Uncle Mike's Homemade Ice Cream

Been eating ice cream here even before 2019 when they won the Best ice cream parlor in PA by USA Today news. Many flavors, all great. Their butter pecan is the best my wife and I have ever tasted, and we test this at every other ice cream place we visit. Keep up the good work Uncle Mike!

First off, I just wanna say that the employees are amazing. They’re all extremely kind and patient with kids. We were greeted warmly and given great recommendations. Everyone here is a sweetheart! The ice cream was unique and Incredibly flavorful. But not having a bathroom completely killed the experience.

The ice cream was great. They offered plenty of different flavors. The staff was pleasant. I didn't know that this place was even here. I was pleasantly surprised. My family and I enjoyed it and we definitely will be going there again. Keep up the great work. I love to support local businesses and you are one that is definitely worth supporting. Thank you 👍😉😎

Really nice ice cream spot with a lot of both original and unique flavors. Stopped by and tried the bourbon vanilla, chocolate candy cane, and the brownie blitz. All of them tasted great and had a nice consistency. Great place to stop for ice cream. Even got some of their homemade ice cream sandwiches to go.

One of my favorite places to get ice cream 🍨 in this summer heat. The portions are always large, and the ice cream is very delicious. The staff is always friendly and smiling. It's a clean place with a great selection of ice cream. We love coming here with the family for ice cream.

So yummy so clean such great service and soon many many many flavors. I loved my raspberry chip and my second lip of sales caramel cashew! Hubby loves cafe mocha and butter pecan. The quality is so high don't miss if you are within 25 miles of Philadelphia (it's in Warminster, north of Philly) well worth the drive..

I had the most amazing Blueberry Cheescake Ice Cream here! It was almost too pretty to eat with yummy and almost lemony bits of cheesecake! Very refreshing. This place was a great way to end a summer family luncheon out and about. The staff was so very and upbeat. I will highly recommend this place to others! So glad I stopped in.

Uncle Mike’s is the greatest ice cream shop of all time. All of the ice cream flavors are delicious and perfectly full of whatever toppings are mixed in. I have had more super sundaes than any human should consume in a lifetime and I don’t think I can stop! My favorite flavors are Salted Caramel Cashew, Peanut Butter Bomb, and Blueberry Cheesecake but I haven’t had a flavor I don’t like! Oh and they make the best cakes and pies too! Staff are super friendly!

Uncle Mike's is not the ice cream shop to go to if you want hip and trendy flavors. You're not going to find something incredibly uncommon or organic and locally sourced flavors here. Those types of scoop shops are delicious in their own right, but Uncle Mike's is the place to go if you're a millennial missing the ice cream shops of our youth. There's no frills here, just a super clean, take out only store, tucked away in a shopping center with rows and rows of ice cream in giant cartons and a list of flavors and toppings on the wall. This might sound like I'm criticizing, but that's not the case at all. What Uncle Mikes skips in atmosphere, they make up for in deliciousness. There's a wide variety of flavors and while nothing is crazy, you're guaranteed to find something you like, whether you like fruit, baked goods, candy flavors, or something more classic. The toppings are exactly what you'd expect from an ice cream place as are the cone options, but they do get extra points for offering pretzel cones, something that seems exceedingly hard to find these days. The menu is your basic milkshakes, sundaes, banana splits and scoops, but what more do you need? The staff is super kind and patient and they offer punch cards where you get a free small cup or cone after 10 punches. It's a great suburban ice cream shop and a throwback to my childhood. I love some fancy ice cream and elaborate shakes/sundaes, but sometimes you just want something fresh and homemade and when that's the case, Uncle Mike's is the perfect spot.

Unsuspecting old school ice cream shop tucked into a shopping center. There's a strict limit on how many people can be inside & absolutely no seating inside. This is a definitely a to-go place! There are a few benches outside the windows. Prices are very reasonable and there's a pretty extensive flavor list. I really appreciated the display of sizes (cups/cones/sprinkles). The banana was okay and I preferred the mint chocolate chip!

If there was a rating of zero, I would choose 0. The ice cream here is not worth the gasoline to drive there. Such a disappointment! We ordered the Vanilla Bourbon and Vanilla chocolate chip. The Vanilla Bourbon tasted like coconut. The Vanilla chocolate chip barely had chocolate chips. The taste of the vanilla was different. I won't waste the time, money or gas driving here again. If you want really good ice cream, try Richman's on County Line Road in Feasterville. It's worth the drive!

If you've ever seen the Seinfeld one with the Soup Navi, the guy who owns this place has to be his brother. He is consistently miserable, borderline hostile. On our most recent visit we arrived shortly before they closed. While we waited in line, a young boy opened the door and screamed at us all to get out. (While we were waiting it turned 9pm) The owner took his position by the door to physically block and scowl at anyone trying to come in to patronize his business. He decided to let one last group in with a girl wearing a Grad outfit. He literally said to his staff,"I'm letting them in to punish you because you left the dishes for me!" You really won't believe it unless you experience it for yourself. I was there and almost don't believe myself. So if you like your ice cream served with toxic bitterness, be sure to check out Uncle Mike's.

I'm gonna get some backlash for this, but I feel this ice cream could rival the Penn State creamery ice cream. Portions are good. Prices are a little steep, but for the place being clean and sanitary it was worth it. Cones were nice and crunchy and not the typical little bit of crunch with somesogginess. My wife said the mint chocolate chip was delicious but not better than Penn State creamery. I got rum raisin and coconut. I felt the coconut was better than Penn State's version of the almond joy. Did not try the bathrooms. And the employee who waited on us was fantastic and friendly, almost to the point where she seemed too friendly/fake. But she seemed like she really enjoyed her job and was very knowledgeable about the ice cream flavors when asked questions.

The ice cream is delicious, the service is kind and patient, the variety is awesome and it was so welcoming when we arrived. I can't wait to stop in again.

We were in line for ice cream until we saw the owner rudly ask an eldery woman who was sitting on a ledge in the shop to leave bc the place was crowded (not that crowded). It was raining outside and the eldery woman was simply eating her ice cream. We will never give this place our business. We could not believe what we witnessed. Shame on them.

Uncle Mike's ice cream is different than others. First of all, the service provided to us was so kind. He gave kids cones and "just in case" cups to use I got to sample all of my 4 kids' cones and cups. All the flavors were so good. I think mine was the best. I got chocolate with chocolate chunks. Delicious, and not exceedingly sweet. I went back inside and told them that the ice cream was so good, that I will be back again! No wonder uncle mike is so highly rated. I think he might have been the guy in the back churning something....

We had a honor society at school last night and brought 32 people for ice cream. The owner could not be any more rude to us. My granddaughter asked if she could sample something and he actually yelled at her that he doesn't have time to do this when it's so crowded. he could've said it nicer. Then he told us when we got her ice cream we had to go outside. I did not get ice cream nor did a few of the parents because we will not give any of our money but the children want the ice cream but that's it one and done

The first time, was in the area and searched for the best ice cream and we are big on mom/pop family businesses. Uncle Mike's delivers on friendly welcoming service, cleanliness, and tastiness. Even though they were out of pistachio which I had on the brain so tasted and ordered the chocolate, caramel with heathbar (I'm not a fan of Carmel nor heathbar, but this was a great mix whereas the creamy texture and blend, masked any one flavor, hence complemented via the tri-mix. Good find. Came back a second time, early too... it's consistent that they out of popular flavors, why not prepare more of those few flavors.

The peanut butter bomb is a must if you like chocolate based peanut butter ice cream. Really creamy ice cream with rich chocolate flavor. Also had the butter pecan, which was good but not a "typical" butter pecan. Reminded me more of butter fingers. Enjoyed it but was a bit different than expected.

I have had better ice cream. Nothing special. I rather get tillamook from the grocery store.

been coming here since it opened and love the ice cream tonight and ordered my usual mint chocolate chip with chocolate sprinkles. the young lady who waited on me gave me half the amount i usually get and put on maybe 15 little sprinkles. i was disappointed and my wife got the same maybe 15 or 20 tiny sprinkles

Our go-to ice cream spot, kids love it! Wonderful variety of flavors and options. In my opinion, the hidden gem is their mini ice cream sandwiches.

Amazing fresh ice cream, I had the peanut butter brownie in a waffle cone and I was very happy with it. Prices are super reasonable, staff was friendly. The bouncer at the front door was super knowledgeable of the flavors and processes.

Went here the other day for the first time after hearing about it in a local community group on Facebook forever! I really enjoyed Uncle Mike's. I especially love that it was open in the winter until 9pm! It made for a great week night spot for my friends to eat some ice cream and catch up. They had 3 people working, one of which was I believe the owner. The staff was all super nice. The place is really clean, relatively small but still an ample amount of seating. The ice cream is all home made which is a huge plus! I got the peanut butter bomb which I believe had Reese's pieces, peanut butter, and maybe peanuts ? In it. It was really good. I got two scoops on a chocolate dipped waffle cone and it was only $6+ which is a great deal considering how much ice cream you got. I'm glad this place is here and I hope it stay open. I definitely want to go back!

Mike offers some traditional ice cream flavors, plus plenty of unique flavors. Pricing is comparable to other quality ice cream parlors. The shop is still setup for Covid, so the only seating area is outside and there is still a shield between customers and staff.

The name says it all. Uncle Mike's Homemade Ice Cream. Tucked away in a small strip center on York Road, just off Street in Warminster, PA, with small blue sign above the store, it is a little hard to find as you drive by. But, I caught sight of a roadside flag as I approached, and was able to pull into the parking lot without problem. The shop is bright white, with limited indoor and outdoor seating. Mike carries about 12 - 15 flavors at any given time. Only hard ice cream. No soft serve. There are a combination of young and older kids working there who are friendly and efficient. I ordered the two scoop medium size cup of butter pecan and peanut butter cookies & cream. They were large scoops and plenty for this lonesome traveler. It became obvious that Unca Mike really did mix his own flavors. Originally, the peanut butter cookies and cream had been two distinct flavors, but he must have been running low on the ingredients for both, and just threw them together to use them up. Necessity being the mother of invention, the result was the best of both worlds. Excellent peanut butter swirl and cookies and cream playing off each other like old friends who don't visit too often. So, in fact, I received 3 flavors within the two scoops. No complaints. They all were richly creamy and bursting with taste. Very good ice cream all around. At $4.50, it was a excellent deal. This Uncle Mike knows from ice cream.

Uncle Mikes plain and simple has some of the best ice cream in the area. We stopped in this evening after dinner for the first time. The shop staff are beyond friendly and they let you sample whatever you would like. The prices are fair and the quality is top notch. It's an easy place to miss tucked away in a small strip mall. My wife went with the peanut butter ripple, our daughter had the chocolate/Nutella and I went with the cookies and cream. All were fantastic! You can't go wrong with any flavor here. They have a large variety from the simple stuff to odd flavors. We will be back! Solid 4 stars!

This was an incredibly disappointing experience. I regret not asking for our money back and will NEVER come back!! The ice cream is far below average. I ended up throwing out my milkshake it was so bad. Not only was the ice cream not good, but the client service was the actual worst I have ever seen. Everyone in the shop was uncomfortable with the way the manager was reacting. I do not support this type of business.

I never write reviews, but I am so appalled by the customer service at Mikes. I was visiting my 90 year old grandmother who wanted to treat me and my family to ice cream and my grandmother was sitting inside eating her ice cream when the owner told us to leave. There were probably 8 people in line getting ice cream and he told us they were too busy and that we needed to leave the shop - having no respect for the elderly and the fact that my 90 year old grandmother needed to sit inside with a seat and where it was warmer. So unbelievably disrespectful, and for honestly very mediocre ice cream. Would not come here or ever go back.

Best ice cream! Award winning, actually. The standard flavors are always available and delicious and the special flavors are amazing. My favorite special flavor is the Bailey Irish Cream, it's to die for, if you like Bailey's!

Ice cream was delicious and the employees were courteous however the owner was grumpy and borderline rude. Maybe I caught him on a bad day but others mentioned it as well. Back to the ice cream - good portions, well priced and clean environment.

Pistachio ice cream is creamy and full of crushed pistachios. Coffee icecream also is great. Good quality and flavor.

Best ice cream in town! Smooth creamy fresh and delicious! There is usually a line, but you never have to wait too long. It moves quick.

Excellent local ice cream parlor. We came in on a particularly busy evening, national ice cream day. The line was out the door so the owner personally stood by the entrance to greet customers and ensure the line moved smoothly. He stated they made an extra 300 gallons of ice cream in preparation for this weekend! Quality work ethic.

Amazing ice cream shop that's delicious! Kept driving by and finally stopped in and was not disappointed

The ice cream tasted ok but nothing special, at least not the flavors I got, which were mint chocolate chip and chocolate velvet. I asked for a waffle cone with both flavors and the employee came over with the cone upside down in a bowl and said she broke it, and asked if that was ok or did I want her to scoop another one. I wanted a cone so she made another one. My cone clearly had less ice cream in it than my boyfriend's and when I asked about that, she said it was the same amount but just looked like less because the chocolate velvet ice cream on the bottom was more watery. It was so soft that it dripped all over the place. They should not have sold that flavor because of the consistency. I would not go out of my way to go back to Uncle Mike's but would maybe try it again if I was close by and in the mood for ice cream.

The best icecream in our own town, so creamyyyyy icecream we love it alot. yummyyyy flavorssss and every flavor is unique.

We just discovered this hidden gem last month and we're in love! The ice cream is delicious and the family-run atmosphere is delightful! I love every flavor I've tried so far, but am a big fan of anything peanut butter! It's a must try.

Was there with my nephews and my 74-year-old mother it was 95° out and he got upset that we stood in his ice cream shop for more than 3 minutes eating our ice cream before we went out in the hot sun and he asked us to leave after we just spent $28 on couple ice cream cones and a couple ice cream cups I'll spend your money now please leave hurry up get out thank you

Worst ice cream I have ever had! Mcdonalds ice cream has more flavor! Service was horrendous and very poor. Rude staff and management did NOT care! STAY AWAY!

Last night was my 1st trip to Uncle Mike's. Tonight my 2nd! Large hot fudge sundae, Wet walnuts, Oreo cookie pieces! Yes, you get 3 Toppings! It was YUMMY! Tonight they run out of hot fudge, Little disappointing. But I have hot fudge home. I also got a butter pecan cone tonight. One of the best I ever had. Definitely quality! I'm just down the street. This will be my new hangout!!! Super sweet young staff!!!
