We are so happy we chose Uncle Willie’s Pies for our wedding! The desserts were a HIT. The booking process was so easy and Cece provided a quote quickly and in detail. They arrived on time and set up the desserts beautifully. Everyone loved and talked about how delicious it all was. My coordinator also complimented how easy they were to work with, and that the staff was extremely polite. 10/10 recommend. Thank you! 🥰

Uncle Willie’s Pies brought our dessert table for our wedding to life and we could not have been happier with the results! All of the desserts look great and taste even better! We knew from the get go, that we didn't want a traditional wedding cake for our dessert. We wanted something more fun, and different! Cue Uncle Willie's! They gave us such an array of desserts and flavors and they were all absolutely delicious. From the key lime pie and banana pudding shooters, to the red velvet cheesecake... it was all soooooo good! They were great at communicating, working within our budget, and getting the desserts there on time and providing plenty for our guests. They even made us a separate to go box so we were sure to have some! Thank you so much!

Uncle Willie's Pies catered our Halloween Wedding, and we couldn't have been happier with how it turned out! They went above and beyond, serving not only a delicious dinner, but a wonderful build-your-own cheesecake and s'mores bar, not to mention the cocktails.

What is not to like about Uncles Willie's Pies? My husband and I hired Uncle Willie's for our wedding and from the get go we knew we had made the right bakery choice. Cici accommodated our request of mailing us a tasting box since we do not live in the area and it came quickly in the mail with everything we asked for. All the desserts were so good we had a tough timing picking the ones we wanted. We ended up going with three pies and three different cupcakes for our event. All the desserts were a hit as well as the complete set up of our dessert table. Cici worked with all of our other vendors including our florist to make sure the flow of the designs went with all our other decorations. I highly recommend Uncle Willie's Pies for any event you have coming up!

Cece was SO accommodating with all of my wants and even made a special flavor pie for the bride and groom pie. The guests loved having their own personal pies and raved about the key lime pie. However, the apple pie was not cooked all the way through on the crust. Will be ordering key lime pie again!

These pies are amazing! We ordered 4 dozen mini pies for our wedding and loved it! The coconut cream and red velvet are to die for! The price is great and I will definitely be ordering pies from them in the future. I'm still drooling :)

If there was a way to give more stars I would!! CeCe was the sweetest person to work with and knew just what we wanted! The cake we ordered for my daughters wedding was decorated beautifully and literately the BEST cake we've ever tasted! Everyone had to stop what they were doing and savor the flavor of the cake. The pies were awesome as well! Everyone loved the pies and wanted to know where they came from, People were literately sneaking pies home in their purses! We were running a little late getting to the venue and I was worried about the setup the for the food and pies, but CeCe set up the cake and pies so beautifully no one could've done a better job! I would recommend her desserts for any and all occasions and her services are topnotch!!!

Great pies. I got 8 slices on my first visit, 1 pecan, 1 sweet potato, 2 apple, 2 coconut cream, and 2 lemon chess. I have no complains on ANY of them and huge kudos on the sweet potato pie. That was a good as my momma made and she made the best. All of these pies tasted exceptional and fresh. I would have no objection to using them for any event. They have an extensive list of items you can order for events or personal occasions including weddings. Great pies here and yeah, I like pie!

This family-owned and operating shop is my favorite dessert spot in the DFW!!! Friendly, efficient service and consistent deliciousness. I purchased a family-size peach cobbler during Thanksgiving and was able to simply make the purchase online, schedule a date and time to come pick up the order and had it brought out to my car! It was a major hit at Thanksgiving!

I ordered a Pecan Pie from here around Thanksgiving. The staff was very professional when I placed my order and when I picked it up. This was my first time ordering from them. The pecan pie was delicious. The pie had a lot of pecans in it. I'm definitely ordering from them again.

2.5-3 Stars. I saw their deal on LivingSocial, but I didn't purchase it because I didn't need that much sweets. Instead, I went to their website and saw that they were going to be at GP's Farmers Market on Saturday, so I decided to find them there. Everything they had were super affordable. I got an individual size red velvet round cake (it looks like it can serve 2 people really), and 2 strawberry cupcakes. Red velvet: tasted really grainy from the actual cake to the cream cheese frosting. I don't know what went wrong. It was a definite disappointment. I took 2 bites and just threw it out. Strawberry cupcakes: 2 came in one order. They were pretty good. Nice density, and good cake to frosting ratio. I took a couple of bites and put it back in the fridge. I got it out of the fridge the next day, and it was hard like you can tell they used a lot of butter. I had to wait for it to get to room temperature before I can eat it. And even then I couldn't eat it because my mom ate the rest. Haha...

So I have been going back for about two months now and I have been VERY happy. The chocolate cake is to DIE for. It literally tastes like a brownie, it is so fudgy!....Uncle Willie is still not that friendly but hey! The cake is so good I dont care! Lol

So I've never been to this establishment but the company that I work for has ordered from this place dozens of times. And all I have to say is these pies are absolutely fantastic I haven't had one I didn't like. I've had pies I've never even had before like they're red velvet chess pie is absolutely incredible and my two favorites are definitely the key lime pie and the coconut cream pie. Perfect amount of sweetness but not overly sweet. Great graham cracker crust and the feeling is to die for! Every time I company orders from Uncle Willie, I'm always sure to try each and every flavor that they bring and I haven't been disappointed yet!

It was wonderful working with Uncle Willie's Pies for the dessert bar for my daughters wedding. We had the traditional cake, grooms cake and her miniature pies in the varieties we taste tested and their delicious banana pudding. They were very professional at the tasting and setting up before the wedding. Most of all they were on time.. Oh... and their pies are delicious! I will be buying pies from the for all my holiday events forever!

I just walked out of the shop, got in my car and tried the lemon pie. Good grief, that crust makes me wanna slap my mama and the pie is to die for. Cece helped me -- she was so, so great! She made sure I got fresh pies and had plenty of information and suggestions to share. If my first bite tells me anything about the rest of the pies; I'm going to be a long time customer. DELICIOUS!

I order pies to give as gifts and they are always a hit. I love the fresh fruit pies. Their crust is butter heaven.

I've been here at least four times after I found the special on Groupon. It was time to leave a review instead of a tip, especially since it's become one of my favorite places. On my first visit I ordered the strawberry cheesecake, and it was really good. I've only had cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory for years, so I was hoping it would be good. It wasn't covered in icing and really sweet, I actually tasted the cake. It was homemade, fresh, and I tasted cinnamon in it. On my second visit I ordered the Italian crème cake and the apple pie made with splenda for my Dad. The cake was so big we had to take it out of the box to cut it. I'm not sure how many layers it was, but it filled the box. It took about two days for us to eat all of it, a really moist cake. I didn't try the splenda pie it was for my Dad, he said it was really good and you couldn't taste the splenda. On my third visit I tried the red velvet cake, it was big and many layers similar to the Italian crème cake. I was told to let it thaw in the refrigerator because it was frozen, it turned out to be a good cake. It was surprising how reasonable it was because most of these cakes are really expensive. On my fourth visit I ordered the peach cobbler and a cherry pie made with splenda. I should have ordered the small peach cobbler, because the large was so big. One of the best peach cobbler's I've tasted: full of crust, fresh peaches, too bad I didn't have some ice cream. They also have a great staff here, every visit they've been really friendly and will answer any questions you have patiently. With or without a Groupon I'll be back, since the prices are reasonable anyway.

I bought a piece of the Chess pie, while at Bayou Cat in Arlington. That was the BEST dam piece of chess pie that I've ever had.

This past week was our second time to purchase Uncle Willie's Pecan Pie. We purchased both times using a Groupon. First Pecan Pie was fantastic. They used small sweet pecans called Majors. This was the very best pecan pie my husband said. For Christmas this year he asked me to order another one. Now here's the problem. We had several guest this year for Christmas dinner, and when deserts were set out he started bragging about how fantastic this pecan pie was. Well, not so fantastic. The pecans tasted like they had been in the freezer for months, the pie tasted terrible. No one finished their piece. Uncle Willie's had not used the same small sweet major pecans they had used the first time. Husband said NO more pies from Uncle Willie's.

I can say that I did like Uncle Willies Pies, well at least the foods themselves. The reception I got I'm much less enthusiastic about. I'm a extroverted person and I feed off interaction with others, but Uncle Willie wasn't havin it. I asked which ones sold better or was his favorite and instead of an honest unbiased response, I got the generic "we sell a lot of everything" and of course who could forget the standard "everything's good here". So as I get home, I'm like, man these better be some good pies since "everything is good here". I must say that my taste buds were quite happy with the outcome. I bought Sock it to me cake, peach cobbler, buttermilk pie, and signature sweet potato cake. The sock it to me tasted a little old (maybe 1 day), I could just be picky, but it was still good and the buttermilk pie was pretty decent. The other two were very good. All in all, I shall be back because the have a cake on there website (in the background) that looks like it has some real potential. And if it's anything like the sample I bought today, then I shouldn't be disappointed. Check them out. PS: Their in a small room so keep that in mind if you're bringing more than 10 people.

The best dessert ever. You have to try the pies. If you like pecan pie you have to order it. I really don't have a favorite one; since I have tried most of them. The father and daughter are so nice and put a whole lot of love into their creations. If you need something catered give them a call. The best food ever.

I come here all the time, I love to get the pecan pie and the chocolate cheese pie. My kids love their peach cobbler too. Don't forget to stop by for happy hour after 4, they always have great deals just in time for an afternoon treat.

Just loaded up on cake and pie slices...can't wait to get home and sample them!

Love not only the food, but the family treatment given by the workers. The service is amazing and I personally recommend the Red Velvet cake! The proportions are a DEAL for the price and quality!!

Wow! We tried Uncle Willie's Pies and were blown away! We bought a little bit of everything the day we went in...from cookies to cobbler...and everything was delicious! We will definitely be going back to pick up some pecan pies for Thanksgiving and a cheesecake, too! The young lady who helped us said that everything is baked fresh that day with only natural ingredients! No preservatives, I like that!

Simply the best, you will love the sweets as much as you'll love the sweet owners. Make sure you visit with them, they really have an amazing family and huge hearts to share. They cater as well! You can buy individual servings up to an entire party worth. You wont be disappointing! Red Oak is LUCKY to have them :)

Uncle willie's is so awsome!!! For all family function something of theirs is on the table. The service is great and the cakes pies and other treats make my mouth water, as a matter of fact as soon as I put this phone down I'm on my way up there

Poor Customer Service!!! I drove 30 minutes to try their pies for the first time. When I arrived they were closed 45 minutes early. I called the phone number from the site to find out why and let them now my concerns. An employee answered the phone even though they were closed! I let him know that I drove 30 minutes and that I was not happy with their service. I asked if they followed the posted hours on the site. He said yes but they closed early today. I asked him when can I come back to try the pies. He said we will be open tomorrow and that "they follow the posted hours on the site" even though they closed early! I told him that I thought they had poor customer service and that I would not be coming back. He did not care that he lost a potentially good customer with a big family that would of bought pies often. He told me "you don't have to drive your 30 minutes to get here and he didn't care". Due to poor customer service and not caring about their possible patrons I give them a negative review. Won't ever know if the pies are any good!?

This was anouther place that I tried thanks to LivingSocial. I went there a few months ago and I am in love. Let me keep this short and simple, some of the best desserts I ever had.

Purchased 2 Groupons for Uncle Willies's Pies. Used them to purchase a Key Lime Pie and Pecan Pie. The whip topping on the key lime tasted like cardboard. The Key Lime Pie itself tasted like sour dairy! My husband, mother and I both tried it after dinner one night and immediately spit it out. This pie was either made weeks prior to me placing my order and had gone bad or the ingredients used to make this pie were expired. We didn't dare try the Pecan Pie... Requesting a refund from Groupon!

I now understand why people give reviews solely on customer service and grade low. I visited this shop for the first time today. I had gotten a card in the mail with a coupon (worth about $1.50). I had it for awhile, but I was in the area and thought I would check it out. I was greeted when I walked in and from there it went downhill. I was told the card was two years old and no, it would not be honored. That was fine, although I thought maybe in the interest of good customer service they would honor a fairly insignificant amount to gain a new customer. Nope!From there, I asked some questions and decided to purchase two pies. Bottom line, apparently, as a new customer I should know I have to give 24 hours notice (although there were trays of pies sitting in front of me and I was planning on serving the pie this same evening) and then I was impolitely told, "it takes time to bake pies."Really?! From there I acknowledged I understood it takes time to bake pies and promptly left. What kind of courtesy and service is this to a new customer. I will never return and I will never recommend this establishment to anyone. In a day when customer service means alot, this company is sorely lacking and I don't care how good their products taste. It isn't worth being demeaned and treated unkindly!
