Umikara Sushi Bar

Umikara was such a gem to find on Lincoln Road. It was small, intimate and very inviting. The playlist was amazing and we sat inside where they have a screen playing gorgeous landscape photos of Japan. The food was outstanding. We had the Dragon Roll and the Yellowtail Truffle Roll. We devoured them both and then asked ourselves should we have gotten 2 more? Fresh, flavorful and plated beautifully. We also had a smooth delightful sake called 10,000 Ways, highly recommend. I absolutely cannot leave here without mentioning Uriel, our fantastic server, who took excellent care of us, very attentive, friendly and engaging. A must visit spot near South Beach.

Miami Beach has no shortage of great sushi places. This one is no exception. A relative newcomer, Umikara (which means, more or less, "from the sea") offers up exquisitely prepared sushi. Extremely fresh, made to order, with obvious attention to detail and care. It's definitely not one to miss. Try the Lobster, Dynamite, the California Snow Crab, the Dragon Roll, the Crispy Rice, and Floro's Son. All delicious. Will gladly return, and it is so great to see Lincoln Rd getting great, local restaurants again.

Outstanding Sushi Experience in Miami Christian is the best! 🙌🏼 From the moment we walked in, the service was friendly, fast, and attentive. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between elegant and relaxed — great for a date night or just enjoying good food with friends. The sushi was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. You can really tell they use top-quality ingredients. We tried the Salmon Lover Roll and the Spicy Tuna Roll — both were absolutely delicious. The chef’s attention to detail is impressive, and every bite felt perfectly balanced. Don’t miss their cocktails 🍸 Definitely one of the best sushi spots in Miami. Can’t wait to come back!

Honestly, this place completely surprised me. The sushi was super fresh, perfectly balanced, and every roll had so much flavor without being heavy. You can tell they use great ingredients and actually care about what they’re serving. The server Christian was really friendly actually gave great recommendations! Definitely my new go-to spot for sushi. Highly recommend! 🍣

Amazing hidden gem on Lincoln Road! UmiKara Sushi Bar blew me away , everything from the atmosphere to the food feels authentic and crafted with care. The sushi is super fresh, beautifully presented, and honestly some of the best I’ve had in Miami. 🍣 The staff is friendly and attentive, and you can really tell the chef takes pride in every plate. Perfect spot for a date night or just to treat yourself to something special. Highly recommend the spicy salmon roll and sashimi platter , absolutely top tier! 🔥

Great vibes and nice ambience in the heart of Miami South Beach, the service and the food are great.. I love it the dynamite lobster roll, fresh and high quality. Francesco was welcoming us. He was great.

This was our first time coming to this place and will not be the last one! The atmosphere was nice and quiet, and the service was outstanding. The food came quick and was delicious.
