Google
Fun for Sci-Fi Fans, but Pricey We visited the UFO Experience in Scottsdale recently with two adults and two kids. Total cost was $107, which felt a bit high considering the overall number of exhibits and the level of interaction available. The Highlights: • Pop Culture Props: We were really glad we went specifically for the life-sized Mars Attacks alien, the Terminator props, and the Aliens characters. For fans of these movies, they are definitely the standout features. • The "Moon Walk" Bounce House: This was a fantastic treat for the kids at the end. It gave them a chance to burn off some energy after walking through the galleries. • The Atmosphere: It wasn’t crowded at all, which made for a very relaxed pace without having to wait to see any of the displays. Verdict: If you’re a big fan of sci-fi movie history, it’s worth a look, but be prepared for the cost to feel a little disproportionate to the length of the experience.

Go in with your children, or childlike wonder. Plan on 60-90 min... there's lots to take in, lots to read and see, with some interactive things punctuated throughout which is always nice in a museum. We had fun exploring and loved the nods to pop culture. The "control panel" outside of the moon bounce needs lots of TLC, but overall things were in good condition, and this was a unique way to beat the heat and do something interesting indoors.

Google
Such a fun and informative experience! We visited the UFO Experience in Scottsdale and had a blast. The exhibits were not only packed with interesting information, but the attention to detail was impressive—especially the props and displays! Everything from the lighting to the interactive features made it feel immersive and fun. Whether you’re a full-on believer or just curious, this is definitely worth checking out. Great for all ages, and we left with lots to talk about!

Christine

Google
Museum is over priced for what you see. Lots of siting testimonies and videos but the interactive exhibits did not work. While they try to be serious, the gift shop mocks the existence of extraterrestrials with dolls, stupid sayings, and nonsense. You are given a token upon entry to vote if you believe at exit. I was shocked to see Yes and No almost equal. Apparently, museum did not do a very good job of presenting a compelling, favorable argument. Most probably better for children.

Google
I love all things aliens and I was a kid in a candy shop here! From the moon jump to the souvenir store I had a blast. It was awesome and you have to go! The staff was warm and friendly. All the exhibits were neat and well put together. I loved every moment!

Alice W.

Google
I believe this experience would be more enjoyed by children. It is a bit pricey. The interactive experiences did not work very well. They also have a laser game, which didn't seem to work well either. I couldn't help myself, I went into the moon walk, which kids would love. There are photo ops with aliens that kids would love.

J P.

Google
We bought the combination ticket with the aquarium and had a blast! Video presentations, models, shooting gallery, and my favorite the Ancient Alien gallery spent about 3 hours and read and watched most of the presentations. A fun quick trip through would keep kids interested while adults can take an in-depth trek. The only downgrade I’m giving is on a few of the displays being ‘shopworn’ from use. I recommend the UFO experience.

Chen Z.

Google
It’s hard to imagine that a place filled entirely with plastic fake aliens charges $54 for one adult ticket and one child ticket. Inside, it’s just fake alien “corpses,” and even my child found it boring. They play some so-called mysterious interviews and old footage, but my child had no patience to watch any of it. The only area my daughter showed any interest in was an inflatable bouncy zone that claims to simulate walking on the moon. We stayed there for less than half an hour before leaving. It was completely and utterly boring.

Yelp
This hokey gem is located at the Arizona Boardwalk in Scottsdale. Tons and tons of ample parking. More than you'd ever know what to do with. Bring 18 of your closest friends. All of you take your own vehicle. See? Plenty of room. We had some time to kill and of all the attractions at the Arizona Boardwalk, this is one of the least expensive at $26/person. I know. We're in Arizona and inflation and blah blah blah. So you enter into the attraction and a large 10 foot alien dripping in slime immediately runs up and grabs you. Just kidding. That would be super cool, but it doesn't start like that. You actually cough up more of your hard-earned life savings and you're ushered into a room to watch a brief documentary on why you're here. And that adds to the hokey-ness. From there, you get to walk the exhibit and listen to real 911 calls, actual news press conferences and some factual accounts of UFO sightings and abductions. Now listen - I get the 1-star reviews. I do. But this isn't Disney World or Universal Studios. It's a hokey attraction in Scottsdale, Arizona that gets you out of the summertime heat. It is hokey. Very hokey. But I don't think it's meant to be this Award-Winning attraction. It's exactly what you make it out to be. My wife and I went here to kill some time, get out of the heat of the day with zero expectations. It was fun and some of it was actually quite interesting. I don't think I need to do it again, BUT at least I can say I've been.

Antonio M.

Yelp
This was a really cool experience. It has a lot of UFO sightings from all over the world. It showed you when the first sightings happened. It showed you how they played a role in the movies. There's real life audio of phone calls calling 911 reporting UFOs. Whether you believe or not, this is definitely a fun experience.
google avatar

Steve J.

Yelp
Fun and interesting trip into the world of extratrestrials. Do you believe? Stories, photos, conspiracy theories and more. Some interesting things, movie memorabilia, displays, stories, and more.
google avatar

Kathy N.

Yelp
Was part of the package deal we purchased but of all the things at Arizona Boardwalk, this was our least favorite. Many of the interactive stations didn't work which is kind of lame. I honestly thought it would be more interesting and factual but was disappointed in a lot of the displays. Movie stuff was ok but not what I was expecting. I liked the actual recordings of 911 calls and such.
google avatar

Rebecca G.

Yelp
Total rip off, way to expensive. Most of the stuff didn't even work. Exhibits looked trashy.

Alex C.

Yelp
Do not come here ... basically $25 a person to walk around two rooms with some cheap Walmart decor looking aliens. Definitely a rip off and the staff is straight up rude. Waste of money!

Peggy L.

Yelp
This is such a waste of money and waste of time. First you walk in and are "greeted", and I use that term loosely, by a girl who has no interest in the place at all and could not get us through the paying fast enough to get back onto her phone! Then there is a ridiculous 4 minute movie which my family just ignored. There are cheap posters hanging all around the 3 small rooms, some that are starting to fall off of the walls. My children were enjoying a small bounce type of house room until the heavy set girl came out and said we were making too much noise. Ending through a gift shop with ridiculous prices. My advice? Stay clear away from this ridiculous place and save your money!

Todd K.

Yelp
I was amazed. Better than expected! I am believer. Make this a stop on your visit to Scottsdale.

Yelp
Out of This World Fun at the UFO Experience! I wasn't sure what to expect from the UFO Experience, but WOW--it totally exceeded expectations! From start to finish, it was thoughtfully put together and had something for everyone. We kicked things off with an introductory video that gave a great overview of what we were about to see, and then we got a fun questionnaire to fill out as we explored (nice touch!). There was a huge variety of exhibits--actual UFO sighting videos, eerie real-life recordings of calls and interviews, and some fascinating displays featuring everything from eyewitness accounts to movie & tv memorabilia (yes, Men in Black and Alien fans, you're covered!). It wasn't just informative--it was interactive and FUN! My 9-year-old nephew especially loved the alien shooting gallery and moonwalk bounce, while my mom and I couldn't stop laughing during the alien autopsy game (like Operation, but way more extraterrestrial). We all had a blast, but honestly, my mom and I are already planning a return trip when my nephew's back in school so we can take our time reading the exhibits and watching all the videos that he rushed past. The gift shop was a pleasant surprise--lots of cool souvenirs that didn't break the bank--and the staff was super friendly and helpful the whole time. Whether you're a skeptic, a believer, or just along for the ride, the UFO Experience is totally worth the trip. Beam us back anytime!

Yelp
What a fun little "museum". Yes, there are movie props and stories of abductions and sightings, but i was fun to walk around and read. My son had a blast as well.
google avatar

Brock K.

Yelp
Lame and silly save yourself from these experience and beam yourself to another dimension.

Leilanie M.

Yelp
We had a fun filled family time! Perfect for groups interested in learning all about aliens and the study of ufology.

Daysy V.

Yelp
Amazing experience and lots of information!!! I would recommend this experience to anyone who believes or doesnt! :)
google avatar

Monetta J.

Yelp
Informative, well curated, friendly staff, reasonably priced, neat authentic movie props!

Laura A.

Yelp
As expected, cheesy fun. We loved the moon walk. A must do for all, at least once. Do you believe? This exhibition might change your mind.

Yelp
This will be brief. I get that this is new. However, I got zero out of this. If I wanted to read a book on UFO'S, I would buy one. 90% of this pertained to reading stories that were posted on the walls. You need people in each gallery and have them (areas) numbered so that you know which way to travel (start & end) giving you the stories. Kids would get little entertainment here at its current state. Re-think, rebuild, and make it fun and entertaining. Have costumed Aliens walking around for photos. Have someone explaining the displays, how to navigate them, and what they mean. Additionally, the volume on the introductory video was so low that you could barely hear it. We as a group were disappointed, as were the people that strolled with us. Most of my reviews were 4 or 5 star. You have some work ahead of you but have a decent foundation to start with. #irishcatv2 #ufos # Not worth the spend now. I would try again if they reformulated and made it more interesting. I am a very fair evaluator and give high marks accordingly. Owners, look at the broad demographic. #irishcatv2

Yelp
It was an interesting experience but the sound was poor and the "interactive" exhibits didn't even work. Not great quality and my mother-in-law who is really into this stuff, she believes, said it wasn't worth the money as she already knew a lot of the information displayed. She was impressed by the hieroglyphics installation though. It's at the AZ Boardwalk so lots of other attractions & fun stuff for the kids.
google avatar

Janine C.

Yelp
So amazing!! I love aliens!! And yes they walk among us Need to see this while shopping area so many awesome things to do
google avatar

Norma G.

Yelp
I had a blast celebrating my birthday today! I've always been so intrigued with the stories of UFOs and aliens. I had been wanting to come here for quite a while. The exhibit was awesome! Very interesting to read and listen to videos about it.

Courtney H.

Yelp
Had so much fun! Learned a few things that I didn't even know! A must come! Next time need to bring the kids.
google avatar

Brianna D.

Yelp
While the UFO experiment was knowledgeable and shared intriguing information during the UFO experience, I found it ultimately not worth the money. The tour lacked the promised depth or unique insights that could justify the cost. Despite the staff efforts to engage participants, the overall value fell short of expectations. While the topic was fascinating, the experience failed to deliver the level of excitement or depth that would make it a worthwhile investment. Consider exploring alternative options before committing to this particular UFO encounter.
google avatar

Kyle B.

Yelp
Interesting museum, worth a visit. Some parts a little cheesy as expected but some interesting tidbits as well.

Maria E.

Yelp
very cool. fun photo ops too. Was nice to see actual footage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! must see!!!!!!!!!!
google avatar

Raymond E.

Yelp
It was very fun if you love UFOS VERY UNIQUE AND FUN, I enjoyed it a lot. You can see things from pop cultures as well as real stories and photos. It wasn't crowded and very enjoyable
google avatar

Steve P.

Yelp
I was hoping for so much more, but alas, disappointment reigns after walking through each of the 8 experience rooms that make up this walking self-tour. I did enjoy the gift shop at the end of the tour, which included some pretty cool t-shirt designs. Ultimately, the displays and presentations were pedestrian. Very little insightful information. The recording of the 911 call from the family visited by the 8 footers in Las Vegas was cool, but I can easily get that info free of charge on the internet. Four adults (yes I was able to coax my two adult children to join my wife and I) for a total of $100, nope definitely not worth it. I will concur that the staff are pleasant and very helpful and some of the people we interacted with during the tour made the disappointment bearable. Maybe a better choice would have been the Phoenix Zoo. There's always "next time".

Judy S.

Yelp
I'm sorry but this place is a huge waste of money and time. Lots of the things didn't even work and as far as alien life it wasn't anything like I expected. However the staff up front was nice and friendly.
google avatar

Janice K.

Yelp
This place is cool. Lots to see and read. I don't think it's that great for kids under maybe 7 if they are sensitive. My 4 year old was very freaked out by some of the aliens that were cut open and on tables. She wanted to leave and never return. But for older kids and adults it's pretty cool. The moon room for bouncing was a hit both my kids enjoyed this.

Tracy P.

Yelp
Great was totally worth the $ would do it again even with my dad he thought it was fun
google avatar

Mary M.

Yelp
So fun! I went from "no" to " maybe" many great photo opportunities and interactive activities. We shot some aliens in the desert and walked on the moon!

Annabell H.

Yelp
Kids had fun, the moon walk experience was fun as an adult. I don't want to give to many details but if you're an alien fanatic it was fun

Brandon P.

Yelp
Had a great time, tons to look at but much more info to take in about past abductions/experiences if you're willing to take the time. Super cool!

Steven E.

Yelp
Fun to walk through, definitely check it out if you're in the area in AZ. All of the exhibits were great

Aja O.

Yelp
We loved it! so much fun and lots of history and the gift shop was so much fun as well. Great staff and customer service we will be back!
google avatar

Emily E.

Yelp
I'm so sorry, it's just not worth the money. The attendants and staff were very kind and enthusiastic, but there's no saving the exhibit. I appreciate the educational angle they try to bring with this and how difficult it probably was to try and bring something together to entertain and interest people but it's about as effective as a high school haunted house. The exhibit starts with a corny little projected movie with a "men in black" actor guy preparing you for the exhibit, if you look at the pamphlet he pulls up you can see the green screen effects coming through on the paper. What follows that are several exhibits explaining UAP sightings, abductions, ancient aliens theories, plaques interspersed with a couple foam alien statues peppered all around the place. Some of them have open guts all over the place. Your average alien enthusiast might be amused but I think there's gotta be better.

Mae T.

Yelp
It's ok. I thought there was alien laser tags and all. It's just dinky laser gun that you shoot on the screen.
google avatar

Susan F.

Yelp
We were very excited to go see this. We went last Wednesday and many of the interactive items were not working or turned on. We visited at 12:30pm so they had time to get things turned on. The main interactive control center had not been turned on and we did not want to wait for it to be rebooted. It is outside the moon walk. (A white jump house for kids.) The "shoot the aliens" laser guns had only 2 of 4 working and they only worked when you were shooting low. When you first get to the exhibit, you do watch a little movie but we could not hear what they were saying. The sound was too low. 4 of us went and wondered if this was really what it was supposed to be?

Ashley K.

Yelp
Great fun for our family. We enjoyed the "walking on the moon" bounce activity and the staff was very friendly.

Kayla Y.

Yelp
Great experience loved it! The experience was so funny to explore and got to see some interesting things

Jennifer R.

Yelp
It was unique and interesting compilation of events and information. Family friendly.
google avatar

Jason S.

Yelp
Ok Let me start here the place was a gimmick but that's what I loved about it it is a horrible museum if I could call it that it was fun especially the "getting abducted by aliens" the moon walk didn't support my 155 pound self but it gave lots of laughs and fun memories so would I go back definitely with friends everything looks like a middle school play set but almost everything that was interactive was broken so it loses a star. Also I think that the price they charge you at is really hilarious because for the money it wasn't worth it. Also the gift shop was super expensive and no way in this world I would spend $35 for a shirt with a alien but if you want a laugh go for it I was laughing at it the whole time and days after my experience
google avatar

Penny S.

Yelp
Took my 9 and 7 year old excited grandsons. Nothing worked. Not the keyboard stations, not the guns to kill aliens. It was all read-the-print on the wall or movie clips of aliens. There was a cool feel-the-guts of an alien dummy, but by that time the kids were done. I told them at the gift shop exit about the problems. They smiled and said "Thanks for telling us". I said they should give my disappointed grandsons some little something . They looked at my like I was an alien. Did not offer anything for the $60 I paid 15 minutes ago. C'mon give the little guys some apology. Don't waste your money or your time.
google avatar

Ken K.

Yelp
Waited 10 minutes and had to enter my credit card by hand. Then was asked for my zip code by the manager?? Sounds like potential credit card fraud. Then once inside stared at the screen for 17 minutes for the "show" that was supposed to restart. What a joke. $70 for this? Avoid.
google avatar

Rachel B.

Yelp
Don't waste your money. So boring and dumb. I went in a believer and came out a non believer.
google avatar

Ralph V.

Yelp
We came to visit from San Diego. We were standing right outside taking pictures of the alien displays right next to the front door. And the then worker closed the doors on us right before we were going to go inside. The sign said it closed 45 minutes before closing and we were already here. Literally right in front of the door and they closed it on us after seeing us there

Steve B.

Yelp
Cheesy and lame was expecting more videos or real footage especially for the cost . $10 at the most
google avatar

Ran K.

Yelp
A great look at aliens and UFO phenomenon all around the world. Different galleries to walk through and learn. The company partnered with MUFON on their public relations - and there is so much interesting info! Good fun for the family.
google avatar

J P.

Yelp
Good time for the whole family. Never seen an exhibit like this devoted to aliens and UFOs. The adults enjoyed reading and learning about the various abduction accounts and sightings while the kids had fun on the moon bounce, seeing some cool alien movie props, and the ancient aliens section. Whether or not you are into UFOs and aliens, a trip through here gives you a lot to think about! Worth the trip and great ice cream at Frozen Penguin afterward.

Jon C.

Yelp
For $20+ admission there's not much to see. Much of the hands on things didn't work. Interesting time killer for 30 minutes or less. For someone really interested in UFOs it might hit the mark.

Fritz Maebelle T.

Yelp
the experience is ok but not a must. receptionist on the morning of 1/14/24 was very rude and unpleasant.
