"Self-service wine bars aren’t for everyone, but Uncork Charleston does provide a relatively cost-effective way to sample several varieties. The wine bar also just hired Natasha Cline to head up the new small plate program, providing snacks while you sip." - Parker Milner

This was our first time visiting Uncork. Took my wife here for her birthday. They surprised her with a card and complimentary glass of champagne. The vibe was very nice and the self-serve wine bar concept was different in a good way. We had the meatballs and stuffed mushrooms which were both excellent. The wait staff and manager were very nice and attentive. Would definitely be back and highly recommend.

This place is truly a GEM on King Street. They have an amazing wine selection that will not only quench your thirst but keep your glass full! The team here is incredible, all hard working people that have the ultimate goal of making sure you’re having a great time. The local artists they have performing for live music are all talented and the charcuterie selection is THE BEST. in Charleston. Hands down. If you’re curious about this place please pop in for an amazing happy hour with friends that is a guaranteed good time. Highly recommend!!

SerpAPI
Nice concept (insert card to dispense 3 different tiers of amount of wine),large selection of self-dispensed wines. We had them build us a charcuterie board which was both very attractive as well as tasty. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Great food and drinks, as well as a pleasant atmosphere. I was searching for a place with live music to suit our 6 year old daughter and the girl playing that evening didn’t disappoint! Our kids tried their first Shirley Temple drinks - nonalcoholic of course - and now that’s all they want to ask for anywhere.

SerpAPI
Wonderful restaurant for delicious tapas and great wines. Service was outstanding. Thank you Katrina for helping to select a beautiful Cab and Theresa for help with ordering food. Sarah was also a pleasure to talk to. You've got a great staff Joseph. Thank you for a wonderful experience while visiting Charleston!

Love the concept of this place! They have a large wine selection to choose from and a full bar for cocktails. We tried the ravioli during our culinary tour and they were the best thing we had on the tour! Fun spot, definitely worth a visit

SerpAPI
Self serve wine bar that also serves cocktails and has a full bar.🍷 Cool concept where you get a "wine credit card" upon entry and then you can choose your own tastings or full pours from the selection of wines on tap. Then you pay your "balance" at the end. The staff was fun and friendly . Wasn't a fan of the food ... Brussel sprouts were soggy, drowning in a pool of broth like liquid and covered with way too much gorgonzola cheese. Other people's food around us didn't look much better. Just stick with the wine.

Went here for dinner for my friend's bachelorette weekend she (bride) got a complimentary champagne. Service was quick and top notch. Everyone was so nice and attentive. There's a self-serve wine bar, that's such a great concept. You insert a card and you can choose from 3 options to dispense wine at different amounts. There's a lot of wines to choose from. I got the Cheese Stuffed Truffle Ravioli and it was delicious. It was definitely heavy though.. cheese, pasta, and chicken- I couldn't finish it. And the bread was *chef's kiss*. My friends got the Tortellini and Chicken Marsala and they all seemed to enjoy it as well.

Yelp
We had some entrees and drinks at the bar last weekend. We also met with the owner - Natasha and two members of her staff - Natasha, Rachel and Erika, respectively. First of all, their friendliness, professionality and hospitality was outstanding. Next, their wine and cocktail choices were immense and of the best standard. There was something for everyone. The pasta dishes which we ordered were of fine taste and quality. Finally, their location is unbeatable being on the historic King Street with all its restaurants/cafes/bars, young people, architecture, boutiques and more. Kings St is the best strip in Charleston, SC. We will be at Uncork again again and again. -- Izabela and Sam

Yelp
I left a solid review for this spot that sadly was deleted in error. I finally tried the espresso martini which was rated #1 in Charleston! Impressive given how many bars serve it. I definitely enjoyed it. There is a server from PA here who is so sweet & friendly!! The selection of wines were fantastic and my parents were happy to see some Spanish wines.

Yelp
If you're in Charleston visiting, you have to do this food tour we did that affiliated with this restaurant. It was legit amazing!!! We started at the Veggie Bin. Where everyone who booked the tour that day picked out one thing in the store and the chef takes what everyone picked and prepares a surprise 4 course meal for everyone. Everything was absolutely delicious. The chef comes out the table to serve you and explains each ingredient used that the group picked. Very delicious and unique. I never had so much fun. While the chef prepares the group also goes on a tour around Charleston. You have to check it out!! Here are some dishes the chef prepared with our ingredients

Yelp
I wanted to love this place. Cool, low lit, artsy ambiance. The wine tasting concept is great, this one is pretty pricey in comparison to others of its kind. The mushroom ravioli was a disappointment. The sundried tomato lemon butter sauce was tart and did not pair well with the richness of mushroom ravioli in my opinion. A garlic truffle olive oil, or Marsala, or subtle cream sauce would all improve the dish.

Yelp
Every time we come we have an amazing meal, great, great staff, and just a lovely experience. Whether you want wine or cocktails, a nibble, or a meal, this place ticks the mark !!!! Most recently we had the Bourbon Brisket plate, and I am still thinking about how delicious this was !!! To many more....

Yelp
The charcuterie was amazing. Love the pour your own wine. Service was impeccable. Every person there was great.

Yelp
I've been here twice now and will make it point to stop here every time I'm in Charleston! The wine tap is such a fun experience being able to sample any and all the wine I want! The Whipped Goat Cheese Crostini is a must! We also got the Meatballs which was also yummy! We really enjoyed lounging around trying delicious wines, munching on apps and talking to the servers who were very nice. It was so relaxing to sit by the windows and the comfy chairs. Highly recommend stopping here if you're in the area!

Yelp
One of my go-to wine bars in Charleston. The staff is friendly and fun. Their food is awesome. Natasha is the chef and does an awesome job. They have a full bar with great specialty drinks. Their wine selections are great. They have the Enomatic wine tasting system, which is great for trying the various wines they have featured.

Yelp
Wasn't expecting to visit while in Charleston for a short while but the family was torn. My son and I wanted biscuits next-door and my husband is not a breakfast person! So luckily I am not a big wine person (only because I have Asian flush andcant consumeorenthan a few sips before I'm beet red) but he is and we got our biscuits came into uncork, ordered wine, she crab soup and salad and everyone was happy! Honestly the salad and perfect appetizers were great for me because the biscuit was quite heavy. I asked our server what could I order that is quintessential Charleston and she suggested that she crab soup! I had never had one before but I loved it so much... that hint of Sherry was everything! I've seen this wine bar concept before but Uncork really has it down. HubbyStanks was in heaven!

Yelp
Great atmosphere great food great wine great people! We went for happy hour and I highly recommend. Very fun date night or girls night activity as you get to fill up your own wine glass by a taste, half pour or full pour. The food was actually pretty good as well we got happy hour special goat cheese crostini which was delicious for $8. My only warning is that the charcuterie ended up being like $50 with everything, it was good but not enough cheese and meat for it to be that much. Had a great time!

Yelp
Great vibe and great music. Make sure you make a reservation here. Great music (@mollydurnin) and drinks. Bartenders make amazing drinks and our very attentive. Uncork Charleston is a smaller venue but it's cozy and has comfy seating. Next time I'll try the food - looking forward to getting a charcuterie board.

Yelp
Dropped in for some wine after dinner. My guest was a regular so I felt like VIP when we entered. We were greeted with hugs and smiles and once they found out we were celebrating my birthday, they treated us to a toast of Prosecco! Such a sweet gesture! Our servers Jaelle and T were so nice and friendly and just kept us entertained during our visit. Uncorked is a wine bar with wine on tap. They have a dinner menu with other drinks available as well. There gourmet charcuterie selection is quite pleasing to the eye and palate. The variety of wines on tap was enough to satisfy my evening. We didn't stay long since it was getting late and we both had to work in the morning. Will definitely be making this a regular spot on my entertaining list.

Yelp
First time in Charleston and so glad we stopped in. The stuffed mushrooms were so good and what a fun way to try some new wines. The staff was super friendly as well.

Yelp
The most amazing dinner tonight at this downtown Charleston restaurant. Chef Natasha went above and beyond for our group and I can't remember the last time I had such creative and delicious food and a fun and relaxed ambiance to boot! Bravo Natasha , bravo!!

Yelp
Apparently we're the naysayers in the crowd on this one, we just did not jibe with this place. We were visiting and walking the streets looking for a place to eat. The menu looked pretty good so we decided to give it a try. I guess we didn't quite understand the whole pour your own wine concept enough. The hostess explained the process - give them your credit card, they give you a card to use to get your wine tastes or pours from the choices on the wall. She also told us since it was Thursday bottles were 50% off. The problem was - there was no wine list and she couldn't tell us how much a bottle of wine was until we picked it or tried it from the wall. I really wasn't in the mood to play a guessing game of how much is this one? How about that one? I didn't want to end up with a $120/60 bottle of wine or more - so we opted to try out at least a glass. Headed over to the wine wall and I picked my wine. Inserted our card and I pushed the button for a 3 oz pour. And pushed and pushed. Nothing. Got the hostess. Same problem. She said it happens pretty often. She excused herself and said she had to get the manager. At that point my bf and I decided that maybe this just wasn't the place for us and decided to leave and find someplace that was less work. Also - the place was basically empty, us and another couple - so it was lacking in ambiance. Not what we were looking for I guess.

Yelp
I wanted to go out with a bang for my 50, and what better way then to have unlimited access to wine. I gathered some incredible ladies and we all met at Uncork. The place is intimate and warm. Things were at a slower pace than most places. We did not feel rushed or in the way. All of the ladies who helped us were friendly. The food hit the spot. I definitely recommend their peach & walnut salad! I enjoyed all the wines I got to taste and even brought some home for later. If you are looking for a quaint little joint that make you feel like royalty, this is the spot!

Yelp
Loved this cute little wine bar! It is a self service wine bar where the wine is on tap. You sync your credit card to a card they give you and you can try all different types of wine. They had some really great rose and orange wine options. The food looked great but we didn't eat there we stopped in before dinner elsewhere. We were so lucky we got a cute table by the window and it was great people watching.

Yelp
Go. So cute. Great service. Delicious food. Great cocktails. 24 reds 16 whites avail for self serve. It's just fun, relaxing & good. Highly recommend a stop here.

Yelp
Visited this wine bar on a food tour and loved the ambiance inside! Their service was amazing and the concept of a self serve wine bar is really neat so you can try various wines to explore what's out there. Their food is also perfect for a light snack and includes things like finger foods and charcuterie boards. We got a Brie, strawberry and cucumber bruschetta which was good but could have used a bit more cheese!

Paulina O.

Yelp
Cool place! The food was delicious, and the wine was excellent, the service was great too and even my kids had a great time. The only detail that I would change is that the menu that is printed is different from the menu that is digital and they served us a dish that we ordered from the digital version and they just actually changed it... so instead of getting mashed potatoes and asparagus as we wanted with the brisket, we got great and broccoli which were OK, but it was not what we thought it would be. Otherwise it was a great place.

Angela K.

Yelp
1000% Go here!! Amazing meals or charcuterie boards and great range of wine -you choose whatever amount works for you. Lots of tasting available plus dog friendly! Bring the well behaved puppy for a treat and some extra cuddles from the staff.

Yelp
Such a cute place! The food was amazing and the atmosphere was so cute. I was shocked that it wasn't more busy on a Friday evening. Would be a super cute place for bachelorette parties or other celebration events. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Uncork is a fantastic self-serve wine bar with food, charcuterie boards and a full bar. I highly recommend (10/10), and we will definitely return. Uncork has a wall of 40 wines down the right side that you serve yourself through a self-dispensing mechanism. You can choose from 1, 3 and 6 ounce pours. The wines are pretty expensive, but all of the wines we tried were good. Uncork also has a full bar in the back right. We ordered a espresso martini from the bar, and it was really good. Uncork has multiple options for food. We got the charcuterie board, which had meats, cheese, nuts, pickled vegetables, fruits, dried fruits, fresh locally baked bread, in-house made sauces and mustards and fresh herbs. It may have been the best charcuterie board we have ever eaten. We sat at the bar and were able to interact with a lot of the employees. The service was very good. The bar tender, chef and servers were all really friendly and attentive. On the night we went, there was live music with a man playing guitar and singing. I highly recommend Uncork Charleston (10/10), and we will definitely return.

Yelp
Uncork Charleston is a wonderful wine bar in the heart of King street. It offers the option to pour your our wine withe the machine dispenser but it also has a great cocktail menu on the bar. The happy hour is phenomenal and offers these cocktails at half price. The food is amazing! They offer some appetizers that can be easily shared but my favorite part is the option to make your ownCharcuterie board by choosing from several meat and cheese options. Regardless of what you choose, you get a full board with delicious honey, bread, picked vegetables, jams and everything you can imagine to make it t incredible. The staff is really nice and accommodating and were able to offer gluten free options for the board for one of our party members. (cucumber slices instad of bread) I cannot recommend it enough and I will certainly be coming back !

Yelp
This is a great little wine bar thar we just happened upon while walking down King street. It's small and cozy with live music and a decent wine selection. Service was great! Thanks Brittany!
google avatar

Lisa L.

Yelp
What a fun concept! I haven't been to a place like this but I loved the idea and ability to try so many different wines without having to buy a full glass. We came in for happy hour and their items on that menu were also amazing. I definitely recommend trying this place if you're a lover of wine, good vibes; and flavorful food.
google avatar

Yelp
The best charcuterie and wine selection in Charleston! Love their live music on the weekends. I also tried the she crab soup and brisket and they were delicious!!! Highly recommend. Really awesome staff and the bartender was so sweet!
google avatar

Joe D.

Yelp
Unique wines in stock. Had a nice South African Syrah and a Spanish Red. My wife had the she crab soup with some bread on the side and creme brulee for dessert. I had the shrimp and grits and their unfashioned bourbon cocktail (had 2). Nice ambiance with the live band playing in the background. A romantic place to go on a date.
google avatar

Angela G.

Yelp
We were there Saturday night and we had a great time. The band Domino Theory was playing Jazz and they were excellent. The food is yummy and inexpensive. Our server, April, was very friendly. She had such positive energy. The whole place was great. Ee will definately be back again. Thanks for a great time.

Yelp
Frickin LOVE this place. I love love love splitting charcuterie and small plates and this place is the best for it! Super tasty food, great happy hour deals, and really cute vibe. The only thing that sucks is finding parking downtown but it doesn't hinder my love for this place!!!
google avatar

Angel P.

Yelp
This is my favorite spot for date night or a girls get together! The food is amazing and the wine options are off the chain. The staff/service never fails to impress and they're more than happy to help with selections.

Jason D.

Yelp
A dream destination for wine lovers, beer lovers, cocktail lovers, food lovers and concept lovers. 10/10 for quality, 10/10 for taste, 10/10 for creativity and 10/10 for service.
google avatar

Jeanette G.

Yelp
Friendly, attentive and informative service. Great concept for a self serve wine bar. Bourbon was great. We shared the meatballs and cheese board. Highly recommend the basil infused olive oil for dipping.
google avatar

Nikki B.

Yelp
Great espresso martinis! Honestly one of the best in Charleston, no syrups, not overly sweet. Topped with cacoa Instead of beans but honestly it was so good I won't fault them for it! Menu looks great can't wait to go back!

Jenn A.

Yelp
Had a lovely server/hostess and was the perfect spot for celebrating our bachelorette. Definitely recommend!

Latasha B.

Yelp
Such a cute place. I really enjoyed the vibe here and the opportunity to taste SEVERAL types of wines. The food here is very good . The plates are small, but extremely delicious. The seating is spaced out but they do have some community seating options which also can accommodate larger parties. The seating near the front windows offer a unique chance to eat tasty foods while being entertained by passers by. It isn't traditional seating but is similar to having wine and drinks at a friends house with more comfortable chairs and lower tables. The food was delicious. I opted for the Wild Boar Ravioli. I made an attempt to share with my friend, so I gave her one ravioli to try...I was being cordial. The meatballs were yummy as well. The marina was perfect. I always like to try as many things as I can, so I need another visit to close up the menu.

Yelp
Great little spot to grab some good food and drinks. Not to be outdone by the entertainment. Talented young man singing while playing his guitar. Worth a return to for everything. Our server Britney was awesome too.
google avatar

Yelp
We ran in here because it was raining while we were shopping on King St. It is a small little spot, yet cozy with great ambiance. The whole place is a really fun concept where you get to pour your own wine. My husband and I really enjoyed how kind and helpful the staff was and loved being able to enjoy a few different wines we normally would not try.
google avatar

Laura P.

Yelp
We were pleasantly surprised! Great atmosphere, pour your own wine, happy hour on Sunday too! We had the meatballs which was 4 large delicious meatballs with sauce and baguette. We will definitely come back!
google avatar

Yelp
I've been here a couple times now and the most recent visit was with my wife before a show. We ordered a charcuterie board with two cheeses and two meats, but in addition to that, they added on raisins, nuts, seeds, and bread, along with honey and a dipping oil. Naturally, we obtained a wine card so that we could sample everything and anything we desired. I'm not an expert when it comes to wine, so I enjoy being able to sip and savor little bits at a time without committing to a large glass or bottle. We stayed for about an hour and had our fill before moving along. Great place to relax, sip, dine, and people watch.
google avatar

Anna F.

Yelp
Super cute self serve wine bar. Our server was friendly and helpful. I liked that I am able go try wines without committing to a full glass. Our waiter gave us great recommendations. The charcuterie platter was delicious and enough for the three of us. We tried to go back the next night after the Bridge Run but they didn't have anymore tables available. They have a live band on Saturdays.

Yelp
My husband and I traveled from Florida for a quick vacation up to Charleston. Our first stop was Uncork and we were pleasantly surprised by many things: the atmosphere, the service, the selection and the flavors of the dishes. Everyone was incredibly friendly and kind and took the time to answer our questions, explain the wine on tap (so fun!) and the history of this spot. If you aren't looking to drink any of the wines on tap, they had plenty of options at the bar - my husband enjoyed a beer and a glass of Prosecco. I took full advantage of the wine card to try three different wines on tap (all red for me). Every bite of food we had was scrumptious -- I can't speak highly enough of the flavors that were developed and how the chef paid attention to every detail. We truly appreciated the time, energy and patience of each team member - we felt like royalty and had such a wonderful time visiting. We definitely will be back! Cheers! https://www.instagram.com/p/CeziQudMW8w/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= - Meatballs (Toasted baguette, Marinara, Basil, Shaved Asiago) - Stuffed portobello mushrooms (Mozzarella, Proscuitto, Thyme-Balsamic Glaze) - Three cheese tortellini (Housemade Vodka-Herb Sauce, Smoked Sea Salt, Baked Mozzarella, Fresh Basil, Baguette)

Yelp
I loved everything about this experience. The staff, the ambiance, and the atmosphere! They are a dog-friendly place, so we took our little guy with us and enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine and an excellent cheese board. I will definitely be back when I'm in Charleston again.

Yelp
What a great concept! My wife and I were waiting on dinner reservations for Valentine's Day and happened to walk by here. The Espresso Martjni advertised in the chalk board outside the door called me in so my wife and I checked in to see if we could grab a spot at the bar. We were greeted by a very friendly and talkative gentleman and we're lucky enough to come in at the right time to get a spot. We sat down and Jess made the martini. She was very friendly with my wife and I ended up ordering a whiskey cocktail as well. On the way out, I figured we couldn't leave without testing some of the wines. I tried two reds from the 'enomatic'. Each wine is priced differently and you choose how much of a pour you want. Overall, we had some time well spent in here and would highly recommend. Very classy, elegant and romantic; perfect spot for Valentine's Day, or any special occasion.

Alex L.

Yelp
The staff was so welcoming and friendly! Thank you angel and anna for you're welcoming faces and big shout out to the bartender lauren for an amazing cocktail! will definitely recommend!!!
google avatar

Tori B.

Yelp
We came here for happy hour and it was such a fun place! They have a self service wine bar! $8 cocktails and $8 food bites during happy hour. I would recommend popping into for a nice glass of wine!

Lexi S.

Yelp
I don't usually leave reviews but wanted to leave one for this place. We stopped in randomly on our trip to Charleston. The hostess was friendly and showed us how to use the wine pour system. She showed us the QR codes as well and said that bottles were half off on Thursdays. We used our card to sample a few wines and then settled on a bottle. I was pleasantly surprised by the food. We got the prosciutto wrapped chicken, tortellini, and garlic bread. It was delicious!!! The place was cozy and a great place for a date night!
google avatar

Ron M.

Yelp
Cool place good vibes Great selection of wine and the setup to sample the wines is very cool and efficient . The food was delicious Roasted Brussels sprouts with gorgonzola cheese and applewood smoked bacon was outstanding The grilled chicken sandwich was sublime with a nice smoky flavor and applewood bacon The crostini with whipped goat cheese and prosciutto and strawberries was delicious The staff very attentive and accommodating Good gastronomical experience

Yelp
We visited Uncork on a girls trip a couple weeks ago. We had a fantastic time - the wine list is great and we enjoyed the "tastings" via the card system. Our cheese plate was amazing. Service was outstanding. In fact I left my sunglasses there and the staff found them and the owner Ken carefully packed them and shipped them to me. Truly a great place if you find yourself in downtown Charleston.
