Udon Belvedere

Very nice place for sushi, we will definitely go back and recommend this place to friends.

Good food, the atmosfera is amazing. But service was horrible, in terms of time and attention with the orders, during the time I have been there, pity.

Nicely presented dishes and a very extensive menu. Gets fairly crowded on weekends.

We visited this restaurant looking for a pleasant simple meal at the end of a 12 hour transit from home to the hotel and the restaurant was downstairs from where we were staying. The restaurant was crowded, a good sign, and exhibited a pleasant ambience, especially when not knowing the area and other alternatives. Firstly, a laisee fare reception and then to be seated at a table that was in the closest proximity to the neighboring diners, so close that we may have well have been at the same table. After then ordering a drink, a plain, tasteless concoction arrived following which you were hurriedly required to make the food order for your dish/es. Upon making the order for all we could cope with after a long transit, we received the snubby nosed, “you need to order more now”response. When the “food” arrived, it was so basic and plain, not Japonese in anything but name, tasteless, served with abandon, no care or conscience about what the food could or should have been. And then the bill!!!! Why should anyone pay for being served what is such basic rubbish??

We ordered the Udon sushi plate. I tried the tuna. Iwas fishy. Tuna should never be fishy. I tried to eat it but I just couldn't. I was so turned off by the taste, I was done. In all fairness, my wife, who loves fish, enjoyed it. She loves that fish flavor. I am American and the sushi in America doesn't have that fishy taste and smell. I ordered the shrimp fried rice. The shrimp were over cooked. It also had a fishy flavor. They give you a type of jalapeno vinaigrette, I added 2 servings of that to the rice and it was edible. I eat sushi at least once per month. Where I go it's never fishy 😔

The food was great quality and the wait staff was kind. However, I won't be returning. They charged me 35 reais for a glass of seltzer water. The waiter brought it out before we looked at the menu. When the check came, I had to pay 140 reais for WATER.

This was my second visit this year. The beer was served very cold - perfect for our taste. Ordered the large Udon sushi and sashimi platter. Everything was excellent. Service was a delight too. Highly recommend!
