"The limited edition sneaker world is a strange one (long, break of dawn lines, huge markups on eBay), but while Undefeated gets plenty of notable exclusives from brands like Nike, you don't feel like you've stepped into another (albeit intimidating) world when you shop here. Most of the shoes are for men though there's a healthy selection of women's options and the kid collection is pretty adorable, too. There are also locations in Santa Monica and on La Brea."

I was surprised to see this here, I thought La Brea only had a store. A solid location with a descent selection. My buddies were able to get the Black Toe 1 reimagines and I got myself a crossbody bag. I’d definitely come back here again to check out some releases and other Undftd items.

Great service and customer service here not like Glendale undefeated employees

This sneaker shop has a little bit for everyone. They have all the new fresh kicks and often have a line overnight to purchase them before they drop anywhere else in the country. The pricing can be from reasonable to outrageous to whatever you want to spend! I however will go and try on the kicks and see if I like them and then go online to see if I can find them at a better price which I usually can. This store has cool and courteous employees and a small selection of T shirts and hats as well. For all you sneaker heads out there this is your one stop shop for shoe heaven!

High quality jackets, inviting store layout.

My son wanted a pair of shoes so we went to this store but the service is so poor!! I can’t believe who hires this kind of people to work on a retail store. You won’t last longer on that location with that kind of service to the public. Service is poor, not skills to deal with people. Better attention to the costumers will bring better business!! I don’t recommend going to this location. There so many shoe’s stores out there no need to come to this location. Not a good experience!

Google
Call me old fashioned but answering a customer's inquiry with "No, we don't!" then hanging up probably isn't the nicest or most professional way to deal with a customer. To be honest, kinda douchey but its not my business so I'm sure your boss's opinion is way more important than mine.

With my budget of $4000 I went along with two friends who suggested I should consider shopping for new clothing and most importantly shoes at Undefeated. They claimed to be having a sale and were "sorry" they didn't have anything I asked for in stock but the attitudes and taciturn dispositions were disgusting to say the least. I gave them my sizes for shoes and they said the didn't have anything left in the entire store and refused to check. This location looks to have 40 year old adults dressed as highschoolers who watched two hip hop music videos total and clearly failed to emulate more wealthy and stylish individuals they desperately wish they were. I will happily inform you that their Santa Monica store is superior. I heavily suggest looking elsewhere if you have a large budget and want decent help picking out stuff. I have lived in this area for 25 years as a Native to Los Angeles and never have had such an intensely negative experience. I purposely dressed down to see if it would alter my experience and they had no problem cracking jokes at my expense and laughing off to side. I will be reporting my experience to their parent company/coporate offices.

Yelp
I placed an order online over Black Friday weekend which was cancelled shortly afterwards. After attempting to contact the company through their online portal numerous times they refuse to resolve the problem and continue to reply with what seems to be an automated response rather than an actual person. This is some of the worst customer service I have experienced and I suggest everyone refrain from making an online purchase or any purchase from them at all. I have supported Undefeated for over two decades, but now I feel like I no longer should. I previously disregard the negative reviews I have read about this company from Yelp and Trustpilot, but now from my experience it seems as if they are true. If this company was truly Undefeated, as the moniker states, I would think they should have 5 stars and satisfied customers but clearly they do not.

Yelp
I was talking to a friend today who reviews sneakers on YouTube that also had a similar experience as me with this store. Every time I'd pass by Silverlake, it was a must I stopped by Undefeated. This used to be my go-to sneaker shop in all of LA. Sadly, I stopped giving them my business after an incident that was poorly handled on their end. Bought a pair of Nikes that literally cut up my heel within 3 blocks of walking. I could barely walk home and it took me 2 weeks to heal from my heels bleeding. I called them and asked if anything could be done and the store refused to help me so I called Nike and explained to them my problem and they gave me a store credit to use at Nike. On top of that, I have never walked out of that store and felt like I was treated well. Their employees are trained to act either like they're too good to service you or they straight up have no manners. There was this Asian guy who used to ring me up and had no interest in even speaking or saying hello or thank you. What I will say is that they did have a great selection of sneakers which is why I'm bumping this one star to a two, also parking was always good in their Silverlake location. It's unfortunate that stores like these deliver such negligent experiences. I will happily support stores like Bodega and Dover Street Market any day before these guys.

Yelp
Customer service at this store sucks horse manure. The dudes in there act high n mighty, as if their shi...t don't stink. Feels as if your bothering them, interrupting the interesting conversations they're having.

Yelp
So I stopped by Undefeated on Sunset while I was out in Hollywood. Glad I stopped by since they had great merchandise and Chris helped me pick out some cool stuff! I ended up buying a few things and Chris also hooked me up with an Undefeated swag bag, thanks Chris! Definitely will go back for more stuff in the near future.
google avatar

Mr Yelpsta G.

Yelp
I ordered a pair of Nikes I've been patiently waiting for them and then all of a sudden I get an email saying my refund is being processed. Wtf I did not order a refund? You guys are shady asf ! Last time I ever deal with this lame ass company. Definitely undefeated shitty customer service!

Yelp
Great store. Horrible customer service. Employees look uninterested and unapproachable. I tried to ask a question about some Jordan's that just dropped and the employee cut me off without letting me finish the question to say they don't have it. The two that were working at the time just looked at each other then looked at me as if I asked a dumb question. I understand if a lot of people that day were asking the same question they might feel annoyed but at the same time you would think they would still have the common human decency to atleast be nice about it. I've gone here a handful of times. Seems like the employees are always having a bad day. No greetings. No goodbyes. No thank you's. They don't ask if you need help they just stand there looking like they're judging you lol.

S S.

Yelp
I came in with my girlfriend today and had the best customer service! Geechy, Leo and Alaina helped me and we had great conversation and they went above and beyond to check other locations for more shoes that I had my eyes on. We went home with happy purchases and I'll definitely be coming back as a regular! Thank you Undefeated for the awesome selection and staff!

Yelp
Store is cool. Employees are often rude or ignore you. Website designer is terrible, raffle submissions do not work via cell and website is full of bugs as well, so you prob won't have the ability to partake in any raffles. The store is a cool concept and has awesome products but the execution online and employees' attitude is more frustrating for customers than it is worth it (been going for over five years, poor customer experience has not changed yet, will update when it does, I like next door, their website says my address is invalid, we neighbors lol) People I have recommended to this place often come back and complain about their experience.

Yelp
I loved this place!!!! I used to go when I would get off work and buy new clothes and sneakers. Good old days how I miss you!!!! Not sure what happen but... it's empty inside and CLOSED!!!!

Yelp
I was born and raised in the silver lake area and am huge on supporting all the businesses within the area . I have only been to this store twice and had horrible experiences on both occasions . I will never recommend any friends or family to invest there hard earned money in this business . Upon arriving was never once greeted or asked for help . I approached the employee first ( bad business ) to get the shoes I went specifically for . Upon checking out and paying never once did that employee greet me nor make eye contact. This company lacks customer service skills and I don't know how this business sees itself succeeding with such horrible service . I never plan on returning and hope future customers take my review into consideration.

Ivan ..

Yelp
30 minutes and Four people were needed to process a refund. Display price says one price then at check out they try to rise the price. Horrible service overall.
google avatar

Collin C.

Yelp
This company has gone so far down hill. They could care less about the customer. There is no manager to get in touch with. There's no way to return anything. Hard to support a company that treats their fans like garbage.

Yelp
My favorite of all the Undefeated locations... Not just because this one is the closest Undftd to my place but the staff is really solid here. I've known Chris and Jay for a long time. They're good people and treat me like family... It helps that I'm an addict for sneakers but they, along with Masumi, have always been super cool with me from the beginning. For that, I will always be grateful. The Silverlake store is bigger than the original La Brea location. It has more toddler and kids shoes than the La Brea, Santa Monica or Las Vegas stores. That really helps when I need to buy a legit pair of sneakers for my godson or looking for a gift for friends' kids. This location also has a Nike SB account which is a big plus. Good selection of sneakers from Nike, Adidas, Converse, Puma... and the other usual suspects. Apparel from Undftd's own line or Nike SB & Jordan Brand are sometimes sold here.

Yelp
Love undefeated. Customer service is awesome. Always friendly and willing to help out. They have up to date sneakers and sometimes exclusives. I've bought a few sneakers there and so has the husband. But when we take my nephew there it seems like they always come out with a new pair of sneakers. Ha ha ha So if your looking for exclusive or fresh sneakers head out to undefeated if not they can contact their other store. Love buying my sneakers here.

Yelp
I would give this place 0 stars if possible. We weren't asked if we needed help with anything or greeted by any of the workers in the store. My boyfriend asked for a shirt in another size and the worker we asked looked at us like we were stupid, blatantly said "he didn't know", disregarded our question and didn't even bother to ask the other worker if he can check for us. Instead, he continued to have a conversation with someone else. We then asked the other worker for help, who was just as unpleasant. Idk who y'all hire here but what kind of customer service is that? Fire them!
google avatar

Rene A.

Yelp
I came in over the weekend. It has been awhile since I've been to this location. I came here with the intention of buying some T-Shirts. I walked in and I had some items that I wanted to dispose. I was responded with a look and "Sorry, we can not toss your cup in the trash." Wow, the customer service needs some work. Not sure If I will come back to the location. Maybe I will just shop online instead. Oh, and In did buy like 3 t-shirts.
google avatar

John C.

Yelp
Real snobbiest elitist shop here. Idk if that's a good thing or not... but the customer service was okay when I went. The customer based seemed real snootier then most other places. I defiantly did not feel welcomed because of that.

Bernadette M.

Yelp
Literally was in traffic coming from San Diego and they said the store was "closed" there was still 15 minutes. Fuckin ass holes !!!!!!!!! You close at 7 not 6:45 ! Or we wouldn't have attempted to drive over here !!

Cesar C.

Yelp
Good store but because the bad service i had to give it a one came to buy some shirts here & when asking the guy to grab me both color ways in a particular size he walked away and started talking to the other employees as if i wasn't going to purchase anything then when confronting him and telling him again he goes to the back to grab one shirt only when i insisted in 2 color ways then proceeds to grab the other shirt but then takes the display shirt &. Give it to me & put the brand new shirts in the package away so i had to tell him like yo can i get the brand new ones in the bag i don't want the ones thats been sitting out for sone time he makes a big issue about it just horrible service overall
google avatar

Yelp
Very bad customer service. Female employee with short hair yelling at people saying they can't use their phone in the store as if that's a rule at any store in the world. The company needs to work on her attitude if they plan to keep her long term. This is a popular store and she's a bad apple here.

Whats The T.

Yelp
I am not one to complain and write reviews because I have worked in retail for years and I know terrible customers. But I also know terrible customer service. I have shopped in this location for years with no problem but for the past year, a sales girl name HOLLY has brought lackluster service, condescending attitude, and a superiority complex probably due to the fact that she feels fab working at Undefeated. Every time I step in, she never leaves the counter and proceeds to talk to her coworkers and today was no different. It's two days before Christmas. This is the time to make sales. And there was a handful of people, including myself, who was in there to buy holidays gifts. Before I asked for help, I overhear a customer being rung up by Holly, asking if there was a gift bag. She rolls her eyes and says no. The customer asked for wrapping and she giggles to a respond "You don't want me to wrap your gifts." I asked for a specific shoe in my size and she goes "we don't have that size. Whatever's there is the smallest size", not leaving her post. I asked for a pair my brother wanted and she begrudgingly goes to the back because I cut off her conversation with her two coworkers. When I was paying, I asked for a gift receipt during my payment processing and she goes "You should've asked earlier. Now I have to go back and reprint it for you" like it was an inconvenience to her. Now, I work in Beverly Hills where customer service goes above and beyond and I am only expecting the bare minimum of customer service, whether it's greeting, attentiveness, product knowledge and communication but for some reason, none of those are being met as of late. If it weren't for my brother really wanting those pair of shoes, I really would not want to go back if I have to deal with her or anyone of that type of "service". Bodega will get my coin as of now.

Yelp
I'm very disappointed in the way I was treated in the store. Not only did I walk in and didn't get a high or hello. They proceeded to comment on the way I was acting with my boyfriend. I really don't like you guys that's why you guys got three stars fuck you ha ha
google avatar

Yelp
The staff is always under the influence of something. Every time I've purchased something from them they manage to make a mistake at the registers. I don't care what they do on their time but on the clock that's different! The raffles are rigged the lines are unorganized. They don't know how to handle pressure . Hire better security guards, ones that aren't homophobic or sexually harass the customers.

Marvin Abdul Hasib S.

Yelp
I have never stepped foot in this place prior to this buy, because no joke its a Hipster Snobby Sneaker boutique. Like the Hype Beast Capitol of LA. I mean, im glad they had the shoes i wanted (Retro 1996 Dennis Rodman Air Shake NDestrukt) but besides that... meh. All the other shoes were more expensive than retail, and the staff,... Oh man the staff..... the only dude that was cool was the one that ran me up. Besides that everyone in there is stuck up and not helpful. I mean.... i know i dont dress like a baller... but you cant work a retail job and have an attitude problem. I mean, Al Bundy sold shoes too, and yall in the same boat! Shout out to the Cashier who was cool as f*ck, but you gave me the wrong box bro!
google avatar

Kristi N.

Yelp
Okay, so I don't usually write reviews BUT I am compelled to let you Yelpers know that you should beware of the HORRIBLE customer service that you will receive when you come here. And based on other reviews I've read, it's not us, it's them! So sad! This was my first time stopping into the store and I was really excited as I had never been but always wanted to check out the cool shoes. I wasn't greeted when I walked in. Didn't realize the only other person in the store was the worker (shorter Asian guy) until he walked around the counter. Made me feel really bad and like I wasn't accepted there. He was really rude and seemed to be mad and had an attitude. Such a disappointment for what an awesome shop it looked like it was. Granted, the shoes were pretty expensive but unique! I think they lose a lot of business due to their poor customer service. Not welcoming! I'll never go back, they lost my business.

Rich H.

Yelp
It's hard to rate a sneaker store. But undefeated has a great selection and is always getting the latest drops. So that's nice. They are also located by a large number of coffee shops so it allows a shopper to grab a drink when in line. But I don't think their fashion matches the stores that it is surrounded by. There are a few men's stores, but most of the area is high end women's clothing. And that could be off putting to a kid trying to get some sneakers. The area also lacks diversity due to the gentrification of the area. The kids who work in the shop seem okay, they have a lot of fun and tend to be very into social media rather than being in customers in the shop.
google avatar

Lincoln J.

Yelp
Couldn't accommodate a wrong size purchase because it was sale, terrible customer service take your money elsewhere.

Danielle G.

Yelp
wish i could give the employees here a 0. they're so fucking rude and give you this dumb look as if what you just asked was a dumb question. they give each other looks like there's an inside joke about you (the customer). It's ridiculous how uncomfortable and unwelcoming the workers make you feel. human decency isn't that hard!

Jonny G.

Yelp
This place has the worst customer service sales associates. The sales associates are extremely rude and unwelcoming. They don't want you to touch anything in the store. And when you do touch something they make it apparent that you are being inconvenient to them. I try to use my debit card to purchase two items and a sales associate suggested that I pay cash. She said that the card reader does not work however the person that was rung up before me had paid with card so I knew the card reader did work. I felt like I was being discriminated based on how I looked. I have never in my life felt so uncomfortable in a establishment.

Yelp
Great shop. Great one-on-one service. Limited selection of shoes in sizes 11-12. No returns... AT ALL. JUST store credit. Even if they give you the weong pair of shoes. Managed to find a fitting pair of VANS at last. Asked if I could change the colorl and that was no problem. When I paid at the register they swopped the pair that I had just tried on for a pair in the desired color. Coming home later that day I tried on my new pair of shoes and wtf.. wrong size! One week later. Back to the shop. They don't have the shoe anymore in my size, not even in a different color. Since I don't live in LA I asked for my money back. Not possible. "It's our policy not to give money back." So now I have a store credit, for a store that's a thousand miles away from where I live.. LAME!

Matt J.

Yelp
Went in to this shoe store last week and I love this place! Great people working & good customer service. Always good convos.

Kevin G.

Yelp
I watched the staff shoot a passing LA metro bus with paintballs before they even acknowledged that we were standing at the door waiting to be let inside...not even joking lol

Yelp
Quick & Friendly Customer Service Here! Called to inquire on a drop & was given the info I was looking for. They were quick to pickup, answered all my main questions I had at the spot, and were upbeat with the vibes.

Yelp
I ventured through this particular Undefeated store and was amazed at the selection of cool shoes. Some turquoise blue Nikes really had me at their first hello, but I was here for a purpose! A friendly Facebook invitation alerted me to a party of sorts to celebrate the unveiling of a new shoe designed from the joint painting talents of Kristine Klosterman and Brandon Boyd. A "Collaborative Canvas Collection" is what occurred when these two painted a massive canvas that was then used to turn out some really impressive looking shoes. Now I am no shoe gourmet but I was impressed by how really dope they turned out. And even better-this was a collaboration with a company called Tom's Shoes- a great company. Purchase a pair of Tom's Shoes, and they will give a free pair of shoes to a child in need. "One for One" as they would say. Since Tom's Shoes beginning in May 2006, Tom's has given away over 130,000 pairs of shoes, and they are making plans to give away over 300,000 pairs alone this year. So there was this super hipster party happening in the parking lot behind this Undefeated store in Silverlake. Open bar, a great DJ named Peytonious spinning lots of 80's stuff, girls galore tricked out in the latest leather booties and cute dresses. Guys looking impossibly tres Silverlake chic in that cool Hollywood fashion. It was a trip to check out how this "other half" really lives! I don't party much myself, so I was really enjoying taking it all in from the sidelines with the next door Rincon Salvadoreno restaurant employees who were loving all the excitement too! But what gives this review 5 Stars is not Undefeated. It was the fact that Undefeated was wise enough to secure the services of Brandon Boyd-he alone brought the lines of quivering female-hood to this "hood." And he was so delectably sweet and accommodating to all who were lucky enough to come into his space aura. The look of sheer bliss was constantly displayed on all the ladies faces and the guys were looking impressed too. It seems like it would be nice to be so openly admired like that. After some very vigorous meeting-and-greeting and at a certain point, Brandon was carted off by some lackey and the lucky few who held court with him were feeling smug. Everyone else still waiting in line looked bummed but that didn't stop these rabid Boyd-hers from putting down a cool $150 for a pair of these canvas kicks. They came: one-by-one-as if in lockstep out of Undefeated-carrying their bags with the precious cargo inside and looking as if in a daze! If that Brandon Boyd could "package" whatever he has that entices all these frothing females-he'd never need to go on tour again-that's for sure! And if that Kristen Klosterman has an ounce of business sense-which I am sure she does-she'll get Brandon back to painting even more practical items like artistic diapers or even bedsheets-which will really drive his feminine minions mad with hormonal desire! To summarize: This Undefeated seems like a dope store-no, not Medical Marijuana-but the latest rage in shoes and such. These trendies know how to throw a dope party-no, not a pot rage, but a fun. fashionable get-together..in a parking lot no less!. It was an awesome open bar and Brandon- no rock star diva-he-was very gracious to everyone. Tom's Shoes is a wonderful company who also recently did some shoe stuff with the Dave Matthews Band last year. They do business with lots of churches-in fact, my local Church has something coming up with Tom's to buy shoes and get free ones for a Tijuana orphanage we sponsor. The lucky ones who bought the Kristen/Brandon shoes should try as hard as they can to NOT put them on E Bay so quickly and enjoy their beauty and collectability as the works of art they truly are! Good job-Undefeated. And thanks to Tom's Shoes!

Yelp
Got a pair of Toms as a gift. I visited the store to exchange the shoe style. Unfortunately, their selection is very limited. Granted, most stores have a limited selection of Toms, but I just wanted to find the pair I liked. The staff was super friendly and helpful and they seem to have a good selection of other shoes, check it out. Awesome gelato shop next door !

Yelp
Ehhhh , this store customer service is trash . I called in and they have zero etiquette !!!!!!! They don't keep track of their inventory because they told me certain items were sold out but once I showed up to the store they had them.

Katie S.

Yelp
They really don't know customer service phone etiquette. "What?" At the end of our conversation they don't even say goodbye or thank you, just hung up.
google avatar

Marta C.

Yelp
We walked in ready to buy shoes - all we needed was for a sales rep to pull our size. Staff were all huddled around together chatting, laughing and looking at their phones so I stood near them for an awkwardly long time trying to make eye contact but they kept ignoring us so we left. Bummer. What a bad experience.

Yelp
Great execution of merchandising. Awesome product. Real chill staff. Love shopping here. Don't sleep on their sales.

Yelp
It is with great pleasure that I leave this feedback of my experience with Christopher. He was clear, helpful and professional. After engaging with him I will no doubt return again.

Yelp
This store is awful don't shop here. Worst customer service I've ever dealt with. Very difficult people and absolutely zero problem solving skills present.

Yelp
One of the best sneaker stores in all of Los Angeles. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful and their sneaker selection is as good as anywhere. I frequent Undefeated stores with my son, and out of all their locations, Silverlake is the one! The staff is so kind and knowledgeable and the store always looks so clean. I even waited in line for a sneaker release here with my son once and was in-and-out in 20 minutes (which if you've never waited for a sneaker release, that's nothing!) Can't recommend this store enough to anyone looking for fresh sneakers and clothing in Silverlake area.
google avatar

Tommy L.

Yelp
Usually hit or miss with shoes for me here. Mostly nikes (dunks, dunk sb, jordan, air max, etc), saw a couple of toms, pumas, vans, and adidas. This store has a bigger selection than the Santa Monica store. The staff is helpful and overall a great place to buy sneakers.

Yelp
This past winter... We love sneakers. We love sneaker shops. We even like Undefeated on the West side. We happened to be in Silverlake, and of course wanted to go in. My friend and I opened the door to go in, since we saw other customers inside. The employee said they're closed and wouldn't let us in. We stood outside in the freezing cold while our husbands caught up, and suddenly see the employee open the door wide open for someone else. Was it because we had strollers? Maybe. Funny that one of the reasons why we wanted to go in was to buy a few pairs of Nikes for our kids. We decided to go in anyways only to get stared down. Our husbands came in to join us, and let the employee know that they're with us so he wouldn't turn them away. The employee then gave them a dirty look and said under his breath, "You better not f**k s**t up." Our husbands ignored that comment. The first customer they let in apologized to the employee, saying he didn't know they were closing. The employee then loudly replied, "Nah man, you're cool; everyone else can f**k off." I wouldn't leave this store with shoes if they were giving them away. This kind of behavior is unacceptable for any establishment. You're not the only store that sells dunks. Get over yourselves.

Yelp
Nice selection and normal prices. Lets look at the 2 hater reviews. A broke person and a west-sider.

Yelp
Many said the customer service at its La Brea store is bad, and unfortunately, the service I received here is even worse. I bought a pair of shoes at its La Brea store, and the staff there gave me a wrong shoe box for the shoes that I purchased. Moreover, the shoes supposed to come with 3 pairs of different shoe laces but they only gave me two pairs and told me that's the way it is. I wanted to return the shoes the next day and since I was in the Silver Lake area, I visited its Sunset store. The store manager Alfred Bell took care of my return and once he found out the shoe box didn't match with the shoes, and there was a missing pair of shoe laces, he started questioning me with extremely disrespectful attitude and made me felt very uncomfortable. The whole issued was created by the absent-minded staff at La Brea and Mr. Bell has no reason to talk to me in such a rude manner. Undefeated wants to position its brand as cool and sought after, but that doesn't mean you could trash its customers and insult them. This was the first pair of shoes I purchased at Undefeated, and the experiences in both stores were truly unpleasant.

Yelp
Rivalling but certainly not surpassing my local Commonwealth store in DC, Undefeated offers up a long wall of shoes for the sneakerhead and the casual shoe consumer who might want something just a little different from the rest. The shoe selection was definitely heavy on the Nikes, but living with a Nike fanatic the selection is a blessing. Undefeated also stocks other brands like Adidas, Pumas, and my current shoe brand of the moment: Claes. The store is a little light on the apparel and baseball cap selection but the staff was super friendly. I can definitely see myself coming here first to scope out a present for the Nike fanatic in my life.
