Brooklyn’s Leo Is a Rare Master of Both Neapolitan Pies and Roman Slices | Eater NY

"At Una Pizza the outer rim of the pies leans into a toasted-marshmallow airiness, a contrast called out when comparing its pies (and those at Ops) with the sturdier-rim approach taken by Leo." - Ryan Sutton

As newcomers to the area, we were on the hunt for some Chicago-style pizza. While this place isn’t quite Chicago, it still serves up a fantastic pizza. The staff knew 98% of the customers who walked in, giving it a cozy, community feel. It’s primarily a take-out spot, and the atmosphere is an old pizza shack that hasn’t seen a remodel since the early 80s. And honestly, that’s where the best pizzas come from! Pro Tip: Order your pizza before you leave the house. It takes about 45 minutes to cook. Also, bring cash.

The pizza here is always good. We love the thin crust. We usually get a pepperoni, mushroom, and onion, as well as a bacon/pineapple, half cheese. The people there have always been so friendly. The food is great. We will continue to order from here.

We gotta figure out the science to get the middle of the pie crispy. Maybe I will try two smaller pizzas next time. Good service. Place is nice and clean compared to years before.

Ordered a carry out , I know they have new owners and hoped that they still made a amazing pizza , I was kind of disappointed though , I really liked this una pizza because of the unique flavor of the crust and because they use really good cheese too but this time they didn't put very much cheese on it and the crust didn't have that uniqueness to it anymore, I guess the new owner changes a few things , my heart is broke now , I'll miss the amazing crust they used to make back in the day. , I guess I'll just have to learn how to Make my own pizza thanks

I'm updating my review since it is now somewhat different with the new owners. I ordered a large mushroom green pepper and it was quite tasty. thin and crispy crust like I like. The pizza was pretty great, but the building itself has changed. it is now boring and gray inside. The place looks totally different but at least they still got good pizza and the hours are better and they now take card payments

We had carry out. Salad was excellent but the pizza was soggy with very little meat. It is usually my favorite pizza in town but I can't say that after this visit.

This will always be one of my favorite pizzas. I just do beef and extra cheese. It’s simple, but perfect!

Typically the best in Boonville, but it depends who makes your pizza i guess. Today, mine was not done and 50% went into the trash. In all fairness it's usually superbly done, but well done means well done.

Yelp
Food is always spot on! The updates are also welcomed! Great lighting and they now take cards.

Yelp
Guy was rude and rushing us over the phone. Told us wrong total twice so had to go to the atm twice. Pizza tasted like a microwaveable pizza. 4/10. Little ceasars is superior.

Yelp
Great pizza!! Service was good it's a pretty small restaurant. The thin crust is really good but, the Chicago style is amazing and comes with so much cheese on it!!

Yelp
Great pizza and the staff could not be more accommodating!! we ordered a thing crust pizza for an appetizer followed by the Chicago style pizza. The Chicago style pizza is a must try (1.5 pounds of cheese) - Call ahead to order this one as it takes about 45 minutes to prepare. Do not hesitate to try this place. Bring cash as it's the payment they accept.

Yelp
I have driven past this pizzeria for about 17 years. The outside is definitely a hole in the wall look. I decided to order their stuffed Chicago style pizza tonight. It was delicious. Don't let the looks of the building fool you.

Yelp
Best Pizza place in town! My husband and I have eaten there for a long time! Sometimes their pepperoni isn't as fresh as it should be, so I hope they correct that! It sure beats all of the other pizza places! JE
