Stayed here about 2 years ago - Decent rooms in a pretty grungy location. Family owned place with kind staff. I paid about $60 for my room. Important to note that there are only shared restrooms and I did not find them very clean. Great if you just need a place to rest your head for a night. Not a luxury spot by any means but glad that something at this price is available in this city.

Simple but clean, extremely friendly family running the place. Don't expect luxury, but a great place to stay in the Mission district, right next to the BART station entrance. I loved the Indian restaurant (Pakwan) that they recommended.

Great inexpensive place. If you need to sleep for the night it is perfect. If you are looking to lounge by a pool with your kids, keep looking because this is not for you. They have nice televisions in the room, and access to the shower and bathroom n the hall. Coffee by reception area.

I knew I could get past the shared bathroom for just a place to crash for a single night. But the beds were very uncomfortable. Seriously spend the extra $20-40 so you actually get some rest, or you'll regret it. I'd give them half a star for not having bed bugs etc. AFAICT, but I can't bring myself to give it a full 2 stars.

Positive: There is no heat. They leave ALL the windows open to "air it out". You can close the windows in your room but by then it's freezing. The low was 57 though it's July and with no heat, that's ridiculous Negative: The entrance is filthy

I booked a double room with a queen bed and I was expected to get it while I saw it in ad. |However, when I arrived, I noted that this a hotel for homeless people who smoked weed and keep some trash in their rooms. The front desk helped me to up all my luggage on the second floor only (it is actually first floor in this hotel). |When I asked for my room, the frontdesk said that all rooms for "guests" are on the 3rd floor. When she walked me in a hallway, the is so thightly that you have to walk by your side. |The room that she proposed to me was sooooo small (~100ft or 9m2). The window exits to construction and a local restaurant and meat store. The noise from these infrastructure was so exessive that I was supposed to plug my ears that to avoid constant headache. |When I asked why I cannot get my double room, the receptionist said that all rooms are standard and if I am dissatisfied, I can cancell my reservation but I will not get my money back because no refunds after check-in. |There are 2 bathrooms and 1 shower for 15 rooms. Another bathroom and a shower are closed and used by owner's family only. Laundry is for hotel's use only and not for guests. No lounge, no elevator, no kitchen (only one, usually with no water, coffee machine and only during limited time). Water and soda for additional money or bring your own. |Outlets in the room are very unsafe because they are barely screwed in the nests which are close to your bed. Another outlet is too far from your bed, so you have to charge your phone and to wake up that to unplug it. |Wi-fi is terrible because if your room is far enough from the office's area, your wi-fi will kick you out every hour and you shall reconnect again.|So, think twice before to make a reservation in this "hole in the wall".

Really good for its price, I got a private room for less than 60 bucks; also not too far from a BART station if you're tired

The Mission District is very cool. However, where this hotel is, it feels like on the set of some post apocalyptic third world nation. The family that run it are very friendly, they obviously care about the place, it is clean, as well as the toilet area etc. On the downside, the rooms are very small and it's easy to hear your neighbours. One shower for about 20 rooms is not great either. For the price I would suggest spending a few more dollars and get a hostel or something, the size of the room actually got to me and I ended up getting a different place and technically having 2 rooms in SF
