My wife and I had the pleasure of experiencing a 7 day cruise on board the UnCruise Wilderness Discoverer the beginning of June, 2025. Our itinerary included 2 days in Glacier Bay N.P. and it was the adults only cruise. The entire crew were amazing and so happy to share the experience with us. Our weather was perfect and we even had some days in the low 60 degree range. Daily kayaking, shore excursions, informative skiff tours were our choice of activities. We saw humpback whales, brown bear,sea otters, sea lions, harbor seal, mountain goats with their kids and numerous bald eagles and other birds. The meals were all delicious and they included vegan and gluten free options. The lounge was well stocked and the nightly talks by various guides were both informative and fun. The Wilderness Discoverer on our cruise had 76 guests and around 23 crew. The experience and memories exceeded our expectations.

Absolutely incredible. Took a 7 day cruise on the Safari Quest and it was the trip of a lifetime. A small boat with only 18 passengers we lucked out and had a group of 12. Kayaking every single day in the most remote bays you can imagine. Whales within 20 feet of the boat, absolutely breathtaking scenery; wild animals and Michelin star level food. A phenomenal trip and one that I will be remembering for the rest of my life.

Sitka to Juneau glacier bay 7 day expedition on Safari Endevour . Recommend this journey starting in Sitka as the scenery and wildlife experiences get better each day ! Great basic but comfortable accom , fabulous food and service from very attentive staff . Guides really terrific enthusiastic and attentive to everyone on board . Choice daily of adventures am and pm catering for all ages and abilities . Kayaking easy with the loading platform . Highly recommend this very special 7 day opportunity to really experience and explore this part of wondrous Alaska !

We booked an Alaska Cruise adventure and we’re really happy about it. The activities offered were between easy and strenuous, so everyone from young to old can find something nice! Food and drinks on the cruise were excellent. Nice friendly team.

So great. Can't say enough about this company. The staff was friendly, helpful and fun to be around. They really wanted you to be happy and have fun.

Although the crew was great, we were well cared for and we did have a good time, I feel like we were ripped off by the sales team when they moved us to a different tour on a different boat last minute. We ended up staying in a different cabin class because what we booked wasn't acceptable to us on the new boat. The difference between what we paid for and where we ended up was about $4000. They gave us $1000 for the itinerary change. When I complained afterward, we were offered "an additional savings" (unspecified amount) on our next booking. I’ve called, written emails, even written directly to the company owner via snail mail and tried to contact him via someone who knows him. It's been three months. Still nothing. The full story...we originally booked the Glacier Bay National Park cruise on the Wilderness Discoverer round-trip out of Juneau, but a large group cancelled and Uncruise subsequently cancelled our trip 4 days before departure. They gave us the option to join a cruise on the Wilderness Explorer out of Ketchikan for which they'd alter the itinerary so it would also visit Glacier Bay and return to Juneau with our same dates, or we could rebook for a different time or cancel completely. They pressured us to make a quick decision and we'd been planning a vacation for months that included follow-on activities. Changing all the dates on that last minute would have been a mess, so we went along with the changed itinerary. We had booked the Admiral cabin (highest cabin class) on the Wilderness Discoverer with a stand-alone queen bed and sitting area. When we arrived on the Wilderness Explorer, the Admiral cabin turned out to have a murphy bed against a wall on one side (so one of us would have to crawl over the other to get out) and since it converted into a sofa, there was no space to store a bag! The room was super small. We ended up switching to a Trailblazer class cabin (two cabin classes lower than what we'd booked) with two twin beds and promises to "make it right" afterward. Apparently "making it right" means offering a discount on a future booking. I don't think so.

My family and I rented a Bare Boat and were docked at Barlet Cove to attend orientation to go into Glacier Bay National Park. Unfortunately our boat had mechanical problems and I mentioned it to Tahlia who was a crew on the UnCruise that was docked behind us. Before we knew it, Jake, who was the engineer on that ship, showed up at our boat and offered to help us!!!!!!! Within 15 minutes he fixed the problem!!!!! Thank you sooo m7ch!!@@@

We did a 7 day cruise in Alaska with Glacier Bay. The service, guides, food, and craft were all exceptional. I highly recommend.

This is truly a cruise unlike what one would be considered a cruise. It is an UN-cruise of outdoor adventure, operating from a comfortable smallish ship. Wife and I arranged this trip on the recommendation of our son, Clark, who was in the travel field of business. The trip was his family plus his mom and dad (us), for 2024, but he died when his aorta burst and we had to re-book for 2025. So Clark's two sons and his wife, plus us went in August 2025. It was great. Our daughter-in-law and the two grandsons are adventure oriented and they were in heaven. Each morning and afternoon there were excursions: guided kayak, kayak explorations, bushwhacking hikes, all day kayak ventures. Eco-hikes, and inflatable boat trips. My wife and I, at 79 years old were fine going on Eco-hikes and inflatable trips. Everyone had something they wanted to do. The ship had 72 passengers aboard, plus crew. Meals were served in a comfy dining room with table service. The food was wonderful and seconds were mostly available...a super smile event for out two teen grandsons. The lounge had an open bar-tended bar with cookies put out at 3pm daily. An evening briefing was done as to activities and each night had a featured speaker covering: Birds, Bears, Glaciers and Whales. All of the presenters were experienced experts and were excellent. The Uncruise took place in SE Alaska and we were able to sail all over those many islands in our smaller ship. The large cruise liners were limited to areas and had to abide with time slots to get into and out of the big tourist attractions. We were able to take in sooooo much more. Whales were a constant. Lots of flukes displayed, mothers with babies and spouts coming up helped us to pinpoint where they were. In the inflatables, the whale watching was thrilling. A lot of nature and we went out in whatever the weather was at the time. We brought the gear and the ship had rubber boots for everyone. Rooms were two bunks with private bath and shower. Absolutely fine and we were usually in bed right after the evening briefings and presentations. We slept well. The crew was so accommodating and the ship captain had the bridge open to visit 24/7. The ship was kept super clean and was very safe. UnCruise is unique and a company to look into, regardless of your age. The conduct ADVENTURE Cruises. We would go again.
