Yelp
Have to admit, staying there is pricey. That is the only reason we didn't give them 5 stars. However, the accommodations, the staff, the food and the R & R we got while there for 3 nights was the trade off. No cell phone or internet...what a blessing! The tent was clean, nicely appointed with soft-as-silk, layered luxury linens, plenty of pillows, towels and the like. Our tent had a flush toilet (sofa and chairs and coffee table) and a hot-on-demand shower, with soaps, shampoo, conditioners. We went all luxury, but if you are ok with a community (separate/private) bathrooms, you can downsize on the luxury and still get a wonderful camping experience. Plenty of places to eat in the area if you want to shave a little of the cost of your stay...but remember, no food in the tent! That rule is a true bonus for you, wildlife and future campers. The community bathrooms on sight, by the way, were very, very clean. Honestly, if you liked camping as a kid but don't want to sleep on the ground and pitch a tent any longer, or if you have kids and want to have a family blast without TV, internet, iPhone, take them to Under Canvas and get to know them again and just play! Lots to do in the area (rafting, tubing, zip lining, hiking, horseback riding and more). The little town of Gatlinburg is nearby if you're not the amusement park kind (Dollywood is also nearby and some folks like that kind of stuff along with other street-lined amusements). Our group preferred the camping, the hanging out, campfires, on sight games, complimentary coffee/infused and fresh water, s'mores, (and cocktails, beer, wine for purchase)! Met campers from all over the country, all ages and everyone was excited to be there and were friendly. Can't say enough about the terrific, warm and welcoming staff and the wonderful food! Loved our trip and reunion with good friends. We will visit again.
