Umai Ramen

Food: ordered the veggie black garlic ramen, and it was DELICIOUS! The fried tofu was on point as were the bamboo shoots, kikurage mushrooms, and fried garlic. I added an egg as well. I'm not a vegetarian, but this dish didn't make me miss meat. 10/10 The takoyaki was also tasty. Only drawback: a bit excessive with the bonito flakes which completely smothered the takoyaki. Not necessary. Scale back on the bonito and let the takoyaki shine. 8/10 Service: attentive, efficient. Atmosphere: casual, no frills Plenty of free parking in shopping lot.

This place is amazing!! Fast service without cutting corners. My server Chiann was so sweet and knew I was on my 30 min break. I knew what I wanted and everything was brought out super fast. The food is soooooo good. I had the Takoyaki balls and the Spicy Mazemen. I made a mess on my shirt just of how fast I wanted to taste everything at once. Worth it. Can’t wait to try something else.

Almost didn’t try this place but I convinced the wife just because you experienced one bad ramen place does not make them all bad. That being said this place was much better and the food was really good. They do have two vegetarian ramen options, not a lot but better than nothing and that is what we got. And what did the wife think? She was glad we ate there.

The food was really tasty. The staff was super polite and welcoming. The prices were good as well. The Poke mini tacos were especially tasty. The decor is really cool too.

I have been coming here since they opened. They were amazing! Now, unfortunately, it is different. It’s almost as if they forgot how to put love into their dishes and are chasing the money to keep the business afloat. The ingredients they put into their ramen is different and not so tasteful. Even the noodles taste strangely familiar as if I was purchasing Ramen packs from the grocery store. The portions are smaller and quite pathetic. The spicy tuna rolls are an absolute joke and an insult when it comes to size and price. I had high hopes of making this my “go-to” spot but it is just not worth the hype, price, or taste. The one great thing they have going for this business is the employees. Their customer service is excellent! Please do better and stop being lazy or cutting corners.

This is the first time I’ve been to this establishment. I was really impressed with their tempura batter, mini tacos, and ramen noodles (they’re chewy compared to most places) However the shoyu was incredibly salty and I thought the tonkatsu wasn’t seasoned enough, and rather tasteless but crazy oily (reference photo). Had the tonkatsu and shoyu been a mixed broth it would have been delicious. To be fair, my family insists it’s the best ramen in Vegas. I’ll come back and try it again, they said it was an “off” day.

First time here and loved it!!! Food is very tasty, abundant and plates came out very quick. Tried the Truffle Ramen, it was wonderful, rib-eye was tender and good portion, the mushrooms on this plate were delicious, definitely will come back.

I've been to Umai Ramen several times -- even on back-to-back days -- and it's always a great experience. I usually get my orders to-go, and they're impressively fast with preparation, which is perfect when I'm short on time. I've tried all of their mazemen, and every one has been absolutely delicious. The flavors are rich, the ingredients fresh, and the portions satisfying. They also have a stamp card, which is a nice perk for regulars like me. If you're into ramen or mazemen and want great food with quick, friendly service, Umi Ramen is a must-try!

We felt rushed, the team was staring at us while eating and they were making comments in their language. I ended up getting a to go container so I can eat at home. Place wasn't busy at all, if you were closing why take more clients ? It makes no sense Update your hours of service. online says 10pm closing time not earlier

Food was good but the service impacts your experience dining. A father and child walked in and asked if they could use the restroom for the small child and were told so rudely and belittling it tainted the experience.

Quiet little ramen spot tucked in a busy shopping center. It's not the best ramen but it's fairly priced and the workers are always very friendly.

We discovered Umai Ramen while in town to see Bruno Mars, and what a find! The food is delicious and fresh, and the service is impeccable and friendly with an enjoyable atmosphere. We will be back every time we're in the area.

Let's start with the good. Friendly services that was super on top of our order and took care of all our needs. Great looking menu with plenty of veggie options and vegetarian ramen. Somewhat of small facility with limited seating options but there was no wait. Unfortunately we hated our food. Ramen broth had no flavor and we were disappointed with the apps.

Wasn't to busy on a week day in the early evening. Service was friendly. I got the veggie black garlic ramen which was delicious. It was plenty of food.

Cool decor and simple seating area. Servers are friendly and patient especially for those that are extremely indecisive and need to study the menu for a while. Visited a few years back and this place is just as good as I remember it. Black Garlic Ramen- so much flavor from the black garlic. Broth has some depth to it. Who doesn't love fried garlic and onion? Ramen was cooked just right. Soft Shell Crab- batter wasn't too heavy, light and crispy.

The customer service here was terrible. When we walked in, the lady told us to sit anywhere, so we did -- but no one brought menus. About 5 minutes later she came by asking if we were ready to order, even though we hadn't even seen the menu yet. When we finally got to order, she came back rushing us again. The food was honestly mediocre at best. We didn't even finish it -- we were just too hungry to leave it untouched. When I asked for salt and pepper, she rolled her eyes and then came back a few minutes later asking to take them back while we were still eating. Who does that? The place also smelled bad, there was no AC, and the vents looked like they hadn't been cleaned in ages. The kitchen area looked dirty too. They have QR codes all over for Yelp reviews, but I honestly don't understand how they have good ratings. We'll definitely never coming back.

Got some ramen and other Japanese food in Henderson at this unassuming place that's got a lot to choose from. It makes a good meal on a rare cool day around here. Umai Ramen has a pretty authentic menu. Even though it may not be that authentic. There's a ton of options for any preferences. Best place to get ramen around here. It's not a hot weather food so it's often overlooked when it's hot out. This should be given a chance though. Has a lot more than just ramen on the menu. Lots of choices for vegans. It's about $12 for a bowl. The Veggie Black Garlic Ramen is the plant based option. Hot stuff and a lot of it. This is a bowl of veggie broth with veggie black garlic ramen. A lot of good stuff in it. There's bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, black garlic oil, fried garlic, green onions, and fried tofu. Had a hard time finishing it. This was just too hot for the weather. Better to get when it's cooler. Thankfully I was able to get it all finished. Have to say this has the best ramen around. It's a simple menu with a few choices. There's still a few things to get for vegans and vegetarians.

A nice little place for a casual meal. It's in the Target shopping center, near Ross. I'm a Ramen fan so opted for the Spicy Mazemen without mushrooms. You can choose thick or thin noodles. I went for the default thick option. In addition to a wide variety of Ramen they also have an assortment of Sushi and appetizers ranging from Karaage (deep-fried chicken), Gyoza and Tempura. The chicken was crispy and delicious. The noodles had just the right amount of bite. Very enjoyableand the service was great There's one TV, playing soft-pop music. Ramen and a Coke set me back $20, not too bad for a filling dinner. I'll be back.

Service was on point when I got there. Staff was quick and friendly. She made sure I got all I needed and checked on me. Ambiance is casual. Food: Veggie black ramen- so it came with tofu, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, fried garlic. It was OKAY. I have high expectations for ramen since I've tried ramen in Japan and cali. So far nothing here tops what I've had in Cali and Japan. The broth is suppose to be the STAR of the show. If I had to rate this ramen 2/5! It's too salty for me..It tasted like it was all soy sauced up! I should have asked for a miso based. The seasoning was there but too salty for me to even finished. The bean sprouts was too excessive but I get it- it's a veggie dish. It would be nice to have more green. Where was my seaweed paper... the fried garlic was excessive as well. Agadashi tofu- on point! I could have ate more of this! Perfect size. Small tacos- delicious. I could ate more of this as well. I will need to come back and try the other ramens. The veggie ramen needs some work. Thank you.

Umai Raman continues to maintain a high level of culinary excellence! The owners a highly experienced restaurateurs, and the chef is professionally trained in various types of cuisine, with Japanese cuisine as the primary focus. The ramen, mazemen, gyoza, sushi, poke salad, rice, and desserts are great. The ambience is also very nice, with fun graphics, and entertaining music videos playing on the tv. Service is impeccable! Nothing is overlooked by the staff while dining! And, they do it with a smile, unlike other restaurants. Thank you, Umai Ramen for the opportunity to enjoy great cuisine and service!

So good .....our server very friendly , the store is clean, table is organize same every row. Our foods came very fast and so good . And this ramen not too expensive

My boyfriend and I love coming here. I get Mazeman everytime and my boyfriend switches it up. But everything so far has been amazing. The food comes out lately. It's delicious.

Used to love it. The desserts are still tasty but this particular visit was $70 for three bowls of inedible and bitter ramen (still tipped 20%). The bbq short ribs were inedible and fatty. The black garlic was greasy. I asked for spicy and they said ok but didn't make it that way. They have changed the ingredients and portions. You get a lot less now and it's just not good. Four years and time to find a new place. Decor and music add to a cool vibe but that doesn't make up for the food.

Amazing ramen and good prices. Staff was extremely friendly. Store was clean and the portion sizes were large. Atmosphere was amazing they were playing kpop in the background. My gf loved it. I would literally recommend this place to anyone.

Dropped by for some good ramen today somewhat near the Sunset Station. The food overall was good. I enjoyed the broth a lot too. The ambiance was great. Music was playing a lot. The service was great too. Assistance came by a lot to check if I needed anything else.

Surprised at how good this place actually was, we're from la so our expectations for ramen are pretty high. The broth is really good, so that's always a good sign & surprisingly the soup to noodle ratio was pretty good, except there was too much noodles for me. Love the combo you were able to add a appetizer but honestly wasn't that much less than ordering it separately.

We were in the area and found this Ramen place. The ramen, takoyaki and gyozas were excellent! Our server took our order right away and the food came quickly. Nice little restaurant with clear decor. Can't wait to go back!!!

Good food at decent price. Tried this place because it was close to work. Came around 1:15pm and it was pretty empty. The waitress was very nice and helpful. I ordered a tonkotsu ramen spicy. It came out quickly and it tasted pretty good. This place isn't my favorite ramen place in Vegas but it was good and there are a lot of worse places to eat at. Overall, I enjoyed my food here, and may come back again because it's close to work. I recommend a try if you are close by.

The food is amazing I got the miso ramen with a lot of changes to my ramen. I'm a lil extra the broth is so rich & and lil light creamy like love it will be back bc I'm always craving real ramen my server was nice to always there when I need her they have a lot of options if u want sushi or appetizers the have it all on there menu come check them out

There is not one thing bad about this place, you really get what you pay for. Service is fast and friendly, food is made fresh, noodles aren't overcooked. Broth is delicious and I love their soft shell crab salad! Very nice place

I've driven by this little ramen shop tucked in the corner several times and finally went in last night. This little ramen shop is so cute inside and the staff are so friendly. You can see the chefs cooking in the back so you know your food is fresh when coming out and it comes out so quickly! The food tasted so wonderful and price is off the charts, especially nowadays and portion size was good! Will definitely be returning one day soon, and preferably on a rainy day since ramen is always best on a rainy day.

Im never one to make a review when i go out to eat but the way the customer service here was HORRIBLE. coming from a server myself i couldn't even get myself to leave a good tip because of how uncomfortable the staff members made us feel. It made us want to just get up and leave and cancel the rest of the order. The girl told us its a lot of food, okay we heard her the first time and said its okay. We continue to order some more and she says it not a second time but a third time about how much food we're ordering when it's just 2 of us. I'm sorry but you should never tell a table they're ordering way too much food when you already told them the first time. You don't have to continue saying that. And maybe also think about if the bill is higher you'll hopefully get a better tip from it. I understand why we were the only ones there in the restaurant and it's not because of the food the food was actually really good but because of the service. We ordered a second ramen and the guy in the back making the food comes out and tells the server a second ramen??? Like if they cannot believe how much food we've ordered. So we said don't make the ramen anymore and cancelled it. Edamame Shrimp tempura A sushi roll Noodles And 2 ramens (which we cancelled the 2nd one from how uncomfortable they made us feel) Is everything we ordered and i don't think it's a ridiculous amount of food like the server was making it sound to be. Seems like the people who work here should learn how to have some manners. I can't imagine someone being on the bigger side of the scale and coming to eat here and getting told it's a lot of food their ordering. We also felt very rushed like if she could snatch the menu out of our hands as soon as possible so we wouldn't order more. Horribleeeee.

Cool little place, although I felt a bit uncomfortable with the waitress standing in front of/near the kitchen area as my table was in front of her. Not that other patrons can't see you eat, but to have someone stand there the whole time was uncomfortable and unpleasant when trying to eat. I understand though if she was not allowed to go anywhere else, or if that's the most effecient place for her to be. The food was nice, I had the garlic chicken ramen, which I have never had before - it tasted a little burnt - unless it is supposed to be this way. I think plain chicken breast would be nicer instead of deep fried chicken. The drink portions are large, at least for me it was, so keep that in mind if you don't want to drink too much alcohol.

We saw this little ramen shop a while ago, but I never did try until tonight! We were always curious about this restaurant, so being that the weather has been pretty cold, we went in to try their ramen. Walking in, the restaurant is small, with about a half dozen tables. We were promptly greeted as we walked in and were immediately seated. Looking around, the place is very clean and the decor is very simple. The menu has a typical mix of ramen and fried rice, but they also have fresh sushi! Ordered tonkatsu ramen, cha shu fried rice, and a crunchy sushi roll. Our food arrived fairly quickly, and we dug in. First, the fried rice looked dark with soy sauce sauce, but it was very tasty, and I was pleasantly surprised. Next up, the sushi! It was very fresh, with perfectly cooked rice, and this too was very tasty! The tonkatsu ramen came piping hot, and the noodles were cooked al dente, which to me is how it should always be. The soup was a little weak, meaning it could be a little richer, but they also sell a richer version of tonkatsu ramen as well. Maybe I'll try that version next. Overall, the food was great! The prices are reasonable, and the service was very good! We will surprised me back for more!

Quite possibly the best ramen joint in Henderson! Big fan of the Black Garlic ramen with an Umai Bun, the staff is always super helpful, and there's J-POP playing on the speakers.

As a first-time visitor to Umai Ramen, I must say I was highly impressed with the food. It's located in an extensive strip mall so parking is plentiful. I was able to find a parking spot immediately in front of the Umai Ramen upon arrival. Upon entering the establishment, seating was readily available. The menu is on a front and back lamented paper which makes it easy to order. I decided to have the Black Pepper Ramen. Their menu is pretty extensive so if you are visiting the restaurant for the first time I would recommend taking your time. The ramen was brought to the table within 10 minutes which is great for lunch. They provide one pair of metal chopsticks with a large soup spoon. If you want, they will provide wooden chopsticks which are disposable or fork. The dish itself was flavorful. The broth was at the right temperature and all the ingredients tasted fresh. I would recommend this restaurant when you are in the area. You won't be disappointed.

Great food and service are incredible. Ramen is fresh and tasty. The location is good and the parking is ok. The only complaint I have is the sticky table. Try it and you'll love it.

My son was craving their mini tacos he got here with his dad some time back so here I am. Wish a took a photo. They were very cute and he was satisfied. He also had a California roll that he loves . My daughter got Ramen and was very happy as well. Attentive staff, served quickly + clean dining area.

Out for a Saturday afternoon, saw this place and decided to try it. I got the chicken ramen , it was so tasty and a generous portion. We shared a sushi roll that was delicious. The potstickers were good but can't top Fukumimis. However I enjoyed the ramen here more. The girl serving was very sweet and took good care of us. I tried a mango cream soda and loved it! I want to bring my mother here I think she would enjoy it. They deco is modern and inviting.

I just love a good ramen. A good ramen is even better when they make it a combo. Umai has the option of adding an appetizer to your meal for an additional fee. A salad is already included in the combo. I deducted a star because although delicious and cute, the mini taco was just too mini for $5.00. I should have used my finger for size reference. Overall, the food was great! The ramen was a good portion size, the black oil was not too overbearing but could not be missed in the ramen. They are clearly loved by the Yelp community in 2021! It's the first ramen combination option I've encountered making it unique. I would recommend them.

We absolutely love this new ramen shop in Henderson. We've been here quite a few times already and always receive fast, friendly service. They always have a smile on their faces, that means a lot to us as customers! I highly recommend their tonkatsu ramen. Babes loves their curry ramen. Their spicy tuna sushi and scallops are also yum! You can't go wrong with anything on their menu. Definitely try them out if you're in the area!

This place was really good. I went here with my boyfriend and it was not too busy. My boyfriend got the miso ramen and I got the Tonkotsu. Both were really good but I just prefer Tonkotsu. I got mine mild because there were three spice levels; normal, mild and spicy. Probably could've done the spicy though. We both got kimchi and the kimchi was awesome. I got the combo and it came with the mango salmon skin things and those were REALLY good. The combo gives you a free very very small salad; could've been bigger to warrant the price IMO. But all in all a nice place with great ramen. We also got tempura veggies and shrimp. The server was very nice too... water was never empty very prompt water service. I'd definitely go back.

Stopped here because it was close to our hotel. Service was attentive and food came out almost immediately! Both dishes we got were better than we expected. The mazemen "kale pasta" was so creamy and savory, really unique. Kimchi pasta was just the right amount of spicy for someone who can't handle a lot of spice :-p glad we stopped in.

Really good!! I ordered the black garlic ramen and it did not disappoint! It had black garlic oil, fried garlic, egg, pork, and bean sprouts. The flavor was amazing, get it if you like garlic. I ordered to go but the atmosphere inside the restaurant was super cute. First time here and I will definitely go back, I can't emphasize enough how much I loved my meal!

Not bad a spot if you're craving Ramen. The prices are a bit steep for what you get, and I feel the flavor is lacking just a bit. There are quite a few options for pork ramen, but not very many vegetarian options at all. I'm not sure why the ramen is split into $14-20 bowls and $10.99 bowls, but it was kind of confusing because the ingredients listed seemed like they were the same except for fried onions and a couple toppings being added. My partner and I both ordered chicken ramen at $10.99 a bowl, though she got a combination which came with an appetizer and salad. The salad is fairly small, but the fresh ginger dressing is nice. She had California rolls as the appetizer and they were decent. I felt the chicken ramen was a little "blah." Not bad, just nothing special or amazing. We've had incredibly flavorful ramen in Little Tokyo in LA that was $13 a bowl. I am comparing the value/quality to that spot, since it completely blew me away. I like notes of garlic, salt, miso, and mushroom in my ramen. This was mostly just bean sprouts thrown into a mild chicken broth. The chicken itself was pretty okay, as well as the noodles, but they would have tasted better with a more flavorful soup.
