Ulysses Coffee

Cute coffee spot in a charming area. The coffee wasn't amazing for me but the pastry I had was delicious. In fact I just went there because another visitor girl I talked to while exploring, recommended I tried dije feta/spinach scone. Great recommendation! Also really cool conversation starters. Although not so sure about the marriage one if you're there on a first date 😝

My birthday twin and I were here on April 28th, I have never been here but she mentioned they had crepes. I really actually enjoyed my iced Mocha and the crepe was heavenly. I got the Nutella one but omitted the Nutella. Strawberries and bananas. It was really good. Service was fantastic as well, thank you for the good birthday lunch. <3

This place is trying to change it's name with new branding on and in the shop. We will avoid this place. This place was very racist or at least the person working the counter. Helped 2 other groups of several people before we said hey what's going on. We were here in line and you took their orders and didn't even acknowledge us. They said we don't really serve your type but what do you want. Our type is thirsty travelers. If not it's then how did they know everybody the served? Well there are too many coffee shops for this type of service and we left realizing our coffee wouldn't be very good anyhow. But really do you expect this type of service when you get coffee? This is our experience on 7/23 about 1:30pm, yours may differ but we would recommend avoiding this place until this is corrected.

Best coffee shop we got on the island. We frequent the establishment for our cortado, vanilla chai and a cup of whip cream for our puppy. The owners are great. Swing by!

Tasty spiced chai, I went here two days in a row but I was underwhelmed with the pastry’s.

Great refreshers, tasty pastries, delicious smoothies! Looking forward to our next visit here! The place opened just a month before our visit and is run by awesome folks who are into coffee and know what tastes great. Good luck!

I drink a lot of Americanos, this has to be one of the best. Great vibe here with excellent baristas. I will be a regular here.

What a great experience. The coffee was better than anywhere else. The flavor was great. Moving on to the crepes.... Freaking fantastic. I never had such crispy, delicious crepes in my life. Highly recommend this place.

Great little place to get coffee, fresh smoothies, wonderful baked goods! You can relax indoors or outside in a shady patio area. We were looking for a light lunch and found this place that had outstanding clam chowder and a fresh garden salad. Nice staff and very pleasant atmosphere.

The coffee was good. If we were reviewing based on the coffee alone, it would be four stars. The service however was abysmal. Not friendly or welcoming in the least. We smiled and said hello, but the two employees at the counter couldn't manage to return our greeting. I felt very awkward. We would've been more than happy to wait about 10 minutes for two americanos, but it was 25 minutes, with no apologies or explanations. And they weren't busy. It was a real head scratcher to say the least. As I said at the beginning, the coffee was good, but not good enough to deal with the service.

The clam chowder and the coffee are worth it. Located in cute Langley it's a great stop while you shop in town.

Yes! Now we are talking, cute place, easy and straight to the point. Coffee was good, flavors were good. Chai I think was the only not so great thing but it could just be a new thing. (Apparently the big chain does it dead on) Everyone else liked their drinks and we will be back!

Superb coffee that rivals the best in Seattle, tasty pastries (the strudels!), welcoming & friendly baristas (who are also owners), and nice little outdoor tables. Great spot.

If you are looking for whidbey islands best coffee stop, look no further. As a coffee snob, I am happy to share that the quality of the coffee PERFECT. I am also obsessed with the clam chowder and cinnamon rolls :) Thank you Ulysses for your wonderful service. Me and my wife will be back again when we visit whidbey next.
