Just wow! That pink ranch sauce is one of the best sauces I’ve ever had! I love trying new sauces — and sometimes I end up having more sauce than food 😝. The burger was also incredibly juicy and flavorful. This is definitely one of the best burger spots for me.

You’ll see different reviews, and this one is a more positive one. Genuinely depends on the staffing that day in my opinion. Our food was great! We ordered very quickly and when we even needed additional condiments they offered them with no charge. Portion sizes are smaller but i think it’s adequate for the prices they are. It tasted fresh and the pink ranch is something different to try! I’d come again is provide another try and recommend to others!

Great location, food , atmosphere but, the lady with the dog resting on the booth seat was a bit much ! Animals Should not be allowed in a restaurant ESPECIALLY on the furniture and I'm Positive the booth seats aren't cleaned often because ours had long, thin, stringy hairs in the creases of it!! Next visit I'm bringing my 40 lb sweet pit bull with me and see what kind of reactions and responses and welcome I receive ! I'll keep you posted !

I ordered the KC Hot Birdie Sandwich and a side of truffle fries. The food was very good and I enjoyed it but I think they need to do something on pricing. $15 for a sandwich and fries without a drink is absurd.

I eat at this place quite often. Usually ordering it from home because I’m an extremely busy entrepreneur (although I’ve also driven 7min to the location). My fries were soggy, wet and gross. When I called to talk to someone, the manager disregarded my first set of words (which was: I’ll drive in to get my new meal) and told me “do I want to be rude or do I want my meal remade” if she had listened in the first place - I wasn’t asking for a refund. I had already said I would drive in. Now, with blood sugar low, my workload getting behind on me, I have to drive to another location to eat and see if they have better service. I have observed this lack of customer service when I’ve gone into the establishment to eat as well. Staff would rather gather and talk than clean up or service customers. As a business consultant, I highly recommend the owner implement a quality control system and training system.

i *INHALE* the truffle fries every time I come here. Fries FIRST!! The tacos are really good, I enjoy the vegetarian ones! Anything with pesto is a win with me. The veggie quesadilla is super good if you’re an avocado lover! They also have a wide drink variety from citrus water to delicious shakes. Whether you need a quick snack, dessert, or a full meal, this is the place to go.

The GOAT truly is the greatest! Packed with flavor! Took me a minute to find this place as gps is not exact and there aren't any large signs, (if you go to the Roasterie, it's next door in the same building) but oh my goodness so worth it! My chicken taco was cooked perfectly and very nicely seasoned, the truffle fries were crispy and the portion very large.

A truly unique dining experience in KC! I enjoyed the fish tacos I ordered. The atmosphere was bright and inviting. Even the bathrooms were unique!

Vibrant open health conscious place. I had the beet salad with double chicken to go. I loved the beets with arugula, tarragon, and mandarin. Really refreshing. The chicken was a bit dry, however. I ordered online and somehow it didn't go through - but the staff was very helpful regardless.

I had a great first visit at Unforked! I stopped in at opening for a solo lunch and left thinking about my next visit. Lucy at the counter was so friendly and helpful. She offered great suggestions. I ended up going with her surf and turf taco suggestion along with the Broadway Joe shake. The truffle fries were something I already had my tastebuds set on and they did not disappoint. Every single item was delicious! The taco was packed with flavor, the fries were hot and perfectly seasoned, and the shake was creamy with just the right boldness. The space has a fun and relaxed vibe with TVs, bar seating, a cozy dining area, and patio seating. It's a great spot for a solo lunch but would work just as well for a casual hangout with friends or family. Looking forward to going back!

Beyond disappointed in this place. I ordered a salad that didn't come with specific ingredients like the dates. After having to ask for them we were given a small dish of them. While eating in the restaurant the loudest sounds of construction banging and pounding of the walls were coming from the kitchen area. So loud that my friend and I wanted to leave. The second time I went there I asked for the chocolate custard mocha. There was no chocolate nor mocha in it just nuts and custard. The lamest excuse came from them when I asked about it. We don't have chocolate custard. The staff and service is bad and the ambiance sucked.

Highly recommend the Akaushi Burger! Flavorful and seasoned perfectly! And also love the 24 hour fries! Have also tried and enjoyed the chicken quesadillas. Uploaded and ordered through the app which is super quick and easy. Love this location!

Gave this spot another chance, and unfortunately it's still less than ideal on several fronts. But let's start off with good vibes, their custard is fantastic! We all shared a "Peppermint Pothole" over the holiday break and it was top tier. We were slow to order because they didn't have a kids menu, which is surprising for a place like this. I'm fairly confident the Crown Center one always has the kids covered. We just ordered off the other menu, but it was confusing. My oldest liked her burger, my youngest didn't care for the super-dried out chicken tenders, and both devoured the fries. I got a spicy chicken sandwich that was OK, if not a bit forgettable. This is on the heels of a prior visit where we got these delicious grain bowls that were literally small enough fit into a petri dish. So not exactly won over by this place, despite being at Woodside 5x times per week, a stone's throw away. I wish they could nail down some consistency and their menu with some more clarity, but we're unlikely to return.

It worked. The food was fine, not great. Long wait, and customers seemed frustrated. Reasonably clean.

Food never disappoints! The barking pig tacos are a favorite in my family! All Unforked locations are caring of allergies! There fries are in a designated fryer. My mom with celiac can enjoy the fries and feel safe eating here!

I like the menu of Unforked and the idea of it. The dining area is a bit too sterile for me but OK'ish. However, my desire to return is truly impacted by the lack of cleanliness (sticky tables takes a little extra effort to make sure they're not), this happened several times. And I just can't get past the staff, I realize they're younger, which generally isn't a problem however, they have not been trained to be truly customer focused. They are on the phone, a lot chatting a lot, not really engaging with customers, and when they do engage with customers, it's just standing there and you're annoyed and waiting for you to hurry ... just not what I'm looking for in my dining experience.

Well, I was excited to try Unforked as tacos are my favorite food. I was looking forward to the crispy avocado taco. The avocado was not warm or crispy, it was soft chewy tempura and I was very confused. The taco was also put together sloppy or without care. I'll say surprised and disappointed. Their bathrooms were also locked and customers not able to access restrooms. This was also disappointing.

Ordered takeout from here and decided to try 3 of the tacos, the citrus crunch chicken, barking pig, and the cali all on corn tortillas. These were all DELICIOUS!!!!!! I always love to try different tacos and street tacos and these did not disappoint. Also my order was ready super fast! Also had the brownie for dessert and that was also really good! I recommend trying this place if you find yourself in the KC area!!!!

Stopped by at around 3pm on a Sunday and was impressed by this location. With hardly anyone in the restaurant and the sun shining through the windows, it made for a perfect weekend lunch. The staff was friendly and took our order and we found a seat at one of the large booths. They provided a pager that buzzes when the food is done. I chose the chicken quesadilla and the 24 hour fries. If you like your fries more crunchy and thin, this is the spot for you! They are seasoned perfectly and paired deliciously with the food. The quesadilla had good flavor, however I wish it contained a bit more chicken because it was on the thinner side of quesadillas I have eaten. For dessert I had the Kiss My Bundt, which consisted of chocolate cake, raspberries, and vanilla ice cream.... so SO good. Definitely recommend if you like chocolate and raspberries. If you're in the area and haven't tried Unforked, give it a shot !

So so yummy. We were coming through on a road trip and looking for something with healthy options that could also accommodate gluten free and dairy free folks. We loved our meals the Akauashi Burger, chips and queso as well as the Cali taco were wows. But the dessert was definitely where it was at. The Hunk of Love and Kiss my Bundt were devoured so fast. Cute space with nice patio. No fault of the restaurant but there is a cross walk for the blind constantly beeping next to the patio.

Got a tip that this spot had good milkshakes. I popped in and grabbed one, but also got a burger. The Pure Burger was DELICIOUS! I snagged the Broadway Joe shake and was pleased with it. I prefer a finer blend, but the flavors were good. Very chill spot. Nice for a burger spot. I carried out, but will return to dine in!

Cool spot with great vegan options! Loved the impossible burger on the portobello set up! Prices were good too!

Very good burger but the truffle fries were the star of the show for me. Very tasty and a great portion size. Staff were nice as well. It's a nice interior too, a good place to stop for a nice meal.

Unforked is a must-try! I ordered the ancient grains bowl and truffle fries to go! The fries were terrific, and for $5, they gave you a HUGE portion. The bowl was like a fall in my mouth. The restaurant was so cute and clean. The staff was friendly, and the food came out quickly--a great place to grab or dine. I enjoyed the experience and would recommend it if you are in the wood side/ Kansas City area!

This was my first visit. Definitely returning! I ordered something I never order at a restaurant. I got the Ancient Grain Bowl. It was so delicious! The sweet potato, kale, farro and roasted chickpeas were a perfect combination. I went with friends and we each got something different. The ambiance was great, quiet and perfect for groups. It is the type of restaurant where you order at the counter and pay and then they give you a pager to come back and get your food when it is ready.

I feel so bad having to do this but there's no way they are actually charging $12 for 1 single taco.and then they trap you into tipping at the window. I just feel so scammed. Food was good but it really better be for that price. I feel like I'm in la

My first time eating at Unforked and wanted to say it was delightful. The young lady, I believe her name is Tara, who waited on me was so friendly and helpful. She recommended the KC Hot Birdie which was delicious. Overall a really good experience and would definitely return. Hope all your staff is as friendly as the young lady who served me.

This was my first time at this location! It was really cute inside, I was impressed with the selection and variety in seating. I got the pure cheese burger + half kale salad. The total was around $15 I believe. In my opinion the burger was on the smaller side. The side salad was good, but could've been served in a bowl rather a plastic cup. Overall, the food tasted nice and I'd give it another try.

Slow service because they are always understaffed. I have heard they are a terrible company to work for, so that might be why. Food is decent. Tacos for Life is better and close by.

I did an online order. Gave them a tip. I get there and there is no one to greet me. There is guy waiting in front of me who walked out because no one helped him. The woman finally comes out and they have not even started my order. I get home and realized they messed up my order. It had one item on it. Come on. Let's learn how to give a hoot about one's job.

Impossible burger was good but the shoe string style fries were cold and unimpressive.

This restaurant is in the same building as the wonderful Blue Sushi restaurant. You can park in the same lot as Blue Sushi behind the building and walk to the far left of the lot to find the stairs to enter Unforked. Oddly there are no signs in the lot directing you to the restaurant. We got the Impossible Taco, the Ma-La Bello taco, the Cali taco, and the Crispy Avocado taco. All were very good, with the Impossible Taco and the Crispy Avocado taco being best. We also got sides of the Cauliflower Rice and the Not So Sweet Potato Wedge, with the sweet potato wedges being really outstanding along with the spicy sauce provided with them. We got glasses of the Black Box Chardonnay. The dining room is very attractive with comfortable oval booths facing the large windows along Rainbow Blvd. If we were there for lunch or to pick up takeout food, we would have been totally happy. Relative to takeout or lunch, the service was very efficient, fast, and friendly. You order and pay at the counter. The food is then brought to your table. If you decide you want another glass of wine, another course, or dessert, you return to the counter, place your order, and pay at the register and add tip each time you order something. But for a relaxed dinner, I prefer full service at the table without the need to return to the counter each time you want something else. In addition, at dinner I prefer not being asked to add a tip to the bill and to close it out each time I order something before receiving any service. There is a middle ground. Spin Pizza restaurant requires you to order initially at the counter and to provide your credit card, when you order. But they do not close out the bill and you do not yet add a tip. After you go to your table and receive your order, your server takes the order for anything else you want and provides updated bills each time you order anything more. When you have finished your dinner, you add the tip, total your bill, and sign it to close it out. For dinner, I find that procedure to be more relaxed and appropriate than having to return to the counter for everything else you want, while paying and adding tip for each additional course or glass of wine in advance. I am giving the restaurant four stars as the average of the five stars for lunch or takeout service and three stars for dinner service.

We are regular customers of Unforked. The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant has comfortable booths and is very clean. We can't really say enough about this eating establishment. You won't be disappointed if you dine at Unforked!

I love Unforked's food and I hadn't been to this location yet so was happy to check it out. The building is clean and fresh and modern, but be aware that all the windows make it cold. Bring your jacket. Plus it's confusing where you're supposed to park- to help others who may be wondering where to park like I was- park behind the restaurant and walk between it and the store named Ulah- you'll see steps going up to the restaurant entrance. We got a variety of their menu items and enjoyed them all. The queso dip was the star of the show. We could've drunk it like soup! Super nice staff and quick service. We'll be back.

The food was fine as usual, however we received the worst service from the cashier. We order the same thing every visit; chicken quesadilla, 2 surf and turf tacos, chips & salsa and a frozen margarita. When the cashier asked the type salsa I wanted, I couldn't remember the name of the original and I asked her if she knew and she responded with a very rude, "no". I didn't realize it was such a bother to ask a question. So I paid the $42 and waited for our food. When the food came out, my order was wrong and once again she seemed annoyed. Also, my frozen margarita was not frozen. Look, I get that people have bad days, but she clearly had an issue with me and it showed on her face as soon as I walked up to the register. I asked one question about salsa and received her bad attitude and hostility. Going forward, I can order tacos elsewhere.

The food is very tasty and unique. Unique in a good way. You can get a healthy meal and then splurge on a concrete or shake for dessert. I am disappointed that this place is never crowded, but also glad I can always walk right in. They have a liquor license and serve a nice selection of beers. I recommend the Ancient grains bowl. All my childhood, tacos were crunchy fried corn tortillas filled with seasoned ground beef. If that is your idea of a taco, think of these as warmed soft corn tortillas filled with creative or gourmet ingredients. Don't call them tacos or you might have a very wrong preconceived expectation.

Came in around 7pm for dinner, ordering was easy and food came out fast. Nice environment and the shakes after dinner was superb, my youngest picked this spot will definitely come back again to try more off the menu

Service and food. My BLT was trash. But at least the ice cream was as good as I remembered.

Disappointingly underwhelming. When I've visited the other locations, I've always enjoyed the Akashui burger. Here though, there was little to no flavor in the burger - it was to the point where I thought, "I could have made a better burger at home". I also got a seasonal side dish called street corn queso, which didn't have a good flavor blend of queso and corn. It looked like it wanted to resemble a twist off of elote, but that was a misfire for me as well. Those two items were about $17, which for neither being good, was the most disappointing part of my visit.

This is counter service, every time I've been it's been for lunch, and they are very fast. I recommend the sandwiches and Fries, the "warm bowl" not so much, it's too small for what you pay. If I'm near by, it will do. There are better burger places, but this place has a lot of other options.

Ordered from DoorDash an AMAZING impossible taco and average hot fudge M&m concrete. Portion sizes are smaller size so expect that with your order.

Unforked catered a wedding event for us and 150 guests. It was fabulous (taco buffet). We had plenty of food, caterers were gracious and respectful, and we received more compliments on the food than I can count. Out of town guests want to have Unforked open in their cities. We highly recommend Unforked catering!

Our first trip to Unforked and it didn't disappoint! The space is really nice - modem and clean. The Pure Burger and truffle fries were fresh and delicious. Of course, we had to finish it off with a concrete! Tip: parking is on the backside by the other retail area.

I work a few doors down from Unforked in Westwood, and love eating here! I've never tried something I didn't like. Their employees are always friendly and service is quick! Highly recommend.

Friendly staff, very clean, good food and super fast. Happy to have one of these in Westwood. $4 happy hour wine is a steal as well!

This location is in a great spot and beautiful inside. We came in for 2 concretes, which took about 10 minutes to receive. When we got them they were both the consistency of a milkshake, not thick like you typically get at other Sheridans or Unforked locations. We got concretes that typically have chunks of cake in them, but they were smooth and barely had any toppings in them.
