A quirky bar with a cozy vibe, UFO Factory mixes indie tunes, funky art, and mouthwatering hot dogs with creative toppings in a laid-back setting.
"The rooftop patio at UFO Factory features a dreamy cloud motif that stretches up to the roof. Dubbed the Cloud Deck, customers can enjoy beers, hot dogs and tots from Laika Dog, and music on a cozy perch overlooking Trumbull." - Serena Maria Daniels
"UFO Factory announced its permanent closure at the beginning of the month. The venue is known for underground no wave, rock and punk shows, and queer-focused DJ nights. It will be rebranded as UFO BAR under the ownership of Roula David and will reopen by the end of July with a similar vibe and events." - Serena Maria Daniels
"Indie music venue and bar UFO Factory offers is a chill spot to grab a beer or a simple cocktail and a snack. Yes, this spot is great for a casual beer, as well as reasonably-priced cocktails made with the bar’s selection of house-made cocktail mixers. In the snacks department is Laika Dogs, featuring a number of unique toppings, such as the banh mi, Detroit-style with vegan coney chili, and the PB&J featuring Thai peanut sauce. When weather permits, the rooftop deck bar is used for outdoor drinking and free movie nights." - Serena Maria Daniels

"The venue, owned by Dion Fischer, Aliccia Bollig-Fischer, and Matthew Bihun, has become a bastion for live rock shows, its creative line of Laika Dog hot dogs and tater tots, its pink restrooms, and outdoor patio and rooftop deck. The owners acquired the space, formerly known as Hoot Robinson’s bar, in 2010 and reopened it as UFO Factory in 2014. In 2017, a construction accident led to the bar being declared unsafe and condemned, requiring repairs that took over a year. The venue is closing permanently later this month." - Serena Maria Daniels
