Yelp
4 stars due to the high beer prices, but everything else is a 5.
I have been to BrewDog - Las Vegas before and love the vibe (I even have a shirt from them and bought another one this time), but I have to say the beer prices surprised me. We went to three other breweries, and the expensive pints were $10-11 dollars, with the average average between $7-9, whereas in comparison, BrewDog started at $11 and went up to $13. Mind you, the other three breweries were off the strip and did not have a rooftop view like BrewDog, so maybe that explains the price difference.
We came here on Saturday afternoon to chill and have a few. We went up to the rooftop, and since we weren't ordering food, we were told we could find a seat in the bar area or in another area with lounge-like seats. We opted for the lounge-like seats that had a view of the strip. There was a live DJ who was killing it and really added to the "fun-time" vibe. Since we were sitting in the lounge-like area, we had to go to the bar to get our drinks, which wasn't a big deal.
I can't say enough about the view. It's amazing. You get a bird' s-eye view of the strip, and it's fun looking down the strip and seeing all the hustle and bustle. In addition, there are plenty of seats out of the sun and umbrellas if needed.
I started with a flight and was not disappointed. A flight comes with four 6oz pours, and you write your choices on a little card. I am a hoppy fan, so I was able to try four hoppy beers. BrewDog has its menu divided into beer types (e.g., Pale Ale and IPA, Lager and Pilsner, etc., and even a section of "Made in Vegas"), which makes it easy to know what you are ordering. My favorite was the Punk IPA. They also have a full bar, so if you are not a beer fan, you can still enjoy yourself.
I am an avid beer drinker and collect patches from breweries to go on a jean jacket. BrewDog has some great merch with awesome designs. Unfortunately, they didn't have any patches, but that didn't stop me from buying a new shirt. I got a red button-up that pays homage to their Elvis Juice.
They offer Happy Hour Monday - Thursday, so if you aren't a big beer fan, it might be better to try to hit the happy hour to avoid the expensive beer prices. But if you want to see a great view and enjoy some brews, definitely check out BrewDog.
