Best Snow Cones and Shave Ices in Austin | Eater Austin

"The Hawai‘i-based shave ice chain made its way into the greater Austin area, bringing along its namesake shave ice in all sorts of fruit and sweet flavors, azuki bean options, and combinations. Takeout orders can be placed in person; there are indoor dine-in areas." - Darcie Duttweiler

Google
So glad we were near this spot! So good! The ice is incredibly soft and smooth. Their fruit flavors are naturally made with real fruit. Try it with toppings. Staff was super friendly and make you feel so welcomed. Keep up the good work, y'all are amazing! Thank you.

Stanley Moy

Google
Super delicious and refreshing. Great spot for a quick treat to cool down. I didn’t feel super heavy like I do after ice cream. Staff was friendly and helpful as I navigated their menu. It was not too sweet or overwhelming.

Google
We tried Ululani's the other day and it was ono (delicious!). I was so excited to see a treat from my Hawaiian home here in Texas. They have many flavors to choose from and traditional toppings you can find at local shave ice places in Hawaii. My only comment is that the price was a little high ($16 for two kids sizes) and that the tables were sticky even though we we got there at opening and were the first customers. The ice is more of a smooth texture and not crunchy like other shave ice places. We will be back to try more!

Google
Love this place. Delicious shave ice and friendly staff. Definitely worth the wait! (This picture isn’t great. I had to wrestle it away from my kid to take it)

Google
The staff are the best, very friendly and oozing customer service !!! This is the smoothest and tastiest shaved ice we have tasted outside of Maui !!!! Everyone should pack up their children, their parents and neighbors and head there. It is their only location in TEXAS !!!! The flavors and toppings for the shaved ice cream are delicious. Round Rock is so LUCKY. Fantastic place !!!!!

Google
Yum! I had never had actual shaved ice, not a snow cone, until I went to the place in downtown Round Rock. I decided to try this one too, and it was so good!! I love the Amy's ice cream at the bottom and the sweetened condensed milk on top. I got the "Hawaiian rainbow". I usually avoid red-40 dye, but I can't resist for shaved ice.

Ernestine Sayakham

Google
The shaved ice here was AMAZING! Some of the best in the US. We got ours topped with snocap, ice cream inside, and mochi. It was the perfect snack for after a day at Kalahari and the 106 degree weather.

Google
Lots of parking. Very busy. Friendly staff. So I've never been to Hawaii but anybody that's been always tells me how different the shaved ice is. I didn't think there could be that much of a difference but now I understand after trying Ulani's. The staff is very friendly and very helpful! Pro tip - look at the menu before hand. It's a busy place and it helps to know what you want so you aren't overwhelmed. I went with one of their popular combos called the sunset beach but swapped out guava for Melona. The first bite was so good ice is at the consistency of snow. The flavor combination works. What surprised me is how fresh the syrup tastes. The mango tasted like a fresh mango! There wasn't anything artificial that I could taste about them. Highly recommend the ube ice cream it works so well with the tropical flavors. I can't recommend the is place enough. The staff really goes above and beyond to make your expletive great.

Yelp
I stopped by this stall at FoodieLand and they just gained a new regular. The shaved ice was absolutely delicious, it had so much flavor (fldidnt taste artificial at all) and perfectly fine in texture. The staff was incredibly friendly and recommended their popular mango tropical flavor (I forgot the name, but it was amazing). I'll definitely be visiting their store location in Round Rock soon! Tip: drizzle condensed milk over your shaved ice

Yelp
Obsessssed with this Ululani's Hawaiian shaved ice! This place was poppin both times I went, clearly this best kept secret is getting out. The shaved ice is so delicate and soft, like biting into a creamy cloud. The flavors are fresh and delicious, the perfect level of sweet and not syrupy at all. I got the Rising Sun and the Haleakala, they were both amazing. It's a tropical vibe, not a lot of seating but a cute place for a little date or to bring kids. The service is friendly and they give samples so you can try the flavors. I'll definitely be frequenting Ululani's.

Yelp
Do you miss Hawaii? I do. Hawaiian shaved ice is a thing on the islands. Although this place it's done a little bit differently. It's not just a snowcone with flavors... The shaved ice is the consistency of snow. I feel it's a little bit better flavors than what you would get in Hawaii. Those behind the counter, serve a generous amount of snow, as well as extra flavor if you request it. We ran out of flavor before getting to the bottom of our dish and they gave us a refill for the empty snow. How cool was that? Highly recommend coming here on a cold day as well as a hot day. The fragrances alone brought me back to the big island. it wasn't busy for us on Sunday, but that doesn't mean anything. Plenty of seating, going around to escape the elements. Hau'oli Lanui to all. Come visit this happy little paradise!

Yelp
What an amazing experience! Came here after a Google search led me to the only Ululani in Texas. This place is just like the ones in Maui. The shaved ice was delicious. The ambiance and service was great. Highly recommend coming here if you want to try real Hawaiian shaved ice.
google avatar

Selina S.

Yelp
Awesome spot to head to on a hot day. Seriously the softest and fluffiest shaved ice I've ever had. The flavor combos were bomb. They can even add ice cream. They got the shave ice out quick and they had us try them in store so we'd be sure there was enough syrup. So sweet.
google avatar

Kris-Catherine W.

Yelp
I'm not a shaved ice person... I've never left a shaved ice place thinking "that was good." I took my kids here to kick off summer and after one bite was dating"this is SO good!" We all loved it and can't wait to go back. Great customer service, great vibe, amazing shaved ice
google avatar

Yelp
Not only is the product great tasting, but they also have a great selection, nice ambiance, and the place is very clean. Knox, Roger, and Abby (pretty sure I'm shooting at least 2/3 w the names) were very courteous and friendly :) Pro tip- bring a thermos if you are taking it to-go!

Yelp
After having the original Ululani's in Maui, I was surprised to find a location in Round Rock of all places. The interior is cute with a mix of Hawaii and Texas culture. The shave ice tastes almost exactly like the one in Hawaii. However, they gave a bit too much syrup here, so it was too sweet with excess syrup liquid on the bottom. I would prefer they caution on the side of less syrup, because you can always top off with more if you need. I would recommend their tropical fruit-based flavors since they are known for making their syrups from scratch with real fruit. Definitely get the mochi, and if you are adventurous, the li hing mui is a nice tarty, spicy addition to the cold and creamy shave ice. My favorite flavor was the pina colada. I'm glad that Ululani's has expanded to Texas, but I still find it a bit overrated. End of the day, it is basically a snow cone. It gets rather overpriced with all the toppings like ice cream, condensed milk, and mochi, but those are the best parts in my opinion. I would go to show family or friends, but if it were just me, I'm happy with another dessert option.

Yelp
This place came recommended by Yelp as one of the best shaved ice places in the Austin area, and that list wasn't wrong. It was delicious. It was quiet when we walked in, but quickly filled up after. We were served quickly, the gentleman behind the counter explained how it worked, and we sat at the bar against the wall while it was prepared. The flavors were amazing, the shaved ice was shaved so finely that it felt creamy. I can't wait to come back.

Anh L.

Yelp
These snow cones are definitely some of the best snow cones I've had! The flavor was nice -- not overwhelming sweet or syrupy. The texture of the ice itself was super nice. Felt like really soft snow. Since the ice and flavor is really light, I didn't feel really gross/unhealthy eating it which was nice. The flavor was pretty consistent throughout except when you get to the very bottom. The ice was less flavored and the bottom and texture was tougher. It was also pretty pricey for shaved ice. Service was good. Ambiance was also good.
google avatar

Abida H.

Yelp
JUST AS GOOD as the one in Maui, y'all!! How is the ice so soft and the mochi so pillowy??? This is easily the top snow cone spot and the flavors are amazing. My favorites change based on my mood but this I'm currently loving the tangy or sweet/sour flavors like pickled mango & tamarind! Passion fruit orange always hits the spot too. For something more subtle, go with lychee or coconut. LOVE that the flavors are natural! Also pro tip: get a condensed milk snow cap :) Definitely check them out. Perfect treat in the Texas heat!
google avatar

Netta K.

Yelp
The texture of the ice is so smooth yall!! It has the consistency of a Gelato! I added milk to mine and put a scoop of Ube ice cream under it! Heaven in your mouth yall!! The owners create the syrups with fruit puree so they don't have that sickly sweet artificial taste. The people were so friendly and patient! I had no idea what to get but they helped with recommendations and they didn't disappoint! This little piece of Hawaii in Round Rock is 100% worth the drive! I loved the Texas with Hawaii on the wall and the entire place is relaxing

Yelp
We stopped in when we noticed the "Now Open" banner. Upon entering we noticed that they are having a Black Friday Weekend Special and they have a selfie wall. Love it. Woot woot! We ordered a strawberry and local motion (from the local and exotic menu). I wasn't sure what the li hing mui was so I googled it. I was ready to try something new. The shaved ice is amazing. It's not like ice crystals it's smooth and absorbed the flavor syrups beautifully. You can also get more syrup if needed which that really made them stand out to me since most shaved ice syrups go so quickly so you are left with just ice. The local motion was good! The shaved ice was divided into three based on each flavor. The li hing mui was definitely a flavor I have not had before. It was good and unique combined with the mango and pineapple. We will have to come try out more flavors. Staff was very kind.
google avatar

Melissa P.

Yelp
If you like shaved ice try this place. You won't be disappointed! It was so good. We forgot to take pics of the dishes because we ate them before we thought about it. So refreshing and perfect to top off hot summer day! Will definitely be back.
google avatar

Vineet C.

Yelp
You would think that shaved ice couldn't be very different from others you've tried but I think what makes this place special are the flavorings. When we met the owner he mentioned that they utilize fruit purées where possible. Trust me when I say you'll notice the difference in quality ingredients here vs competitors. My favorite to get here is the Na Ka Oi aka "the best" combo. It's got a great balance of flavors and isn't too powerful. I tend to stick with the smaller size as it's enough for me and another to share. If you ever feel like the flavor doesn't go all the way down into the ice you can ask for a flavor top up at no charge! I've found that if you are too quick to eat the top layer then you might get bare spots so I recommend you eat slowly and enjoy the flavors. As the ice melts the lower layers get flavor from above.
google avatar

Marriah C.

Yelp
Wow! This is the best shaved ice I've ever had! Soooo snowy and soft! I had the Rising Sun and my kiddo got the Root Beer Float. My Rising Sun got a scoop of vanilla in it and it was delicious! My family was kindly helped with the ordering process and the lady also gave my husband a topping in the side to try. The place is so clean and cutely decorated! Worth a stop any time of the year!!!
google avatar

Susie G.

Yelp
Fantastic sugar free options! Delicious taste and texture- heard things were reformulated and it was simply stellar. Worth a visit!
google avatar

Jonathan K.

Yelp
Getting a taste of shave ice is hard to replicate, sometimes people want softer ice, some like the icy chunks, and flavors if they're fresh or bottled, comes down to preference. I prefer a soft ice with fresh fruit syrups so I wasn't the biggest fan of ululani's given how many other good spots exist in Hawaii, but given the proximity of where it is in Austin, it'll hit the spot if you have a craving
google avatar

Jennifer N.

Yelp
Had a fabulous experience here for our 1st visit! We cannot rave about this place enough. The service was so fast and quick even with the crowd. We are lucky and the line wasn't too bad. It was definitely crowded though but well worth it. There are SOOOO many options, something for everyone. I highly recommend getting an ice cream base with your shaved ice. The ube is phenomenal and with coconut the combination was perfection! My daughter got vanilla ice cream with mango and strawberry and it was also delicious. My husband got POG and that just brought us back to Hawaii. The owner was there making sure the lines moved smoothly and took time to talk to use. He is so sweet and the kids loved it there. Such a welcoming aloha vibe here. The staff was so friendly and welcoming explaining the menu and all the options. This is literally a piece of Hawaii heaven in round rock! We can't wait to go back again and hoping for some catering options in the future!!
google avatar

Yelp
Took my 4 year old who is very much a connoisseur of the shaved ice desserts and she gave this place two very sticky thumbs up. The texture is so smooth and creamy, you almost think your eating ice cream. They have lots of flavors options, I just wish they had one size smaller.
google avatar

Damian C.

Yelp
Walked into this new shaved ice shop off Palm valley. Firstly I must say the proprietors are super friendly and nice and great taste in music!! The ambiance is inviting and calm with a modern flare. Definitely a family owned business and the entire family seems to participate which is an awesome bonus. As for the shaved ice!! We tried the keiki rainbow, hawiian root beer(with the snow cap), and the rainbow. My favorite, Hawaiian root beer. The snow cap is melted ice cream. Amaze balls!!! This is a great spot to pop in.
google avatar

Yelp
All shaved ice is not created equal... and Ululani's is the best of the best Their shaved ice will melt in your mouth and their flavors are unique and authentic. I have visited Maui's locations and the Round Rock location tastes just as authentic. I went on a Sunday afternoon and it was about an hour wait to get my order, but the wait was worth it. The service is the friendliest I've experienced in a while. Employees came by sharing iced waters for those waiting outside and David himself was tending to the line. It was crowded inside but the turnaround was speedy. What I ordered: Sunset Beach No Ka Oi "the Best" both with your fave ice cream & mochi! Price: $ Indoor seating Free parking

Yelp
The first time I had Ululanii's shave ice in Kona, I was dumbstruck, not knowing that shave ice could be like this... so finely chipped and saturated with syrup that it was almost like sorbet. I was sad knowing that I wouldn't be able to have it again until returning to Hawaii... until I learned that there was a franchise in round rock. I drove up with trepidation... what if it wasn't worth the three hour drive (I was in Austin for other reasons but still)? I ordered a local motion with coconut ice cream underneath and it was almost exactly the same as in Hawaii. However there was one pocket of unflavored ice in the middle which I was slightly disappointed by. Still, there is no shave ice around that even comes close to the superiority of Ululani's. I highly recommend getting ice cream on the bottom... the contrast of the chewy, creamy ice cream and the light, airy shave ice is simply delectable.

Yelp
So there's a backstory here. A few years ago we went to Maui for a vacation and we went to Ululanis shaved ice. It was the best shaved ice I've ever had!! as soon as we got back to Texas I went to every snow cone place and couldn't find anything like it. Fast forward to now, I heard that they opened a new chain in round rock so we had to go try it out. We were not disappointed it was EXACTLY like the one in Maui!! The shaved ice over at this chain is so unique it's not like any other snowcone place you've been to. Most snowcone places have crunchy snow ones. This location, and this chain in general, has the smoothest snowcones you've ever tried. It's so smooth. It basically tastes like ice cream only it's not it's made of shaved ice!! This place is great for families, kids and friends. It's very versatile. I'm pretty sure everything on the menu is vegetarian and they definitely have vegan options as well and all of the flavors are gluten-free so it's great for people with different dietary needs. Another positive is that it has a whole parking lot so you don't have to worry about finding parking which is really nice. I definitely recommend people try this place only because it's so unique and special. There is no other snow cone place like it!!
google avatar

Kenny N.

Yelp
Just how I remember it from Hawaii. Customer service is great. The people working the line and taking our orders and making our order. I was able to get a free large shaved ice (Haleakala with ube ice cream) because someone accidentally grab the wrong one and they had an extra one while I waited in line. The line when by pretty quick (I went around 7:05 PM). I got the sunset beach with snow cap and it was great. Everyone in my group loved the flavors they got. I love that their syrup are make with real fruit which make the flavors taste so much better. They partner with Amy Ice Cream and was able to create the ube ice cream that they use here.
google avatar

David T.

Yelp
GROSS, POOR SERVICE, YUCKY are things I would say if I was trying to keep my favorite shave ice spot to myself. HOWEVER, that's not the aloha spirit so YUMMY, DELICIOUS, GREAT SERVICE are just some of the reasons why I'll keep coming back here. Don't get me wrong I'll fly to Maui for some sun and shave ice, but 15 minutes is so much closer and it's just as good! If you want shave ice come and try and if you're not sure what to get when you get there just ask and they'll happily assist you.
google avatar

Tiffany L.

Yelp
I can't believe we have an Ululani's in Texas now, it's like wait pinch me as I must be dreaming! However, I went to their grand opening on Saturday and can confirm this is the legit Ululani's. When you walk in, you feel like you are transported back to Hawaii but with a slight Texas twist with the y'all! Since it was grand opening day we were actually able to meet the store owners as well as founders David and Ululani. Not only were they so kind, warm, and welcoming but I was even able to get a picture with the one and only Ululani, what an honor! We don't often revisit eateries, but this shave ice was so good I HAD to have it everyday while in Maui especially their HANDMADE mochi made by another family member. Y'all let me tell you, this location continues to preserve the quality, taste, and hospitality of their locations on the island and encourage everyone to try! Ululani's has the BEST ice and love how all their syrups are made of premium ingredients so you know you truly are getting the good stuff and not anything artificial. Their Roselani ice cream is also a must, I especially like the macademia one as it is chock full of nuts and the ube is also a winner. You can't go wrong with any combination, but if you are a bit indecisive like me you can choose the "most popular combos"--During this trip I got Sunset Beach and No Ka Oi, also known as The Best! This was truly a memorable experience and I can't wait to come back. In the meantime, I picked out some of their merch which is all so cute! The best part is all profits purchased this day went to help their ohana impacted back in Lahaina!
google avatar

Dave H.

Yelp
We had a craving for shave ice. Now if you haven't ever tried shave ice, it is like a snow cone for the most part but the ice is done a little differently. We really liked the ones we got in Hawaii and never thought we'd find one in Austin, but here we are! David & Ululani Yamashiro, started their Ululani's Hawaiian Shave Ice journey in LAHAINA, Maui in December 2008. It is a franchise chain, but don't let that fool you - it is the real deal! They have really cool ice shaving machines, they use cane sugar for their syrups, and most importantly, they use ultra-filtered water! The shave ice is amazing. Definitely check this place out. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and makes for a great experience. We give this place 5 stars too!

stuart

Yelp
Oh my!!!!! What a great find !!! Best shaved ice outside of Maui. Absolutely a great staff and don't let me go on about the incredible shaved ice. So smooth and the flavors were great. Make this place your next destination. It's awesome!!!

Josephine A.

Yelp
All I can say is WOWWWWWW. So good, customer service is a 10/10. The lady who tended to us explained everything was so kind and thorough. She was patient with my toddler as she's in the picky stages and even let us get a taste test. Nice ambiance and great service. It's a tad bit overpriced but it's nice indulged every once in a while.
google avatar

Dylan G.

Yelp
The shave ice is really good and the syrup is delicious!! The vanilla ice cream is really good and free!! The workers are super nice and kind!!! They have given us free shave ice cause we told them we drove two hours to come here!!! They gave us blueberry pie and lucky charms shave ice for free!!!! The place is very clean and neat!! If you have a spot with ice they will happily give you more syrup!!
google avatar

Marci P.

Yelp
Ululani is hands-down, the best shaved ice in Austin! I wish they had a location in South Austin so we can go every day, but it's worth the trip to round rock. The shaved ice is so soft and delicious. My favorite is the wedding cake and habanero mango.
google avatar

Alyssa R.

Yelp
Kiddos enjoy coming here as a treat. I love that they make sure the shave ice is thoroughly flavored so you don't end up with just ice at the end of the dish. Plus for offering ice cream and mochi.
google avatar

Chelsea L.

Yelp
: Hawaiian Rainbow, No Ka Oi (what I got) First time trying this new shaved ice place that just opened in Round Rock! They have two sizes-kids and original the kid size is already so big though haha I really like the texture! It's softer than what I expected and you don't feel the normal jagged parts of the ice. I'm not a huge fan of the mango flavor-it tastes artificially sweet. I do like the coconut! Not sure what part was the passion fruit If there was water available, that would be so great The staff is really nice. Although there were a lot of customers (and lots of kids!), I can see their service is top-notch. We had at least 3 staff members ask us if we wanted a straw, if the table needs to be cleaned, and was considerate when we were talking pictures. Thank you!
google avatar

Gretchen M.

Yelp
Let's talk about the powdery like shave ice melt in your mouth with a good amount of flavored sweetness. That's the best part of Ululanis, the powdery ice! Did not disappoint. It tasted just like the one in Maui. It will definitely be our go to shave ice in town.
google avatar

Brian C.

Yelp
This was our second visit. We come here to celebrate after soccer. The flavors are all amazing, but whatever you get, be sure to put a scoop of ube (purple sweet potato) ice cream underneath. My favorites are coconut, guava, and mango. There's usually a line but there's a decent number of tables and the service is kind and efficient.
google avatar

Jacelyn Z.

Yelp
I am from the Islands of Hawaii and haven't had a bowl of authentic shaved ice in years! I was so excited when I saw this gem when looking for new places to try, which was so worth the hour and a half drive! The establishment was very clean and the workers were helpful and kind. There are also plenty of tables to sit at to enjoy your shaved ice, along with a cool photo-op sign! They also had merchandise that you could purchase such as stickers and shirts. Regretting not buying one, I will need to make a trip back! My Husband ordered the kid's sized chocolate flavored shaved ice. It was HUGE for a kid's size. It was smooth, creamy, and just overall delish! The ice literally melts in your mouth with every bite. For myself, I ordered the large sized P.O.G. (Passion Orange Guava) flavored shave ice. I also added a scoop of vanilla ice cream, topped with mochi balls and sweet condensed milk. The flavors were truly authentic. The syrups that they use do not taste artificial and overly sweet. It tastes like fresh squeezed juice! The mochi balls were pillowy soft, and just the perfect amount of sweetness. My family and I will definitely be back soon! It was so nice to just feel at "Home" for a little while.
google avatar

Sierra S.

Yelp
Sooo good! Very friendly staff and they enthusiastically offer more syrup if you want. Great flavors and adding coconut ice cream is so good. We've been several times and each time was a great treat on a hot day.
google avatar

Rina R.

Yelp
Flavors were plentiful. The "shave" ice is truly authentic as I have been to the Maui location also. Clean ambience. Friendly staff. The owner/manager went above and beyond when she observed that my order was getting soggy. She replaced it with a fresh one which was delicious; no questions asked. The aloha and Texan spirits are alive and well in this branch!
google avatar

Edward W.

Yelp
Amazing chain from Maui that is definitely worth visiting. Passion fruit, mango, guava are my go to favorite flavors along with a snowcap. We also added some macadamia ice cream. The quality syrup paired with the finely shaved ice creates a nice mouthfeel that makes you coming back for more.
google avatar

Ryan R.

Yelp
Great shaved ice! Been to several other places and they don't come close to how soft this ice is. We got the Haleakala and habanero-mango/wedding cake with mochi! The Haleakala was really good, especially the sweetened condensed milk pieces that were mixed into the whole shaved ice. But by far I enjoyed the habanero-mango wedding cake combo with mochi. Super soft and lightly sweetened mochi bites with just the slightest spice in the habanero mixed with the fruitiness of the mango and sweet of the wedding cake. Quite far away from me, but I definitely am going to come back here to check out some of their other stuff!
google avatar

Justin M.

Yelp
So me and the family decided to come here for an after dinner treat. Lemme tell you if you haven't been to this place you HAVE TO GET HERE. Whether you drive, walk, run, take the bus, or even worse take your Tesla find a way to get here. This place is fantastic. This is the softest, fluffiest shaved ice ever. Absolutely delicious and they have gained another bunch of long time customers.
google avatar

Lauren L.

Yelp
Loved to see a Maui based shaved ice place on the mainland! This place is about a month old. The line sitation when entering is a little weird I'll say because the cashiers and menus are on the side compared to where you line up when you first enter the door. Flavors and size were good / mochi was super soft. The Mac nut ice cream was great- it even had literal pieces of macadamia in it as well. I would say it could've done with just a smidge more syrup as I got to the middle before I hit the ice cream. I noticed some white snow patches. Overall this place is really good and I'd highly recommend to check out if you want a taste of Hawaii while you're in AUS!

Yelp
Wow, this shave ice was incredible! My wife is from Hawaii, and even she was blown away by how good and smooth (even creamy?!?) the ice was at Ululani's. They have so many fun flavor options, and even their ice cream is great. We went with the No Ka Oi, which included coconut, mango, and passionfruit and added a scoop of mac nut ice cream. It was the perfect treat, and we felt like we'd been transported to a beautiful tropical beach! Plus, the friendly and helpful staff definitely brought the aloha spirit with them. We look forward to coming back and trying more of what they have to offer.

Yelp
Made a pit stop while driving to Austin and glad we did! I've had this shaved ice in Hawaii so was super excited to get the chance to eat this again without having to fly to Hawaii. The shaved ice is still super soft and they have a variety of flavors to choose from. Super yummy and cute little place to eat. I was only surprised that it was nestled in a little shopping strip. Staff was friendly. Recommend to give them a try if you're in the area and want some shaved ice!

Yelp
I have nothing negative to say about this place. Family oriented, delicious treats, real aloha vibe. Also, the ice cream here is so yummy! Expect long lines because of popularity at this time, bring an ice cold drink, hat/umbrella and fat while you wait outside. It's worth the wait though.

Yelp
Lots of parking. Very busy. Friendly staff. So I've never been to Hawaii but anybody that's been always tells me how different the shaved ice is. I didn't think there could be that much of a difference but now I understand after trying ululani's. This was the small size and it's a lot of shaved ice. The staff was so kind as I was having a discussion with one of the staff about the flavors. They ended up bringing me a sample of their most unique flavors. I highly recommend calamansi (it's like if a like met a tangerine) it was so good and refreshing. I can't recommend the is place enough. The staff really goes above and beyond to make your expletive great.

Yelp
Amazing. The best and smoothest shaved ice I have ever had. I am fortunate enough to be able to experience Ululanis in Hawaii and the location in Austin did not disappoint! I don't know what type of ice machine they have there but it's so smooth and delicious. They have a wide variety of flavors and even have some suggestions and combinations. I love fruit so I naturally gravitate towards flavors like strawberry mango guava. I am also obsessed with Li Hing Powder so it was great to see that they had it as an option. The prices are pretty pricey for just ice and syrup but it's just such a refreshing treat

Yelp
Yes!!!!! Shaved ice staying true to Hawaiian roots. LOVE the flavors that you can't find at most shave ice places here (lychee, li hing mui). The decor is adorable--love the "aloha y'all" fusion. Great quality shave ice, love the flavors and toppings and atmosphere. Staff was so polite and helpful. I was greeted upon entry and was provided a menu. Wonderful experience and highly recommend especially on a hot summer day!
