The 19 Best Restaurants In Menorca 2024

"Ulisses is equal parts wine bar, craft cocktail spot, and restaurant, so come with a few friends in the evening for a chill round or two of drinks before ordering a bunch of small plates for dinner. You’ll find it under the whitewashed arches opposite old-town Ciutadella’s fresh produce market, which means it’s always busy. The market is also where the restaurant sources many of its ingredients, and everything else comes in on their own fishing boats or from local producers. The menu changes all the time, but Menorcan cheese boards, aromatic tomato salads, and lobster with fries (an island classic) are all regular favorites. Before you leave, check out the on-site wine shop for Balearic vintages to stuff in your suitcases to take home. " - isabella noble

"I had a martini at a place called Ulisses and then we had wine — they have amazing organic wine from Menorca and Mallorca, and they actually sell bottles there — and tapas."

Delicious! Croquettas (all 3 flavours), tacos were delicious! Great and fast service. Make sure you try this 2 white wines (see their names on the picture of bill). Get a reservation to make sure you will be able to sit, but if you are around and you didnt make one, pass there to try one table. Its great!

There’s a bold, outside the box approach to the food concept that truly deserves recognition. While the portion/price/quality ratio could use some fine-tuning, the execution, atmosphere, and excellent wine selection make it up for the shortcomings. I genuinely hope they find the right direction because this place has the potential to be one of the top three in town. For now, it definitely deserves a spotlight, but there’s still room for improvement. Still... you shouldn't miss it if you're visiting Ciutadella.

Food was good, sweet potato is a must try. However, let down by slow, poor service. The waitress shouted at me in Spanish after we paid when I asked for a receipt saying it has been a pleasure to serve me and my partner and to have a good day in an extremely aggressive tone. I think she had a long day with so many patrons and only one other waiter to help so I disregarded it. Nonetheless, other spots to visit with better service.

Very nice and chilled out place, in the heart of Ciutadella. The cuisine is modern with very good connection to its roots. We had a wonderful ceviche, exciting sea cucumbers, an amazing (like, seriously) gaspacho, and a very exceptional ajoblanco. All of the dishes were weird enough to excite you and also well rooted to their origins to being back memories. Also, the place has a very nice selection of wines! Make sure that you are not driving the day that you visit the place 😀 A must go place in Ciutadella.

Excellent fish and modern Spanish cuisine and tapas with and amazing wine list. If you want a special bottle, ask for the Biblioteca de Anadas - Library of Vintages and you won't be disappointed. It's very popular, so book a table before browsing the shops, if you're able

The food is unbelievably good, the wine is unbelievably good! Some of the best fish I’ve eaten in my life! But the service is shocking, the staff were inattentive to the point of rudeness! Again the compliments to the chef as the food saved the experience but I was left feeling like a burden to the restaurant by the staff.

We almost missed this place because of the reviews but it was one of the best food on the island. Everything we had was delicious and fresh (we had the squid andalusian style, patatas bravas and pimentos de padron). We finished with the cheesecake and the chocolate mousse which were out of this world. We went back for a tasting menu and everything was again on point. Fresh fish, one of the best tortillas I’ve had paired perfectly with Oliver Morangues wine. Definately worth a visit! Will be coming back soon.

I don't even understand how people can grade this place 3.6, it's way below it's worth. Definitely one of the best spots in town, I'm guessing they know that's why they don't mind this score. Starters were great, sea food was great, everything up until dessert. People if you don't know how to score don't, 5 stars everyday in my book !
