Great spot to drop in for a coffee or emergency groceries! They don't have everything and what they do have is expensive, but they usually have eggs and basics like that. Lots of gourmet snacks. And wine! My only complaint is that they're often sold out of oat milk. I've tried the sunflower milk they stock and it's not my fave. Pretty cramped inside but they have a great patio in the warmer months. Right now they set up a little bistro table inside since it's so cold out. I love dogs but I am grateful that dogs stay outside so they're not mixed up with the food. There is a doggy "parking spot" right outside the door.

Ronald greets you with a smile and a friendly hello!! Everyone is the store was delightful and fun! The store is adorable and very well kept and the breakfast sandwiches were delicious!! Such a great find and we will be back!!

What a great neighborhood shop! I like to stop on my way to work to pick up a latte and club sandwich (for lunch!). The lattes are perfect and well-priced. I'd be willing to pay more since it's a locally-owned store, so it's a bonus that they're at least $1 cheaper than other DC coffee shops. (Hey, a dollar adds up.) The staff is also very friendly.

Tasty sandwiches and a very friendly staff. To-go orders only, with a few tables outside to sit, and a cute boutiquey grocery and beer & wine store inside. Great bacon egg and cheese on a bagel!

I really enjoy going to this place. Out of the 7 places I can walk to for coffee; I like theirs the best. Ronald & everyone there is super nice. I highly recommend swing by especially if your an out of towner for a true DC experience.

Great place to stop buy & grab something to make dinner a bit nicer. The products they sell are high quality & some are local. The staff members are wonderful. 👍🏻

Union Kitchen provides everything you could ever want in a quick corner shop store + community. The staff is unbelievably friendly and kind to everyone who walks in the door. I look forward to seeing Lisa in the mornings and grabbing what I deem the best iced americano in the city. Pebble ice somehow elevates it above the rest! 10/10
