"Uncle John’s Pancake House first opened in Santa Clara on El Camino Real in 1965. Half a century later, the beloved Bay Area restaurant was brought back to life in Campbell with the aim to recreate the classic American diner. Today, the pancakes, waffles, omelets, and sandwiches reign supreme, and don’t forget to check out the mimosas, which come in orange, pineapple, strawberry mango, guava, and seasonal flavors. Uncle John’s has since expanded to one additional location at the Alameda in San Jose, and the original founders are also the ones who opened Holder’s Country Inn in the 1960s — another Bay Area chain that’s garnered acclaim for its breakfast dishes." - Dianne de Guzman, Cathy Park

Google
I'm trying to remember if I have ever given a five star rating before. This was the best breakfast I've ever had eating out. We were seated promptly. The service was very good. And everyone was friendly. The French toast with fresh fruit was so delicious. The fruit was fresh and the French toast was soaked and cooked perfectly. The bacon was thick and cooked just right. Hubby had biscuits and gravy and said it's the best he's ever had. Also, the orange juice was fabulous. Great job!!

Google
Amazing breakfast place! All the dishes were really good, quality ingredients and good presentation. The drinks were also very delicious, nice fruit juice choices and a tasty spiked coffee. The mole enchiladas needed more mole, but you can always ask for extra. Be careful if you can't handle spicy food, the mole was spicy and delicious. The service was fast and friendly. Highly recommend this place 👌🏽

Google
Uncle John’s Pancake House in Campbell is my absolute favorite breakfast spot! It has that classic diner vibe with a super simple menu, and I love it. My go-to is the South of the Border skillet with country potatoes, paired with their chocolate chip pancakes and a hot chocolate—comfort food at its finest. It may not be the fanciest breakfast in the world, but for me, it’s perfect. Every interaction I’ve had with the staff has been so pleasant—they’re always friendly and provide great service. Plus, the prices are super reasonable. If you’re looking for a no-frills, cozy breakfast spot, I’d definitely recommend checking it out!

Google
The pancake was super yum and fluffy. Loved the chunky monkey toppings on it. Good coffee too! The place was packed in the morning on weekends but you can join the waitlist on yelp!

Google
Egg souffle was bland. Lack basic seasoning. Pancake was great. Great place for pancakes recommended.

Google
This is a great place for breakfast or lunch if you want something uncomplicated, old school diner style. The place is squeaky clean and the service is outstanding. The portions are voluminous. You can sit at the bar if you're alone or with maybe one friend or grab a booth or table. Parking around back. The prices are not outrageous but a little high, but you get quality stuff.

Google
Second time here. Their pancakes and waffles are superb. First time I had their Monthly Benedict and it was good. Not great, but definitely good. This time I went with a good ol fashioned, and it did not disappoint. Portions are generous, and flavor is exactly what I wanted.

Borislav Marinov

Google
Great place, but NOT top five in the South Bay as Yelp would have you believe. It is not bad by any stretch of the imagination, but it is a far cry from the top 20 in the immediate area for the same price and food.

Yelp
Wow wow wow! Was recommended to try this spot out by a family member and I can see why she recommended it. The items on the menu are your standard breakfast meals. I ordered the French toast and I love that you can pick your toppings as an add on. I picked the blueberry danish topping and I'm still thinking about how delicious my meal was. The brioche bread was thick and soft, but not soggy. My hash browns, bacon, and eggs were good as well! The portion size here is pretty good, you get what you pay for. I enjoyed looking at the wall art in the restaurant. We were seated right away, but I can only assume there will be a wait on weekends. I have to say it's definitely worth the wait, great breakfast spot in Campbell if you want to avoid the Pruneyard!

Yelp
Located on Winchester near downtown Campbell Uncle John's Pancake house brings their patrons you good food and service in a comfortable setting. As you stroll inside you will notice counter seat on the left, table down the center and booths on the right. On the walls they have some cool historical photos of the Campbell area as well as the original Uncle John's Country Inn pancake house. Wifey and I both ordered the veggie egg white omelette "we both added cheese" I substituted the fruit for their hash browns and got their Swedish pancakes that also comes with the dish. The omelette come with sliced avocado on top and a really yummy sauce. Overall the flavor of the omelette was really good however I felt it was lacking seasoning, salt? The sweetish pancakes "oh my gosh!!" I could eat them everyday all day they are sooo good and don't even get me started on the buttery lingonberry sauce to put on top!! The server was attentive and full of smiles, the food was brought out I. A timely manner and was hot off the grill.

Yelp
Step into this breakfast joint and be transported back to the early 2000s with its nostalgic ambience. Our delightful host greeted us warmly, setting the tone for a memorable dining experience. Service was lightning fast, adding to the excitement of trying out their dishes. The star of the show was undoubtedly the Carnitas Egg Benedict, drizzled with a tantalizingly spicy hollandaise sauce. Each bite was a flavor explosion, perfectly complemented by the succulent pork. It left us craving more. However, the crepes fell short of expectations. While the toppings were decent, they lacked the moistness and crisp edges that would elevate them to greatness. Despite being served with a jug of maple syrup, we longed for a decadent filling that would ooze out with the gentlest slice of our knife. In summary, the food was enjoyable, leaving us satisfied overall. After indulging in this brunch experience, consider taking a leisurely drive to Pruneyard, just a mile away, where you can immerse yourself in local events and continue the day's adventures.

Yelp
I wish I could give this place 4.5 stars. The food is so good! Our server was very nice! The pancakes put ihop to shame! They are so fluffy and have such a buttery taste. With your omelette you can choose from toast, pancakes, french toast, waffles or crepes. I got the pancakes which came with 2 decent size pancakes. I got a bacon avocado omelette. The omelette is so fluffy with multiple layers. The bacon is salty and crunchy, which I love! There is plenty of cheese. It also comes with hash browns which I wish were a tad bit crispier. I had to force myself from eating everything other wise I would have been so sick with the amount of food given. If I had to say some criticism it would be that the seating wasn't spacious enough and was uncomfortable with how everyone was next to each other. Also the decaf was not strong tasting enough. Everything else was amazing! I love it here!

Yelp
I went in the morning to order to go, young lady was super kind and the service was quick. I forgot to take pictures of the food the serving size are huge and the waffles and pancakes are fulfilling. Great breakfast spot

Yelp
The new location is a little confusing when you try to put it into your GPS. We were meeting a friend and our two parties ended up separated at birth . We finally figured out why I couldn't find my friend nor her name on the Yelp waitlist! We finally got it together and laughed when we were finally together. The place is super clean but feels little a sterile. I attribute that to the LED lighting establishment is urged to use. By the workers here are super efficient yet friendly and don't make it feel like they're rushing to try to turn the tables over. We ordered Chicken and Waffles, good juicy chicken, I would have preferred 3 wings to a wing and a breast, but definitely appreciated that the "wing" included the drum, flat AND tip. My friend enjoyed her avocado mushroom omelette, it came with a griddle add. She got the crepe, which was fine, but it had a bright orange tint to it. We couldn't figure out what the point of the coloring was. My other friend ordered the Chilaquiles with machaca. She said it was nice and spicy and pretty flavorful. Note though, it was super orange-y red. Again, another weird coloring to their food. Parking here is a little, maybe a lot, crazy. If you find a spot on the street as you drive up, you might want to take it!

Yelp
Always happy to stop by for a great breakfast! The staff is super friendly with good service. The scramble is perfect! I like crispy potatoes and they are always spot on when requested. The crepes are tender and the fruits are all over (inside and out). Definitely come with an appetite or plan for some leftovers, portions are generous, I'm not complaining!

Yelp
We visited Uncle John's on a Sunday late morning after shopping at Campbell's Farmer's Market. Greeted with smiles and sat at the counter. Enjoyed some delicious French Toast with a side of bacon and succulent Blueberry Pancakes with a side of sausage. We devoured our meal feeling content. Prices weren't bad at all. Good service too. Open 7 days a week. Breakfast and lunch is served with a great selection on their menu. Update: Visit number 2 This time I tried the Egg Whites Veggie with fresh fruit and wheat toast. My companion and her son had a decent sized Waffle and a Clubhouse Sandwich. Everything was delicious.

Ally C.

Yelp
I absolutely love the chocolate chip pancakes here but the past few times I've ordered they don't even put them in the actual pancake?? It seems like they already have premade plain pancakes & just throw them on rather than making them fresh. I'm super disappointed and hope this doesn't happen again in the future. I will also specify the chocolate chips need to be in the pancake but I feel like that's a given??

Yelp
Came here for a Sunday brunch around 12:30pm and place was packed. No one was waiting outside; however, every table was taken. We had joined their waitlist an hour in advanced so that saved us some time and efficiency. We dined outside given the sunny and warm weather and it was a great idea. They had maybe 4 or 5 tables out front, facing the main street which isn't hard to miss if you're looking for the place. We ordered French toast and corned beef hash and eggs, w/ a side of Swedish crepes. Everything tasted really good. Portion size was sufficient for us, eggs and meat was cooked properly, and everything came out at the right temperature. We appreciated our server who was so attentive despite being busy inside and out. We met a sweet little 6 year old dog (table right next to us) and both played for a while. Parking can be a hassle (you can do back parking lot, front or side street parking)...but most of the time, it's doable and if you're patient, you can find one. Nonetheless, it's a great place to go for brunch!

Jahmal P.

Yelp
Ordered the gingerbread pancakes and it was good but compared to their reg pancakes which are Great this is a distant second for me but if your looking for a different flavor try them. Uncle John is a safe bet for breakfast service the price and the quality.

Sunshinethu ..

Yelp
What makes this place so great is the service. They are quick, helpful, and very friendly. The management has no problem with substituting anything, I've even substituted a waffle for hash browns, and it was no problem. On top of the great service and easy-going attitude, the food is fantastic. I usually go for the chorizo burrito, but the blueberry pancakes with blueberry fixings are also incredible. Parking can be a bit vexing, especially on weekends when it is packed inside and waits can take up to a half hour or more. Overall, I think Uncle John's is a highly recommended experience! As they say, "breakfast made us famous"

Yelp
First time at this place. Showed up around 9am on a Saturday and there were a lot of open seats. It was a nice day so decided to sit on the patio. We were greeted warmly and promptly seated. Service was really good and the food was fantastic. My coffee was always full and food came out quickly. Will definitely be back again.

Yelp
Quickly seated based on rsvping via Yelp online. From there, it didn't match up to the experience of the other location on the Alameda. Took a bit for the order to be taken, and first one of the beverages was incorrect, and one of the main's (Breakfast burrito) didn't come out at the same time as the rest of the meal (so my 7 year old was almost done with his meal by the time by burrito came out). When I asked about the special chai not having the cream/cinnamon, they took it back to fix it. It came back with mounds of cinnamon sitting on top of the cream. The apple pie french toast was burnt on one edge but the apples were pretty delicious (lots of cinnamon) . The breakfast burrito was tasty but it didn't have any carnitas meat in it. Sitting outside was pleasant, until I realized that I was getting a bunch of little crawly biting bugs on me. The bathrooms were clean and I was able to clean off the bugs. So in general, recommend avoiding that spot. Not entirely sure what kind of bugs they are :S

Yelp
Me & my friend went here to have a pre-celebration brunch. We wanted to go somewhere cute that had good food and of course mimosas because what's brunch without a good mimosa. I had the steak chilaquiles that came with eggs. I'm not really an egg person but this dish changed my mind. I love the presentation of the food because it looked pretty and it tasted amazing as well. I would say it was definitely a 10/10 because i definitely devoured it very quickly the service here was great as well! The waitress who came to serve us was really sweet & nice! She was really fast in bringing our drinks, food and asking us if we needed or wanted anything else. They seated us quickly as well and that might be because it wasn't too packed when we went. The place is a cute breakfast diner and I would go here again!

Yelp
Came here for breakfast with a friend this morning. The parking lot was full. Luckily there is a parking garage next to the restaurant and we were able to find parking in there. When we entered we were warmly greeted. The only seating available were the tables and not the booths. The receptionist asked if we were interested in a booth it would only be about 5 minutes. So we decided to wait for the booth. It was ready and available to us just like she said. It has a diner feel to it in the inside with a long counter where you can also sit at and order your food. We looked over the menu and both decided on what to get. I got the California omelette soufflée with pancakes and my friend got the basic breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon and hash browns. Our waitress was really friendly. Our food came out in less than 10 minutes. So fast! The portions are huge. The food was really hot and delicious. I loved my omelette and the pancakes are really good. We both couldn't finish our plates and took the rest home. I will definitely come back to try the Swedish crepes next time.

Maria S.

Yelp
Awesome food! Quick service! We had great drinks too! Highly recommend. They do close at 2pm, therefore try to get there on time as they do get busy.

Ash L.

Yelp
My family loves this restaurant for breakfast. The food is good and the service is quick. We haven't had a bad plate here.

Michelle M.

Yelp
FOOD yes get their Swedish crepes with chunky monkey topping! Juices are not fresh squeezed fyi. Food came out fast. We came on a Fourth of July Tuesday holiday and by 1pm we had missed the brunch rush. They close at 2pm. Menu was nice to read with images. VENUE they have outside seating. I was able to walk my dog through the restaurant because the main parking is in the back and the outside seating is on the Winchester street side. Dog friendly! STAFF were attentive and no issues there. They bring the credit card machine to your table for easy check out. They have a rewards system too for frequent customers. I'll definitely be back!

Emily W.

Yelp
Very crowded on a Sunday lunch. We got takeout and it was ready in about 15-20 mins. I got the bacon avocado omelette, and chose house batter pancakes for my griddle item. It also came with hash browns. My friend got the egg white veggie omelette and chose the Swedish crepes as her griddle item. Portions were so huge! Loved that the egg dishes came with a choice of griddle item. That way I was able to try something sweet too. I only finished half of my order and saved the rest for a whole other meal! I thought my omelette, hash browns, and pancakes were all pretty standard and similar to other brunch spots, but I tried my friend's Swedish crepes and those were really good! The lingonberry butter on top of the crepes was 10/10 and it was so delicious and unique. Overall I think I'd come back for the Swedish crepes and to try other dishes!

K. L.

Yelp
Truly, truly a gem. The aura of the entire restaurant was cozy and fun; it really gives off the classic feel of an American Diner. The menu has a great variety of typical breakfast items, but I'd especially recommend things off the griddle. The staff were friendly and service was relatively quick. The french toast-just wow. They were quite literally the best pieces of french toast I've ever eaten. The Brioche bread was so fluffy, and the toppings were really generous. The portions of all the dishes are worth the price you're paying for. Uncle John's is a place definitely worth visiting. Check it out if you're in the area!

Lola M.

Yelp
Busy diner style restaurant. Join the waitlist prior to getting there. Service is great, the wait staff help you if you're not in their section, bringing coffee and etc. We had blueberry and strawberry topped pancakes. Pancakes are okay, not light and fluffy like I was hoping. Sort of dense in texture. Sausages were large and ham slices were a generous portion. Coffee was strong.

Snehal P.

Yelp
This is one of our favorite places to get American Breakfast. Very consistent with taste. Service is decent. Basic comfortable ambiance. You can get into waitlist line with Yelp. The place is very busy on weekends. One of the only places that serves coffee "Hot". Other places like Denny's etc. the coffee is never hot enough for me, and with cold creamer it becomes lukewarm. Not this place.. I really appreciate that coffee is served piping hot. I wish they would have more options for vegetarian people who don't eat or don't like eggs. Or vegan options. Our favorites are: Belgian waffles with chunky monkey topping- my absolute favorite. If I can eat whatever and never gain weight, this is what I would eat at-least twice a week . California Benedict- my mom loves the Benedict. Egg skillet Love this place!!

Cyndi C.

Yelp
A popular place. The service is quick and friendly even during a busy time. The food was good, good portion size, and came out quickly. The menu is easy to read (although it would be helpful to know what's in the dish). A thoughtful and cute coffee station for when you're waiting. It's connected to a parking lot plus street parking.

Alex O.

Yelp
So let me start off by saying that I've gone to the other location for Uncle Johns Pancake house on the Alameda and the service and food was INCREDIBLE, I was so hype to go to this location. I put my name down on the yelp wait list and it said to check in in about 20 minutes. Once my window check in time arrived, I went up to the counter and was greeted very politely. I gave her my name and verified how many people were in my party. She told me that I would still have to wait so I gave her my number and she said they would txt me once my table was ready. The wait was fairly short, around 10 minutes. Not bad for a Sunday morning breakfast/brunch. We got sat down and got menus and a special month menu as well which was cool. I ordered a passion fruit mimosa which had run in it and my fiancé ordered the watermelon mimosa. The drinks came fairly quick. (I actually spilled about 1/4 of mine because I mixed it and it foamed really bad lol) I asked for extra napkins which were never brought so I cleaned it with what we had and the table was super sticky :( anyways, Mine was really good with a strong passionfruit taste and a slight rum finish. The mint was a nice freshness element to it. My fiancé really enjoyed her watermelon mimosa. It was fresh and really flavorful with tons of watermelon flavor. Okay, on to the food. I ordered a big boy breakfast with Swedish crepes, my daughter ordered a griddle meal with pancakes and my fiancé ordered a country fried steak. So the food came out fairly quickly but the service ended there. We never got asked if we needed anything past them bringing the food out which really was a bummer. I asked for extra napkins again, some ranch for my daughters fries and some straws but none of those were brought. My server beaver came to check on us and only came to give us the check. That was a missed opportunity as we wanted to order more drinks and it sucked because we never got what we wanted as well. Overall, the food was delicious but the service was horrible. Hence why I still gave them some stars but my experience could of been better. I think I'll stick to the Alameda location.

Chantal T.

Yelp
Amazing brunch place!! Went a little after 1pm on a Saturday and we were seated very quickly and kindly even though they close at 2pm. The restaurant is a very bright and casual diner, I liked the old fashioned style menus. We sat at the counter and got a large orange juice, the french toast and added fresh fruit, and an avocado and mushroom omelette (soufflé style) which comes with hash browns and a griddle side of your choice, so we got the waffle. Everything was super yummy and filling, the omelette was the best imo as it was very fluffy and layered with cheese. Loved it and can't wait to come here again!

Nancy G.

Yelp
And I'm back... 2 years later, the service is still phenomenal. Came here on a busy Saturday morning. Got seated in less than 15min. The hosts are very welcoming and the servers are very attentive. I got the chicken and waffles, my boyfriend got the country fried steak and eggs. We both got mimosas to start the morning off right. He got the strawberry mango. I got the guava. Both were delicious. Perfect amount of food. I left uncle John's satisfied, ready to take on the day.

Prasiddha H.

Yelp
Had a chance to try Uncle Johns and I'm so glad I did! This is a community popular breakfast spot that is famous for the pancakes as the name suggests but I ended up ordering the breakfast burrito with chorizo and this was delicious! We ordered take out and brought it home, service was fast though and folks were friendly. This dish also came with hash browns which was delicious. Overall good food with good portions and flavor, would recommend to check this place out!

Srivatsan S.

Yelp
Lovely place with delicious breakfast options. Would have loved to see a few vegan options, including non-dairy milks for drinks.

Robin D.

Yelp
I had never been here before, but I have eaten at many breakfast places in the area since moving to West San Jose a year ago. I saw reviews on Yelp! and it looked like a good place to try, and it was. The atmosphere was great and very busy. It's a quaint restaurant with an old-fashioned vibe. I was seated immediately. I got there at about 8:10 in the morning on Sunday. The staff was cheerful, and I ordered the California Omelette. It came with hash browns and a "griddle" side. I asked the waitress if the Belgian waffles were crispy and she said they were. Guess what? It was! Beautiful breakfast, and honestly... Between all the places that I've gone for breakfast, they have the best coffee. The service was fast and my waitress was cheery. My omelette was fluffy and beautiful, the hashbrowns were crispy, and my waffle was crispy. Of course I had to ask for more "buttah". I just LOVE buttah, LOL! I really enjoyed my breakfast, and I will definitely be back. Yum.

Coral Z.

Yelp
I had an appointment close to here and I knew I had to stop by afterwards. I've been here before and every time I come I try something new, and every option combination has always been great! Today was no different. I was welcomed and seated immediately. Honestly, I'm writing the review because some times you go to places and you are blown away by the simple things your servers and staff do to make your experience wonderful. I mentioned that I liked the blueberry glaze and I'll need to order extra next time I come, and my server (shout out Melissa) immediately went to grab some extra for me! This is one of my favorite breakfast places and I highly recommend! Great Staff, Service, and Food!

Margaret J.

Yelp
Great family breakfast!!! Will visit again when in area!!!!!!!!!! Close to Winchester mystery house!

Jaime J.

Yelp
Food is great service is absolutely fantastic and I recommend this place there is only one thing parking is very small you probably will be driving around looking for one .

Christopher C.

Yelp
4 star review is only because of the slow service. We were told we would be seated after cleaning a table but somehow still had to wait 15 minutes on top. As far as the food goes. 5/5 Food was incredibly AMAZING like I always pick a burrito or chicken fried steak king of guy and today I decided to pick the Carnitas skillet. FENOMENAL everything from the potatoes being very seasoned to the pork carnitas and the salsa that goes with the skillet was great. I loved the seasoning in the dish all around. All components came together perfectly Would definitely come back for the food carnitas eggs Benedict Again amazing flavor from the hash browns to the hollandaise sauce was great. We definitely will be coming back! Paloma mimosa was definitely great as well good taste

Elaine D.

Yelp
Went here for brunch. They had a private parking but I parked on the street, there was plenty of parking there. Service were great, very attentive and super nice considering how busy it was. The egg Benedict was really good. French toast was good, not a fan of cinnamon but still pretty good. Would definitely recommend eating here.

Nancy C.

Yelp
We came here on a Sunday morning at 8ish. No wait. They do not have espresso drinks, but Lookout's less than a block away. We got our caffeine at Lookout, then walked over for breakfast. Cuban benedict ($18): a little salty. Very generous with the chipotle hollandaise, much appreciated. Absolutely delicious -- amazing combo of flavors, smoky spicy and hitting the spot. Highly recommend. 5/5 Country fried steak ($18): steak itself could be better. A tad thin, and the breading could've been more crunchy/present. 4/5 Hash browns (included with both meals): some of the better hash browns I've had from a diner. No frills, but they nailed the crispy/crunchy exterior. 5/5 Would definitely come here again!

Ruhi C.

Yelp
I was truly blown away by the great experience I had at Uncle John's Pancake House. To start, we put our name on the waitlist for a party of 2 before we arrived. It was easy to find the place, with plenty of parking behind. Once we got there, we were seated immediately at the counter, which had a foot rest to make seating extra comfy! Our server, Carly, was fantastic. She was super friendly and helpful, as was the rest of the staff. You could feel the positive energy in the restaurant. We ordered the breakfast platter and a strawberry mango mimosa. The breakfast platter consisted of bacon, eggs, and pancakes. The food was great, but the pancakes were exceptionally good. They were fluffy, sweet, and tasted of high quality. The mimosa was also delicious and tasted fresh! My only complaint is that there was strawberry pulp in the drink, which made it hard to sip through a straw. Overall, this is a great place to have breakfast/brunch and I definitely would come back again!

Gary T.

Yelp
Great value for American breakfast and usually pretty quick to get a table. Their $10 kids breaky special is a really good deal for it comes with egg, breakfast meat, and a griddle item. I ordered the big man breakfast which includes 3 meats, pancakes, and 3 eggs. Planned to share with the kids but ended up couldn't finish it. Service was fast and attentive. Coffee refill was quick and frequent which I love. And it tastes great. Knocked one star for the pancake syrup which is really tasteless. It's not even sweet, so why bother.

Mike S.

Yelp
We met with some friends for breakfast this AM (on a Saturday). The food is decent and the service is good. Only thing is that parking is horrible on the lot. If you do come here you may want to park on the street. Or come here before 10 AM.

Pooja G.

Yelp
We visited for brunch on Saturday afternoon after putting down our name in yelp waitlist. We were seated almost immediately although the place seemed to be busy and bustling with folks. We ordered the big boy breakfast to share between that includes three meats, hash brown, eggs and choice of griddle ( e went with French toast). We also ordered two mimosas ( guava and strawberry mango). The food tasted good. My suggestion would be to make sure the waitresses clean the tables and chairs in a better fashion. Even after we were seated the table had strawberry jam and residues stuck on it that we unfortunately got on on sleeves. Total cost was ~$44 before tip.

Jayne C.

Yelp
Chilaquiles were not good. Beans were cold and chips were stale. Couldn't even eat it. They did take it off the bill so thank you. My husband had the fried chicken and waffles and has been in the bathroom since we left the restaurant. The wait staff were helpful and understanding. We won't be back.

Lester G.

Yelp
Came in today 6/16/2024 for Father's Day, typical long wait which i was fine with. Other than this everything else was horrendous, terrible service from our waitress, pressuring us to order fast. Food was mediocre, had to send my food back because the cheese wasn't even melted. Never coming back to this place.

Yelp
Pancake My Eyes off of You One of a number of breakfast-centric restaurants owned by the same local restaurant group, including Brew City Grill, (multiple) Unlce John's, Jack Holder's, and Holder's Country Inn. The Good: *Located in an interesting complex, where there's plenty of free parking in a lot and garage. Just make sure you park in a spot that says "3hr retail parking." *Nice old-timey dinery vibes inside. *Prices are fairly reasonable as you get quite a bit of food with each meal. *Cuban Benedict was delicious and a meat lover's paradise: eggs, large chunks of carnitas, and bacon make this the mother of all Benedictions. *Their eponymous pancakes were excellent: soft, fluffy, and a nice chew. The Meh: *Service was a little Meh. Nothing great, nothing bad, just kinda there. *I could be wrong--and that's usually when I think I am--but the maple syrup doesn't taste like the real stuff. It had that corn syrupy flavor. The Ugly: *The location is a bit bizarre in a small retail space next to an old folks home. But they seem to do well as they were fairly packed for an early weekday brunch. TLDR: Good breakfast spot with nice aesthetics, decent service, and an interesting location.

Yelp
Still awesome service - Melissa rocks - food is hearty, cooked to order - and considering the quality, quantity compared to anywhere else the prices are spot on. My two faves are the big hearty breakfast or whatever it's called comes with all the choices and biscuits and gravy with eggs and jumbo sausages. Thanks for consistent fabulous service and terrific food !! I've figured out also per the owners suggestion to use the advance wait list on busy days after visiting 10+ times now

Yelp
We came on a Sunday around noon for 6 people and it was about 30 min wait. I ordered the Bloody Mary which was pretty good. Then I ordered the mushroom and avocado egg scramble with hashbrowns extra crispy paired with pancakes. I asked for no cheese on the eggs and loved it. My cousin got the cheese and his eggs looked more watery. Pancakes were ok but I had a bite of the waffle which was so good! Their fried chicken and waffle was really good! Service was great and food came out pretty quickly.

Yelp
I visited Uncle John's Pancake House once with my young niece, and it was a delightful experience. The food was delicious, and the service was friendly and attentive. Despite the challenge of dining with a two-year-old, both the customers and the staff were exceptionally cordial and accommodating, creating a comfortable ambiance for her. There was also something on the television that kept her entertained after she finished eating. I highly recommend this place for families and friends. The pricing is reasonable, and I'll definitely return for another family meal. While parking can be a bit challenging due to its popularity, there are free parking options on nearby streets if you're willing to walk a bit.

Yelp
We came in last weekend for a quick breakfast and the place was pretty packed. We ordered some Belgian Waffles with the chunky monkey topping along with the Egg White Veggie. The waffle was airy, fluffy and delicious and melt in the mouth! The veggie egg white was alright, it came with generous portions of fruit and toasted bread. Decent spot, but not particularly a fan of their slightly rushed and 'meh' service.

Yelp
Good alternative when breakfast club is too busy lol Parking is tight but there may be some spots in the neighborhood nearby. They have online waitlist through Yelp, be sure to check in with the host to speed up the wait! You can tell them whether to want a table or counter. We were 12th in line but got seated fairly quick! I decided to take the counter because it was more spacious. My bf and I were getting 3 dishes. The 2 seater table looked really cramped. The food was really good! The March special menu had crab cake eggs Benedict and it was really good. It had onions, tomato, avocado and crab cake. The portion was really good too. The egg was perfectly poached. I wish this was a regular menu item! The Belgian waffle was very fluffy. Id say if you like your waffle fluffy then go for it. But I prefer mine slightly crispy. To me it was just like a pancake shaped like a waffle. I added the fresh fruits with blueberry glaze, but personally I thought it could've had more glaze as well. I was expecting the glaze to be a little more runny. My bf got the Swedish crepe with chunky monkey topping. He really enjoyed it. It was a thick kind of crepe. The chunky monkey had strawberry banana and Nutella sauce. Pretty bomb. I tried a few bites and it was like the crepe was melting in my mouth.

Yelp
This is suppose to be the blueberry stack of pancakes. Are you kidding me? Please someone justify this at a dang pancake house? Are we kidding????
