"Oozing with a non-pretentious lux and modern vibe, this Progresso Village brewery opened in late 2023. For those seeking stronger ABV selections – in the 8 percent plus range – Uncommon Path has a steady variety of brews. There’s an on-site Marna Forni pizza oven that perfects handcrafted pies, too." - Jesse Scott

We had our event at this beautiful brewery and it was such a hit with our guests, the space is beautiful, the beer/drinks are delicious with such great variety, and even the food was delicious (we especially loved the wings, focaccia, and pizza). The staff was amazing, kind and helpful, Marcos the owner was communicative and made sure our event went as smoothly as possible. I highly recommend this space for not only a quick stop to eat/drink but especially if you’re wanting to host a special event.

Google
Excellent beer and food! The hot honey pizza and wings were both great. Our favorite beers were the calculated chaos and the Chewbacca law. The bartender was also very helpful and nice. Must check out if you’re in the area!

Google
This place is super cute. It’s spacious indoor and outdoor and from what I saw pretty family friendly. The staff was nice and welcoming. I’m not into beer or cider so I tried the food. I got the meatballs and pretzels with cheese. To be honest they were both too salty for my liking.

Google
One of the best new brewpubs in the whole Miami-Ft Lauderdale metro! Great range of IPAs, sours, and heavy/rare options, most recently including a barleywine. 2 For Tuesday is the best deal you're going to find, and happy hour food is solid (meatballs, wings, etc.). Also loved the chill vibe and graffiti art decor.

Nick Gillette

Google
Delicious beers, really enjoyed the stouts and sours on tap! Martin gave us excellent service, friendly and hard-working. Will definitely recommend and return when in the area! Dollar oysters were a bonus too!

Google
The location is great. There is a record store right behind the brewery. The brews are mostly hoppy and the bartenders are also responsible for the tables. Therefore they are a little slammed and are not given the opportunity to Connect with the patrons . You end up waiting. I think you need a person on the floor so the bartenders can have time to connect with the patrons at the bar.

Google
Our new favorite brewery! We were in the area last night (we live closer to Miami) and stopped in to celebrate my husband’s (belated) birthday. We had actually tried another nearby place first but they didn’t offer flights, so fate led us here. What a great place!! We each ordered a flight with 4 different beers and everything was FANTASTIC. The BA Lazy Collusion was superb and I really hope they have cans of it in stock soon so I can swing by to pick some up. They did have other cans available, and really, everything we tried was great. The food options were also fantastic and very interesting. I highly recommend the pistachio pizza! The vibes in the place were great, everyone who helped us was very attentive and friendly, and they have a ton of screens to watch different sports on (and kindly changed one to the Mets game upon request). They also had a few outside seats if you want to enjoy the weather. Overall, we had a great experience, and the building itself is super cute with the outside murals. We will be back, and we plan to visit with our beer-loving friends whenever they are in town.

My husband did the fire alarm and electrical installation at this place, but we had never the chance to visit it until now, and we were truly impressed by the energy that flows there and the high quality of the food for such a casual spot. I highly recommend the pizza, which is very authentically Italian in style, and the drinks and were absolutely delicious.

Yelp
I recently visited Uncommon Path Brewing and was thoroughly impressed. The brewery offers ample parking and a spacious outdoor area, perfect for socializing. The beer selection is excellent, with a variety of styles to choose from. As a fan of New England IPAs, I particularly enjoyed the Seaside, which stood out as the best on tap. The venue is remarkably clean, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Although I didn't get to try the food this time, I've heard it's exceptional, so I'm looking forward to that on my next visit. I highly recommend checking out Uncommon Path Brewing for a great experience!

Paul J.

Yelp
Uncommon's pizza is some of the best in town! They're always friendly and accommodating--changing their Hot Roni pie to half pepperoni / half sausage for us. Their garlic artichoke dip is also full of flavor and pairs well with their house-made fresh bread. The beer list is ever-evolving but a favorite of mine is their Down the Rabbit Hole IPA, which they also have packaged in cans. They also offer a solid section of wines & packaged seltzers. They do a great job connecting with the community, we were there for the AOTA (Avenue of the Arts) Festival kickoff event, which will paint another mural on their exterior.

Yelp
Good tap selection, but service needs to improve. Bartender's attitude was toxic, telling people "no one likes a quitter" when people asked to close their tab. Extremely inappropriate "joke" to make in the context of serving alcohol. Card processing fees are added to bill but not disclosed ahead of time. This needs to be made clear that the patron is responsible for the business's card processing fee. Another patron's drink was mistakenly added to my tab instead of theirs. When I asked if I had been served an extra drink, I received a confident "YES". It's fine since I knew this individual and was happy to pay for one of their drinks, but otherwise completely unacceptable. Edit: Nice to see the owner is actively receptive to feedback. Hope my experience is better next time.

Valentina A.

Yelp
We went on a whim, and unbeknownst to us, it was very close to closing time. They served us and attended to us with no problems, they answered all our questions about the different types of beers they had, and very patiently helped me pick one (I'm not much of a beer person). The one they suggested has turned into one of my favorite adult beverages. It was a hard seltzer, but it wasn't very fizzy, which I loved and really let the subtle fruity, delicately sweet flavors shine. We also got some beers to go. The staff was very friendly, and the music was an absolute vibe! The lighting and art really make it a perfect hangout spot. We will definitely be back!

Kendra W.

Yelp
What a great start to the new Thrive District! UPB has some pretty solid brews and food options. Try the pizzas, they definitely hit the spot. The inside has a modern vibe and is good for socializing. Parking is located on the south side and along the street. Many of the bays are waiting for new businesses, and I think it will become a fun area to visit.

Iris M.

Yelp
This brewery doesn't get enough props on its yummy menu, beautifully designed restaurant & good vibes. Great for those new to the bee experience, but also the experts! I loved that the staff was patient to help create an individualized experience. It made all the difference for me since I'm fairly new to the brew game. If you're looking for a unique brewery experience, this spot may become your next regular group hang out or date night.

Yelp
My husband and I decided to check out this new (open less than a year) brewery on a late Sunday afternoon. It's a small space, but super cute with a small outdoor area in the back. Everything is very clean and updated. There are a few games available to play as well. There were a few other customers there, and it definitely picked up before we left. We sat at the bar since you have to order there anyway. The bartender Mike was awesome, very helpful and friendly. They have a smaller selection of beers, but a lot of IPAs. They also offer a few wines and seltzers, which I always appreciate. They don't offer flights, but will give you a tasting. They sell beer in half or full glasses. My husband first got Seaside, which he enjoyed, but he really liked Triverse, which Mike had recommended. Very hoppy and strong. I got a glass of the Prosecco. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and would definitely come back when in the area.

Chad S.

Yelp
I stopped in here Saturday afternoon. This place wasn't super busy, and I was able to get a seat at the bar. They don't offer beer flights, but instead you can get half pours. The beer was really good! I had a peanut butter Russian Imperial Stout, a Barleywine (very rare to see nowadays), a blueberry sour, and a very tasty Triple IPA. All the beers were very good and were high quality brews. I want hungry, but other patrons were eating and the food looked really good. They have a fig pizza that I'm going to try next visit. They have beers packed to go in a cooler that I took advantage of. Parking wasn't a problem and they have a full kitchen. This place is worth a visit.

Yelp
A hidden gem discovered by accident! We had tickets to see a show at the Parker and stopped to grab a quick bite and a brew. Lots of parking outside and a huge space inside but we sat at the bar. An electronic screen shows the current beef menu, with lots of great choices! The food is no joke either! Our pizza was called 'The Fig' and featured Gorgonzola, pancetta, mozzarella, red onions, and a fig jam. So good!! Staff were all great. Bartender was helpful and courteous, even the cook came out to explain food was taking a little longer because his crust wasn't perfect so he re-did it. The place was empty but ambience seems typical hipster brewery, games in a table in a corner and merch behind the counter.

Natalie E.

Yelp
This little hole in the wall is a gem! I love the theme with several legends on the wall like Frank Sinatra. They had a DJ play some chill house mix on a Friday afternoon which was nice. There were children and families there both inside and outside. Bartenders were very sweet and helpful in assisting with selecting a beer. I ended up getting IPAs including Down the Rabbit Hole which was my fave. I'd like to go again on a day when the sour beer is available, but overall I really enjoyed this place and the beer.

Yelp
Another crazy hidden brewery in Fort Lauderdale that has been here since September 2023. Plenty of free parking out front in a warehouse area. Met with the sole outgoing bartender Martin and suggested the Multiverse 8.2% imperial double and i had a small taste of the sour Berliner Weisse beer 9.2% (Gokana Strawberry Cheesecake). OMG excellent choice. This was in my top 3 sours for sure. They have cans of sparkling water and cans of hard smoothies. The bar is large and modern with very comfy velvet cushioned bar stools. Small kitchen offering pizza, wings and pretzels - food that goes well with cold beer. Some Jenga and playing cards here also. Very clean bathrooms too. 5 stars here easy.

Porsha H.

Yelp
New brewery alert! Uncommon path is a welcome spot! They have a nice variety of beers on taps. I personally enjoyed the crispy crossing and my companion enjoyed the morning delight. In addition to tasty beers they also offer food. We only tried the pizza which was very tasty, but the next time I come I must try the wings. I saw another table with them and they looked really good. If you're in the area come check them out!

Paige G.

Yelp
Great selection of beers. Love the dark lager. They allow dogs outside and inside which we appreciated. The food is great. We ordered the hot honey pizza which was delicious. Most importantly, the service was amazing. The staff were so friendly.

Troy C.

Yelp
Fantastic brewery in the up in coming Flagler Village area. I loved the vibe inside as it has a DJ on Friday nights. I went for an event and it really was well put together and enjoyable. I think Uncommon Path does a great job advertising on Instagram and it had a fantastic turnout of well over 75 people which surprised me. The beer selection was decent. I do wish they had some more choices for Pale-Ales or lagers but other than that I cannot complain. I tried both the Absence of Light and Cast Aways. Cast Aways had a strong wheat taste (considering it was considered a wheat beer) which got boring after halfway through so I'm guessing that just isn't my thing. I definitely preferred the Absence of Light as it didn't have that flavoring and was a lot smoother. If you are into Lagers would recommend that one! My one question which I didn't ask any of the Brew Masters but I will next time is I wonder how often they switch up the beer selections. I would like to try some other Lagers or Pale Ales in the future that are above 5% ABV that they come up with and it seemed that Absence of Light was the only one on the menu...

Michael B.

Yelp
Uncommon path is light industrial very nice. The deep green barstool and main wall accent the white stone counters and walls. The logo and decor are well put together. The bartender was nice and clearly a beer person based on knowledge and getting excited about it. She offered a sample so we would order something we liked. The pun intended is almost a milkshake ipa. Seaside has a hazzzzy aftertaste. Multiverse is the most dank. In general I wish less of the IPAs were hazy. It does make some blend together as well. I like how they have 2 guest beers as a nod to their brewery friends. Their guest serum was sweet but amazing. I didn't try any food but they have pizza, wings, pretzels, salad, and desserts.

Rickey S.

Yelp
We stopped in Uncommon Path for the first time on a Wednesday evening. I was immediately wowed by the ambiance!!! Warm wood, gold tones, rattan chandeliers, a beautiful mural, this place is my style exactly! Our group of 4 easily found a table. It wasn't crowded, so we ordered our beer and food at the bar. The dark lager was my favorite, but the IPA and sour drinkers in our group enjoyed their beers as well. The artichoke garlic dip was my favorite thing! I would come back just to eat this dip. Packed with flavor and served with warm pita, our group devoured it. We also ordered the oven baked wings, which came with a $3 lager since it was Wednesday! We'll definitely be returning to Uncommon Path for some beers or dinner. I'm looking forward to trying their pizzas, but first, I'll be having the artichoke garlic dip!

Ambar C.

Yelp
The space is beautiful. It's modern yet classy and very bright. It's small but with just the right amount of seating. There are plans for some outdoor seating as well. The area is very nice, close to galleries and retail spaces. We went for the opening and it was packed, but we were able to make it right before the crowd and got a table. The beer selection is great, highly recline d the stout, it's delicious! The pizzas looked super delicious but I went for a salad which was simple but very satisfying. Although it was busy service was excellent, very attentive. Looking forward to coming back.

Krishna P.

Yelp
Today is their Grand Opening and it was packed. Rightfully placed in the new Art District, this got good attention from the crowd and will hopefully stay this way over years. Spacious with high ceilings. Pizza was a bit pricey but tasted good. The beer was good. The Guava sour seemed like a popular drink today. Plenty of parking. Clean neighborhood.

Seda K.

Yelp
Imagine a place that's an elevated brewery with fresh pizza and good people. Now stop imagining and come here, because they did an awesome job with their beer, service, and food. A+++ I loved the design of the brewery which felt less divey and more like a winery I don't eat or like pizza, but I liked theirs. I tasted the fig and margherita; they were both great! I had the fig without the pancetta, they certainly use higher quality cheese then anywhere else and the margherita had a very fresh red sauce where you can actually taste the tomatoes over sugar, which is very rare. Their beer was great, I had the passion fruit raspberry sour to start with and ended with one of their stouts (not on the menu). My husband started with star maps which is a pale ale; it was light and refreshing. He finished with the dark lager which was borderline porter and has hints of coffee and a smoky flavor but lighter than a porter. Jessica helped us at the bar, she was super sweet and relatable she gave great recommendations. Lastly, what's a place without a good music. We enjoyed our time here. We will come again.

Matt W.

Yelp
What breweries should be. Amazing beers and amazing foods. Came in on a Friday around 5 and sat at the bar, the owner was quick to help us. Had a chance to talk to him a little bit too, what a great guy. Shared stories about breweries we visited in the Vermont area. These conversations are what make breweries the best. The beer was incredible, from the IPAs to the Mexican lagers. You could taste the work and passion in each brew. My finances favorite was the 5th and Sunrise. The spinach artichoke dip with the warm bread was delicious, and the pizza was crispy and perfect. The neighborhood is new and the decor inside is very unique to other breweries around. We can't wait to come back to try the wings and can't wait to see which other IPAs this place cranks out. Must try.

Lauren K.

Yelp
Reasonable prices and fun local vibe. Had some drinks and pizza. Pizza was decent. Didn't try the outdoors but like that they have the option. Dog friendly. DJ was good but the music was a bit loud for talking. Overall cool local spot. Free parking!

Justin B.

Yelp
Incredible pizza! Great service, IPA's are really great quality, really well made....especially the quad IPA! Really nice place to hang out!

Dorothea P.

Yelp
I came here on a Tuesday afternoon with a brewery tour. When we drove up I was instantly impressed by the establishment. When I walked in the first thing that I noticed was the way the walls were painted and the neon sign on top of the bar. The servers were waiting and ready to pour us some beers. When we got there we were able to have a few samples and I opted for the blueberry sour. It was my favorite beer that I had all day. The color is awesome and the blueberry flavor really shines though. The decorations, the clean atmosphere, the great beer, and the great people will keep me coming back to this brewery.

Ted

Yelp
This location has a wonderful selection of beers as well as some absolutely delicious food. My wife and I came. Here during Happy Hour and throughly enjoyed the food and beer that they had available. The food selection is paired down during happy hour for the specials, but they focused on the items that are easy and delicious. The beer has a great array of variety, with a speciality towards hazy IPA's, which we both enjoy. I would recommend this to anyone in the Fort Lauderdale area as a wonderful stop off if you just want a different vibe and some wonderful food and beer.

Alejandro K.

Yelp
if you like pizza and beer this is the place all of their pizzas are napolitan style and are super tasty. tried the pepperoni which was really good, has enough bite but makes is easy to eat for people that dont like spicy food. di marco was my favortie which is a white pizza with prosciutto and arugula. hot honey was good if you like the combination of sweet and spicy. tried couple of beers and they are really good, the 2 sours are highly recommended. the place is super nice inside, takes me back to fine dinning in new york. it looks good for any occasion from a date or even just being with friends. staff was super helpful with recommendations on beers and pizzas. you must order at the bar buy they will bring the food to your table. there is plenty of parking around as it are located in a new construction.

Michael H.

Yelp
This brewery is absolutely amazing!! Both the beer and the food are delicious and the ambience is like no other brewery I've ever been. There's a wide selection of beer -- something for everyone. I personally LOVE their revolving stouts and multiple IPAs, particularly Triverse! It's absolute fire. My favorite menu item is the Bianco. (Pro tip: add shredded mozzarella and parmesan.) The owners and the staff are extremely friendly...just another reason why I keep coming back. Cheers!

Ashley P.

Yelp
This brewery has quickly become one of my faves in Fort Lauderdale. They hit the mark on pretty much every style. Not to mention their pizza is great, the bartenders are down to earth, and the brewery itself is pretty. Actually, it's so cute inside that when I first went I didn't think the beer would be that good haha.. but they really exceeded my expectations in every area. Don't just take my word for it-- go visit asap and thank me later!

Nicholas Z.

Yelp
They had the UFC fights on TV which was a cool touch. Good spot to catch a game. Trendy atmosphere. Beers were good. Heavy on the IPA/Stouts, but great beers overall. The bartender was super friendly. I will be returning.

Erica C.

Yelp
I love the brewery and the atmosphere! The beer is great and the vibe is awesome. However, I went in multiple times to speak to someone about booking a private event and leaving all my contact information. I reached out to them on social media as well like they suggested. I called and no one ever answered. Finally over 2 months later someone texted me replying to my inquiry. I stated how much I loved the space but I am hesitant on booking since they are not exactly reliable..... never received a response text back. That is not the proper way to run a business, such a lack of communication, especially when someone is looking to pay to rent out the entire space.

Todd R.

Yelp
This was a nice find from my 2024 BeerPassport! Uncommon Path has got a comfy, upscale, modern coffee-house vibe but instead of coffee they're serving up some great craft brews, rustic pizzas, and great wings. Martin was our bartender and he's super warm, friendly, and patient. He's a blast to chat with as well and gives honest feedback on their food and beers which is nice because this can steer your decision if you're indecisive (such as myself). Sundays they do 50¢ wings!! That's right, 50¢!! The wings are baked/broiled and not fried so that's actually something I really appreciate. They do have a variety of sauces, but I think they need a little bit more thought on their sauces as the sauces weren't really the star of the show. I got the Buffalo, and my wife got the Sweet Thai Chili and we ended up with a free Cherry Pepper wings too....the cherry pepper sauce has potential but it's a bit one dimensional, not bad but could definitely use something to spark it up. We didn't try the pizza but they look amazing so I'll be coming back to have a pizza sometime. Now, on to the beers. Wow! If you're fond of hazy ipas this place will not disappoint. They are generous with their samples so sample away and find one you like. My favorite out of what I sampled was the Multiverse which was an imperial double hazy NE style ipa. Super juicy, flavorful, very easy to drink despite the hops and high alcohol content, I'd recommend this to any IPA fan. I really liked the vibe in here it was really nice and chill, without being the typical overly rustic brewery vibe. They do different events throughout the week so definitely check them out.

Mankneesha G.

Yelp
New hot spot in town!!! Such a good location, it's new and different! It might be my new weekly destination! The decor is adorable, never would think it's brewery. It's on a new trendy spot. They have food and a decent amount of taps.. looks like they have food too! They are working on the main crew. The a service was decent when I came. They just opened recently so they have so much growth potential!!

Khalimah R.

Yelp
Delicious pretzel bites. That garlic was popping! Great caprese wrap. And of course great beer suggestions. The bartender Jarrod was helpful with beer options. We got there right at opening but he was very patient with us while they continued to finish their opening prep. The music was 80's 90's giants! Great ambience

Martín L.

Yelp
My 8 year old daughter loves pretzels and last time we were here, she loved them. Tonight she wanted to eat pretzels here, so we visited. Unfortunately, they were unacceptable. The photos speak for themselves. They were well done to the point the seasoning was burnt. One of the plates came with oil on the bottom and a pretzel had what appeared to be a raw white onion stuck to it. My daughter was very disappointed and I was too. We will not eat here again.

Kristy D.

Yelp
Ugh where do I start ! This place is everything we've been hoping for in terms of new brewery! Such a beautiful set up and great quality beer!! Def a must go

Orlando C.

Yelp
Cool atmosphere and the beer is good, you gotta try their Coconut the world if you like stouts. Definitely a cool place to chill and you have enough parking not like some other breweries around here.

Emily O.

Yelp
Just went to this brewery and got the hot honey pizza and blueberry pie sours. Can't even explain how good they were. All four in our group got different beers and we all loved them! The place was so clean and such a great vibe overall.

Paul M.

Yelp
Nice space, great beer, and great hospitality. We met the owner, his wife and our server Jessica was tremendous. This brewery/restaurant has only been at it for two months I'm looking forward to greatness.

MiKe M.

Yelp
Before I begin, I do want to say the quality of the food and drink at this establishment was top tier. On the other side, as an Untappd Elite, I don't think I've ever been talked down to about beer so much in all my brewery visits. The small, yet elegant, Sistrunk adjacent location does not offer beer flights, but up to $8 half pours and $20+ personal pizzas ... My visit to taste 4 craft brews and a bit of ZAH cost $50 (including tax and 15% tip).

Julliana H.

Yelp
A friend and I went on opening day, and attacked us as it was. The service was very quick and friendly. Friendly. We got one of the pizzas and one of the salads. That day they were not doing any alterations to the pizzas, but the one we got was delicious. And they have two sours so I didn't realize that you had to specify which one. The guava is definitely better than the strawberry though, and the stout is one of the best outs I've had in a long time.

Andrew D.

Yelp
Great vibe, friendly service, and the beer was absolutely amazing! Plenty of seating both inside and outside

Olga Z.

Yelp
Fantastic new (opened late 2023) in the Progresso /Sistrunk Area off of NW 7th Avenue (Avenue of the Arts).

Matt L.

Yelp
Beer and bites with the Mrs. on lazy Sunday. Ambiance , food, and service...most importantly the beer....all excellent. Pretzels and wings (perfectly done), Double IPA for me, Sour for her, all great. Kudos to the barkeep as well.

Kevin O.

Yelp
Beer is good service not so much Ordered food with drinks and never came. Reminded staff and were surprised I ordered food

Tagliatelle C.

Yelp
Definitely uncommon. Not only are the beers great but the food is edible. Better than edible, it's better than most Fort Lauderdale restaurants serve. Compared to the food truck or pre-prepared garbage most area breweries serve, Uncommon is lunch or dinner worthy. The rest is simply great: Personable servers, manager and owner. Clean, date worthy atmosphere. Great tunes. Easy parking. Now our first choice in local breweries. Go, you may be pleasantly surprised.

Lourdes Z.

Yelp
Very welcoming, trendy atmosphere. If you like high ABV IPA's and stouts'a this is your place! Owner is very nice and knowledgeable. You can ask for a taste before ordering. The fig pizza was "figging" delicious! Found my new brewery.

Bob B.

Yelp
New place, highly recommend! Excellent beer, good food, very clean. Nice friendly staff, we will be heading back.

TJ H.

Yelp
New brewery, area with plenty of parking. The staff and part owner is very friendly and attentive. Food is delicious, can't wait to try more. We only had two of the imperial stouts, both were very good, the "As Above, So Below" maybe the best I have ever had the third imperial stout was only available in cans, I had to buy a couple to see if it can possibly be as great as the other two, I'll let you know

Samantha M.

Yelp
Coming to uncommon path has now become a Monday tradition: couldn't say greater things about the staff, the food, the drinks and the atmosphere. We had the garlic artichoke dip which was divine with bread- the shrimp, the meatballs which were soft and juicy and the beer cheese with pretzels which was heavenly. I had a sour and loved it but also enjoyed the dark lager and the Mexican beer. Give it a try!!!!

Daniela N.

Yelp
The food was delicious, we had 3 of their pizzas and a pistachio ice cream (my favorite pizza was "The Fig", so good!). And the waitress was great, super friendly, very attentive and accommodating. Would definitely recommend :)
