Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice

The shave ice is almost creamy it's so fine. The flavor menu is huge with natural options and gourmet ice cream adds a delicious touch. The staff is friendly, helpful, and patient. Can't wait to go back.

Do you want an onoliciius shave ice? This is the place to go. So glad we live close by. The place is super clean and organized and the people are very friendly and helpful. It was busy when we came but the staff remained friendly and composed. Now for the shave ice.... they kicked it up a notch by using Roselani ice cream and the flavors are good. They have many flavors to choose from and am glad to see they're accommodating people who dont want the sugar but want the taste. The ice is also fine just the way it should be and they placed pukas in the ice so the entire ice has the flavor.

The best shave ice we had in Hawaii! Loved his spot so much. Got “the best” and it really was. All-natural syrups, not too sweet, refreshing ice, deliciously fresh mochi. Would come back for sure. 5 stars!!!

Hoooooo braddah fkn mayjah kine action Jackson...Staff was I think uncle was the owner fricken awesomest human!! This our first time trying them...we will be back!! We had the "broke da mout, sour tart, and local motion" all of them was action...but then uncle made us couple samples and those was winnahs "wet lemon peel and tamarind" braaaaah broke da jaw kine stuff...i don't like anything lemons peel...but braaaah i would def order that next time...then we was offered another sample but I neva catch what it was ‍...they just opened yesterday and the place was super clean...

This was my first time at Ululani's, and wow -- what an experience! I had the blueberry cheesecake shave ice and it *blew my mind* -- creamy, flavorful, and melt-in-your-mouth soft. The Sunrise Haupia with mochis was amazing too -- light, tropical, and the chewy mochi added the perfect texture. The staff was fun, friendly, and super helpful. With so many flavors, it was a little overwhelming, but they made great recommendations and made me feel right at home. Fun environment -and ambiance Perfect post-beach treat and a must-try if you're on the east side of Oʻahu. Can't wait to go back for more!

Yayyy for Ululani's shave ice in our God's Country! Yay for awesome customer service!! Yay for delicious, flavorful shave ice! I used to work for one of their stores, so I was so excited when I found out that they were opening up this one here in Nalo! Couldn't wait to get my shave ice fix and visit this store and the day had finally come where we had time to make our way. Conveniently located in Nalo town center in the same vicinity as Jack in the box and hele gas station. Plenty of parking, I mean sometimes that area can get busy and might be tight on parking, but you're bound to find one. So they are right next to the one and only, Ohana's bar. They have a few outdoor seating which is nice, cuz the inside is quite small. Very nice and decorative. I like the neon light they have "All Shave Ice is NOT created equal" lol few seating on the inside, few seating on the outside. Menu is very loud and clear. They conveniently have a bathroom for customers only, and a juice fridge to purchase from. Also, don't forget to check out their cute merch to purchase as well. Wife didn't know what to get (too much options to choose from) so she asked the very nice, friendly, young lady, which one was her favorite, and she had said sunset beach, so that's what she got, ulu size, with haupia ice cream and snow cap (condensed milk). Sunset beach consists of passion orange, mango, and guava flavor. And I got... (even though I used to work for one of their stores, never tried and always wanted to try...) a keiki size, li hing mui, pickled mango, wet lemon peel, with vanilla ice cream, snow cap, and mochi. Oh yah, they only have 2 sizes, keiki is small and ulu is large. Keiki was just perfect! Oh my gosh, so flavorful, flavors were so good, ice cream hit the spot... and especially, it was Roselanis!!! mochi had a nice chew to the shave ice! Awesome customer service, great vibes inside, bumping the music! Really great! Must stop in Nalo for shave ice!! 10/10 recommend! Go check em out!

They're having a soft opening. The grand opening is this weekend. Go check it out. There's lot of parking. This is their third location. We got POG. Passion Orange Guava Services are great. The workers are nice and willing to give suggestions. Very clean place. This summer this place is going yo be busy. Congrats yo the new locations.

Went to the beach and driving home my daughter spotted Ululanis and so we pulled over and got some Shave Ice. The service was excellent and they offered us samples of the flavors. The Mango Haberno was unique and had some heat. It was a flavor that has stuck with me and I dream about it nightly. This is a great addition to Waimānalo and we can't wait for our next round of shave ice.

From the moment we stepped into Ululani's we were greeted with so much Aloha! It was like getting a warm hug from a family member! The service was the BEST I've ever experienced! The shop is COOL! Ambiance, deco very welcoming & they also had a few t-shirts, dolls, baseball caps on display for sale. We couldn't resist and purchased 2 of their shirts! Now the main feature is the shave ice! Wow! It's so smooth & soft...i enjoyed every spoonful! They have a Large Menu of flavors & specials to choose from so good luck trying to decide! We just figured we'll just come back and try something different each time! Hard to have a favorite when each time you try something new it becomes your new favorite! This is my second visit with my family. So far, We've had these Specials. "The Haleakala (Coconut w/crispy coconut flakes topping), "The Local Motion (Li hing Mui, Mango, Pineapple) & my personal favorite the "Pick Me Up" (Green Tea, Coffee, Coconut, w/Sweetened Condense Milk Topping) & Azuki Beans on the bottom. It was my second visit so today I had Coffee, Melona & Lime w/vanilla icecream & Azuki Beans in the bottom. I'm in Heaven! Not only was the flavors & atmosphere so warm, but the service from every single staff is 100% fun, cheerful, friendly & sooo respectful! Love them ALL! I'll be back!

Accidentally walked into the soft opening today - team is in training. Sure, wait was a little extra because it was literally the first day, but wasn't even bad. I was so impressed with how friendly everybody was even when got plenty stress for first day! The cashier, even though he was definitely on the younger side, was professional, friendly, and super great with my kids too and made them excited. Outdoor tables for seating were great. I am sure this will be super super busy all summer long and beyond. Got li hing mui/ banana/ vanilla with sno cap and mochi. Ice texture was nice and smooth and yummmmmmm. 12/10 for my keiki and me! Will be back plenty.

Best shave ice on the island at this new place! The texture is absolutely perfect. Creamy and smooth. Their flavors are all top-notch and they have a lot of sugar-free selections too! Nice people. Go there.

Environment was nice, clean and inviting. I ordered the sunset beach with a free drizzle of li-hing- mui. Was so good but a little too sweet for me so I gave it to my daughter in-law. She loved it!!!definitely 10/10 recommend.

Been to multiple locations in Maui and Oahu and this location is one of the better ones. Friendly staff and line goes pretty quick. They forgot the ice cream in one of our orders and didn't put enough syrup on 2 of our orders but they apologize and made it right. Great service.

Waiting for this shave ice to come to the windward side!! The shop is so cool and the owners are local!! They renovated a space in the jack in the box mall right next to hawaiian cafe. Another local owned business that is great!!
