Ordered on uber eats but it’s sandwiches so I figure full assessment. This place sucks like enough to just take off the meat and put it all on the off flavor ceasar salad. Dry and no mayo. I shoulda known if Pete Davidson (who loves this place and also weighs as much as a labradoodle) is a fan of this place it must be mid. It was indeed mid. Jersey mikes>>>

We celebrated Thanksgiving here because our resort casino's first come first served buffet had a line three blocks long. Eat Your Heart Out food hall at the Durango Resort & Casino is open 24 hours, with several, slightly higher-end options to choose from, so it's like a buffet without the crowds or the secondhand smoke, or the labyrinthian commute from the Strip to the resort's self-park garage through endless rows of casino & shops. Way better deal. I fell in love with the Italian hoagie (I'm from N.J.) & it didn't disappoint. It's chock-full of meat, lettuce & other hoagie goodness, enhanced simply with oil and vinegar. My husband was delighted to find they have all-day breakfast sandwiches, including a juicy BEC, an East Coast favorite -- bacon, egg & cheese on a soft Kaiser roll.

Uncle Paulie’s has opened its doors inside the Durango casino. Uncle Paulie's tries to replicate the east coast Italian sandwich shop experience and succeeds. You'll find all your favorites here. It’s authentic flavor is traditional and absolutely delicious. Uncle Paulie's lives up to their slogan "Always a pleasure" the food was delicious and the hardest thing was deciding which delicious sandwich to choose from on their large menu. Super high quality bread and ingredients. The menu is amazing, I want to try every single one. We have had: Italian sandwich and chicken pesto sandwich. Highly recommended!!! Staff are wonderful. Very nice and attentive.

Stopped at Durango on the way to the airport and grabbed a bite at Uncle Pauline’s. The atmosphere is comfortable and service was fast and friendly. Got the special which included a Pastrami and Swiss, a bag of chips and a beverage, the price was appropriate. The meat was lean and the baguette was soft, all in all delicious.

Google
pretty bad sandwich, at pretty good sandwich prices. would avoid. basically no flavour, said it had balsamic vinegar but hardly any in there, no flavour to ingredients.

Google
Went in today and had the "Tony Clifton". The sub was ok. I definitely wouldn't get that again. It's a very dry sandwich. No sauce or mayo or anything like that except balsamic vinegar. I liked the atmosphere, the service, the friendly staff, but not my sandwich. I AM however willing to go back and try something else.

Google
Employee is engrossed on her phone. Took her 5 minutes to acknowledge us at the register. We ordered a single grilled cheese sandwich. It took 15 minutes to make it (we were the only customers) and when we got the sandwich, the cheese was cold in the middle of it. The only saving grace was that the bread was decent.

Google
I got the italian. It was ok but too dry, it needed mayo or more oil and vinegar. Also it was underseasoned. They need to add salt and pepper and spices

Yelp
It's a nice place to eat at. They're inside Durango Casino. not busy when we came In morning time. Food is good. ambiance is also good.

Yelp
Above average deli food. Smoked turkey was good. The tuna was fancy with a red wine type vinegar used. Service good ambience food court vibes setting

Yelp
Stopped by Uncle Paulie's for a quick bite and grabbed a BLT with fries and a drink. After tip, it came out to about $25. The good: The fries are delicious--crispy, well-seasoned, and definitely a highlight. The sandwich itself is tasty, with soft sourdough that has crisp edges from a light toasting. The not-so-good: The bacon ratio is disappointing. For the price, I expected a heartier portion, but what I got was around 6-9 small strips, similar to those Hormel ready-to-eat microwave bacon pieces. While the flavor was fine, it needed at least double the amount to feel substantial. I get that it's in a casino, but adding even 10 more strips would've made it feel worth the cost. Overall, it's a solid spot, but if you're ordering any sandwich, pay the upcharge if any for extra meat.

Yelp
The lunch sandwiches here are fine. I had the tuna sandwich on sourdough with onions. The sandwich was large and the tuna tasted fresh. The sandwich bread itself was a little too soft for me. I like my bread a bit more crunchy. It is located in the busy Durango food court. During lunch time, it can be a crowded and loud atmosphere. Again, for lunch, this place is fine. Uncle Paulie's certainly beats Subway sandwiches.

Yelp
I was extremely hyped to try this place. The chicken parm was about $18 and the chicken was dry and super thin (I know cutlets are the way it's supposed to be) but I mean paper thin is wild how you even do that . Didn't have enough sauce on the sandwhich but it was all over the wrapper. Could've used more cheese, $18 for that is wild if it was cheaper I wouldn't even complain. The BLT was good according to my mate but also not worth the price tag. All said n done I'll try it again , the service was good though super quick and polite

Yelp
Diane and I met friends to eat in the Durango Casino's food hall. We split up to select individual choices for dinner. Diane opted for a plain Just For You B0urger from Irv's Burgers. She liked the slice of melted American Cheese on top of the quarter-pound burger, and the Sesame Seed Bun, but was dissatisfied with the well done beef patty inside. I, on the other hand, fully enjoyed my foot-long The Lester Diamond pastrami sandwich with just enough yellow mustard slicked on the interior folds of the baguette, and pieces of pickle to join with the lean pastrami nestled inside. My order of French Fries mixed with Gravy and topped by Melted Mozzarella Cheese was an ideal accompaniment that I could barely finish in one sitting. The food I consumed was excellent, but it was rather inconvenient to get situated at a table and then return to the cash register after underestimating how long it might take to fulfill the order. And, rather than purchase a can of diet soda at Uncle Paulie's, I went to the bar and obtained a Diet Pepsi in a plastic cup. I expected to pay for this drink but the bartendress would only accept a cash tip. I need to return soon to Durango Casino's food hall to sample one or two of Uncle Paulie's cold subs that beckon, and totally different food offerings from other vendors. There is much territory left to explore here.

Yelp
Part of the popular 'Eat Your Heart Out' food hall in the Durango Casino and Resort in Las Vegas, Uncle Paulie's is the 4th location of a NY-style deli originally started in LA. I've not had the opportunity to try their sandwiches yet, so was glad to order a classic Italian ($19) for our sampling lunch on a Friday afternoon. The food hall does not support a pager or messaging system, so you basically have to wait around the vendor to get your food. In our case, we had other things to order and came back to Uncle Paulie's 15 minutes later. It seemed like they had staffing issues: the food hadn't been started yet. When this was realized, the manager/cashier stopped what he was doing to focus on making the sandwich (which still took a bit of time since the meat and cheese had to be hand sliced). The sandwich was beautifully and tightly wrapped in butcher paper and had plenty of heft. I was disappointed when I ate the sandwich. Positives: very thinly sliced meat and cheeses, piled generously. Very finely (almost shaved) iceburg lettuce. Use of pickled roasted peppers. Cons: the bread, it reminds me of what you get at a grocery store, hefty, pretty tasteless, would be fine for a hamburger but not for a cold cut sub. It's hard to describe how I like my bread for a sub, but have decided that if I would eat multiple servings of it with room temperature European butter as part of a bread basket, I would love it as a base for a sub. But this tasted more like sesame white bread or bun that you would pick up from the grocery store. The sandwich as a whole was also very dry...could have used more dressing. I ended up eating about a fourth of the sandwich, and saved the rest for later. I did end up eating the rest at home, almost 3 days later, and was able to dress it up to my tastes using mayo, red wine vinegar and the removal of the underside bread (which had gotten pretty slimy from the wet lettuce and peppers). It tasted pretty good, and confirmed that quality meats and cheeses were used.

Yelp
My husband and I decided to try Uncle Paulie's for dinner. Unlike the first week of Grand Opening, there was no wait/line to order our food. We decided to get their Italian sandwich to share. Their Italian sandwich is good and they provide a good amount of filling. However, their bread was way too thick/dense. We found ourselves tasting more of the bread than the filling at some points in our meal. I think as far as sandwiches go, it was OK. However, when I think about the price of their sandwich and the options we have in the valley, I'm not sure if they would be one of our top choices. Not a bad option if you have dining credits though!

Yelp
We ordered the Carmine which is Roast Beef, Mozzarella & Brown Gravy on Garlic Bread. It was delicious and will definitely be back to try the other sandwiches.

Yelp
I walked around Eat Your Heart Out the food hall in Durango Station looking for lunch options. I got a nice table between the two establishments that my husband and I chose. It was very clean and bright. I decided on Uncle Paulie's because they had gluten free bread. I was so excited to be able to order The Ace which is pastrami with swiss and slaw. Steven was working the counter and was super nice. Unfortunately it was the worst pastrami sandwich I've ever had. I understand the sandwich will be a little more dry than normal because of the gluten free bread but the entire sandwich was so dry that I couldn't eat it.

Yelp
Came on a Wednesday around 3pm. We were able to order right away and the sub came out very quickly, I want to say around 5-8 mins, Ordered the Lester diamond (pastrami, pickles, Swiss , yellow mustard on a baguette) $15 and it was delicious. The warm and toasty baguette took it to another level. Macaroni salad was dry and more on the flavorless side, def not worth $5. Cashier was very friendly and the ambiance was spacious and clean. Everything was great but I gave 4 stars bc it's a bit overpriced ($15-19).

Yelp
I was craving a chicken parm sandwich so I dropped by. The person that took my order was very nice. The food was a disappointment. When I think of chicken parm, I picture soft Italian bread (preferably with sesame seeds!). This sandwich came on a thin, crusty roll, but it was OK. The cutlets were rubbery and flavorless. There was cheese present, but it was the same texture as the chicken. They kind of melded into one entity. No cheese pull or chew. The sauce was barely detectable. It was like eating a wet paper towel. Would not eat again.

Yelp
In trying the different offerings in the food court (hall) at Durango Station, I went to Uncle Paulie's for a sandwich. I stopped at the order counter and took a look at the many choices, both hot and cold. After a short time, I decided on the Downtown Turkey. I also asked for an iced tea. Paying on Wednesday with points--1/2 off when using points (My Generation program). Because this was a self comp I had to sign the slip. The counter person asked for a name and she said I'd be called when the sandwich was ready. Although there are a few seats at the counter, I sat at one of the tables in the food hall area. The iced tea was given to me when I ordered because their drinks are bottled with the Uncle Paulie's name on them. In about 5 minutes, my name was called and I got the sandwich from the counter. Wrapped nicely, the Downtown Turkey is a sub with lots of sliced turkey, sliced provolone cheese, roasted red peppers, shredded iceberg lettuce, and topped with an onion and red wine vinaigrette. It was a sesame seed roll. The sandwich was good tasting and there was a lot of turkey. I guess I missed tomato I usually get with my subs but it was OK. The iced tea was unsweetened which was good. The counter person was quite pleasant. Service was quick. I saw someone using a meat slicer, and I'm guessing they were slicing the turkey for the sandwich. They are a bit pricey and I can get the same at other sandwich places at a cheaper price. It was good to have the 1/2 off perk. Paulie's is not a place I'd go to as a destination but I might eat there again if I were at Durango.

Yelp
Inside Durango Casino in the food court. You order at the counter and wait for them to call your name to grab your order. We had the daily special sandwich and it was very good. The sandwich had a lot of flavors and we enjoyed the potato salad we selected. The food court had plenty of of sitting areas indoor and out.

Yelp
Give credit to the Marketing team promoting Uncle Paulie's in Las Vegas. The hype pulled me in once again! February 2024 I ventured into Durango super pumped to experience the famous Uncle Paulie's. Clean and efficient this Cali based sandwich shop first opened in 2017 on Beverly Blvd. I ordered the Italian: Italian Cold Cuts, Provolone, Roasted Red Peppers, Iceberg, Onion & Red Wine Vinaigrette. Price $16.00 + 1.50 (to make it spicy) Damn hype got me again. In my humble opinion this sando left me sadly underwhelmed. I'll opt to try a new spot on my next sandwich hankering.

Raffi R.

Yelp
Love this place Best chicken parm sandwich in town. Come here at least once a week. All of our employees come here

Yelp
$16+ sandwich worth it? It was cool to try it but wouldn't get it again. A bunch of us tried the Tony Clifton, The Carol, and The Caprese sandwiches. We all agreed it was "ok" but once you add in tip and taxes it's a $20 sandwich each. We didn't feel comfortable paying again for what it tasted like and what we got. Definitely disappointed, but glad we got to try it out. Anthony provided excellent customer service no issues at all. Since it's kind of like a food court, you have to find tables all around so the ambience was still clean a great experience..

Yelp
Bomb sandwich! Ordered here for pick up and I got the OG which is roast beef and turkey lettuce tomato I added yellow peppers and pickles to it. The sandwich was so big I only ate half of it. But it was so delicious. Full of flavor, every bite. It was quick and easy. I just scrolled up to the front and picked up my order and walked right out. It's inside of one of the Newer casinos for the locals. There's a food hall with multiple spots all in one place. Enjoyed it
google avatar

Anthony H.

Yelp
It's OK at best I wouldn't go out of my way to come here and get it again. It was just average. I didn't like the fact that substituting red peppers for yellow peppers was an extra dollar charge it seems like it should be an even swap. Nothing really stands out that would make me wanna come back for more and honestly if I was here I would probably try something different from one of the other restaurants just being honest. They don't even give the employees a free sandwich on their lunch break that's lame. Take care of your staff.
google avatar

Yelp
My husband ordered the Chicken Parm Sandwich and enjoyed it. I ordered The Caprese and I thought it was alright. I did enjoy the fresh arugula and balsamic. They were a little stingy with the amount of tomato on the sub... I mean that's a main ingredient lol.
google avatar

Sarin P.

Yelp
We enjoyed some fresh and tasty sandwiches here. I opted for the Cousin Bobby and my partner enjoyed the Pastrami. Each sandwich is certainly big enough to share or to save for a meal later on. The Cousin Bobby had very fresh meats in it, the prosciutto definitely stood out. I did feel it was a tad bit dry and could have benefited from some pickles. I took a bite out of the pastrami and it was really good. I really like the sesame buns, but I would hope they have an alternative for those with allergies. Overall, it was enjoyable and easy to place an order. Our food was ready in a reasonable time. I would just point out that it is rather expensive. We paid around $40 for two sandwiches and a side of potato salad.

Yelp
As an avid foodie, I was disappointed. Not just for the higher prices, but also for the small portions and lack of quality and subpar service. Granted this was at breakfast on a Monday and many places were closed, but by observing the restaurants here, you can go to higher quality local spots just a few mins away. Today we ate at Irv's Burgers and Uncle Paulies. This food hall is large and has lots of room. Uncle Paulies: Overpriced and overrated. I liked the poppy seed bagel on the Bacon Egg & Cheese Sandwich, however the BLT on Sourdough was average. The service was average. Sorry to say this, but the "Eat Your Heart Out" food hall in Durango Hotel is overrated & is all hype. Unfortunately we won't return to try the other restaurants in this food hall.
google avatar

Lisa H.

Yelp
We ordered a BLT & 3 bacon egg & cheese sandwiches. The counter person was very friendly and even brought our order to us at the table when it was ready. Everything was good however the bacon could have been cooked a tad bit longer & the blt could have used more of it.
google avatar

Laura A.

Yelp
Uncle Paulie's is a casual sandwich shop in the Durango Casino-Hotel. My one star is ONLY FOR THE PASTRAMI SANDWICH. Nobody that is originally from the east coast will like this sandwich. The bread is west coast style. Neither of us thought the meat was anything like pastrami. It was thin and weird with crunchy ends. I wouldn't recommend the pastrami.
google avatar

Ken M.

Yelp
Vegan options at Durango have been few and far between, so I'm glad this place has stepped up. Vegan Italian sandwich is very good. I like that the Potato Salad didn't have a lot of mayo. The counter seating is a convenient place to eat, while being able to look out into the casino, and to look outside. Service was friendly and attentive.
google avatar

Yelp
This one's a bit tough to write as Uncle Paulie's is EXACTLY what I was hoping to see in town-- an East Coast themed sub place (albeit, originally from LA) that ISN'T Jersey Mikes . Located in the new Durango Station's Eat Your Heart Out food hall, it's in the center of the hall and hard to miss. In terms of meat quality, and as you can see from my photos, you definitely get a generous amount of high quality meat on the sandwich. As for the bread, it's absolutely perfect with the soft sesame seeded rolls that are excellent with the sub. Off to a great start, for sure! That said, I spent $22 for the sandwich (with a can of diet pepsi) and well, that's kind of rough for a sub. Plus, if I'm spending that, it needs to be absolutely mouth watering delicious and while all of the essential components were there for a fantastic sandwich, the sub felt a little bit, dare I say, bland? I think what the sub seemed to be missing was mayo/mustard/dressing, etc and in absence of that, it was just a bit too dry tasting for my liking. There was ostensibly red wine vinaigrette to my understanding but couldn't really taste it. Also, in my mind, an Italian Cold Cut sandwich should be the defining sandwich at a sub shop. They are so close to magic here, but just not quite sticking the landing as yet. That said, service was phenomenal, the counter staff couldn't have been nicer and there was little to no wait. --- which is a double edged sword I guess. This restaurant seemed to be a bit less traveled than the other food options and so while it's certainly convenient for those that don't want to wait in a long line, as you would for Prince St. Pizza but at the same time, that's probably not great for the management at Paulies. All that said, this shop has the bones to be something wonderful, but it definitely needs to drop costs by maybe 10% and perhaps add a bit more condiments to the sandwich, or at least be super clear about what can be added in addition to what they put on as standard so folks can customize as needed.
google avatar

Lyn S.

Yelp
As far as sandwich shops go, this is a solid lunch option. I had the chicken Parm sandwich. The bread was perfect; the chicken perfectly breaded- the sauce was tasty ( but could have used more), and the cheese was beautifully melted. But it was too much-- really. How about a half sandwich option? Even at 3/4 of the price, I would have been happier not wasting it, or conversely, eating it till I was in a good coma. Just a thought.

Yelp
This review is based on my experience (first and only) on 4/19/24. - Service: It was fine. I felt kind of bad because my husband and I took awhile mulling over what to order (I'm generally pretty decisive), but we were there pretty early for dinner (around 5) and were the only people ordering at the time. Since we were the only ones there, I would have loved it had the staff offered to help us decide on what to order. I certainly didn't expect it, but I really appreciate it when I'm checking out a new food spot for the first time and staff tells me - "Do you like [fill in the blank]? Then I think you would love our [dish that has the thing in it]." Anyway, we placed our order and wandered around the food hall while we waited for our sandwich to be ready. - Food: I LOVE sandwiches, and it had been awhile since I had last eaten bread, so I was very excited to try their Meatball Parm after we finally made a decision. It was a solid sandwich, but nothing special. I guess I was hoping to be a little more impressed. I wavered between providing a 3 or 4 star rating and erred on the higher side for now. I do intend to come back and try one of their pastrami sandwiches and maybe update my review after I have a few more data points. ;)

Yelp
Not worth it. Went there early in the morning to try their pastrami sandwich which we have wanted to try for a while, the ambience was nice and quiet, the sandwiches themselves were good but way overpriced for the size of them , we paid over $40 dollars for two basic pastrami sandwiches , service was bad they just handed us the sandwiches in our hand no tray or plate just the sandwiches in aluminum foil, not to mention the guy that was the cashier looked like he didn't wanted to be there at all almost if he was doing us a favor , overall not what I was expecting good sandwiches but definitely not going back or would recommend.

Yelp
This place was pretty good! First off i loved the service. I wish I would have got the guys name but he was very nice. We had the beef and peppers and the pastrami, both was good but the beef was the winner! It was so tasty, good amount of meat. The bread was soo!!!! Good. The place was clean and we will definitely be going back to try out some of the other sandwiches.
google avatar

Yelp
Thankful that when we went it was not busy cause we were super hungry lol I'd say we went around 11am-12pm on a Wednesday. Food was ready pretty quick, and it was delicious. Because it's located in Durango's little food court, it is what it is.. nothing fancy, but glad it was clean.

Yelp
We went and tried a few spots in The Durango food court. We decided to try a hot sandwich and were pretty impressed. The shop is cute and clean and the service was great. We got the Paulie's Beef & Pep. It was made fresh and was super flavorful . The bread was super fresh as well. The sandwich was a good size and pretty filling for the price. I love a good sandwich and will for sure try Uncle Paulie's again.

Yelp
Pastrami was tasty fresh and warm ! Owner brings in Pastrami from LA . Great sandwich almost a 5 star but hard to beat NY Nice open bright seating, clean, fresh, tasty mustard.

Yelp
Uncle Paulie's is the second spot I tried on a crawl of the new Durango casino food hall - note that they have a breakfast menu, but we were able to order lunch sandwiches earlier in the day. The menu is large, with hot and cold sandwiches, made with a variety of deli meats - most of the sandwiches are named after people, and customizations are welcome. They also have vegan options! I ordered the Carol (chicken cutlets, fresh mozz, broccoli rabe, red peppers, EVOO and balsamic glaze), and added pesto at a friend's suggestion - the sandwich was about $17 with tax, served halved for easy sharing. The portion is large, for those who say prices are high, and I was happy to see that the protein portion was ample - the chicken cutlets overlapped in places, rather than being skimpy as elsewhere. The sandwich was fresh and tasty, and my husband also enjoyed my leftovers later in the day. Service was fast and they have a bar along the side for seating. I am a sucker for a good sandwich and will likely come back to try more on another visit!

Yelp
Great service from Alejandra. The food is great. I definitely recommend. The Durango station is a cool new spot.
google avatar

Manuel V.

Yelp
Worst sandwich I've ever had. This food is way overpriced! The best tasting thing here is the bag of chips and water. I had no expectations coming here, and still, they managed to disappoint. The service is ok. The folks in the back are working hard. The vibe is like any other casino, so there's nothing much there. Spend your money elsewhere
google avatar

Koryn G.

Yelp
Delicious sandwiches! I ordered the Joey sandwich after getting a recommendation from Lindsay (@thelasvegasfoodie) on IG. It tasted great. They didn't have a lot of options for drinks so I just opted for their lemonade. It was super busy and we waited in line for about 15 minutes cause it was around lunchtime. The service was alright but you could definitely feel the pressure weighing on the staff with how many customers there were. There's plenty of seating but it does fill up quick so I would recommend having someone wait in line while someone grabs a table or booth if it's during a busy time.
google avatar

Stephanie B.

Yelp
The sandwiches we ordered were easily customizable which we appreciated. A little small I think. The strawberry lemonade was super sweet. The service was a little slow and just seemed like there was a lack of urgency. The location itself is clean and bright.

Brittanie K.

Yelp
Took a trip to the new Durango Casino last night ! It was a Tuesday night and it was busy ! We explored the eat your heart out food hall and came across Uncle Paulies. I ordered the Carly and my husband ordered the Chicken parm sub ! They were phenomenal and good in size . The cost was around 17 ish each for sandwiches. This place had the shortest line but it's probably because they were moving the quickest in terms of getting the food to the customer. Paulie's is located in the center of the food hall ! It's only 3 weeks old so the area is very clean. Grab a friend and have them hold down a table in the food hall area as it was tricky to get a table to sit down and eat. We will definitely be coming back to try the rest of the subs
google avatar

Dru Z.

Yelp
I tried the Italian sub today at the newly opened location inside the food hall of the Durango casino and I'm a fan. I always try the Italian whenever I come across a sandwich shop that offers it, and Uncle Paulie's gets a thumbs up from me. The sub contained plenty of cold cuts, combined with the shredded iceberg lettuce and just a enough of the red wine vinegar to give it a slight tang. $16 for the sub is about right for the size of the sandwich and that it's located inside an upscale casino in Vegas. I'll be back to try another subs on the menu.
google avatar

Patil K.

Yelp
Brand new sandwich shop at the newly opened Durango casino! It's an OK place for a more affordable option at the food hall. This is a "butcher" style sandwich shop. The line was long but went by quick - I did appreciate the girl at the counter saying the wait time prior to ordering (which at the time was 25 min). The menu items are pretty standard and expected with unique names to each sandwich. You order at the counter pay and they tell your name in a very crowded food hall so it could be hard to hear - checked in about twice since I was sitting further away - my food took about 20 min to get which was under the time I was quoted! The service while ordering was nothing special the lady at the counter seemed very distracted while taking my order and kept looking around and talking to her other coworkers which is understandable as they were busy but she was incredibly distracted and it wasn't too pleasant. Be mindful as they don't have any soda options but they do have delicious strawberry lemonade! I ordered the Italian and the Paulie - both cold cut sandwiches. The Italian sandwich was much better than the Paulie. In short, the bread was soft and fresh but the sandwich lacked that kick of flavor. A suggestion would be to add oil, vinaigrette and mayo to the Italian for some juice. The Paulie was very dry and I didn't not taste the vinaigrette - there was a generous amount of meat in both sandwiches which was a plus. The downside, you can't choose your own bread and there is only 1 size for the sandwich ordered. Overall I feel that the cold sandwiches can be made at home so I don't think it's anything special but a decent affordable option. My review is as follows: - Food: 3/5 - Service: 2.5/5 - Ambiance: 4/5

Yelp
Solid eggplant parm sandwich. Bread was perfect and the sandwich was hot. I was full off 3/4 the sandwich. Would have liked a bit more sauce but they gave a good portion of eggplant. Glad they had thin slices. Sometimes places cut the slices so big its too much eggplant. Sandwich came quick but it also wasn't very busy.

Yelp
As I frequent The Durango hotel and casino more often, they have been providing me with food credits to be used at the eateries on property. Uncle Paulie's is a place a few friends had recommended recently. Had to try it to see what their excitement was about. Uncle Paulie's sits in the quick eats area in the food court. An assortment of fresh sandwiches to choose from, with breakfast served ALL DAY! The sandwiches are made to order, ensuring it's fresh and delicious. I went with The Ace (pastrami with pickled cabbage and cheese on a warm baguette. Man, this was one of the best tasting sandwiches I've had in a while. It didn't feel heavy or messy. Every bite was just as good as the last. I got here on a slower part of the day. Normally there is a line for Uncle Paulie's sandwiches. With quite a list of sandwiches to choose from, I'll be back to try more. But I know I definitely have an Ace up my sleeve for future reference.

Yelp
Was excited to give Paulie's a try, unfortunately it didn't hold up to the hype. I ordered the Italian sandwich. The bread was too cold which made it extremely dense. The sandwich was too dry (especially given how dense the bread was), it absolutely needed some mayo or Italian dressing. Overall it was simply too bland and the most important part of any sandwich is the bread and it was a huge fail.

Yelp
How underwhelming Uncle Paulie's was..... my wife and I were at IKEA and decided to head over to the Durango Station and try the Food Hall. We looked at Irv's Burgers and Uncle Paulie's Sandwiches. We decided we would give Paulie's a try. Let me tell you this, as a sandwich lover this was by far the most flavorless and dry Italian sub I've had. It had all the fixings that make Italian subs good but the flavor was just not there. They need to do something about their bread as it's far too thick and EXTREMELY dry, my wife got the Paulie and she seconds these comments. Considering that we paid $41 for two sandwiches, a canned soda and a cookie it's safe to say that we will not be trying Uncle Paulie's again.

Yelp
The food at this place sucks! Their bread is very thick and dry. It reminds me of pre made sandwiches at the grocery store. I asked them to change the bread to their sourdough which was much better. The sad thing is... the flavor of the sandwiches are good. The meats are moist and the creativity is there. The guys were very nice.Get better bread!!! For me it ruined the experience. The sourdough is good but with the sandwich I ordered the flavors clashed.

Yelp
Blah.....is the first thing that comes to mind. It was the shortest line in the new food court area at the Durango hotel and casino. I got a BLT only, they were sold out of potato salad. The sandwich was just ok, with not much bacon. Nothing special, at all. The sandwich was $14 and $4 for avocado. This sandwich should have been $8 and $2 for avocado. It was extremely underwhelming and over priced. I'll be shocked if they are in business at Durango in a year from now.
