We had heard great things about this place, and after visiting family in Paderborn we spent 2 days in Düsseldorf and just had to check it out! Thought it was such a cool vibe throughout. I don't drink alcohol, but my wife, brother and sister in law took advantage of some super quick service for their beers. Soft drinks are at a minimum (water or apple juice) but I'd 100% recommend the apple juice as it really was nice. Really loved looking around and I understand why the place is so big as we called back in on the evening and it was PACKED! Staff are friendly and happy honestly you're not waiting long for anything, even when jam packed.

Came here towards the end of the night and was not disappointed. Altbier is not quite as tasty as the previous venue, but it's still good. Loved the atmosphere - lots of character. Service was good. Did not try the food. Warm welcomed and warm exit at the end of the night.

This pub was first mentioned back in the early 1600s. This place gets busy early and you just kind of have to grab a table fast when you see one available. Unfortunately we were not able to get a table inside but there is plenty of space outside. The beer is fresh and crisp and they also serve delicious traditional German food if you fancy a bite to eat as well.

Baris Okur

Google
Their beers are excellent, and the Frankfurter sausage was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is very local and has a nostalgic charm, which adds to the experience. Service is incredibly fast—you don’t have to wait long for your beer. They’ve come up with a practical system that ensures both beer and food are served quickly. Overall, it’s a great spot to stop by for lunch or an afternoon drink with a meal. We definitely recommend it, especially during the daytime!

I have been to this place a handful of times now, the beer and atmosphere is usually very good but overcrowdedness on weekend is a major issue. The service is very delayed and on my last experience the server tried to charge us extra for 10 beers, he didn’t accept even after mentioning it.

Authentic old interiors, classic menu offerings. I had the schnitzel which was a bit dry. Excellent beer. Reasonably priced.

Charming historic place. Humorous staff. Reasonable price for such a prime location. ❤️

Do make reservations before you came here, specially if you have a large group of people We came here to have lunch after our morning Christmas market tour from Cologne! It was a very cold and windy day but soon s as you step into the restaurant you felt the warmth from the atmosphere! Due to the reservations, all eight of us were quickly seated! Beer was ordered and very quickly delivered! The beer is fresh and crispy, very easy to drink! And if you don’t put the coasters on top of your glass and beer will just keep coming! They also just use a coaster to track how many glasses of beers you drink and check you out by that coaster on your table! Which it was very interesting! Sent from my iPhone

Yelp
I was told that I had to try Alt beer while in Düsseldorf and this place came with great reviews! The brewery is large with indoor and outdoor seating! Being alone and confused on the Europe protocol for seating, I am always very shy and the staff here was very nice and accommodating. The gentleman made sure I had comfortable and was very attentive making sure that I had everything I needed. The alt beer is very good! Not too bitter and perfect to accompany the pork knuckle! The pork knuckle was by far one of the best that I have had! Super crispy skin with a good gravy! Make sure to tell them when you want to stop with the beers or else they keep bringing them! Very affordable lunch for one!
google avatar

Yelp
The pork knuckle (20.80 Euros) is the thing to get here. I could barely finish half of it but it's perfectly cooked - delicious and crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. Super crowded and bustling, which probably explained the brusque attitude of the staff. They will keep bringing you beers when they see empty cups on the table, even if you don't drink.

Yelp
Great beer. Experience the Düss Altbier! Small glasses. Unique flavor. Massive seating area inside through many levels. Like a maze but much room inside and out. Best to grab a table outside a s people watch. The guys come around with beer and you simply tell them how many. No choice on what flavors or sizes. We had food... Kasse Spätzle and a bread/meat app plate. It was good. Nothing superb. Service was a bit distant and unconcerned. Experience is worth it, however. We parked at the Ko-Bogen underground lot which was a 10 minute walk and under €3/hr. Pro Tip: go directly across the walkway to Et Kabüffke Killepitschstube and have a Killepitsch. Seriously... is the Düss way!!

Yelp
Stopped in for some alt biers while on vacation. The staff was typical of a brewery in the area. Quick, helpful, all spoke at least enough English. The beer is great. The refills come fast and often. We got two little bites of food and both were good. Perfect for a mid day snack.
google avatar

Karen L.

Yelp
Did not try the food but we had to try the Dusseldorf tradition of Alt-bier. We sat outside and like someone previously mentioned, they will continue to keep bringing beers until you put your coaster on your glass. We sat outside and while chilly, they have heaters. The beer was a solid beer! The only downside is that there are a lot of smokers still in Germany and we couldn't escape the smoke. Alas, I'd return to try the food next time I'm in town as it was recommended by more than one person.
google avatar

Duane S.

Yelp
The beer tradition is strong here. Wait for a server to deliver beers for your party. He will mark a coaster with your beer total. Drink. The server will continue to deliver fresh beers, pull away empty glasses. When you place coasters on top of your beer glasses, he will know to stop delivering beer. When you ate ready, ypu cash out with the server. Beautiful.

Kevin F.

Yelp
2/10. Okay food, but avoid if you dare speak English. Rude staff that talks rudely about customers when they think they can't understand German. Felt unwelcome from the very beginning, only got worse. Go to somewhere better where service is at least polite.
google avatar

David M.

Yelp
Great service and they were very helpful specifically because we don't speak German we found a waiter who tried to help us and chose the best plates for us !! I will definitely comeback.
google avatar

Why-Tie Z.

Yelp
I've no idea how this place got such a great rating. It feels tourist trappy. The waiters are rude af and don't care about their customers. They hope for a quick turnaround and a large tip. The food wasn't great either. I wouldn't recommend this place. I understand the German culture as I am German myself but this one is too much :D
google avatar

Yelp
Sorry no pictures! I don't have wireless here, so have to do my check-ins after the fact.... The traditional hard boiled egg (in brine) with the mixing of the yolk, their mustard, vinegar, and oil, and then put back into the white of the egg is just fantastic! I'm sure the beer was also good, but I'm just not a huge fan of beer.
google avatar

Karla T.

Yelp
A bit of intimidating when you first enter or are looking for a table because no one gives you any information or guidance. You basically just find a table and sit down and without ordering the beers keep coming unless you say otherwise. Pretty interesting concept. Cool spot where you can drink and chill without anyone bothering you. The beer is super cheap and it tastes good.

Yelp
Uerige, located in the center of the Altstadt (old town) is one of the few places that brews Altbier on the premises. This brauerei is huge, with multiple rooms, each one with a different atmosphere. The building was seriously damaged during the second world war but it was restored to its original, so you get to see what it used to be like when it first opened in 1862. We only had drinks and a snack there as the regular menu is fairly limited (they do offer daily specials though.) The beer was good and we ordered the Mettbrötchen, a classic we'd seen on menus before and were eager to try. I have to admit my ignorance as I did not know that this popular dish is actually raw minced pork. I eat my meat overcooked so I could not even try it, but my husband liked it. Well, that's part of the charm of traveling and we had a good laugh out of it. We liked their beer, and I should mention that they keep it in wooden casks and pour by gravity. I think Uerige is worth visiting for the beer and traditional atmosphere.

Yelp
Tradition, tradition, tradition. Just walk through this entire place and look at the worn-out stairs and floors and the old tiles and writings on the wall with typical old Dusseldorf sayings. One of the best Altbier for decades!! Came here first time in the 70's and it seems the only thing that has changed is the pricing. "Uerig" in Dusseldorf slang means grumpy and yes, the guys bringing your beers are known to be grumpy with a twist of sarcasm. DON'T TAKE IT PERSONAL...it is part of the experience. A classic for us is getting a couple Altbier either inside or outside and ordering their Mett-Broetchen" which is basically pork tartare with fresh onions on a fresh bread roll. No worries about trichina in Germany, it is part of the meat health check in Germany. It is as safe as regular steak tartare. Try this in combination with some salt and extra pepper and the Uerige Altbier.....DELICIOUS! Chilling with the locals and being served by grumpy waiters and the Uerige Altbier is a fantastic experience. And, the place can get crowded fast!

Yelp
Four stars just for ambience. If you want to see the largest German crowd in Düsseldorf at a bar this is it. Hardly anyone eats and to do so you probably have to go into the restaurant which then ruins the outdoor drinking experience. The food is below average and I hate to say the alt beer is so so as well. But for 2.5 euro for a small drink and getting the outside drinking experience? Priceless. Just come here for drinks outside. A server with 30 drinks on a serving tray will come to you to offer a drink. Great experience to be had.

Yelp
A local brewery in town located in the Altstadt and close to the Rhine. It's been here for ages and guys walking around serving Alt in small glasses and keep bringing them out until you say stop :-)) It had a huge outdoor area with tables to sit at and of course many standing tables as well. The Alt they make is slightly darker but great taste. I loved it and could have drunk it all night long. Definitely coming back here again. The area where this place is located is full of bars and restaurants. A fabulous part of the city :-))

Yelp
I loved this place. Right in the middle of Altstadt or Old Town, this place pumps out beer by the barrel. Walking in, I saw a German dude rolling a wooden keg toward the bar with his foot. Very cool visual. Lots of rooms that break up the sound. Cool patio for people watching. We had a cold platter of open faced sandwiches, a few each of head cheese, liverwurst and farmers sausage, some pickled eggs and lots of alt beer. Snarky service was a huge plus. They take no shit from tourists. These guys were awesome.
google avatar

Dave M.

Yelp
Outstanding food, service, intimate atmosphere, cannot recommend highly enough. Nothing flashy - just authentic - the way it should be.
google avatar

Kelvin C.

Yelp
Was expecting a lot more from the Alt-bier here because of all the good reviews. I found the beer to be a bit lacking in depth compared to others I've tried in Dusseldorf. It was still a solid alt, but not the best. I guess oldest brewery doesn't necessarily mean best brewery. To each their own. Also had a few appetizers here such as the sausages, mett (raw pork and onions on bread), and liver pate. The pate was good, but everything else was standard. 3 stars.
google avatar

Tim H.

Yelp
Understandably crowded : the beer is tasty and the menu is meaty. Waiters are attentive to your empty beer glass so there is seldom a wait for your next beer. Plenty of Seating inside and outside but you May have to wait for one to open up - dont be shy about sharing a table. I loved the smoked bacon (speck)- it may appear undercooked but I assure you it is perfect for the bacon lover.
google avatar

Yelp
Great place, excellent traditional food, potato salad, schnitzel, schweinshaxe (pork knuckle) and more. $2/glass for alt beer that they just keep bringing you as you get empty , drinks are tallied on your coaster which also serves as your official tab, nice service. Indoor and outdoor seating available, super noisy inside but that's part of the charm, children welcome. Elderflower lemonade was a nice nonalcoholic choice as well.
google avatar

Yelp
Hands down BEST Altbier in Duesseldorf. For your taste of the freshest beer get to the Alstadt and point yourself in the direction of the oldest hausbrauerie, Uerige. Filled with warmth and old world charm, it's everything a German brew house should be. In fact, as we sat in a cozy, dark corner, our beers atop old wooden barrels we watched people step down a stone step that was so worn in the middle it made us wonder just how many times it's been used! Uerige truly stands the test of time!

Yelp
A cavernous brauhaus right in the centre of the Düsseldorf Aldstadt. Everything you want from a German beer hall/brewery. The brewery's altbier is great, served on gravity from big wooden casks they roll in on the floor and hoist up from sheer brawn. No need to ask for refills as they just place one down when your empty and keep a tally on your beer coaster, this continues until you put your coaster on top of your beer indicating you want a rest. The food is hearty and well priced and seems like very traditional Deutsch brewery fare with choices like, bread with lard and greaves or liverwurst with bread and butter. The barmen are cheery, and attentive occasionally walking around with bar snacks fresh from the kitchen. I grabbed a rissole (frikadelle) in this way and ate it dipped in mustard. I also had the largest gherkin in my life on it's own, homemade sausages and bread, very plain very simple but thoroughly enjoyable with the mustard and the altbier. The brauhaus has a great mix of people being a clear favourite for both locals and tourists.

Yelp
Best Altbier in town, no cap! High tradition! Always crowded but a nice quaint atmosphere.

Yelp
This place is all over town with their temporary pop up tents. I had to try this legendary beer while in Dusseldorf, and at only $1.90 euros, it was a small price to pay! Well.. it's quite bitter.. not my cup of tea.. i mean beer! But, I'm glad I tried it.. better when it's served ice cold, however with the high temperatures of 98 degrees Fahrenheit, it's almost impossible to stay cool... so "it's okay, my little cup of bitter beer, maybe we shall meet again another time." Scene seems vibrant, as everyone is looking to drink a ton! Saw lots of groups just sitting around and getting drunk! Bottoms up! Prost!

Yelp
Great beer, good food, crappy service. Drinking Alt here is great once one gets seated. I strongly recommend to seat yourself (see second visit notes below). On my first visit, a very attentive hostess put us in the waiting area were we drank a few Alt each. As promised she seated us after about a half hour. Then it took a while to get a grumpy waiter to take our food order. About half an hour passes. The waiter returns to inform me that my choice - Schweinehaxe / pork knuckle - is not available. On my second visit, I was told to wait for the hostess who didn't show in 15 minutes. Hungry as I was, instead of dealing with the rude staff I decided to "seat myself" by joining a random group of fraternity students (whose color bands were a dead giveaway). Those students were very friendly and ensured that my food order got placed immediately. There was a Schweinshaxe available and it was standard. I recall better places in Düsseldorf. My beef with the place: The staff - likely of east European background - are arrogant, inefficient and rude. They certainly would keep me from becoming a regular. Rude waiters are acceptable if they back off once the guest stands up to them and advises them to cut out the shit. They became more rude. No thanks.
google avatar

Henri A.

Yelp
If you love locally brewed beer and traditional German dishes, this is the place when in Düsseldorf. Not a place for salad lovers. Beers keeps on being served until you say stop. What's not to like . Only cash payment.
google avatar

Yelp
A popular Hausbrauerei in Altstadt. We stopped in for a few alt biers and a quick lunch. A large outside seating and standing area. The lunch menu has light fare and a daily special. Traditional German cuisine (see the English menu in the pictures). I had the potato salad, which was good. Nice vinegar and oil mix with the potatoes and a sliced hard-boiled egg. I also ordered #7 - Liverwurst, Brawn (head cheese) and Mett (raw ground pork). It was nice liverwurst, if you like liverwurst. The brawn and Mett were interesting. I am not a big fan of either, but they weren't bad. My wife had the daily special which was Kohlroulade. Essentially a cabbage roll. It wasn't bad. We both thought that the meat needed more seasoning to make it really good. I would like to come back and try the dinner menu. I am not a fan of their Alt beer. I would much rather have a Gulasch Alt at the Alter Bahnhof in Oberkassel! They also make a Hefeweizen, which does not even come close to a Franziskaner or Erdinger. Do not bother with a Düsseldorfer Weizen...
google avatar

Isabelle K.

Yelp
It's the first brewery we went to in Dusseldorf. I enjoyed the real beer town bar environment and tasted the blood sausage. It tastes better than it looks like. It tastes like meat. They have freshly baked pretzel. It tastes good with mustard.

Yelp
Didn't have food. Just stopped off for a half-liter of delicious altbier. For a beer tourist in Germany, this is a must.
google avatar

Yelp
Cold Beer, Great Food. Note Cash Only but no worries there is a ATM across the street.

Yelp
Epic - the top brauhaus on my global list. It's massive and wide open, move in quickly and find a seat, read the menu in advance and order with confidence, alt beer and any of the pork dishes. Alt beer is affordable at 1€ a small glass. The servers are quick and friendly, but order quickly and confidently as there are many others waiting for the delicious beer. Americans, the servers speak English but do yourself a favor and try the language, it will go a long way. Alt Bier und Würstchen bitte (beer and hotdog please ). You'll love this place! If you want to have alt beer outside the outdoor tables are heated and you'll generally get the same service as inside. I recommend heading in for the full experience. Once your finished head into town for a Killepitsch.. You'll be glad you did. Be friendly and you'll learn a lot about Düsseldorf while you're there.
google avatar

Yelp
Great place for a few beers and some German snack foods. They write the check right on your beer coaster.

Yelp
Definitely stop by for a beer if you're in the area. I dropped by when I had a long layover in Dusseldorf, and was delighted by what I discovered. Perhaps it was because I came in the afternoon on a weekday, but the entire place seemed to be a hip hangout for the retired citizens of Dusseldorf, in the best way possible. The waiters are grandfather-like grumpy old men who speak a smidge more English than the zero they try to convince you of. The patrons all seemed like old-timers, in everyday or at least regularly throughout the week. The beer: My goal was to try the famed altbier of Dusseldorf, and I was pleasantly surprised. A dark variety, with low carbonation (which I love. I always find that American beers have too much carbonation to drink comfortably), the beer has quite possibly become my new favorite. Keep in mind, the alcohol content seemed to be a little higher than what we might find in the states. The only problem now is trying to find it outside of Dusseldorf... Re-fills are automatic, and your bill is tallied based on the ticks placed on your coaster after each re-fill. The food was a fun experience, but the mustard was phenomenal. Sharp, nothing fancy, but a perfect complement to meat and beer. I ordered, with the help of a neighbor, some sort of sampling platter than had raw pork (I think), some sort of aspic and meat slice, and a bologna type thing (there are proper names for the last two in English, but given that I've never eaten them before, I can't conjure them up at this point while writing this review). Although skeptical of the raw meat, I was pleasantly surprised. The texture was a bit odd, but the seasoning was solid, the taste fresh, and there wasn't any hint of the odor that is usually the reason why I dislike touching raw meat. Although the meal wasn't particularly up my alley, it was fun to try. Definitely check this place out for a drink! For those of you looking for some food, note that an English menu is hidden inside of the German one--just take it out, flip it over, and voila!

Yelp
My favorite brewery in DUS. Tasty beer and u always meet interesting people there. During summer it is even better because all the guest are outside. It is a good place to get in contact with other people

Yelp
Great tasting, inexpensive beer and a nice seating area outside. Perfect way to enjoy Dusseldorf for the first time.

Yelp
This place was lovely. We wandered in by chance and had a great experience. We didn't eat but the people around us had some tempting looking plates! The beer is great! Alt is what the area is known for so it's the default, you can even get a brewery tour! The service is great, there are multilingual serving staff. You should go.
google avatar

Qype User (Somnam…)

Yelp
The altbier is pertty good, probably second or third in Dusseldorf behind Schumachers, and the atmosphere - particularly outside when it is warm can be buzzy. At least until mid-evening. After that, some of the locals start to suffer from the effects of the strong beer and it can get a bit tiresome. Ueriges is where you go to take out-of-towners for the 'authentic' old town pub experience. Note though, once you get past the novelty of having your tab scrawled in pencil on a beermat, you'll find that authentic equates to consistently woeful service. If it's busy you grow gradually irritated by one minute having a half-empty refill sloshed on your table without being asked, to the next 20 mintues with empty glasses trying in vain to get the attention of deliberately blinkered, randomly wandering servers. Grudging and indifferent are the best euphemisms I can come up with, but then to be fair Ueriges doesn't have the monopoly on grumpy waiters in the Altstadt. Food is basic and would recommend moving on to one of the countless other eateries on offer in the Altstadt.
google avatar

Adam M.

Yelp
Great beer and very friendly staff! Both their "old beer" and weisbeir were excellent.
google avatar

Yelp
IMPORTANT: When going to Dusseldorf make sure NOT to mention their rival city, Cologne. If drinking Altbier (aka Alt) DO NOT mention the Kolsch, or by any means make a comparison to this 'other' beer. Being a tourist, they will forgive you but your service will be questionable throughout the night. You have been forewarned. Otherwise, on to the review... This is one of the popular breweries in Dusseldorf. I believe there are 2 other famous ones as well. You know it's 'fresh' when they are rolling huge wooden kegs of beer either along the floor or hoisting up these kegs through a dumb-waiter system. Altbier is great! If you like a good dark beer, closer to an ale and low on carbonation, this is a really good one. It's a fantastic experience to really get a chance to partake in the local cuisine, especially when it is beer! Customers either stand outside, inside, or find a seat at family style park benches and enjoy their beers either with friends or strangers. The custom to drink in Dusseldorf (as well as Cologne) is to say 'yes' to a glass, they place it on a coaster, then every time you finish a glass they will come by and place a new glass down for you and put a mark the coaster. It's really a neat experience to go out drinking and really not have to worry about the choices, what's even more enjoyable is that there is never an issue of having to 'wait' for a glass. The waiters walk around with traditional steel trays and if they see an empty one, more often than not, they will just take the empty one and drop a new one on the coaster with an additional mark on the coaster. More often than not you will end up drinking a lot since they serve the beer in 200mls glasses, but never fear! The glass will be replaced and the drinking can resume! Truly a fun experience! Food: I will have to say the majority of their food is geared around typical German pub fare, like meats (Liverwurst, frankfurters, etc...), cheeses and potato salad. What a fantastic potato salad! They use a mix of vinegar, Dusseldorf mustard, and other ingredients to make a German potato salad that is out of this world! One of the few, if not the only, potato salads that I order just by itself. I highly recommend it! This last time I had one of their plated dinners, of which they only have a handful (literally), and it was a plate of German style ribs, a whole boiled potato and salad. The salad was typical, combination of oil and vinegar and was very fresh. The potato was boiled and then wrapped in foil and thrown into the oven. This had the added effect of making the potato extremely soft and tender and a pleasure to eat. Word of caution, they will plop a mound of butter on top of your that is about the same size as the potato itself. The ribs, well, what can I say...Germans like their meat and this was a great plate of ribs! Extremely tender where a knife and fork would just melt through at each cut. I can totally say without a doubt that this was a great dinner selection! They have other selections, but this one was too good to not write a review on! Like a lot of local places, they don't accept credit cards, so come with cash ready! I have been to Dusseldorf twice and to Uerige twice. Without a doubt, one of those places that you will always think about when it comes to great German beer, food and fun! Final tip, most of the waiters don't really speak that much English, but don't worry they are extremely understanding and will work with you on figuring out what you want. When you go see if you can find someone that can help out with the translation. They do have an English menu, but that's only for the pub food and not the entrees.

Yelp
Best traditional brauerei in dusseldorf, go for mettbrocke with beer!(it bread with butter raw meat) definately exceptional

Hannu P.

Yelp
This place is one good way for non-Düsseldorfer to meet with local folk. The beer is of excellent quality and taste and you can always find someone to talk to. The beer is brewed there too and worth a visit. One of the most beautiful pubs I have seen in my life.
google avatar

Tom P.

Yelp
Uerige knuckle of pork is amazing. Absolutely amazing. The stuffed cabbage leaf is equally delicious. It's stuffed so tight that nothing falls out when you cut it because the meat keeps the shape. Gotta stop here for the food and the endless drinks.

Heath N.

Yelp
I usually only review after a positive experience, but this was average at best. I believe when we walked in we were "marked" as English. Service was very slow... extremely slow. Other people seated after us were finished before we ordered. Alt beer was ok, did not get to try there other beers, really wanted to try their Weizen but for whatever reason I didn't feel like it was an option. Food was ok. Smoked bacon was different kinda raw but tasted good. Pea soup was good could use more Pork. Frankfurters were very good. Potato salad was best I've ever had!

Yelp
The most famous Duesseldorf Brauhaus, not beautiful, but very authentic. If you like the more bitter kind of Altbier, this is your place. Plain food, but good.

Qype User (Danil…)

Yelp
Locals say this is the brewery to go to for heavy drinking and I agree. Other places have more and better food. It's loud inside with a party feeling. But the beer here is great, and the atmosphere can be a lot of fun. The waiters can be grumpy but usually they seem to have a sense of humor. If you want white tablecloths and polite, attentive service, look elsewhere. If you want to go somewhere where you can get drunk with friends and maybe even make some new ones for the evening, I haven't found a better place in Düsseldorf than Uerige. UPDATED to reflect my new opinion of their beer great! I now think it's the best Alt you can get, as good as Schumacher and Füchschen. Also, I tried their Weizen not so great. Tastes like plain unfiltered beer. But their non-alcoholic Fassbräuse soda tastes great if you want something non-alcoholic.

Qype User (ubert…)

Yelp
Very very characteristic place. The halls inside are very charming. Food is typical German 100%. But probably the main reason to go there is their beer. Sometimes it is 5 stars, sometimes is barely drinkable, you have to try it day by day.
google avatar

Qype User (nina_m…)

Yelp
The special charm of the staff is part of this traditional brewery So don't get annoyed at their rudeness take it as a part of the experience. The beer is delicious and you always get to meet locals who tell you all about the Dorf! It's also briliant if you like people-watching!

Rene P.

Yelp
Perfect brewery in the middle of the city center of Düsseldorf! Always a nice place to be and to drink... Good food, great Alt-Beer, friendly waiters, prices suitable for a small budget. Everything was fine!

The beer is great, but it's only served in small glasses, and if the area out front is busy, it can take quite a while for the waiters to come back to your table with another beer. With that said, it's a great location in an awesome town.
