Ugly Dumpling

my husband and I went on a date to Ugly Dumpling last week Friday, and we had the most incredible time! I had been before to another branch, but this one is much larger, and we loved colouring in the dumpling coasters! it's so cute to have something creative to do, and giggle about. Our server was so lovely and so much fun to talk to! All of the dumplings were absolutely delicious, my favourites (as a vegetarian) are the vegan cheeseburger and the curry paneer! My husband also thoroughly enjoyed the meat platter. The chocolate dumplings were also amazing! We'll definitely be back, we had the best time :)

First time I’ve ever had a gluten free dumpling and it exceeded all expectations. I had Chicken Satay (bottom left) and Aromatic Duck (bottom right). My partner had normal dumpling (Pork Belly & Aromatic Duck) . We shared sides of cucumber salad and Tempura fried aubergine. It was all delicious. Thoroughly recommend, service was great and it was really cool place just looking at the wall art covered in little Dumpling coasters. Would recommend booking as was busy.

GLUTEN FREE REVIEW As the name entails it is primarily dumplings. I had the platter which lets you have 8 in total. You get to pick 4 dumplings and get 2 of each one. Total of 10 options to pick from. The specials aren’t included unfortunately. I picked the Satay Chicken, Pork Belly, Aromatic Duck and Prawn&Chive. It comes with a gluten free soy sauce. I had a side of noodles with vegetables too. My partner had the non GF version of this platter. After this we decided to share a dessert and picked the apple pie dumplings. I have attached a photo of the menu and pictures of the food/dessert I had. Though one thing to consider is the note at the top of the menu. Although I have been fine since eating. Colour coding the plates to separate the gluten free food was a nice safety measure too. Would recommend for people to try if you’re going to this part of London. I would try the Lamb and Harrisa if I went back.

Had dinner here with my best friend last weekend! Food was SO GOOD and the place is cozy and fun! We colored dumplings and added them to the walls! I tried the shrimp dumplings and the vegan option as well as the ugly noodles and the apple crumble dumplings for dessert! Can’t wait to go back whenever we’ll be back in London!

I recommend making a reservation — even on a weekday afternoon for a late lunch it was packed, and we ended up sitting outside to avoid the wait. The food was amazing! We tried the chicken, pork, prawn, and duck dumplings. The prawn was our favorite. The fried aubergine was very good, but I would recommend the noodles. We also had the Nutella dumplings, which were delicious! The gluten-free menu is a must-try for celiacs.

Had a great lunch had this place tried the dumpling here and was great and authentic taste and vibes of the place is also different from other places, great service by staff , the noodles were also nice ☺️. I will always recommend this place other than big food chains.

We popped in here for a drink & a snack. I always love seeing the dumpling drink mats decorated by customers displayed on the walls. There’s always something new to look at. The dumplings are always delicious. I had the prawn & chive ones this time. Next time I’m going to try the sweet ones.

Amazing birthday lunch out. We were fully catered for including 5 star allergy knowledge and for all members of our party Would recommend this place to visit as it wasn’t too busy esp on a Saturday lunchtime
