Unforgettable Bakery + Cafe

For my birthday we planned on visiting Savannah Ga. In Daytona Beach, where we live there is no bakery that serves people with food allergies so I was on the search for a bakery that could do just that. I found unforgettable bakery and they are just that. I ordered online as gluten free and vegan were both offered as a selection. They called to clarify details and even allowed us to pick up the cake as we were leaving town on their day off. I appreciate this family owned business so much and will definitely be back again. I meant to take a pic of the cake before but it looked so good that I cut right into it. The cake was so moist and delicious!! You can’t tell the difference between this and a regular cake. The service was as amazing as this cake! Thank you unforgettable!!

I recently purchased a caramel cake from Unforgettable bakery in Savannah, GA, and I can't stop raving about it! From the very first bite, it was clear this cake was made with love and tradition. The cake itself was perfectly moist with a soft, buttery texture, and the caramel icing? Pure heaven. Rich, smooth, and just the right amount of sweetness without being overpowering. What really stood out was the homemade taste. This cake was for a birthday gathering. This cake was truly the star of the show. Really can't rate how good their food is. They close at 5:00 p.m., we showed up at 3:30 and they said they were closed and wouldn't let us in. We wanted to get a cake for our son's birthday, and they had plenty of them. We were there in time. Very disappointed as they were rates really high. Unfortunately, we could not come back the next day cuz they were going to be closed.

Loved!! Loved!! The pineapple upside down cake!!! Not a crumb was left! It was DELICIOUS! Customer service was top notch! The owner is so kind and helpful with any questions you have! Thank you!!!! I will definitely be ordering my cakes from here for the next birthday!

She made a hugely delicious 3layer gluten/ vegan strawberries n cream cake for my girls Bday in a day and a half ! Great service and no one knew the cake was gluten free. Big ole fresh Strawberries sealed the deal. Will come back for the next bday. Thank you!

I want tell my story and experience with unforgettable bakery. Myself and my husband are vegan so when it’s our birthdays. It’s extremely hard to find vegan cakes for us. I prayed on it and god lead me to this wonderful bakery. I called the owner to see if she could assist with my husband birthday cake. She was so pleasant and understanding when it came to my order. She told to place my order and she would have it ready. When my husband and I walked into her bakery it felt like home. And smell so good her presentation of baked goods are awesome. The cake was so beautiful and deliciously made. I’m so thankful to god for directing her, to us place your orders today everyone.

I accidentally missed my turn for Goodwill and ended up spotting this cafe. I'm a sucker for a local coffee shop, so I walked over here after my Goodwill trip. The woman running the shop was absolutely wonderful and it was super delicious coffee. They don't have a ton of coffee flavors, but they do have several milk options for those who have allergies or preferences. Great experience overall!

Haitian bakery alert! Wow! I've been here 4 years and have been searching high and low for anything Haitian (other than the art and square downtown) and was pleasantly surprised when I stopped by to grab coffee and saw Haitian baked goods. As a Haitian, this place is the real deal! The pate (meat turnovers) were SO good. This place needs more attention. There are eleven fresh squeezed juices and other baked goods go vegetarians and vegans. Very cool! I met the owner, and she is so lovely. We had a great conversation and her energy is divine. Do yourself a favor and stop by! Haitian baked goods are like no other !

I recently visited this cafe, drawn by the menu listed in Yelp hoping for soup and sandwich. They served neither. They only had bakery items and frozen dinner take-outs. I wasn't ready for desert so I left without ordering anything. They need to update their online menus. The counter clerk was very pleasant.

Definitely unforgettable! I just had the most delicious slice of cake. The cake was fresh, moist and layer and frosted with the most creamiest cream cheese frosting. I was planning to take it home to have it with some coffee, that didn't happen. I gad the pleasure of meeting Ms. Belinda, the baker/chef behind all the unforgettable goodness. She gave me a sample of rich and delicious chicken gumbo... I'll be ordering some on the next round. Too much yumminess under one roof.

I tried to go to 2 other cupcakes places, and found them both closed permanently. I walked in here and found a wonderful owner who was so helpful. I bought two cupcakes (butter and carrot), and two slices of cake (key lime and strawberry). So good, and I highly recommend this shop!

First but definitely not the last birthday cake I ordered from the new operators of this bakery. The birthday cake was attractive and delicious. Don't know what their special touch is but was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

What a pleasant bakery luncheon spot. It is one of the few places to satisfy your sweet tooth across the street from the Bed Bath and Beyond strip mall. This small business owner offer items with a dash of Caribbean flair. I had the apple pound cake and it had hints of all spice and was the perfect balance of sweetness. Those who wish for sweeter options can choose between a variety of cakes or cupcakes. Sold by the slice or the entire cake. Baking done on the premises. I went back a second time ( a good sign) but items I wanted to try were not available. Coffee and wraps are part of the menu. The owner also makes special beverage tonics (tumeric, ginger, etc.). I wouldn't be surprised if my rating goes up if I get a chance to try some more items.

Tried the key lime pie and the chocolate cake. Both were excellent. The shop owner was warm and answered our questions. She offers some savory foods as take-out. Was so glad we stopped in!

This is my first Yelp review, so pardon me if it's a bit romanticized. "Unforgettable, That's what you are . . ." I found this charming (hidden gem) of a bakery on the day they were celebrating the Haitian Independence Day (January 1st) in 2019. From the moment I stepped through the door, even though this was my first time there, I was welcomed like family. The food was delicious, the service on the first visit was like I had been coming there for years, and the celebration they offered, a mix of storytelling, Haitian art, and music, made me feel like a wide-eyed child exploring a new world. Upon leaving, Belinda Baptiste, the delightful owner of Unforgettable, came over to hug me, and thank me for spending this momentous day with her family, of which I was now eternally a part of. "That's why, darling, it's incredible That someone so unforgettable Thinks that I am Unforgettable, too.... " To pull a line from Dr. Suess, I walked out of the Unforgettable Bakery and Cafe in Savannah, Ga, feeling as though my heart had grown three sizes that day! Anytime I'm in Savannah, I plan to head back there, and you should go as well. Pran plezi!!!

We have had our share of cupcakes, and Ms. Belinda's strawberry cupcake and lemon cupcake rank among the best! Definitely stop in and when you're done get yourself a ginger drink PS - the coconut ginger cookie is a MUST try.

Why have I not visited Unforgettable Bakery before? I have no clue. I had the pleasure of attending a meeting held at the bakery & loved everything about it. Firsty, the food was great. I tasted the chicken salad, pasta salad, and key lime cake. Secondly, the rosemary limeade was not like anything I have ever tasted; it was unique, earthy, & refreshing! I literally had 3 cups of it! Lastly, the owner. She was overly hospitable, personable, and after speaking with her a bit, I learned that she is truly altruistic. This is the type of business I can truly support: one that has great food, drink, and most importantly, people.

I ordered 750 assorted cupcakes for a recent event at the Savannah Convention Center. Belinda was so easy to work with and added our logo to the cupcakes (extra charge). The cupcakes looked great and were delicious! They were all devoured quickly. I highly recommend Unforgettable Bakery & Cafe!

Very tasty cake, frosting was not overly sweet. I like strawberries. Very homely owners and very nice.

Unfortunately, I forgot about Unforgettable Bakery. It was one of the first coffee houses we went to before we moved to Savannah. I felt a little guilty when the owner remembered us. Black coffee was good. The latte had no foam. The crab cakes and sandwiches were great. The coffee was ok but the bakery and food were worth the stop.

One of the best secrets in savannah. The crab cake sandwich is amazing!! The juices phenomenal, the cakes are just... any reason to celebrate. I haven't gone in years because I live out of the state. But I'm jealous for those who have access to it now.. Please stay safe.

If you want quiche for lunch, they make the best! Just call to make sure they have not sold out! Their layer cakes are the best bakery cakes I have found in Savannah!

The German chocolate cake was the best I've ever had! The chocolate layers were moist and dark and the coconut filling/topping was just delicious.

I won't soon forget how delicious Unforgettable Cafe is! Our family allergist was actually the one to suggest it and I'm so glad that he did! From the food to the friendly service, this local gem is 10 stars! It's a bakery with a purpose and makes already yummy food taste that much better. They're known for their cakes which I haven't tried yet but definitely will. They have flavorful vegan varieties that even us carnivores will gobble up. The black bean soup is so good. We also got the sautéed chicken wrap and I'm Drooling just thinking about how yummy it was. The Griot (pronounces Gree OH) was different and delightful. The pasta salad side is sweet and tangy and different. They have a variety of fresh juices that I will try next time (as my goal is to literally eat my way through the menu) It's a great spot for a lunch date or if you need to get some work done out of the house. WiFi, a great and well air conditioned environment, and super clean an cute interior make it a pleasant place to hang out. The owner and staff couldn't be friendlier and more helpful and make your visit that much more enjoyable!

I can not believe I am about to brag about a tuna fish sandwich, but here it goes! WOW! this isn't a canned tuna fish, it is made from some fresh tuna!! It has a sweetness that blow my taste buds mind!! They also make homemade cakes and other sweets. My lunch was only $6.95 & it came with homemade potato salad!

The food was fabulous. The gumbo and the curry soup along with that tuna salad sandwich. I finally found a place with flavor without a lot of salt. Make sure you get the cornbread ( the hint of orange and turmeric) will warm your inner core. We were just driving by looking for a place to drink coffee on a cold gray day. What a ray of sunshine to bright the day.!!!

I was getting an oil change down the street and hungry. I walked into this gem and ordered an oatmeal cookie, the island quiche, and a cupcake. Everything was delicious and fresh! I will be back

I just discovered this local treasure today! So glad I did, I ordered the crab cake sandwich, it comes with pasta. Both were delicious! Plenty of crab meat in the cakes, served on a croissant with homemade sauce. All very good! I read some of the story behind this deli while waiting for my meal. This is a very special place, with a mission to help others! Support this local business and enjoy great food while doing it!

Love this place! The owner is very personable and nice! The food was delicious and her in house made drinks were great. I had the chicken gumbo and Hibiscus drink.

My daughter and I stopped in after going to the doctor . Staff is very friendly and the restaurant is clean . The food was amazing and we had fast service . The chicken gumbo had a perfect amount of kick and the cupcakes are to die for ! Will be coming back very soon

The smoothie was great, really fresh! I think I had mango mango; however, my crab cake was pretty much filling no crab. I did love the sauce on top and the flavor was great just wasn't enough crab and that should be a crime. The sweet potato salad just wasn't my thing, however I'm willing to try something else if I ever go back. 2 stars because of quality not for taste.

This place was a rip off ! Would not except my two Groupon coupons in the amount of $20 redeemable for 40 because they claimed Groupon did not pay them. This is none of my concern they took my money through Groupon and refused to honor them. What kind of business is that? That is between the bakery and Groupon. There was nothing in the bakery that I would've had anyway..,Groupon needs to refund that money to my account as that was stolen from me. I was there on 6 November and my Groupon's were valid until the eighth. I drove all the way from Claxton Georgia to Savannah. A waste of gas time and energy

Great food. I had the Curry Kokoye soup and Chicken Salad sandwich. Both were great but the soup really stood out. So flavorful and tasty. I ordered using Uber Eats and everything was great

Chocolate Cake with Cream Cheese Icing was amazing!!! Very moist and creamy! I would recommend this bakery to anyone. The cake was a hit at the Birthday Party!

Hands down one of my favourite places in Savannah. I loved the ginger beer and the plantain crusted vegetable quiche. I really enjoy talking to the owner Belinda. Her happy energy is contagious! To me the food and experience were truly unforgettable.

Get the chili. I can't say enough about the chili. It's outstanding. Call ahead to make sure they have it. If they have do, get in your car and drive there as quickly as possible. You won't regret it.

Great breakfast! Portions are generous. Good homes type food with a Haitian twist. The amazing thing is that this bakery benefits the less fortunate. There is a place in heaven for these people!

One of my favorite places to eat in all of Savannah. The food is made with all great ingredients and the menu selection is amazing. Some of my favorites are the creamy shrimp on a croissant, chicken salad sandwich, and their chicken gumbo. Service can't be beat either. I always feel right at home. I will be back very soon!!

The birthday cake we ordered was delicious and the cream cheese frosting was sinfully good. We couldn't resist taking some gumbo to go for dessert. Very tasty.

I stopped by for a late lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The young lady that helped me could not have been more friendly. The sandwich and cupcake were excellent. Great little place for a quiet lunch.

My roommate introduced this restaurant with me. Since that day I have been in love with the many selections of bakeries and of course the crab cakes. I find myseld ordering crab cakes every time i return. The owner is very generous and welcome each customer personally as they walk in the door. Can't wait for my next trip there.

The guys from work were looking for something divergent for punch. So we were looking for a different lunch spot, so we stopped in. WOW, I was truly amazed, the lunch specials were very good. I had the bowl of gumbo, to my surprise, it was very good! This is not a comment I give out very often, having been born and raised in New Orleans. The ladies that run this establishment are very delightful and the cakes are amazing!

I really, really wish I had something good to say about my first (and likely last) experience. Okay, I will. The young lady running the show (all by herself) was very sweet. That's the best I can say about anything. Waiting tables was not her forte, neither was preparing a sandwich. She's obviously a precious little soul, but not suited to serving customers in a restaurant. My friend and I (who were meeting for lunch for the first time since last summer) agreed to be adventurous and try something new rather than our old favorites. I told her I'd read the positive reviews on this place and it was near our favorite shopping haunts. When we walked in there were two empty booths to the left. Both needed bussing (one plate on each table- not hard). There were 2 other patrons at a table for 2 to the right and a long table down the middle was empty. The young lady brought out the menus, took the plate from the table where she was going to seat us, left, and returned a few minutes later with a rag to clean off the table. We agreed to look over the menu first before ordering and the uncertainty had already sunk in but we thought the turkey club sandwich sounded good so we both ordered it. We've been to deli/bakeries before and the sandwiches are usually served on deli fresh-baked bread. The bakery part must be for sweets only at this place. (But the pictures posted lead you to believe the bread they serve IS deli style.) The sandwiches she brought out were on round-top type supermarket bread, so...kid-size, ordinary. We were looking at our sandwiches thinking "Where's the turkey?" When we asked she informed us it was turkey bacon. Rather than the "club" sandwich we were expecting, it was a TBLT and not a very good one. Two hard strips of turkey bacon, about half a slice of tomato, some lettuce, and the avocado was about a teaspoon smeared mainly on half of the sandwich. The fresh fruit on the side was fresh and a somewhat decent size serving, but that didn't nearly make up for the sandwich. The disappointment and shock was so great at the end of a painful lunch; I forgot to point out that they have a huge sign in the window saying lunch was $6.95 and we were both charged the full $8.95 for honestly what wasn't even worth $6.95. Adding insult to injury, really. After giving us our sandwiches, she never came back to the table once to ask us how our food was, if we needed a refill on our drinks, nothing. Nada... After we finished (which didn't take very long) - we waited over 15 minutes for the check and finally had to ask her for it. Five minutes later we ended up walking to the counter. She actually asked a couple (who had come in after we had finished eating and while we were left waiting for her to re-appear) if THEY minded waiting while she checked US out! I was embarrassed (since I suggested the place) and am disillusioned to the point that I will NEVER try someplace new again unless I've tried it out by myself. It was unforgettable all right. Not in a good way....

A hidden gem! I had the chicken salad sandwich and my parents got the vegetable quiche, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our lunch! Everything was fresh, flavorful, wholesome, and incredibly tasty! Great service and delicious cupcakes on top of that.

I love it there! The food is great and the atmosphere is wonderful. On top of that the service is friendly. My favorite is the vegetable quiche and for breakfast the spinach omelet. You can't leave before you have the Morning Glory muffin. The food is delicious and worth every penny!
