Outdoor street parking lines both sides of the road leading up to this quaint restaurant. Online reservations are available and very easy to use. My husband and I opted to come out at 4pm on a Saturday to have some apps and share an entree . While there is plenty of seating, it’s a little on the smaller but intimate side. I can see kids coming in but the vibe and environment says date night or friends gathering would be more appropriate. The staff was friendly, welcoming and attentive. I was very impressed that our server recognized we were sharing an entree without us saying anything. We ordered a burger that came cut in half and served on two plates which made it simple for my husband and I to tuck right in. I do wish they offered a burger option that had lettuce and tomato, but their house burger is tasty as is. I would also love to see a few more non meat options, but over all the smaller menu is solid and pricing is mostly sensible though slightly on the higher side. 2 apps, 1 entree, 1 glass of wine and a cocktail came to $80. I would go back here for date night

I come here often and typically the food is good. I decided to order the house burger with caramelized onions, for a $22 burger I would expect on point presentation and taste, quite bitter. The burger looks like something you would have done at home with no effort (look at the picture). French fries were good. The server was really nice but very slow service for half empty establishment.

One of my go to restaurants! I love their ever changing menu. The staff is so kind and atmosphere is absolutely on point. Some standouts from our latest visit were the mushroom risotto, steak (and especialllly the potatoes and sauce), and the chocolate tart (I could have eaten the caramel sauce by the spoonful). Add this place to your list!

We have been two times in the past week - once to finish up the spring menu and once to try out the summer! Everything about this restaurant is incredible, the atmosphere is excellent, drinks are fantastic and the food even better. Our waitress remembered us from night to night (even my allergy!) and was fantastic. The Amish Chicken and Duck Meatloaf are must-haves. I can’t believe this place isn’t busier, they absolutely deserve to be.

Google
First visit but it certainly won't be our last. My husband and I were splitting an app and entree and they graciously split food without us asking. Food was delicious. Mykala was the bartender and our server. She was extremely friendly and attentive. Love the restaurant vibe.

Google
I really like to eat here like the place and food always come out good is true i always ordered the same food. Pork belly and duck breast is my favorite. I love how present every single dish here like Michelin star restaurant, i wish will be more staff on the menu. But the dessert menu isn't that appealing :-)

I just had the best beet salad ever. Each ingredient made the whole dish a triumph. The vinaigrette should be bottled and sold. The beets were fresh and perfect texture. The goat cheese was the right amount and great creaminess. I don't live in Hartford but if I did, I would be here once a week enjoying this salad. The rest of our meals where also on point. The shakshuka and cheddar rolls were yummy!

Celebrated my 7 year anniversary tonight! Going here was impromptu and we couldn't have been more pleased. Here's a list of dishes we tried. Starters: I am not a big fan of fries, however these hand cut fries were cooked well, not too soft and not cooked too hard it paired well with their black truffle aioli. The Mussel Escabeche on the fresh Sourdough was absolutely amazing! Entrees: My wife order the Salmon and I ordered the Duck breast, both cooked medium and was absolute perfection! Dessert: warmed Fall Apples over ice cream with granola. Well balanced flavors and not overly sweet. Drinks: CALM WATERS (blanco tequila, pasubio amaro, strega, chai whey cordial and lime) Perfect blend! SMOKED APPLE OLD FASHIONED (bourbon, apple brandy, becherovka, smoked apple oleo) Great blend, fresh apple taste, perfect for dinner or taking the edge off after a long day! Tonights dinner was absolutely amazing and we look forward to returning soon. We give an utmost compliment to the chef, hostess and our sever, Abigail who was absolutely fantastic! 🙏🏽💙

Yelp
I've been a few times now for brunch and it's amazing each and every time. Today I had the Asian Inspired Breakfast Burrito. I subbed French French from the breakfast potatoes because their fries are amazing shoestring style fries. My table shared the French toast. It was delicious.

Lucine D.

Yelp
Delicious curry fish dish. French fries were also amazing! My husband got the burger and he loved it. We got a vanilla ice cream with apple dessert and it was great! Relaxing ambiance and attentive waiters.

Josh S.

Yelp
From the happy hour menu we tried: Dumplings, tuna Nachos and the mac and cheese. And anything with the words pork belly in them. Cocktails menu is creative and changes often. A great low key, classy, casual place that usually has options from a quick snack to a more upscale dinner experience.

Rish N.

Yelp
Union kitchen is an exceptional restaurant. The service is very good. The ambience is vibrant yet calm, the food is extraordinary, and I love the unique items that you can find on the menu

Yelp
We went here for my husband's birthday and the food was delicious. Be warned though that it is so slow. We had been there for over an hour and still hadn't gotten our entrees, which dampered the whole experience. I wish the waitress brought out some bread, at least. We were there with my in-laws and our toddler, so it was difficult to deal with. Our appetizer was the whipped ricotta. My entree was the salmon, my husband got the honey lavender duck, my FIL got the burger, and MIL got the stuffed eggplant. Everything was pretty good! It's nothing memorable, but we enjoyed our meals. Price is right for the quality. If the wait wasn't so excruciating, it definitely would have been a four-star review.

Yelp
My friend and I went to Union Kitchen for Happy Hour. We sat at the bar. Union Kitchen is a nice place for a first date, it isn't too noisy and it has a very upscale look and feel. I got the Buckstar cocktail, this was so unique and so delicious! This is a vodka based cocktail, with mint, cacao, and citrus. It is lemonade yellow, crisp and juicy with back notes of cacao. What a drink! For food, my friend got their house bolognese, and I got the Whipped Ricotta Toast. The bolognese was very fresh and was topped with the just right amount of parmesan. My whipped ricotta toast came on two tiny pieces of toast, but this ricotta was pouffy like perfect little clouds. There was a coat of sweet apricot jam on my toast. Finally, it was topped with balsamic and pine nuts. Wow! This was such a pleasant play on my taste buds! I was so happy with my first visit to Union Kitchen. My drink was unique and delicious and my ricotta toast was so delectable and tasty. My friend also enjoyed her pasta and her cocktail. I'm looking forward to returning here again soon!

Yelp
Went for lunch with a friend, haven't been here before. Menu was very small small, out of a couple things. Had a Gem salad which was ok. There were chunks of cheese which required knife- it didn't easily crumble or blend through the salad so it was here's greens with a wedge of cheese. Not the best to eat without a struggle The wings were good, large in size, small portion. The burger was good, cooked perfect and good size.

Yelp
Stopped in at Union Kitchen with friends for drinks and dessert. We just had eaten so we wanted something light and sweet. It wasn't extremely packed when we got there around 730pm On a Friday but people started to come later and it definitely got busier. Our waitress was very sweet and helpful providing suggestions! If you are GF , there is definitely limited choices for dessert ! I had the Montenegro Ice cream. I'm Not sure if it was suppose to be soft like a shake but separately the Montenegro liquor was served to be poured over the ice cream. It was very good. My friends had drinks and a Warm Brownie. Menu has lots to choose from but if you are looking for sliders and wings this is not the place. Perfect date nite restaurant!

Yelp
I'm surprised we haven't reviewed Union Kitchen earlier since we've frequented it a few times. I believe this is the first dinner meal we've had since we usually pop by for some amazing cocktails. And the amazing cocktails experience continues to be consistent! Let's start with the beautiful liquor wall and amazing bar service. Nothing pleases me more when I can hand the reins over to a bartender to ask for a "bartenders choice" cocktail and it delivers! Being a tequila girl, he proceeded to make a unique tequila martini and it was fabulous. The small bites we had were equally amazing. Melding together some of my favorite food groups, including a savory mushroom type pudding, some cauliflower au gratin, and a chicken Katsu sandwich. All of these were savory, a little sweet and just a perfect hearty pairing for such small plates. Compliments to the chef. Union kitchen is one of the notable epicenters were locals and visitors come to congregate and mingle. If you are curious about a proper cocktail experience with a bit more subtlety and laid-back ambience definitely stop on by.

Yelp
I had brunch here with the family and thought the French toast was alright. It could've been fluffier, and both the toast and fruit felt a little soggy. My mom had the soup and it was okay. We wished it was more flavorful and creamier. The service was a little weird, they kept asking us if we had a reservation. Overall the outside was nice, but would recommend eating somewhere else for brunch.

Rida S.

Yelp
This place was on my list for a while, it had a good brunch menu with a variety of options. I loved my omelette was pretty filling and had a good amount of salad on the side. The orange juice was also very good. The place was super cute for a nice brunch on the weekend. I would say the service was good but it took a while for out bill to come and get picked up.

Jackie S.

Yelp
Went here for the first time for brunch and had a great experience. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and chic (unfortunately don't have any pictures) and we were promptly seated. I was really impressed by their attentive service, and I was very satisfied with our brunch order-- the pork belly and fennel appetizer and two fried chicken sandwiches. The food was fresh and hot, the chicken juicy on the inside and crisp and well seasoned on the outside, and the fries and side salad were simple but delicious. We also ordered the magic moment and smithstreeter cocktails and were very impressed. A great place for a date or an outing with friends-- and worth the high price.

Candie G.

Yelp
Great happy hour prices. The bolognese and ricotta toast were delicious. I had the tequila ginger cocktail which was perfectly gingery. The ambience is really classy and good for a date. My friend thought her ricotta toast was very good. I've had the calamari dish in the past and it was good too.

Lisa L.

Yelp
Popped in for happy hour earlier this week and had a great experience ! It was our second spot so we didn't have a lot to eat but really enjoyed what we had. Hubby got a chicken sandwich and I had the summer zucchini pasta dish. Bar has interesting liquors to make exotic drinks. Cant wait to get back and try more things

Stacie M.

Yelp
Had a lovely Sunday brunch here with 2 friends while I was in town visiting. I liked that the menu was big enough with some brunch staples. We were just looking for a casual, cozy, not too expensive brunch, and it's exactly what we got. Service was great. Was thinking about the brunch bowl, but ended up going with the omelet special because it sounded so good, and it was!

Yelp
I have eaten here a few times and cannot figure out why this restaurant is not busy . The food has been excellent . Burger is A+ . THE best around . The ambiance is good. Last 2 times we chose to dine at the bar during happy hour . Being a great bartender is a forgotten art . Having a could care less attitude about engaging a guest is a huge turnoff. First I was told an ingredient for a certain drink I requested was not available even though the bottle was on the shelf staring me in the face . Second , came a dismissive attitude when I pointed out the ingredient WAS on the shelf. The bartender clearly did not want to expend the energy to make the cocktail so I ordered something easy. At this point I just wanted to eat and leave. The bartender disappeared into kitchen for a bit. Probably because the place was empty. So sad...I don't think this place will be in business much longer with the lackadaisical attitude I experienced. This is a job for Bar Rescue even though the food has been quite good. Bartenders need personality and attentiveness In addition to knowing how to make a cocktail .

Sammi M.

Yelp
My husband took me here on a Saturday night to try out their tasting menu, which I didn't even realize this place offered! What a fantastic experience it was. He made a reservation for 5:30pm and good thing too because the place filled up very fast. The tasting menu consisted of 5 courses and even came with a wine pairing. I'm currently pregnant so was even more excited when they said they did a non-alcoholic pairing with kombucha and mocktails as well. The food was delicious and everything well made. I would add that the options were also pretty great rather than just having a set menu. Our waitress was extremely friendly and checked on us often, and the person that brought us the pairing beverages was also clearly knowledgeable. I definitely recommend a stop in, especially for the tasting menu!

Carol A.

Yelp
I haven't been here in a while and heard they changed their menu so I decided to pop in for happy hour. The food was overall good. We ordered half of the menu and the highlights were the Chicken Katsu Sandwich and the Whipped Ricotta Toast! The whipped ricotta toast came with balsamic and pine nuts. It was a great combo! The wings were good but SPICY and I loved the dipping sauce they came with. I also got an Off The Clock to drink and it was amazing! I would definitely come back here for HH. On a side note my favorite dish used to the be the braised short rib over a cavatelli mac n cheese which is sadly no longer on the menu.

Brian L.

Yelp
Very friendly staff, a diverse and adventurous menu, as well as quick turn around time from ordering. Came in with a large group and they were able to handle us just fine and also move food in and out quickly. The lobster risotto was quite the treat. The chili oil was the difference maker in this dish. Turning it from another ordinary risotto, into something fun and different. Coming from North Carolina, I've had my share of phenomenal bread pudding. The white chocolate that is incorporated into this pudding adds the extra kick needed to solidify a dessert as the last bite. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars rather than 5 is because I found several of their drinks rather disappointing, but to each their own, you might actually enjoy them. Definitely give this place a try!

Joe B.

Yelp
Still wonderful, same great dishes with new specials like the heirloom multicolor tomato salad, truffle buffalo wings, and the duck!

Stephanie B.

Yelp
Might be my new local cocktail place. They make a perfect Aviation! Service was great at a high too for 6 last Friday night. I was surprised we walked in and got a table. The bar is one of the prettiest I've seen! The dark lighting gives it a cozy feel, especially on a winter evening. I give a 4 star review for some great food, but some just ok. The surprise star of the evening was the mushroom appetizer. You do not have to be a vegetarian to find this delectable and full of flavor over the egg custard its served with. Those who ordered the burgers loved it. The arctic char was cooked nicely but I found the portion to be quite small, especially of the sides it came with. The pork belly lacked flavor, and we were disappointed that the calamari had quite a bit of fried cauliflower mixed in. I'll definitely go back and try happy hour with some more apps. Perhaps brunch would be good to try too!

Ben S.

Yelp
Came for Easter Brunch. Menu seemed small and uninspired particularly for the Easter and Brunch Menus, but my parents picked it and we just went along with it. My wife and I split a wedge salad which was very good, particularly because of the fried onion strings. She got fish and chips. Fish was well fried, but bland and the truffle fries were very undercooked. I got a ham and egg special with Brussels hash. Ham was good, but the eggs were dry and the hash which was all potatoes and almost no Brussels was undercooked as well. My dad had biscuits and gravy and my mom had the frittata of the day, both of which they liked a lot.

Paul A.

Yelp
Union kitchen is not just a staple of the community, with its great food options. Although it has a great line up of knowledgeable staff, great skilled bartenders and a sleek look which will take your first date to a second and a third. In no time. Come for the drinks stay for the conversation.

Carol R.

Yelp
We had Mother's Day Brunch at this excellent restaurant. Everything was terrific. Expensive but worth it.

Braeden K.

Yelp
Amazing service. Food was outstanding duck prosciutto was amazing! Espresso martini to drink. Best drink in WEHA

Liz F.

Yelp
Thanks to some recommendations we tried Union Kitchen for my birthday dinner. We were surprised by some live music with a great set list. Blame it on the Aperol - ketel one grapefruit and rose botanical, Aperol, Prosecco, and lemon UK Old Fashioned - Bulleit bourbon, Amaro Averna, Maraschino liqueur,Angostura Porcini mushroom ravioli I heard this was great! Braised boneless short rib with Mac and cheese and spinach. This was soooo delicious. Fried chicken sandwich with Mike's hot honey. The chicken was so tender and juicy The food was all so amazing! We will be back.

Rebecca C.

Yelp
Late drinks and dinner. Stopped into this cozy eatery. The dishes were well curated and handled with care. Our server was warm and knowledgeable.

Rachel E.

Yelp
Super disappointing. Showed up for happy hour with my mama and my toddler in tow as per usual. This restaurant only allows bar or high top seating for happy hour and they were holding their high tops for an event. Short story; had to leave cus children don't belong at the bar.

Greg W.

Yelp
After scouring Yelp and Resy and other apps trying to pick a spot to grab dinner last night my girlfriend and I decided on Union Kitchen. We've been there before and the food and atmosphere were really great AND they had Arctic Char on the menu this time, a dish I don't see a lot. I got it. It's pictured and it was delicious. Skin crispy, fish perfectly cooked, some great sweet potato sorta hash on the side. My girlfriend got the shrimp and scallops. She has an onion and garlic sensitivity. Asked if there were onions and garlic in the dish and was told only in the sauce and it could be put on the side. Perfect. Until it wasn't. Lots of onions throughout the dish in the bed of couscous. Needless to say this was not expected and we let the server know. Now mistakes happen, no big deal. It's how you handle mistakes that really matters and Union Kitchen absolutely knows how to handle a mistake. A huge shout out to Dylan (I hope I'm spelling his name correctly) for making things right. Took the dish off the bill, offered us a dessert for the trouble. We didn't even have to say a word. I was very happy with the response and resolution. Don't hesitate to have a night out at Union Kitchen. The food is tremendous and if something goes awry you have no need to worry about it being handled properly. We look forward to going back.

Vivian R.

Yelp
3 stars for the food.which was Excellent! It came out quickly though they weren't very busy considering it was brunch. We arrived around a 1130 fairly empty, we sat at the bar and I love the aesthetic. However, our bartender Ian did not greet us or come to us, I had to ask for menus, and ask for to take our order and when my cousin asked if they had cappuccino or coffee his response was "didn't you just have coffee" (my cousin came in with a coffee which she threw out she just didn't see trash can outside as I myself had an empty water bottle and didn't see any place to throw it out before entering) regardless he was inattentive and rude. I hate leaving crap reviews but service is key part of service industry. I have gone to places with bad food or mediocre but return because the staff and people are amazing. Lastly, I wouldn't order mixed drink from there... he made drinks and kept taking mixer spoon from this dirty cup (see pic).

Kelly H.

Yelp
My partner and I made a stop for Happy Hour and Union Kitchen did NOT disappoint! My boyfriend thought about the pork belly we had for a whole week. It was that amazing! I've gotten this many times before and it's a must everytime I go. The pork belly is crispy, a huge serving, and beautifully seasoned. The arugula and egg were perfect along side! Their happy hour deal is wonderful, not pictured is the photo of the dumplings we got! We will be back!

Dan S.

Yelp
On a prior visit I was pretty critical of the service. Thankfully that seems to have resolved itself. We came here on a a gorgeous weekend night. Sat outside next to live music through the window. Service was really great. Even better though was the food. Each dish was delicious. I got the halibut. No complaints here rethought I would've liked a vegetable with it. The dumplings were spot on and I loved the cocktail I got too. Glad to see this place get its act together.

Erik S.

Yelp
Union Kitchen is a great place to enjoy unique and inventive drinks while sampling many of their exceptional food offerings. On this visit we were lucky to enjoy their food during happy hour, which allowed for a tasting of many different small plate options, at a discounted price. The bartender was very friendly and offered knowledge of the many drinks they had to offer by aligning our tastes to the drink options. The food was spectacular from the Asian style tuna to pot stickers and a mushroom flatbread. The atmosphere is clean and relaxed with large windows, which allowed us to watch people walking the busy streets of West Hartford center. I truly look forward to visiting Union Kitchen soon to sample a broader array of larger plates and specialty cocktails.

Kim W.

Yelp
Came to Union Kitchen after another spot didn't work out but coming here was a good decision in the end! My friend and I snagged a table on the sidewalk to enjoy the final day of September and it was such a great seating choice made better by the propane heaters (also a perfect spot of people watching is your thing ) If calamari is on the menu, you bet it's going to be on the table. Union Kitchen's take on the dish is unique but not to be missed. Labeled as "Frito Misto" on the menu so calamari & veggies fried in a light, rice flour batter. The biggest surprise was the fried lemon slices. Also loved that the garlic aioli was spread on the plate as a base and served with the spicy pomodro sauce on the side. Next up the entrees- we each got the house burger served with fresh cut fries (yum!) and a small garden salad with a light oil based dressing. These burgers were certainly unique with the black garlic aioli (be ware this stuff dripped out of the burger and got everywhere) otherwise these burgers were juice and offered a great combination of flavors: savory is an understatement. Maybe I should back things up a bit, my stomach is full from all the wonderful noshes but I'd be remiss if I didn't also talk about the cocktail. Both of us ended up getting the UK Bellini - essentially a peach Bellini but this one is extra special with the orange and almond flavoring. I'll be honest I was a bit skeptical about a $13 Bellini for a lunch cocktail. This one was up and away better than other Bellinis I've had and associate with brunch. There was plenty to slowly sip throughout lunch and it packed a little punch too Our sever was great and helpful when it came to educating about some of the more unique cocktails on the menu and provided an appropriate level of service for the occasion. I'll be back (I don't think today was my visit, I believe I sopped I'm not long after they opened) but I would love to try their brunch and happy hour menus too.

Kelly M.

Yelp
We sat outside on a comfortable summer evening. Our appetizers and meals were delicious. Very laid back, very polite. Would definitely come back.

Adit N.

Yelp
The space is nice. Cute location. Service was pretty good. I got a breaded pork dish and would say it was very underwhelming. Under seasoned and a bit dry. I think other people in my party enjoyed their entrees more.

Sarah M.

Yelp
Went for our anniversary dinner and they were so incredibly sweet nd welcoming! We loved the eggplant and kale and their burger! Such a beautiful ambience and lovely staff

Kimberly B.

Yelp
Went for a birthday celebration with 6 people and it was absolutely incredible. Every dish was delicious, and beautifully presented. The service was spot on as well. Just perfect!

Kathy C.

Yelp
Dined 4dec23 . Had a HEINOUS food experience. Served veal shank looking like a loose roofing tar piece , & even worse tasted like same.. COULDN'T CHEW THRU I BITE, DESPITE 4 MINUTES OF CHEWING. Waiter insisted it was NOT overdone pot roast. Replaced with chefs salad, with it turned out to be a lame vingarette. {sp} Waiter handled above mess with class . General manager was non existent, only a female bar manager subbing for him. Smiling, kind & gracious. Had a sometimes it just happens attitude- my phrase. Sadly, what a wasted celebratory evening planned. Never again. Will tell all of above

Dan C.

Yelp
By chance, we made some last-minute plans with another couple who suggested the Union Kitchen. It was a first time visit for all 4 of us and I must mention that 3 of the 4 have very high expectations for our restaurant experiences. From the moment we entered the Union, we were repeatedly impressed despite being somewhat experienced skeptics. We were immediately greeted at the door with a smile and very courteous manner. As patrons, we were asked what our seating preferences were...not pushed into whatever was available and expected to feel lucky. Once seated, the drink orders were placed and filled promptly plus our menu questions were answered in knowledgeable detail. We were never rushed and the service was well-timed to our pace...very considerate and professional. I must mention that our server was extremely helpful and honest. Additionally, if she did not know the answer to a menu question, she went into the kitchen and asked. Based on her information, I ordered the burger which I never do because even burger dedicated restaurants are now producing marginal products. The server's info was a bullseye and I found one of the finest burgers I have enjoyed in a long time...no fibrous lumpy meat, a delicious mixture of beef cuts cooked exactly as requested and presented A+. Our table also had a few apps, a salmon entre, an order of Bolognese and some desserts...all excellent and served professionally and with a smile. We are a hard-sell but all of us were very impressed and not only will be repeat customers, but we are spreading the word to our social network that the Union Kitchen is an experience not to be missed.

Cassie G.

Yelp
I am not a huge French toast fan but OMG this version by Union Kitchen was amazing. Their mimosas were also the best I've had recently. They also have great lunch/dinner options as well! -Cassie aka @eatwithcmg on Instagram

Rachel S.

Yelp
Came back planning to have the delicious short rib with Mac and cheese however this place completely changed their menu. I was very upset when I got there and found out the items were different. Not only did the menu change but they also don't have any live music anymore. Which they should remove from their website because I also went for the live music that night. Was very bummed about that. Got the brussel sprouts with honey as an app, those were pretty good. Then for my meal I ordered the burger. The burger was good, I thought the black alioli was a nice touch. But VERY skimpy on the "hand cut" fries. Were they cut from mini potatoes, what happened to the rest of the fries and why were there so few of them. With the new menu they didn't have much I really was interested in ordering, this place is also a bit pricey. I'm not happy about all the changes so not sure if I really plan on coming back here.

Kate T.

Yelp
Another great happy hour in WeHa! I love the thought that goes into their menu and the use of fresh and local ingredients. The katsu sandwich and tuna nachos are my personal favs. Note: they make a mean espresso martini! Service is good... ambience is amazing!

Tanya S.

Yelp
Had a great happy hour here at Union Kitchen! It really has a nice ambiance. I want to go back to try some of the food on the menu! Cocktails were definitely delicious and on point!

Steven G.

Yelp
Sat night visit and sat at the bar. They have a great, long bar with tons of seating. Also love the tables just behind the bar seating; you feel like your in the bar area but not actually at the bar. A good alternative if you like that. I was disappointed with my kettle & club. I get using a shot glass but come on! And in a basic collins glass that's the same as a water glass? You can do better. So I switched to wine and they have some great options. Started with the Roasted Oysters Appy. Great flavor and recommend; comes 3 to an order. Also had the Fritto Misto. Another good choice. Bib Lettuce salad was a great segway to Spaghetti Limone (crab in every bite) and the Halibut special. Healthy portion. They also have a Prix Fixe for $65 a person (Food and Wine) which I might try next time; looks like a nice option. Definitely returning and a nice slightly upscale experience in West Hartford.

Lauren S.

Yelp
We are semi-regulars at Union Kitchen. We love everything about this restaurant. The service is always stellar, and the menu interesting & delicious. Even when the place is busy it feels cozy.

Leah S.

Yelp
Average menu, average food, fair service. Union kitchen chopped salad lacked dressing. Good place to meet up with company, however the food was nothing special.

Claudine C.

Yelp
Union kitchen hosted an amazing event last night called "Shift Drink". The opportunity to taste so many different wines from France, Italy, Space, and Portugal was amazing! Plus the heavily passed apps were delicious. I only captured a picture of the crudo, unfortunately. I sincerely cannot wait to go back and have an official meal there if the passed apps are any indication of what the kitchen is capable of!

John M.

Yelp
We celebrated with friends Seated right away Service was great very attentive Drink and apps came quick Started with calamari - great flavored new dipping sauce We tried a few salads each with protein and I got the ribs Everyone finished their plates And we got coffee and desert Even though lichen was closing they gave us a little time to order desert Overall great experience
