Longer wait times that seemed unnecessary several tables had left and employees standing around but only 1 person really bussing. I waited over 30 minutes and watched 7 tables that just needed to be turned over left untouched. Employees seemed disengaged. Food was fabulous but operations could use some work.

Taco bowl was delicious. Came on a Saturday night around 8 and was so surprised as it wasn’t very busy. Our server Matthew was so nice and has perfected the art of checking in and making sure we are doing well without coming by too often, he was wonderful. Didn’t get a photo of the chocolate piñata but was delicious and worth it for the celebration. Haven’t been in many years but will be coming more often!

Today I had the worst experience at Uncle Julio's in Brentwood. I have been there 3 other times with no issues but this evening was really sad. The place was fairly empty when I arrived for dinner. A couple was there after me and they got seated before me although I had a reservation but I brushed it off. Then the server came to my table only three times this evening meanwhile the food that was brought out by another server was lukewarm. I had to get another server to bring me warm tortillas and she came back with cold ones and she had to come back to fix the issue. I have a hard time paying prices for a birthday dinner that wasn't worth it. Your servers need to be extremely aware of the tables they're serving. The server for the table behind me visited their table over eight times. Paying over $100 for a dinner that wasn't worth it is a travesty. Please do better for your patrons that pay their hard earned money on your establishment.

Update* year later and I found myself back to try again. Same great food and same crappy bar service. I thought it was a fluke but it is a trend. The entire staff has changed again, all new people. Restaurant was not even 1/3 full and the bar was bucked up. Several from our group didnt get drinks for 30 plus minutes and then were told they didn't have what they ordered. This visit has sealed their fate, I won't be back, and I won't be taking out of town guests here anymore. I would suggest the same to anyone else reading. I know I said I wouldnt be back last review, I mean it this time. The food was great! Waiting was not that great. New bar tender, new hosting staff, and wait staff. I can tell they are all learning, im good with that, but dinner for 8 with only 5 tables in the whole place seems very off to me. Staff was friendly, drinks were very slow, and so was the food. Cheese dip was coldbut they did warm it up. For the price of everything, I won't be back.

The food was tasty. We actually thought the ribs were back but our server was unaware(only at certain locations in Texas). So we tried the kids meal and the shrimp and crab enchiladas. It was tasty but my food was cold My son wasn't that hungry but thought chicken was flavorful. The watermelon margaritas is to die for!! Highly recommend The churro was 6.5 out of 10 I will return to try the steak fajitas and more tasty drinks Our server was very nice. Ambiance nice, and management made the rounds to check on service 👌

Google
Man this is high end Mexican restaurant where the food is done well. From the appetizer to the fresh salsa made daily, the food did not disappoint. The service was wonderful. Jason was the server and he was very personal and shared stories and shared laughs. I could go on and on but if you're in Brentwood, you need to definitely consider Uncle Julio!

Google
The food was overpriced for the tiny servings. I got the chicken fajita plate and i was underwhelmed by the serving portion and the quality. I could've gone up the road and got more for less and the quality would have surpassed UJ's any day. The drinks were great and all of our servers were wonderful (even the handsome tall guy with the curly red hair), but I'll pass on the main courses.

Took my family here because it was within walking distance to where we wanted to try first, but was unfortunately closed. When we walked in on 12/31, my wife and 3 children were excited to find a seat quickly. Took about 10min to even get someone to our table (wasn’t busy at all, but lady at the front door seemed “tired” so my guess is lack of energy from many that day). Gentleman finally arrived, and after another 10min, finally got some water and chips/salsa. I am a food critic, and I’d rate their salsa 6/10 (“smoke style”, dark, and slightly off texture - maybe something in the kitchen was off that day?). Food finally arrived (Guacamole, kids chicken tenders, soda (coke), bean and cheese burrito, steak fajita bowl, and southwestern Cobb salad. We paid $83.31 (check #80024, Table 61). The kids meal was DISGUSTING (chicken tenders and bean/cheese burrito). Our kids didn’t even eat it! EXTREMELY SMALL PORTION (highly recommend NOT bringing your kids here because their meals are meant for kids). My wife ate her salad and said it was disgusting, and the chicken tasted “raw” and “chewy” (she ate about 75% of the food). The fajita steak bowl was pretty decent (steak cooked at a perfect temp, around 130 degrees, and had a blended and perfect texture). The soda (coke) was FLAT - not sure how the waiter (Carey) didn’t say anything because it didn’t even look dark in appearance, or they all simply didn’t care. Either way, it was terrible. In my opinion, stay away. I tried calling about a refund but the lady hung up on me twice. When I asked to finically speak to the owner, I was “being transferred” and their phone line coincidentally lost connection. In my opinion, you will 100% waste your money, and I’d highly discourage anyone from eating there. I’m sure they have a few solid meals, and a nice alcohol selection, but I believe they need to reduce their menu, stick to what sells and has positive reviews, and remove the rest. My family and I won’t be going there again, nor can I recommend any of my corporate teams to try this place out. Do I believe I might personally try it again BY MYSELF? Yes. But I won’t waste an entire family trip. I provided feedback on their payment device too, and hoping this review finds its way to their management team so I can get a refund back (minus the tip to Carey - he deserved that). Thank you.

Yelp
Great food, and a yummy piñata for the kids! A place I would really recommend as it was a fun time for the whole family!

Yelp
We visited Uncle Julio's in Brentwood last night for dinner around 7:30 PM. It wasn't a busy night, likely due to the holiday just the day before, and the restaurant closes at 9 PM. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly and promptly seated. The service was excellent; our waitress was attentive, quickly brought us waters, and patiently answered all our questions about the menu. We started with appetizers: queso with ground beef and birria tacos. The queso was a bit greasy but flavorful. The birria tacos, served in small squares, were absolutely delicious, however a bit pricey for appetizers. For our entrées, I had the crispy tacos, and my partner ordered the quesadilla with steak. The steak came with a $4 upcharge, which brought the quesadilla to $19--a bit pricey, especially since there was not a lot steak added. Both dishes were fresh, tasty, and came in regular size portions. A helpful note: beans are complimentary if you request them, but you do need to ask. It's stated on the menu, so be sure to look out for it. We also tried two cocktails: Julio's Gold Margarita and Tres Amigos Margarita. Both drinks were delicious, well-balanced, and complemented our meals. The restaurant has an upscale Mexican vibe with soft background music, which allowed for easy conversation. It's spacious, with indoor seating, a bar area, and outdoor seating equipped with heaters for cooler nights. The outdoor area looked inviting, especially with its pretty lights, though it was too cold to sit outside. Parking is a bit spread out as the restaurant is part of a shopping strip. There's no parking directly at front, but there are options for street parking, a nearby lot in the shopping center, and a parking garage are back of shopping center which is a short walk to the restaurant. The prices are slightly higher than a typical Mexican restaurant, but the quality of food, and overall experience was good. They also offer a happy hour Monday through Friday from 3-6:00PM. The menu looked enticing, and we would come back to try happy hours as prices are more reasonable priced. Uncle Julio's delivered a great dining experience with attentive service, delicious food, and a welcoming ambiance. A bit pricey for portion size, however I would recommend it if you're looking for upscale Mexican meal.

Yelp
It gives me no joy to say this, but Uncle Julio's was a real letdown. Upon arrival, the broody (Timothee Chalamet wanna-be) host ignored us repeatedly before finally leading us to a table, sulking all the way. Once seated, we waited again to be greeted by our waitress. Thankfully, she was cheerful & attentive, but the food & drink service was still much too slow. The food itself left much to be desired. I've had more unctuous meals at Taco Bell and for a fraction of the cost. Like seriously PLEASE give me a cheesy bean & rice burrito instead of this. The salsa was overly spiced, but, in fairness, the frozen margaritas were tasty & helped wash the strange flavor down. It's a shame that the food & service were so disappointing, because the restaurant itself is very inviting and comfortable. In short, Uncle Julio is the relative I would avoid at extended family gatherings but it helps to have a drink in hand.

Yelp
I've been to this restaurant many times over the years and unfortunately I've went from 5 stars down to 2 stars. We went for lunch today and it wasn't pleasant. The past 3 visits we have noticed something has changed. It isn't like it was a year ago. It's way overpriced and our server today was more worried about her phone than making sure we had what we needed. We had to ask another server for a refill of lemonade. I had 3 Chicken tacos with hardly any chicken for $19.00 and you have to ask for the " Complementary " beans. My wife had the steak fajitas for $28.00. My granddaughter had the kids 1 steak taco with a side and with an extra $4.00 charge for a lemonade, adding up to almost $15.00. We also had the mushroom quesadilla for an appetizer, which for me was the best part of our meal. Total bill was $82.00. No thanks Julio.

Yelp
We didn't even get to eat here. It was 4:30 pm with myself, husband, and one year old. We walked in and the restaurant was at best half full. We spoke to the hostess and didn't have a reservation and were told we could sit at the bar which cannot accommodate a high chair. We were also told the two top booths (in the bar area) were not open seating and we couldn't sit there either. All that to be said they said unfortunately we cannot seat you, have a good night. We have always liked the food here, but this was unacceptable to say the least. Be warned it doesn't matter what the restaurant looks like, how full it is, or even how early it is, they only want you here if you have a reservation.

Yelp
Hey there, fellow foodies! Let's talk about my recent dining experience at Uncle Julio's, where the flavors were a mixed bag. Starting with the starters, the Made To Order Guacamole was a standout, definitely a step up from the plain guac. However, the Queso Blanco was solid but could use a bit more flavor punch to really make it pop. Moving on to the mains, the Beef Enchiladas impressed with good quality corn tortillas and a tasty house red sauce. But the real star of the show? The Chicken & Steak Fajitas - an absolute must-try. The steak was incredibly tender, making every bite a delight. Now, let's talk dessert - or rather, let's not. The Churros were a total disaster, arriving twisted and lacking the signature cinnamon sugar dusting. Worse yet, they tasted like old oil - a major letdown to end the meal. As for the dining experience, the server was decent, but nothing to write home about. While I'd like to return for those amazing fajitas, the disappointing dessert and average service leave me considering other options in the area. Uncle Julio's Brentwood, you've got potential, but a bit of fine-tuning might be in order.

Yelp
I had lunch here yesterday and really enjoyed it, so much that I needed those queso birrias again tonight. Yesterday the bartender was a delight and attentive. Tonight I once again sat at the bar and the first bartender was CRANKY and appeared to be bothered by having to provide service. Then Another bartender stepped in (Brinan) and while busy very competent and friendly and apologetic for the delay. I still enjoyed my meal and Brinan certainly accommodated me. I'm sure I'll be back again, but maybe lunch time is better. I still really like the food here and since Brinan made it ok - I'll return

Yelp
Fantastic night at UJ with Kathryn taking great care of us for Meredith's birthday!! Really good food tonight and fantastic margaritas. Will come back again soon.

Yelp
Fantastic energy and fabulous service! Their happy hour is so reasonable with many favorites at a lower price point. Love the atmosphere and lively vibe!! The place is large with indoor and outdoor seating, great decor and very friendly staff. The bar area is a lot of fun with TV's and great conversations going on all around. The food is super enjoyable! The endless chips and salsa are just the beginning. Their chips are hot, fresh, light and crispy! Their home made salsa has a mild and spicy version. I really liked both of them. I have tried a few entrees and they have all been good. Recommend the shrimp dishes and the enchiladas were a winner as well. Their portions are quite big and the whole experience becomes a feast. The drinks, a must try. Very much liked the swirl frozen margaritas and the skinny margaritas were so flavorful and refreshing. I will be back again the next time I am around Brentwood!

Yelp
It hurts my heart to leave a bad review for this place, as the location I lived near in Chicago was absolutely wonderful! This location unfortunately... is not. Standard Tex-Mex. Waited an hour for a table. Fine, it was a busy Friday night. Finally seated in the bar where we asked not to be seated. Went to sit in my chair and dang near fell out of it the chair was so broken. My dad kindly gave me his high top chair, we told the hostess we needed a new chair. She said she was on it. 15 minutes later my dad is still standing and no one has even come to offer water yet, I thought they forgot about us. Our waitress finally came by, she was incredibly sweet and nice! Notes the chair issue again, and I watched her take the broken chair to another table 5 feet away where no one sitting for another kind soul to fall out of another day. Chips and salsa brought out, asked for hot salsa. PSA, they don't have hot salsa. I ate one bite, same as mild. Ordered food. I got the Mexican Caesar salad with no protein but asked for roasted cauliflower with mine instead. My folks ordered a fajita plate to share. It's dead by this time. One hour later, our food arrives. I had been waiting so long I wasn't even really hungry anymore. No cauliflower, they forgot. Terrible experience. My folks love this place, said they go often and this was the worst experience ever, but "it's normally better." I'm not convinced.

Yelp
You can make a reservation on resy. I'd recommend if you're with a larger party. There are some side parking and parking decks available to park in. My first thoughts after walking in was how big this restaurant was. Definitely a more upscale Mexican restaurant. The restaurant was very spacious and could easily accommodate a large party. They bring chips and 2 different salsas to start with. Both salsas were actually delicious and may have been my favorite salsas I've ever had! We started with some drinks. The perfect Paloma and mezcalero (if you like smokey) drinks were both great choices. The small house guac and small chile con queso were more than enough for appetizers. I'd say easily enough for 2-4 people. My only suggestion is to use bowls for the guac as it is harder to scoop off a plate. We both ordered chicken quesadillas and looking back we would have just ordered one quesadilla to share. They were very large quesadillas and after putting together what we didn't eat we left with a whole quesadilla. The service was amazing and they bring a mobile card reader to your table to pay. If you are splitting a bill this will make it very easy for you to choose what goes on each check! Overall 4 stars just because I can't justify paying that high of bill for a Mexican restaurant when I've received the same experience at many other Mexican restaurants for half the price!

Melodie R.

Yelp
Food is wonderful. I'm afraid I just get the salmon every time as well as the fresh guacamole. Never fails. Service is top notch.

Ariel L.

Yelp
Tennessee taxes 9.75% of 105.65 = 115.96 plus tip = 138.18 ?? How Uncle Julios is charging more??? $8 more per order average....there's something fishy here... The kitchen was a chaos...1 hour to received 1 quesadilla 1 salad ...? We knew it was expensive but for $ 146 ...next time we can go t steak house an get 2 of the best cuts in town for less money...!

Teresa F.

Yelp
The ambiance here surpasses most Mexican restaurants. Major decor, art, and lighting paired with high quality meats and freshly made tortillas make this special occasion worthy Mexican. I recommend a reservation as there was a wait when we arrived. The Desert Pear Margarita w chili rim was a perfect cocktail. Highly recommend the fajitas- both steak and shrimp were fantastic! Enchiladas were also fantastic. Loved it!

Maday M.

Yelp
Their food tastes good but the service it's awful we came last weekend and we noticed it was not full like it usually is and it made me wonder but then I figured out why, we waited to be seated for 30 mins and we had reservations, then no body wanted to take our table I could see that in every waiters face, I was getting mad so I got up and asks for the manager he didn't even apologize how rude, anyways he said someone will be there soon. So someone did come but it took forever to bring everything the drinks and let's not talk about how long did he take to bring out the food ( the food was cold) I was ready to leave but it was my husband special day. We saw a lot dirty tables around is like the restaurant is going thru some shortages of workers I think they should close the place if they don't have enough people to take care of tables

Ronald F.

Yelp
Had a birthday for my adult son. The food and service was amazing and the chocolate piñata, fabulous. That was the birthday treat.

Jennifer E.

Yelp
We walked in and the person at the desk never greeted or even acknowledged us. She never smiled. We were seated and our server arrived 5 minutes later no smile. We ordered drinks and asked for sweetener for the iced tea. She came back with drinks and no sweetener. Asked again and she brought 4 packets. 2 Splenda. 2 sweet n lows. Jeez thanks. The section was dirty w debris all over the floor. Bathroom had a sticky floor and broken soap dispenser. I LOVE Uncle Julio's but the manager or area manager needs to fix the customer service and cleanliness of the store.

K G.

Yelp
The only thing I liked about UJ was its location. Wanted to meet my sister for dinner somewhere between where we each live. Haven't been to UJ in at least 5 years because I didn't think it was great the last time I went. It hasn't gotten any better. Food wasn't very good and service not great either. Waitress was nice, but when she brought my husband a warm beer and he told her it was warm, she offered to bring a cold glass instead of an actual cold beer. She remarked that they must have just restocked the beer so that's why it's not cold. Well no kidding! How about taking it back to the bartender and getting a cold one!!! Never again. There is better food to be had, even in Brentwood.

Michael J.

Yelp
The atmosphere was nice. This is a great date spot. Food was good but not great. It really depends on what you order. Definitely do the table side Guacamole.

Brian S.

Yelp
Amazing flavor ! Black bean salsa and fresh tacos. I will come here when In Nashville. A must.

Amanda H.

Yelp
The kitchen was so severely backed up that it took over an hour after we ordered to get food. We ended up needing to take it to go it took so long to get to us. It made my dad's birthday dinner pretty dang disappointing.

Rachel R.

Yelp
First time here. Beautiful interior in a nice shopping center. First impression with service was not good. Walked in at 3:30pm and there were a ton of tables and booths open. Nevertheless we were told it's a 15 minute wait because of a transition in servers. Got to our table and the waiter was nice. Ordered the queso dip appetizer - It was not good. Had the consistency of soup with a strange salty flavor. I ordered the cheese enchiladas as my main meal. Hard to go wrong with enchiladas but they were hard and again the flavor was lacking. The only thing that tasted good were the two salsas Wanted to like this place. Oh well.

Danette F.

Yelp
Arrived around 820pm on a Friday night. Could tell we just missed the rush. Sat at the bar and ordered 2 drinks and got food menus. Almost 30 min later we left and went to Cinco De Mayo for drinks and dinner. Bartender, who was pouting because he had been so busy with no help, made sure to take care of everyone else at the bar and never asked to take our order. We even asked a guy cleaning the bar if he could take our order and never happened. Heard great things about this place but will never return.

Michael H.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and the service was great! The food was very good the steak fajitas were cooked perfectly and their home made tortillas were very delicious! Would recommend coming here!

Beatricia N.

Yelp
The food was very good. I had the fajita steak bowl and it was delicious. The restaurant wasn't too loud, which I appreciated. The only negative comment I have is that the waitresses did not wait until everyone was done eating to remove the plates. I find it rude and disruptive when waitresses decide to take plates away when some of the party members are still eating their meals. This is a common issue I see in restaurants in the USA. The rating will be lower due to the service.

Shakia C.

Yelp
Uncle Julio is in a cute location where's it's walkable to shops and etc. We didn't make reservations but only had a 30 minute wait tonight so not bad. We started with the house guacamole (not pictured). I love guacamole but wasn't impressed with it as it included hunks of tomatoes that needed to be cut up more. They do offer table side guacamole as well so hopefully that one is better. I ordered the fajita chicken quesadillas which I enjoyed. I was torn between this and the fajita bowl but I was happy with this decision. I've come here before years ago and it didn't disappoint tonight. After dinner, I highly recommend you take a walk to Jeni's ice cream afterwards.

Orest S.

Yelp
I liked the place overall, it's kinda new Mexican restaurant, fancy and great interior. I enjoyed their service, drinks and appetisers.

Lance B.

Yelp
Food gets worse every time we have gone. Ordered the $22 crab and shrimp enchilada--two very tiny soft shell taco looking items came out on plate. Looked like a lean cuisine microwave meal. Also looked nothing like an enchilada. And beans cost extra!? Beans!? Ordered a Pacifico. Only comes in cans there? Waiter brought can, no glass. Second beer he had already poured in a glass when he brought to table. Overpriced, bland food who only succeed due to a prime location. We won't be back.

P T.

Yelp
I had a horrible experience at this place last night. We were sitting at the bar & asked for a menu after being there for about 10 minutes with no one to great us. There was a black guy at the bar who was rude to us and started to take another customers order while also completely ignoring the fact that I had asked for a menu politely. He told me that " the other people were here before us so we have to wait" mind you the menus were right next to him and we were in arms reach of him to get a menu. About 7 more minutes go by and he tells his co worker to take care of use mind you we STILL never received menus almost 20 minutes later. The black guy was very rude us before we even interacted with him. I would never eat here again because of the horrible service.

Yelp
Uncle Julio's has an awesome patio to enjoy a ' lil Mexican Fiesta & some good food! The inside is nice too & usually has a good energy. I had the 2 soft taco meal with 1 beef & 1 chicken on corn tortilla. They were yummy but hands down, I like the chicken much better. My husband & I got the house & it was uber fresh & tasty. They have a table side larger option that you can customize but we weren't that hungry so we went with the smaller option. I would love to give 5 stars for the food but sorry, Uncle Julio, no me gusta su salsa!! I wish you would get a few more options. I can most definitely give 5 stars for our service. Shout out to Michele D! She was AWESOME! She was very sweet, personable & attentive. Michele is a rockstar server! We will definitely be back soon because of her!

Heydy P.

Yelp
Crazy over priced. Plus the rice was cold... super cute chocolate piñata though. The staff was really nice too

Michelle C.

Yelp
Always enjoyed Uncle Julio's in years past, but tonight felt the quality has really decreased. Two of us ordered Quesadilla and the other two enchilada's. The enchiladas were not great, the rice was dry and they brought the wrong beans. We also had to request a knife and was given a HUGE steak knife to cut the enchiladas. Overall just meah.

Meki A.

Yelp
Came here with my mom, I haven't been here in years and it was my mom's first time. We had a great experience. Our waitress Kristen was amazing, she was extremely personable and very accommodating! We started off with the barbacoa beef quesadillas, and let me tell you, it was delicious! Very flavorful. The food came out super quick, we were a few bites in when our entree came. That was my only negative since we waited to be in our order to prevent that, but it wasn't a major issue. We ordered the steak fajitas for 2 and added the habanero bacon wrapped shrimp. We love spicy foods, the shrimp was very flavorful but it wasn't spicy. The steak was prepared to perfection. They make their own flour tortillas and they were soo good! We will definitely be back. Would recommend for a date or groups. If you come here ask for Kristen!

Aimee H.

Yelp
My food was awful. I got a pulled chicken bowl which on the menu read very fresh and flavorful. But what I got was two-thirds cold unseasoned rice with lukewarm pulled chicken also not seasoned, some black beans and tortillas strips ... that's it. It was missing the grilled onion and peppers, the queso, pico de gallo, the lime cream drizzle and the avocado... all which was in the description on the menu. I really should have sent it back but I had just traveled four hours, was hungry, and didn't want the hassle, My husband's food was better but not anything to write home about. And way over-priced for what it was.

Jason M.

Yelp
The staff and servers were great however the food was without flavor and bland. I didn't know you could make Mexican food taste like nothing. I don't think they use any spices when making of their food. If you think black pepper and salt is "spicy" then you'll love this place. The tortillas tasted like white bread. The fajita steak tasted like unseasoned steak. The chips and salsa were the best part of the meal. This place is upscale Mexican food for people who hate the taste of Mexican food. I honestly can't believe this place has more than 2 stars. Let me say again, the servers were great, but the food was absolutely garbage. I blame the manager/owners for allowing this. They obviously do not like Mexican food. To put it in perspective, Taco Bell, as gross as it is, is more flavorful and authentic than Uncle Julio's.

Casey D.

Yelp
Best Mexican restaurant I have been to in my life. Quesadilla is the size of a medium pizza filled with chicken or steak... or BOTH! Queso comes with ground beef and peppers, a unique twist with a flavorful starter. In house bottomless salsa. Try the Steak fajita bowl!

Lacey P.

Yelp
This used to be a great place to eat but it's really gone downhill. The tables weren't bussed, the ceviche came out with completely raw fish, the bathroom was gross, the margarita and Paloma had no flavor to them, they had no soda available...disappointing all around. We probably won't be back. What a bummer.

Roman C.

Yelp
Ambiance and decor: A+ Bar and drinks: A- Food: C I've travelled a lot and even lived in CA where Mexican food is authentic as it gets. The food here was pretty bland. Especially for the premium price. Bar and social scene is great though. I'd come back for Happy Hour or drinks any time. Service was also good. Too bad the food wasn't up to par. Menu is pretty limited. Fajitas seemed to be their strength, but some of the better items are in the $30-$40+ range. For that price I expect gourmet, which was not the case.

Terry M.

Yelp
This was once a great place to get food and drinks. It did not take them long to fall completely off the map from what they once were and it will become painfully obvious to you if you decide to "eat" here. The food lacks any flavor at all and their drinks are watered down. Clearly, this chain has gone the way of other failing restaurants with cheap ingredients they try to pass off as "food" while trying to convince customers it's fresh. No amount of watered down alcoholic drinks will convince me that this establishment hasn't lost its way. When you return 90% of your food uneaten and the serving staff doesn't ask you if anything is wrong, it's because they already know.

Yelp
A silverfish crawled out of the chip bowl, the waiter removes it from the table, and walks away. Then a regional manager brings another bowl over I told him to get out of here with that. The store manager the. Came over and apologized, she comped the food we left and will not be back.

Yelp
I love Uncle Julio's!!! Their Honey Habanero shrimp are sooooo good! Today I had the Carnitas tacos which were very yummy and my girlfriend had the Tex Mex Combo which was also very good. The Hatch Chicken enchilada was fabulous, but the beef enchilada was the winner for sure! The table side Guacamole was a nice treat and always a go to here, but the winner winner chicken dinner was the chocolate piñata for dessert! That amazing chocolate stuffed shell with pineapple, strawberries, churros, whipped cream, and chocolate syrup! Fabulous!!!

Yelp
First the food was nothing great. But the most shocking was the hunk of lettuce root in the taco salad. I mean the entire root and long stringy tendrils of roots still attached. But that was not the worst of it. The manager came by the table to introduce herself and ask if we needed anything. I said well actually you need to know what is in your salad. Instead of immediately apologizing and trying to make a bad situation better - (I understand that accidents occur in food prep). She responded " are you sure it's not just the hairs from the corn. I handed her the plate with it on it and she poked at it and took it away! Wish I had taken a picture first. It was NOT corn silks. And even if it was a wad of those don't belong in the salad either! Never going near that place again!!

Yelp
Whew. So pricey. We had four drinks and three taco S-Also got table made guacamole. 180.00 plus 36 dollar tip. Service was good. Drinks were overpriced (35). Tacos were bland and disappointing, I've had much better taste at a faster food chain . I'm not so sure I would return. Nice room and hostess tho

Yelp
Service is a nightmare at this location. I went in around 2 pm on a Saturday, and there were multiple people waiting in line to put their names on the list for a table, but there was no one at the host stand. We continued to stand in line for over 10 minutes. Multiple servers walked past, saw the growing line of people waiting to put their names down, and did nothing. After about 15 mins of waiting, I abandoned the line to go seek out a host myself. I found two hosts standing near the back of the restaurant and asked for their help. The male host kept rolling his eyes as I asked for help. My party ended up just leaving the restaurant. Clearly they didn't want our business. I love the food here, but service like this means I definitely won't be back.

Yelp
Service was perfect. Restaurant was dirty. Dusty light fixtures, etc. food was underwhelming. Got the steak fajitas and it was hands down worse I've ever had. Steak had big fat chunks on it. Who eats that. The rice was crunchy and old. Boojie place. Pretentious menu. No thanks

Yelp
The food here is delicious it's a taco place but more of a modern taco place their chips are definitely homemade or made in house they're very thin but they taste fresh and crisp and their tacos was good their meat is not over seasoned everything is really good maybe not a homemade Mexican place but a very good place if you want the taste of Mexican.

Yelp
New to TN and this place came recommended. We were told the wait was 30 min (party of 2). We waited 57 min to be seated while tables were cleared and sat empty. The girls at the front hostess booth were not very helpful nor apologetic about the delay. When we finally were seated, hoping that the food was worth the wait, we were pretty disappointed. Food was subpar and lacked flavor and authenticity. A little advice, reconsider who you have as greeters/hostesses, attitudes go far whether good or bad. We won't be back!

Yelp
Extremely disappointing experience. We had a large group, but made a reservation in advance to ensure we would have room. Despite having the entire family present and on time to the reservation, it took us nearly 20 minutes to get seated at a table that was outdoors and extremely cramped. Throughout our dinner, I repeatedly had to move my chair around to let customers and servers through. The table side guacamole we ordered was unseasoned, so I had to ask the server for limes and salt to do it myself. The chips that came with it were stale. For some reason, our drinks came with straws that weren't tall enough for the cup, which rendered them useless. The worst part about the food was the entrées. The fish tacos had a strange off flavor, as if they were cooked in a melting plastic bag. The steak street tacos tasted okay, but arrived at room temperature. It took a very long time for us to leave the restaurant because we had to wait 30 minutes for the chocolate piñatas. I will not come back again.

Yelp
The service is top notch, food quality is amazing. The entire meal was extremely fresh with a generous serving size. The chips and salsa and beverages were regularly refilled through the meal. At first prices seem high but once you taste the food you will see it is still a good value for what you receive.
