I used UEAT for multiple locations for a couple of years before switching to a custom POS solution with integrated third-party services and online ordering capabilities, making UEAT unnecessary.
Despite calling MULTIPLE times over several months to cancel my services, they continued to make it extremely difficult and kept finding reasons to delay the cancellation. Even after I finally thought it was cancelled, I received another monthly bill today via email.
When I called to request a refund, they put me through endless loops and claimed they "can't refund it" because their policy is to "always charge one more bill after you cancel your contract." This is completely dishonest - they actively gatekeep cancellations for months while you're trying to cancel, then hit you with surprise billing after the fact.
This is not how an honest business operates. Their cancellation process is deliberately designed to extract additional payments from customers who are trying to leave. Avoid this company if you value transparent billing practices and the ability to actually cancel services when you need to.
