A Few Nashville Dining Experts Look Back on Some of 2021’s Saddest Restaurant Closures | Eater Nashville

"A dependable favorite, especially during its first five years of operation. I loved the bar program and the smoked mussels, so its closure really stung." - Delia Jo Ramsey

This place is not home, you’re barely allowed to do anything around here. You can’t fix your car in the parking lot, if your tags are expired they will tow your car. If anything is on the ground or in the hallways. They will charge you 50$ per item.. you pay all this money to not be able to live freely.. I do not recommend this place unless you are 55+. Everyone will be in your business, people will tell management on you and you’ll easily be written a letter. The management team does not respond back well. As you can see in some reviews above.. this place is very nice but very controlling. I feel as if we pay regular rent then we shouldn’t be controlled how we are controlled.. everyone around here is walking on eggs shells because the floors are thin and the walls. You can hear people coming up the steps and as they walk through the hallways.

Listen, I’m gonna try to make this as short and sweet to the point, but I can’t make no promises. I wanna say that my living conditions at Union Commons flats in Clermont County is the best home I’ve ever lived in . The buildings not only are brand new and just built, but they are definitely affordable. They’re beautiful. We have a lot of accommodations here like the swimming pool, the fitness room. The office staff is so outstanding, so efficient ,friendly and quick to help you with any problems . The maintenance team all around great people. I want everybody to know nobody ,and I mean nobody is more proud to live in these lovely apartments as I am. I get up every day thanking God for where I live , especially in hard times like today , because I know he led me to this place. We kept looking for somewhere to move. I wanted a house so bad . But what I like about my complex is , it’s peaceful and quiet, Clean of course, It’s beautiful. The apartments look like a five star hotel but then when you’re inside of them, they’re built like a house .We have the kitchen islands. I have a lovely patio. I have a big closet for my washer and dryer roomie bathrooms ,roomie closets, Plenty of cabinet space in the kitchen . The apartments have a wide open space with sunshine coming through ,which lifts my spirit every day . I thank God and this community for coming together and building such a beautiful place. I met the builder Joe today because we had a ribbon ceremony and it was very nice and everyone there was nice. I introduce myself to him and explained that. I’ve always envisioned myself living in a place like this . Secretly I’ve always want to be a builder. I always felt low housing should have the same quality of living as everyone else has. Many families have children and you need space , you need a fair rent amount , so you can take care of your family . We need a place for kids to let out their energy like a pool or a gym. Again I just wanna say thank you ,Union commons management and the whole team and everybody who put this vision together. You made a woman and her family very happy. I thank God for you , I thank God for this Community, and I thank God for where I live in case you missed it . I LOVE , LOVE , LOVE MY NEW COMMUNITY !!!!!! Thank you for reading my book lol , MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE FOR OUR COMMUNITY! Annette Hickson, in Clermont County Eastgate, Ohio.

So far so good. The buildings are all new with nicer fixtures, finishes and appliances than you would normally get in this price range. The one negative thing to say is also part of it's best aspect, the price is affordable and the apartments are more luxury than you would expect in this price range because its part of a government program. You first have to go through the normal approval process and that is relatively quick in my case, but then they send your application to the compliance office. This part of the process can take time and make you almost want to give up, you have to make enough money to qualify but you also cant make over a certain amount. It took almost a month and I was very worried as I had a move out date where I was leaving. But Ann somehow made it all come together at the last minute. I am glad I did stick it out and was well worth the aggravation with the process, these apartments are quiet well constructed with all I can see, and seem to be well run, and quiet and quite beautiful.

It's beautiful peaceful quiet community and area. Me and my family recently did a tour recently and received the paperwork. Nice size room's, has a workout room, has elevator s and myself and my family can't wait to move in thank you for taking the time to help me and my family.

Why the hell does a senior citizen have to spend now 3 days in near 90 plus temps with no ac yet again in this brand new community!? Edit to your response: I tried calling day two and three. To be told its a third party and they are aware of it. This is not the first time. Im making this post so people are aware that as of this time your young community needs a 24 hour repair

We’ve lived here for a month, the living situation is amazing, lots of room.. just a few things.. 1. The walls are thin and you can hear everything. 2. The shower curtain rod is stupid high and we can’t find a curtain that’s 96in long. 3. Our boys have been riding their bikes around since day one, we ask about putting in stop signs and speed bumps bc the speeding is here is HORRIBLE. And now all of a sudden they can’t ride their bikes anymore, they can ride it on a half finished trail. We never had a problem with management, or needing anything fixed. 4. Wish they would put in a playground for the kids to have somewhere to play other than in the parking lot, or on the sidewalk. Other than that.. the community is quiet, and nice.

I love my new apartment at Union Commons. The staff members are so kind. The fact that the building I'm in is secure means so much to me. There's a pool and a fitness center. If you like to walk and exercise this is the place for you.

This place is horrible. The application process is extremely slow, first and foremost. My roommate and I were overcharged $50 for the application fee, which we were told would be refunded. They claim to be working on it and putting in tickets. However, we were denied due to our income being too high, which we should have been informed of sooner. Since no one in the office knows the correct information about their occupation, we were misled and dragged into a pointless process. According to the reviews, we won't be getting our money back 😭, so please don't respond as if you care.
