Inside a blush-hued space, Johnson's attention to detail is more than evident: there's a rotating roster of arrangements by Sarah Ryhanen of Brooklyn-based florist Saipua, a pendant light fixture by Lindsay Adelman, as well as macramé wall hangings by LA designer Taynya Aguiñiga. And then there's the clothes—pinafore-style dresses, pretty embroidered tops, hand-crocheted sweaters, plus a small edit of delicate jewelry from Pippa Small and Sonia Boyajian are all on display."
I am so disappointed in the customer service I received. I needed a dress for an event. There is no option to expedite shipping online so I called the store to have it shipped to me to ensure I would get it on time. And even though the lady was nice she would not budge on offering me anything but store credit if the dress didn't; work once I received it. The excuse she gave about only having one size in store and that was the reason she couldn't refund my money back is just ridiculous b/c if the dress does't fit it is coming back either way. I am so tired of horrible customer serve and no one being willing to do anything to help a customer. And for the prices you pay to have something from this brand it is just ridiculous that I have no way to get a dress, that they have in stock, other then ordering from the store, paying $35 for expedited shipping no less, and being told I can only get store credit if it doesn't work. And online customer serve being able to not guarantee the dress would ship out any sooner then FOUR days after the order is shipped! This is just unreal. I searched everywhere to find this dress any other place but it was not available anywhere. It is really just a shame. If I could have found anything else that I liked as much I would have bought it over dealing with this in a second. But I guess that is what they bank on and just don't care to help the customer. So disappointing.

I’ve been to the store twice now and both times experienced the worst customer service. The sales reps couldn’t care less. They don’t greet you or ask you if you need any assistance. And when I asked them for help they acted like I was inconveniencing them. There was one other customer in the store and she was getting the help of all the sales reps. It was so rude and my husband told me we should leave. I like the clothing and style but not enough to support a brand that does not treat their customers well. And I mean treat all their customers equitably. There are so many great brands out there to choose from. After coming from the Prada store in SoHo where their customer service is exceptional, it demonstrated the stark difference of what good and bad customer service looks like. Ulla Johnson is one of the worst. They should either let go or retrain their staff.

I called the store as I urgently needed a dress for my wedding and was helped by Oui who was incredibly helpful and responsive. She shipped the dress overnight and when it arrived and was too big, she found a smaller size at another store and had them overnight it to me. Wonderful experience and service, couldn’t be happier!

Have more than 25 dresses and tops. Ordered one from preloved. Can stained ALL over the front and when I asked to return it they said the window was closed- it took me a couple weeks of summer travel to unbox it. I’m out $250.

Absolutely the worst company . For the prices they charge it’s surprising. The dress ordered more than 2 weeks ago has not been shipped. I received a vague email “doing everything we can”. Their online chat is a joke. They get in touch and then ignore you. Their phone number is actually a voicemail. There is not customer service… it’s hard to believe that this company is doing business.

I have always had the best experience at the store on Bleeker- the staff works hard, they are excellent at their jobs and they give honest feedback. The clothes are beautiful, well made, and unique. Ulla is different than all her competitors, and if you appreciate that then please go to the store.

Terrible customer attention. I got more attention at the nut store down the street. I am regretting my purchase now. I bought something on final sale, when I would have preferred to buy a dress in the store. I am forgetting now why I didn't try on my preferred dress in the store. I had it in a row to request my size, but it never appeared for me to try it on. Did they not have my size? Or did they forget to go in the back and get it? If they did not have my size in the store, they should have told me that it was available online. GRRR. You would expect better service for such expensive items.

My issue is with the Ulla Johnson website. I ordered a raffia bag from their last website sale. My CC card was charged immediately. I had a back and forth over a period of 10 days with customer service telling me each time that I should be patient and that I would receive shipping info as soon as it shipped. When I asked for a commitment that my order would in fact be shipped I was finally told that they could not fulfill my order.
So disappointed and livid about this.
