, but after the game, we walked back to the car. Looked tight at the bus area anyway, with cars/rideshares there as well. Separate entry for bag check with an xray scanner which made it faster (than manually at another stadium I was just in). Inside was a nice entryway and not far from it was our section, so didn't get to explore much of the other areas. Food/bar and restrooms already nearby. Thanks for hubby's friend for great seats- in sec. 104 and along the center line so great vantage point for watching the game; could see both sides, except what was along our side of wall. We clearly saw the winning goal during the 2nd overtime! Great sound for audio/music and lighting. 4-sided Scoreboard was clear. I can see how good a concert will be here. Foodwise, went to a self-serve area- picked an italian beef sandwich for $17 (which I prefer than tenders and fries from another stadium at similar price). Sandwich was good, with crispy onions and greens. Honey chicken sandwich's patty was a bit dry on the edges. 10% off if you pay with Amex. Ladies room line moved quickly and was clean. Mens room line was much longer that day. Paid $43 for parking at the Emerald lot - getting a spot was easy but leaving took a while, esp to get to the Cross Island Pkway North. I wondered if better to go to South-bound parking lot exit, then make a U turn somewhere. The LIRR is really close by too.

Yelp
This arena is fairly new. I took my bonus daughter to see Charlie Wilson, Kem & Dru Hill. What an amazing concert. I've seen several of Charlie Wilson's concerts, and this one was by far the best. The arena was a nice size no matter where you sit. It's a good seat.

Yelp
Aerosmith!!! Was fortunate enough to see the Peace Out Tour here on Saturday 9/9/23 Large stadium located on huge grounds. The place was clean, bathrooms and all. Plenty of employees throughout the venue. They were friendly and kept things moving along. We dined at a restaurant before the show, to avoid the overpriced stadium food. Although we did pay $9.55 for a 20 ounce bottle of Coke! The end of the concert our exodus was smooth. With folks' going to their respective departure areas. Signs directed us to parking lots, public transportation and ride share areas. We sent for an Uber and the ride share area was chaos! The employees working that area did the best they could but, there needs to be a better system in place. Since this venue is fairly new, I hope that the kinks will be worked out in time. I look forward to returning

Yelp
We came here for Ringling Brothers Circus. Easy entering the parking lot. There's also a parking garage. Short walk from both. It's a newer building so it looks nice. I enjoyed looking at the Islander memorabilia that was up around the building. Lots of different food to choose from. We were lucky enough to be in the suite which was pretty awesome. Comfortable and spacious seats on the floor area. Looking forward to returning for a hockey game.

Yelp
Cool space to watch Disney on ice! Been here a few times and always enjoyed the shows! :) nice and clean, security goes quickly too.

Yelp
Well, I came to see a concert here & I was in section 316 and they left the dayum Islander bands up, why? I would see from where I was from but it was an eye sore. The music could have been better also. The sound system is for the "hockey games" not a concert! The place was clean, the food stand and the beverage places were pricey as you already know. They weren't MSG or Bsrclay prices but they were high! The food was anywhere from $14 and up the beer and drinks went from $14 to $26 dollars so come prepared. I would come here again if I had lower section seats. Another thing, they have shuttle buses to take you back to your car, so that was kool! Well, Enjoy!!!

Yelp
I came here for the Barnum Bailey Circus. The parking was a bit expensive for this place. I guess they need to make money somehow. I think if you sit anywhere there will be a great view. If not, there are monitors for you to see the show from any angle. I did see people with binoculars, which wouldn't be a bad idea no matter where you end up sitting. They have food and facilities for you to use here too. The lines get fairly long. So I suggest going before intermission or afterward. I do wonder how the arena will look like for a game or a concert.

Yelp
My husband and I were there for the Chris Brown Concert in July. This Arena was clean and organized and it was easy to get to. Parking was easy too. We will be back for sure!

Yelp
Here for the Park ice skating rink. It's a free sponsored one hour session. Usually it's 90 min session with $20 admission and $10 rental. Free parking with less than one minute walk. Go on website to register to avoid sold out. Check in process was smooth, waiting for about 5 min only. Then you receive little red raffle like tickets to get skates just across from check in. Staff was friendly and patient. Skates look very new and in good condition. You had to leave an ID when you pick up skates. There are two rinks. One with a big tent over it. One without. We of course picked the one with tent over due to high wind. There were blue pushing standing walker for free. Height is fit to a child. It will de too low for an adult. First come first serve. However there were only about 10 of those. It's hard to get one. It wasn't crowed at all. Plenty of space. No rail tkk ok hold onto. Only low fence around the rink at knee height. When we left, we got into one of those igloo. It's free, again, first come first serve. Inside was cozy with chairs and a fake fire heater. Very cozy and warm. Great experience. Well organized.

Yelp
The UBS arena has a capacity of 18,500 capacity which resides at Belmont Park. The New York Islanders have resided at UBS now since 2021 season. The Long Island Railroad stop is a short walk to the arena. A family member invited me to visit the UBS Arena for the last season Islanders game. The Arena seemed sold out with enthusiastic fans hoping for a win which would lock them a playoff spot. The arena is a magnificent facility that meets all its expectations in terms of all the hype. The food and beverage experience are excellent and there are high technology sections where one can buy products by just picking them up off a shelf. Overall, I enjoyed my first visit, and I am looking forward to many more whether it is a hockey game or a musical venue.

Yelp
Great venue, easy to get to by train , cool vibe inside , roomy , great sound system , easy drop off, no lines for bathroom , good food and drink ( expensive as you would guess ), really nice staff, comfy wide seats and getting to ring the new year in with Billy Joel , I look forward to returning ! Happy New Year !

Yelp
UBS Arena is a lot easier to get to than Nassau Coliseum. When Grand Central has their full schedule running by the end of the month we can get the train from there. As it was we met our friends at Moynihan Train Hall grabbed a bite to eat and left from there. In about a half hour we arrived in time for the 2023 Harlem Globetrotters Game. Our return trip to Manhattan was easy as well. We didn't buy food but did come in contact with many employees. Everyone was very nice and very helpful. There's nothing negative to say about our visit for this event. Everyone had a great time and we may even return for a hockey game some time.

Yelp
Great view , spacious with convenient restrooms. Seat numbers could be less confusing regarding the sections.

Yelp
Wow .. They aren't organized or underestimate the crowd in attendance for events here because the frustration I saw many times from staff was tiring. Do they not know some of the fans in attendance have never been to the venue, and the team seems not to be happy with their job for every interaction with staff to be the same on both days? Then it just must be a requirement for the job here. There's Lots of parking, and it's close to the train, WHICH IS THE ONLY + regarding the venue. But the rude staff threw out the entire time, overshadowing appt. Uncomfortable from the minute you step foot on UBS property and interact with their employees. And they were vocal about the performer, which wasn't very professional no matter how you feel about who is performing at the venue. Security was very aggressive and not professional at all, and vaping. At the same time, working was unprofessional, but I guess it's okay for UBS. was confusion with the staff and giving directions or help. They all seemed very aggressive and rude. Not one interaction was good on both days while I was there for a concert. However, on day two, the staff in the premium seating area through threw BMW entrance was pleasant and helpful, yet you still came across those rude employees. Overall it was just a horrible experience here. But the concert was lots of fun

Yelp
I'll start by saying that I have been to many Arenas in my lifetime. Some good, some not so good. You really have little or no choice but to sit and watch the event you came for be it sports, musical, circus.... The UBS Arena clearly sets a new standard in these Arenas. I was lucky enough to have my friend bring me to an Islander's hockey game and found this to be an amazing experience down to the cup holders on the seat in front of me. Even the parking was a snap, (granted it was the preferred parking.) You walk into this New Arena and can really be captivated about the building size and how spacious it is as all the fans are walking around. The crowds are really spread out throughout the building. Plenty of restaurants and beverage stops. We went to the Dime dining area and if left me in total awe. So many people BUT so many stations of food so there really is no crowed buildup anywhere. The food available was terrific; meatballs, chicken fingers and fries, a wonderful slicing table of meat, hot dogs, and many things I did not even see. Anything I ate was great. Turning out this much food for this many people and it being this good deserves a lot of credit. Another thing that stands out is just how friendly and accommodating the staff is here. I felt like I was in Disney Land then my friend told me that these employees were trained by the Disney Corporation. Off to the game. Incredibly comfortable seats, and I have never seen a scoreboard like that before. It was incredible!! Plenty of action when the Islanders were playing and when there was a break. Big, bright and a whole lot of energy going around. Game over and it was time to leave. It was a simple getting out as it was getting in. Overall, a fabulous experience for a hockey game. Looking forward to a return visit. KUDOs to the team here at the UBS Arena.

Yelp
This was my second visit to UBS Arena and once again, I had a great time. My group found parking quickly prior to the NHL game we planned to watch, and we were able to catch the shuttle to the arena quickly. It's an eight-minute walk to and from the parking lot, so it's not terrible if you end up walking. The arena was very clean throughout, including the bathrooms, which is always appreciated. The staff that we interacted with when purchasing drinks were hilarious and made us feel welcome. We were able to navigate our way to the seats quickly and without issue, which makes outings so much simpler. The arena was obviously very cold for the hockey game, so be prepared if you're planning on catching one. Taking a shuttle back to the parking lot can be hectic with people trying to cut the line, so we always opt to walk back to the car. Overall, the arena is a great place to visit and we're looking forward to the next one.

Yelp
I've been to this arena twice within the past year for two different concerts and both times we were pleased with our experiences. The process was organized and smooth. The first time we went we waited for the shuttle bus to transport us to the arena from the parking lot. However, once we realized the walking path wasn't too bad we just walked. Both times, we paid in advance for parking that was a breeze to enter. Now be patient when you are leaving the venue because it does take some time to wait with all the cars leaving at the same time. I love that they have a variety of places to eat and get some drinks which are very expensive as expected, lol. They have closer venue access with your AMEX card. The first concert we attended, we had front row balcony seats and they were amazing. The views to the stage were great and we were able to enjoy the show in the comfort of our seats. The second concert we saw we had ground floor seats and it was horrible. Everyone in front of stood to see the show and we also had to stand to see the stage. I mean they had the big TV's you could watch from your seat but you pay your money to see the actual artist if possible, LOL. Overall I really like this arena and look forward to returning.

Yelp
Yesterday I was hired to work the VMAs as a performer at the UBS Arena. When the night ended I lost my keys! I was stationed on the S floor Pitchbook etc etc. I and the other performers were stationed there the whole day. After waisting my energy, time and sanity. The keys were at the podium with the receptionist the whole day! I left the keys in the bathroom. Why on earth didn't the employee of UBS radio one of the PAs (Production Assistant) and say hey one of your Male performers left their keys in the bathroom! The lady working the podium said they were there all day! The staff needs to do better! And I was interrogated by this racist security personnel wearing a grey suit and scolding me for not having my pass he made me come outside and told me to have someone prove that I was in the show. Mind you I showed him pictures of me as a performer in the show! If I was white he would never do that! UBS needs to do better with their staff

Yelp
Brand new Arena and it was easy to get to! Being in NY, there's just so many venues these days but this one is super convenient if you live out in Nassau or North Eastern Queens. Parking is a little steep at $40-$50 but it seems to be the norm these days. I recommend the silver and diamond if there's an option. I've noticed with different events held here, the choices available could be different. But I prefer to pay for the closer lots given I don't want to deal with the shuttle bus and waiting in the larger general lot for that service. I did see it was totally walkable, approximately 8-10 minutes if you don't want to wait for the shuttle so at least that's convenient as well. This is my fourth time here this year and I do have to say the entry lines are pretty efficient given many doors are open and the security runs smoothly. For AMEX cardholders, you can enter at a smaller check in point, apologies I do not recall the name of the entrance. Food options are plenty and again, a discount or cash back bonus is offered if you pay with AMEX. Mentioning in case. I've only tried the marketplace food (popcorn - very good, hard seltzer, cheese steaks and hot dogs). I know there are BBQ, burgers, Mac and cheese, sandwiches and "to go" Bowls (which offer some choices to the vegetarian eaters). For the beer drinkers, they do pour out the drinks from the can/bottle into giant plastic cups otherwise, it comes from a tap to a cup. Safety reasons and rules of the venue I'm told. Of the shows and concerts I've attended, each time they had a section for buying swag and tees just beyond the main entrance hall. So if you're looking for merch, that's where you'll need to go. There are plenty of restrooms all around the arena so no worries on the area where you'd sit. Lines move quickly since many have 10+ stalls. The seating is great! Brand new stadium so everything is nice and new. Very clean! Floor seats are rows of seats that resemble the fold up chairs and are linked together in a line formation. I prefer to sit in the 100's level since it's closet to the main floor and you can see well from any spot pretty much. Many performances used a secondary moving platform stage towards where the sound booths are so don't be discouraged if you can't get seats close to the main stage. Giant screens will still project all that's happening either way. There are specialty areas if you're willing to splurge - some have their own food area and bathrooms. So if you want a special section, by all means, worth the splurge. However, you may miss the surprise appearances when the stars of the show walk or perform in the stands. Another reason to pick the 100's. It's happened three times at the concerts I've attended.

Yelp
My favorite band reunites after 10 years and I jump at the chance to see them anywhere and everywhere. But, what should have been one of the most joyous days of my life is eclipsed by the fact that the UBS arena is a malnourished attempt at a 'premiere venue.' It has so much potential for being more than the new home of the Islanders, but most of the infringements are big changes. I'll name the biggest one first in case you are pressed for time. Their sound system. No surround sound. Do you know what that means for seeing a rock band? Oyy. I've heard better sound systems at outdoor musical festivals. It only gets worse when on top of paying for a ticket, your travel and parking options at UBS arena. I live 5 miles away and the cheapest parking option is $40. Rideshares are exorbitant with the price gouging, the LIRR doesn't serve me in this capacity, and, the knowledge of drop offs aren't publicly disclosed. Now with that $40 parking you have two options to get to the arena: walk a mile or take the shuttle. After I parked I opted to take the shuttle (that's free at least) because there was absolutely 0 signage of how to get to the arena from walking. I was able to view that walk from the shuttle and decided to walk back after my show ended. Once you get outside the park, there is still a lack of signage, and when we asked one of the few staff members on site where do we go to get in, we were told different entrances. Bamboozling! Once in, it's a bit better. There are signs to sections, but no signs to food options, and I stopped at the first one I saw to pick up chicken tenders and fries and water ($24 total)x they could use a few directories or lists of what's available. After I got my food, I saw a few different food options which also may have been something I wanted. Alcoholic drinks will set you back about $18!! Positives: the arena has lots of fun facts and homages to the area and famous people who got their start nearby If you happen to have time, at section 221/321 you can see the skyline on a clear day. They have sensory rooms for those who may struggle with lights/sounds/etc. I got free popcorn after the show. As it remains though, I can't in good conscious recommend someone see a concert here.

Yelp
I could keep this review short and just say they gotta do better. But I'm going to elaborate for dramatical reasons. I'm not a Hockey fan. Could care less about the Islanders. I'm glad they got a new home, which is nice by the way. Anything new is expected to be, right? The grounds are well kept, inside clean, including bathrooms. Great. For me, the location is convenient. Not too out of the way, right off the Cross Island. So when my favorite childhood R&B group was scheduled to perform here, me and my crew hopped on it. Here's my issue: Parking = $60. Really, y'all? We parked in the Emerald parking lot which required you to take a shuttle to get to the arena. Your other option was to do a 8 minute walk (so they say), but it def looked like it could be longer than that. Anyway, we had prepaid parking. I can't remember if it is "discounted" or not when paying in advance. I didn't like how at the end of the show you know how it is, it's a rush and you just want to get home. You now have to wait on this long line for the shuttle bus probably like 20 mins just for a 3 min drive to your car because no one is trying to walk it. And only one bus was coming at a time smh. I saw a designated Uber/ride share area which looked so chaotic. I saw signs for MTA busses and the LIRR is right there but didn't appear to be running. I can't imagine how people from the boroughs travel was to get here. Perhaps it will improve. It needs to. Another issue - the whole arena is cashless. Card only people! Don't bother going to the ATM like I did. No cash accepted. Tip: if you are a Amex cardholder you get 10% off the ridiculously overpriced food and drink here. $19 for chicken tenders and fries and $9 for a bottle of Smartwater. That's more than a case of water! Outrageous! As I mentioned, it's a nice entertainment venue that on this night was pretty organized. No issue with entry, etc and the staff here is helpful and communicative. It's what I mentioned above (and I'm sure what I may have missed) that gets this place roughly 2/3 stars for me. If there's a show you want to see here you have no choice but to go (or not). Just be prepared to make it rain!

Yelp
The traffic in this stadium is much less than you will see at the other stadiums in the city. But parking is limited and kind of difficult to navigate. 3 uncovered parking lots and one parking garage. There are also free parking areas around the area but you will have a good walk to stadium. Saw disney on ice. Photo stations near the entrance to get all the kids excited to see their favorite characters. But the snack stations were so limited. First of all there was only one person running this station. They sold snocones, popcorn and candy all included specialty tins. The line was long and I went before the intermission. So happy I did otherwise my family would not have gotten any popcorn.

Yelp
Are you ready for the 411? Here we go...this was my first time at this new area. I came for the Babyface and Anita Baker concert. While it seemed a little smaller than Barclays, I actually liked this venue for these types of events. I was not sure if it was the arena's acoustics or the sound system was bad but it was often hard hearing the singer's words. The signage was confusing so felt like we were walking in circles. There was a variety of food choices however it was pricey. I rather buy a drink than pay $8 for a bottle of water, make it make sense! My one complaint was when we did not tip the bartender because he allowed someone to skip us on line and he looked at the receipt before giving it to us and said "I see you have no love for me." At that point he was definitely NOT getting one. Overall, aside from that, I had a good time and I think you will too!

Yelp
First time here at the UBS Arena and we had a great time watching the NY Islanders beat the Edmonton Oilers 3-0! We even met Jon Ledecky, the owner of the Islanders! I sat in Box 2 with luxury accommodations. Free drinks, and free food provided by an incredible buffet style eating arrangement with all the food you could possibly think of. They had lobster mac & cheese, sushi, steak, chicken fingers, salad bar, nacho bar, salmon, vegetables, glizzies, and much more. They also had a variety of desserts available including make-your-own sundaes, cookies, pastries, chocolate candies, and much more! Highly recommend attending any event in this arena whenever you're in the area. Enjoy your time!

Yelp
Great new venue, super clean. Parking is horrendous even for NY standards. Mass transit is the way.

Yelp
This is what an arena should be! Super easy to get to from the Cross Island, with ample parking and staff that are not only friendly, but informative. I heard great things from my husband going to an Islanders game to my brother-in-law going to concerts here but I didn't know I would have as great of an experience as I did. I was supposed to see John Mayer back in March, but the whole band got COVID so they had to postpone. Our tickets were honored and as the show approached I would get emails with information on parking, the arena, and information on what the experience entailed. I pre-paid for parking in the garage which was a little steep at 50 bucks for my car. I have to say it was well worth it. Other parking lots besides the ultimate VIP ones require you to walk or take a shuttle bus. I'm too old for that! The garage is a quick walk across Hempstead Turnpike and you're at the arena before you know it. My husband bought me the tickets for Christmas, and picked a great spot. Around sections 112 to 118 is a Dime club. This is where you have your own bathroom, a nice size bar, some tables for seating and a few food spots including this time around pizza and sushi. But we heard that there was Mighty Quinn's in the area and we needed some barbecue. We ventured out and got burnt ends and mac & cheese and it was pretty delicious. Didn't taste mass-produced but like something you would get at their actual restaurant. I didn't know who the opening act was, but we were still able to listen to them play while we explored. Finally, we went to our seats just as John was starting to play. We had amazing seats they were definitely spaced out well enough where I felt like I was not on top of other concert goers. At the end of the show, you had your usual herd leave, but it didn't feel like mass chaos. Major props to the designers of the UBS Arena, to the staff that makes the place so great and to the performers and their crew as well. Can't wait for my next show here!

Yelp
I like that there's finally a stadium nearby that hosts not only the Islander hockey games but all different types of events. UBS is very clean and all the staff is super nice. One of the most welcoming staffs I've ever encountered at an arena. The only downfall is how expensive parking is if you're driving - $50. It's worth it to take the LIRR since it will almost cost you the same amount if you do not want to drive!

Yelp
The biggest and the most modern arena in NYC right now. There is no need to give further reviews as it reflects what a great stadium should be. It is known as home to NY Islanders and fans but also accommodates music and show fans of all ages. The layout, the structure and the interior are looking pretty neat, an epic and truly above and beyond each visitors expectations. We came in to watch a stand up comedy show. The building is pretty huge ! It holds Thousands of people. Location is great, right after the parkways exits, near an LIRR station and close to shops and stores. Parking fee is a killer, $50. ?!?!? Glad we know the area and knows where is the right spot to park. The town created a safe pedestrian lanes for those coming that will be either for "drop off" or "pick up". Definitely going back for more events in the future !

Yelp
Great place to see a concert. Small enough to get a good seat. And the Food was better than any other venue.

Yelp
YES! YES! YES!....yes? Well if you're reading this review and you don't understand the myriad of exclamations to start things off, then perhaps you need to take a trip to UBS Arena and get acclimated with the newest sports center on Long Island. I did just that a few weeks ago by finally taking in my first Islanders game at this brand new building and it was (for the most part) impressive. So maybe there's always a little bias when talking about the home of a team you root for and love, but getting pulled away from a place like Nassau Coliseum was tough for all Isles fans...until walking into UBS and seeing a super low bowl and an intimacy of seats to ice that no other arena really has at this point. My buddy and I were sitting in the upper section and still felt close enough to not have to squint and low enough that we weren't afraid of tripping and falling to our doom (like Barclays upper seats). For me, the seats and structure are the most important part, but beyond this, it was awesome to see so much Islanders love along the walkways and all over the walls. A little shoutout to Belmont Park and horse racing could also be found which was a nice touch and connected a piece of my childhood to my current Islanders fandom. The Isles Lab store is also massive with plenty of apparel and other fun items to buy (especially this year with inaugural season logos on half the stuff). For food, you'll find some of the usual fare along with a few fun twists and local flavor thrown in. Case in point would be Shaq's Big Chicken and it's teaming up with Blue Line Deli. Here you can get a sandwich with a hefty piece of breaded chicken on a blue and orange bagel. Yeah it was a little odd to see blue and orange colors with the chicken, but honestly the handheld was super tasty. Wash it down with a Barn Rocker (grab it from the Tailgate Bar or Offside Tavern) and you've got yourself a meal fit for any Isles fan. Now comes the few caveats that always seem to snakebite the ability for an arena to knock themselves up to a five star review. I'll start outside with the parking setup which I never want to mention, but has to be thrown out there. Many of the UBS Arena lots are not right by the building which causes a bit of a walk (in the coldness of winter) or the need for a shuttle. We snagged the shuttle on the way in, but walked back after the game with it being a nice night (luckily). Also, $30 for parking is a bit steep, just sayin'. That leads into the other negative aspect: cost. Remember my aforementioned Barn Rocker purchase? Well no single beer should set you back $19. That's just insanity. I get it, prices go up in a sports structure, but it's still an unfortunate aspect. Overall, UBS Arena can mostly be forgiven for high prices and odd parking to be looked at for its beautiful structure and ability to deliver an intimate hockey game. Perhaps I'll even find myself here for a concert sometime soon to see if it holds up in that aspect as well, but for now, I'll just keep raising my fingers to the sky and shouting "YES! YES! YES!" for the new home of the NY Islanders.

Yelp
You pay all this money and they don't have screens not surround sound. Why have concerts? I need my money way back. This place is for the birds. Not ever again!!!!

Yelp
Very nice arena. The staff were polite and professional. Was there to watch the ringling brothers. The facility is well kept.

Yelp
my goodness! how does a new stadium get completed and have such horrible congestion and traffic issues?! Came for Disney on an Ice with grandkids and it took over an hour to exit the parking lot! The stadium itself has some really nice options for food and merchandise, and it's for the most part clean and welcoming. Will be looking at better options to park and exit next time

Yelp
I don't care about the Islanders and their new home, Lets go Rangers! I am glad they have another new stadium. Once you're in the actual stadium, its beautiful. Lots of clean bathrooms, the new seats are very comfortable and the acoustics for our show, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra were amazing. Why am so glum? $30 for concert parking? And general parking isn't close to the building. Walking in the rain on broken gravel isn't worth $30. UBS Arena had the opportunity to have some amazing vendors on site. Hot Dogs, Beer and Pretzels shouldn't be the only choice. I was at MSG (where the Islanders won 4-0) while eating Grilled Marinated Flank Steak and sippin' Martinis. After the USB game/show is finished, where do you go to eat? Back to the carnival food booths? Yankee stadium would have been a great venue to model the USB Arena. At least a steakhouse would be a good choice, do you agree? All these famous Long Island restaurants, Imagine having a Pantanos gourmet deli set up in here? Traffic? When the show is over it's the same bullshit as Nassau Coliseum. For people that live in the area, enjoy your beautiful new stadium.

Yelp
The good: Beautiful arena and not a bad seat in the house. Plenty of restrooms, food, and parking. Friendly staff. The bad: $30 to park just to take a bus to the arena. Horrible parking layout. Food was real expensive. Example being a soda and 2 pretzels was over $31. It was nice but I expected a bit better.

Yelp
This new arena is bright and spacious. Definitely great for all different kinds of games and shows. We went there to watch Disney on Ice and it was our first time there. It was right on Cross Island Parkway and the exists are confusing. The GPS guided us to use exit 26B, but we ended up going back to the same parking garage as where the exit 26A got. Event parking is very expensive, $30 for Disney on ice. The arena itself is new and nicely renovated. The entrance signs were clearly marked, easy to follow. The space under the seats were dirty though. Lots of popcorns and trash underneath. Elevator was not working when we left the event.

Yelp
Came here for the Islanders vs Devils game. Parking Situation: $30 cashless method or prepaid parking. Parking lot is a mess since no navigational signs. You figure out for yourself. There were 4 parking lots that you enter via Cross Island Parkway (exit 26A, B, D). If you park in Emerald parking lot, there was a shuttle you can take that leaves every few minutes or you can walk to the stadium (supposedly in 8 minutes though probably take more than 8 minutes unless you are planning to run to the stadium). Pay for/Show your parking pass at the booth. If you don't arrive early, you will need to drive until you find a free spot. This can be challenging since there is no one to point you to where the free spots are. Park your car and head to the right side for the shuttles that run frequently. There are a lot of signs for "No tailgating in the parking". There are no garbage cans at least I can see in the parking lot. On the return trip, we left when third period started since we read getting out of the parking lot could be a nightmare. We got on the shuttle to return to the parking lot which thankfully left a few minutes with 7 people on board and before third period ended. There were no exit signs/directions to let you know how to get out of there which was surprising. We asked an employee who directed us to another employee, who told us how to leave the parking. There is only 1 lane that leads you to the exit and drops you off at the Cross Island Parkway which splits into North/South. I can foresee the craziness of trying to leave when everyone was trying to leave too. Stadium: It's a very beautiful stadium. Entrance Policy: 1) You have to show your vaccination status or show proof of a negative antigen test within 6 hours of event start time or negative PCR test within 72 hours with your identification with name to match your status/test results. 2) metal detectors: don't carry any large bags. If you have a bag, they go through your bag thoroughly and don't forget to pick up your phone and keys. One item to note masks are required to enter. If you don't have one, one will be provided. While seated, folks are wearing masks, partially wearing masks, or not wearing masks so you do you. Food options: cashless option There are a lot of bar options if you drink. For food, there are many options the usual stadium fare - Chicken Tenders, Burgers, Hot dogs, pizza, and such. There are some different cuisines. You have to walk around to check it out the main concourse and other levels. I only got a chance to walk the first level. The one complaint: how do you run out of condiments within the first 10 minutes of the first period. There wasn't any honey mustard nor ketchup on the gallon dispensers. We advised the staff who said that someone would take care of it. Nothing happened after 5 minutes so we went to another condiment bar which didn't have ketchup though it did have honey mustard and bbq sauce. Another attendee asked us where we found ketchup and we explain it was the other side. Bathrooms: Plenty when you find them. It's very clean and spacious. Enjoy if you go.

Yelp
First off, the parking situation sucks, no doubt. But from what I've heard, once the entire area is done, there won't be any more long walks or taking buses to the arena. As it is, most of what you walk around is a huge lot that is clearly unfinished, so while my girls and I had to wait an ungodly 7 minutes, the bus was quick and easy. As for finding parking, we paid the $30 via Ticketgouger, and followed instructions to take exit 26D off the CIP and, viola, we parked 100 feet from the bus stop. If you park here (Emerald), you're close to the exits and we got out, lickety-split! As for the arena itself, it's awesome! While I loved the nostalgia of the Old Barn, the food sucked and the bathroom lines were insane. This place is beautiful: inside, seats are super comfortable; bathrooms clean and plentiful; and the food/drink, while insanely expensive (20oz imported beer = $20), at least there are decent options and you're not relegated to shitty old hot dogs and overcooked burgers. A serious upgrade. Lastly, for our first game here, THE ISLANDERS WON!! We loved it and will be going back, hopefully for the playoffs!

Yelp
I took the train from Grand Central Station rather than trying to park for the recent Bruce Springsteen concert. It's $50 to park. Then you can take a shuttle from the parking lot to the arena. The acoustics are very good I sat in section 109 for the concert for Bruce Springsteen on April 10, 2023. The staff is friendly. However the food and drinks are outrageously overpriced. $20 for a 25 ounce beer. $17 for a dry Smashburger. $10 for french fries. $10 for a slice of pizza. I've never seen such outrageous prices for food. Definitely have something to eat before you get there. The food is absolutely not worth it. I've never seen such high prices for subpar food

Yelp
Last Thursday was my first time checking out UBS Arena and I was not disappointed. I went with my buddy Paul and saw The Islanders play Arizona. We lost , but who cared. We received free military Islander Hats for Veterans Day. Nice. The Arena is so clean and fresh with great seating. The food courts are quite delicious and diverse. I was lucky enough to meet the Owner. All in all a great experience. Thanks UBS

Yelp
Went to islanders game Saturday night. I own a business 2 miles away took Uber there $12. #1 can't enter from Hempstead Turnpike; front of arena. Had to walk 3/4 mile to enter from back. #2. Left game with 5 minutes remaining to beat rush. When to Uber area, every driver wanted $100 to go 2.5 miles. Shame on you, UBS arena, if could have went to front could have paid 3.00 for a bus. After waiting 45 minutes got a bargain for $60 (rip off) from UBER. Never going to ubs again, terrible job
