Unorthodox Spices Meet Chocolate and Pastries at Intrigue’s New Capitol Hill Cafe - Eater Seattle

"A new all-ages pub in South Park called Uncle Eddie’s, from Keasa Jones and Michael Goldsmith, former general manager of operations for Elliott Bay Brewing Company. The bar serves a full range of booze plus beer, wine, and cider, complemented by snacks like curry-pickled eggs and fried mac and cheese balls; grilled sandwiches like a Cubano and a cheesesteak; and soups and salads, all available at lunch and dinner." - Megan Hill

Everything I've had has been awesome. The bartender/waitstaff has been incredible. Every stranger would feel welcome like its their neighborhood bar.

Woke up this morning to a call from brunch. We strolled in around noon and were immediately seated. Their patio has plenty of shade that makes the outdoor option pleasant instead of regrettable. Service was incredible and timely! We split the cinnamon roll, taco scramble special and classic breakfast sandwich. Everything was phenomenal, but the rosemary potatoes really stole the show. All of the ingredients were fresh and flavors were straight forward. There is something on the menu for everyone, from picky eaters to children. Thanks for a great start to our Sunday!

Visited here on a Sunday morning (with my fam; kids are welcome) for breakfast and it was AMAZING! The owner was there greeting guests and the servers were very sweet too. The orange juice is freshly squeezed, the biscuits and gravy are homemade as well as the jam. Most dishes are served with these roasted, crispy small potatoes and they are delicious! They also have a full bar (love that option for brunch) and the décor is super cool with retro pics of the Seattle area. My only regret is that I forgot to buy a jar of their pickles on my way out. Guess I'll be going back soon! Cheers!

The service was simply delightful—everything you could ever hope for! My waitress radiated charm, being both informative and attentive, with a warm smile that made me feel right at home. I indulged in the breakfast sandwich, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. I’m so thrilled to have discovered this little gem! 😍

If you're looking for a delightful dining experience, look no further than Uncle Eddie's. The chicken steak and Veggie Bennie are must-tries - bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The service is top-notch, and the freshly squeezed orange juice is a refreshing treat (a hard to find). The cozy ambiance makes for a great gathering spot with friends and family and they even have a external patio (for the sunny and warm days). Highly recommended! Cheers to good food and good times!

I love this place so much. My wife and I have been going here for years. I can't believe I haven't reviewed it yet. The food and the staff are amazing. Highly recommend the biscuits, gravy and hollandaise. Going to this place has a real neighborhood vibe and you feel so welcome even on your first time going in. The staff are so kind and warm. You feel like a regular when you go to this place so hopefully you do become a regular. If they've got a special and it sounds good to you, get it, it's probably delicious.

Our server was spectacular! She was absolutely awesome! Very friendly, thorough, and helped with food suggestions. My wife was able to get gluten-free bread for her breakfast sandwich, which made her happy, which makes me happy 😊 The rest of us truly enjoyed our appetizers. The food came out quickly and was perfect! Large portions, so we all had to go boxes.

Great place! The biscuit brunch is pretty tasty. GREAT potatoes. I don't recommend the Eggs Benedict just because there isn't enough sauce/yolk to make the whole biscuits it's on top of not dry. I do recommend the biscuits and gravy. Really delicious gravy. It's kind of pricy, but definitely tasty.
