Un Posto a Milano isn’t new, but worth a mention for the outdoor space. It’s more “farm-to-table” than Milanese and there is a huge garden on site where they grow most of their vegetables. It’s located in Cascina Cuccagna, a converted 17th-century farmhouse.

I’ve only experienced the restaurant, not the hotel. I visited with friends who thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the ambiance. While the overall evening was extremely pleasant, the heat and mosquitoes did detract from the experience somewhat. The staff made an effort to keep the insects at bay using “zampironi” (mosquito coils), but given the number of bugs, a more effective solution like an electric zapper might be worth considering. That said, the food and wine were excellent—well-portioned and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, and I’ll gladly return if I get the chance.

The restaurant is extremely nice! You eat very well and have unique atmosphere. Suitable for friends gatherings, team dinners. Extremely nice location! For kids there is a changing room as well.

We saw this on a tv programme and wanted to try it. Gorgeous location in the middle of a city. Only knocked a star off as the welcome was a bit lacking we were early and it would be an opportunity to offer a drink but we were asked to come back later. Found a place to sit and wait and managed to get a drink from an outdoor bar (only alcoholic drinks being served but I persuaded her to give me a glass with just tonic). The food was lovely, it maybe needed a bit more seasoning. Great selection of wines. Nice prosecco and a lovely dark rose.

There was no reception but they were responsive through email and whatsapp. We stayed at the Aloggio Nord room, which looked charming. We had a comfortable sleep. The room was clean. The heater was not working but the blanket kept us warm. Wifi was quite weak .

Un Posto a Milano is a remarkable dining destination that perfectly blends the charm of an ancient farmhouse with the vibrancy of Milan. Nestled within the beautifully restored 17th-century Cascina Cuccagna, the restaurant offers an amazing garden that creates a serene and inviting outdoor space, ideal for enjoying meals surrounded by greenery. The ambiance is a unique mix of bourgeois and bohemian styles, combining rustic elegance with a relaxed, artistic vibe that makes every visit feel special. At the heart of the experience is the top chef Nicola Cavallaro, whose culinary vision brings together tradition and innovation. His dishes are crafted with exceptional skill, using fresh, seasonal, and often organic ingredients sourced from local small farmers, reflecting a deep respect for the land and its produce. The menu is a creative journey that balances classic Italian flavors with contemporary twists, offering a farm-to-table experience that is both authentic and exciting. Un Posto a Milano is more than just a restaurant; it’s a cultural hub where food, nature, and community come together harmoniously. Whether dining in the lush garden or inside the charming farmhouse, guests are treated to a superb gastronomic adventure in an atmosphere that is both sophisticated and welcoming. This combination of historic setting, exquisite cuisine, and a distinctive ambiance makes Un Posto a Milano a must-visit culinary gem in the city.

Stayed at this classic 17th century building. Room is clean but the internet is too slow, almost non existent.

Un posto a Milano hotel offers a convenient location to explore Milan, making it a great choice for travelers. The rooms are kept clean, ensuring a comfortable stay. However, the air conditioning may need improvement as the room can still feel warm. It's worth noting that the private bathroom and shower, though a plus, are accessed across a social area, which could impact privacy. Overall, it's a decent option for those looking to stay in Milan with some considerations in mind. Restaurant and bakery downstairs were perfect for breakfast/lunch/dinner or some late night drinks

Yelp
Cute spot that my local friends frequent. I came for dinner last time I came to Milan a couple of years ago, and for brunch on this visit. Personally, I preferred the brunch to the dinner as the glass covered patio is lovely in the daytime. We shared a lovely cheese and prosciutto plate to start and I had the fish of the day as of main. It was nothing too special, but was fresh and light, which was exactly what I wanted. The ingredients here all seem fresh and high quality, and nothing is too heavy, even if you order a pasta dish (which we did at dinner). Not a meal that you'll remember for the rest of your life, but one that will make you feel like you are experiencing Milan like a local does. Note: This is a very kid friendly brunch spot. They have a babies only menu and are very accommodating of strollers and children; there is even an area outside for children to run around. For you, this will either be a positive or a negative. TIP: Make sure to ask for the off menu dessert items from the bakery. The Tiramisu is to die for!

Yelp
I really like the place, although it's a little bit confusing. The entrance of the actual restaurant is small and you don't know who to ask to. The bar has delicious snacks and bite to get like a self-service. I had a healthy quinoa salad, a mini panini and a small fruit tart. My friend had focaccia and a fresh fruit salad really tasty. We got drinks at the counters and water is free! I really appreciate it. The restaurant meal options seem delicious too. Can't wait to come back and try it, but I think is better reserve a table. The place was pretty packed for the all time I was there. Don't forget to take a look around! The garden is wonderful, with comfy chairs to relax and look at the cascina. Next to the entrance there is also a small shop with organic local products. An oasis in Milano!

Yelp
A great escape from the city to have lunch ! It is a bit outside of the city center but with the metro easily accessible. It has to look and feel of a farm. You can enter via a courtyard and there you have a restaurant. You can choose between the take out and eat in a room where it's more self-service. I took a sandwich and a soup and it was really good. The house wine was also very good (but where not in italy?). The interior is really cool, it looks like all handmade stuff with a mix of vintage stuff. The place was packed but you still feel very relaxed here. It is a more alternative place. Nothing posh. Place to recommend to have lunch. I'll go for sure to try out the restaurant for a dinner.

Yelp
So this place is split into two parts, sorta. One section is a sit down where you get served and there is a menu. The other section is more casual where you go and buy your food and find an empty table to sit at (sorta like fast food) I tried the "fast food" section. Got a selection of meatballs, olives, focaccia, cheese, etc. It went well with white wine. Definitely will come back.
